Had a great Valentine's Day late lunch. Everything we ate was delicious. It was busy, but service was good. The Arancini, Coopers Hawk chicken and the red wine short rib were delicious. The S'more budini was a lovely sweet treat to end our meal.

It was our first time here and all four of us had a wonderful meal paired with wine. There were two orders of Shrimp and Scallops Risotto, Dana's Chicken Parmesan with cherry tomatoes and Pistachio encrusted Grouper. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp, Crab and Lobster bisque. All three dishes were very well prepared and the vegetable sides were also very good. What added to the evening was that our waitress Tia who served both as a hostess and waitress was thoroughly familiar with the menu and her professionalism was evident throughout our meal. Also the manager Vilia came over to pour our wine when it arrived and she answered any questions we had, again being very professional.

1st visit to this restaurant it was so awesome 👌🏿 food wine drinks and atmosphere were superb. Service was lack luster however it is super busy and I tipped well understanding it is restaurant week. Our entrée came out before our appetizers so we were given a small adjustment nicely done by management. Best part of the meal was desserts that were to die for. The wine list absolutely the best. 10 out of 10 meal and wine pairing. I will definitely return with a few friends in the near future well done Coopers Hawk for giving Alpharetta a great place for meals and drinks.

My partner and I visited Cooper’s Hawk for the first time and our experience was absolutely amazing! Our waitress, Katy, went above and beyond—she gave us a great breakdown of the restaurant and made some wonderful recommendations. She was so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, the wine was incredible, and everything exceeded our expectations. It was so good that we joined the wine club before we even left. We can’t wait to go back!

My first visit and was a nice experience. Came for my friend's husband b'day. Our private dinning experience was hands on.Our servers were attentive and never felt unattentive. Our wine selection was also mouthwatering. Our dinning experiance left us wanting more. WIll be back. Plenty of parking and lots to see and do in the area.

Staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. Food was delicious and drinks were good. The only con was the pitcher of Sangria. There was too much ice in it. More ice than drink. Overall experience was great. Will be going back for wine tasting.

My husband and I discovered Cooper’s Hawk back in May, and it has quickly become our absolute favorite restaurant! On October 19, I hosted a birthday dinner there for my husband with 24 of our friends, and everything was perfect. Lisa, our lead server, was truly amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure the evening flowed seamlessly. Our friends couldn’t stop raving about the food, wine, and overall experience. Cooper’s Hawk has definitely earned a loyal pair of customers in us!

This was our first time eating here. There were four of us in our party and we were all impressed with the food and the wine selections. When you enter the restaurant there is a large bar where you can order a flight of wines or by the glass. The serverings in the flight of wines are large pours. And, at your table you get two complementary samples of wine. Lily, the lady at the bar that waited on us MADE this event so much fun. She was very knowledgeable, and she was quick to serve up the next rounds of drinks in the flight. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Jambalaya. The best I've had outside of Louisanne. Our server, Brittany provided great service. Everything was served up with a friendly smile. The orders came out perfect. She made the evening a lot of fun for us.

No matter how far Cooper's Hawk is. I will drive, fly and swim to it. The best wine membership I will ignore but never cancel. The food is delicious. I think by now we have eaten all the entrees on the menu and will put it all on repeat. This location was 5 hours away from home, they made us feel welcomed. Clean, brunch and date friendly

I had a nice birthday dinner yesterday evening. Its a spacious restaurant with moody lighting, which made me expect soothing music like Jazz or easy listening, but it was on a shuffle ranging from 2000s r&b to 80s pop. It was at a decent volume, so it didn't disrupt the ambiance too much. Our server Shay was fantastic in explaining the food & drink menu & the wine club. There were free wine samples upon request. I later got a glass of Gewurztraminer, a delicious sweet wine. The food was amazing. I had the braised short rib risotto. Everyone enjoyed their food. The birthday dessert of white chocolate & chocolate truffles was lovely. Definitely a place to revisit with its extensive menu

This place was bustling with action! I was excited to come here because I had been to two of these locations in Chicago previously. This did not disappoint. We got to try a wine sample while we were waiting for our table. Which I advise to book ahead as this place is busy. We were seated in the bar area. The server was very gracious and friendly. She put a smile on our face. Our food was delayed at least 50 minutes or so because of pre Mother's Day celebrations! However, we did enjoy lots of free wine samples and bread. The chocolate almond wine is fabulous! We did not mind the wait. We were enjoying conversation and just taking in the atmosphere. We are going to come back at a later date and do the wine tasting area.

The girls and I had such a great time at Cooper’s Hawk! We ordered from the Wine O’Clock, happy hour menu. While there weren’t many wine options on this particular menu, others had plenty, including non alcoholic Heineken, the food was delicious and perfect for unwinding after a long day. I recommend the Shaved Prime Sliders because they were so flavorful and satisfying! The atmosphere was cozy and chic, making it a great spot to relax and catch up. Although we didn’t do a wine tasting, it was available and looked like a fun option for next time. We also loved browsing their selection of wines and bar accessories, which was a nice bonus! Highly recommend for a girls’ night out or a casual evening escape.

This has been one of our favorite places. My wife and I were members in Florida for several years. We moved to Georgia in 2020, and unfortunately, there weren't any branches here in Atlanta. The restaurant chain finally opened, and as usual, they didn't disappoint! This is definitely a place you have to visit if you want to enjoy good wine and/or good food with your favorite person. You can also get a membership and receive a bottle of wine each month. It's worth mentioning that since today was Father's Day, the restaurant was packed! Even though we had a 4 PM reservation, we weren't seated until 20 minutes later. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the slowness was due to the holiday. Bonus: All the dads were greeted with a glass of wine, which I thought was a lovely touch!

Very nice upscale restaurant with lovely outdoor and indoor seating! Went for Easter Brunch. Excellent Sangria! Prime Churrasco Steak for the win. Crème Brûlée French Toast was recommended but way too sweet! 1 slice topped with a nice crème brûlée, whipped cream and light crunchy chocolate. Difficult to cut- hard on bottom. Belongs on desert menu. Overall great experience!

Stopped in for a late lunch. The entrance is a wine tasting area that leads to a nice long bar and seating area. There's another large seating area towards the rear and outdoor seating as well. They have a large menu with plenty of options for everyone. We enjoyed cocktails, wine, a few appetizers, and a salad. The Brussel Sprouts stood out, but everything was really good. Although our server was great, we felt the food came out very slowly. We'll still come back again for sure.

Loved the atmosphere. We were able to do wine tasting before being seated. This would be a great place for girls' night out, date night, or just to catch up with a bestie and relax. Brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday. You must give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We went here for their soft opening and I was impressed with the service and the food was excellent. For starters, the wine tasting room has a long bar with all the wines they produce displayed. A great value of 8 samples for $12(or a Luxury for $15-17) with a tasting sheet to educate you about each wine in fine details, with flavors expected, plus scales on acidity, tannins, sweetness, body and alcohol. On the food, best fried calamari I ever had, lightly fried with sweet chili glaze and a dip, and piled HIGH!. Delicious, veggie/goat cheese flatbread. Dinner? Must get the Shrimp/Scallops risotto. Dessert was awesome but not sure if it's still on menu.

I’ve now dined at the newly opened Cooper’s Hawk location twice - once for brunch and once for dinner. We’ve dined at the location before multiple times in south Florida so we were excited to try the spot in Alpharetta. First of all, we had really incredible service (especially during dinner service). It was quite busy and even for being a new location I was impressed the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. In terms of food, I really enjoyed the current seabass menu special but the rice it was served over was a tiny bit dry. I also tried the scallop risotto and it was quite good but a bit soggy on the risotto (which is understandably hard to get right in a restaurant environment). My husband and I actually joined the wine club which I highly recommend! I love white wines and the Pinot Gris and the Sauvignon Blanc are both delicious. I’m really excited to see a thriving business open near Perimeter which has been notoriously dead for many years. I strongly encourage you to come visit this business, support it and enjoy their lovely atmosphere!

I've reviewed Cooper's Hawk before at the Va Beach location. This is the newest location opened in GA and it's top notch as expected. The short ribs are the gold standard there. I hoped they would be just as good as I remembered, and to my delight it was. If I could make a suggestion would be to cook the carrots a bit longer, they were just a bit undercooked. The shrimp and scallop risotto was delicious! All the components in that dish are excellent. All the vegetables, the rice, and especially the seasoning. Two easily fixable issues with this dish. #1 add more shrimp and more scallops. If they are not tiger shrimp and scallops with a diameter of at least 1.5in...you have to put more that 4 of each in the dish. #2 and this is an important one...... put more of it in the bowl! That is a very good dish, if I didn't have an appetizer in not sure that would've filled me up. Speaking of appetizers, almost forgot about them because of how good the entres were. The shrimp, crab, and lobster soup is very very well put together. Very tasty and lots of seafood in each spoonful. The bruschetta is loaded with color and flavor. The way you can tell when is done right is when you leave it for a while and the bread still has crunch. That means it's not too runny and the bread is toasted to perfection. To top all of this off, the variety wine is stellar. They have something for everyone.

This was my first time at this location. We normally visit the Pembroke Pines, Fl location when we travel back home. But we decided to celebrate Father’s Day at Coopers Hawk this year. Being that this is the first location in GA, we wanted to check it out. When we walked in, my husband was greeted with a complimentary glass of wine. We were seated before our reservation time which was awesome! Although it was a very busy day our server Erin was still extremely attentive and the food came out quickly. We started with the calamari (10/10) and the flatbread (20/10). Get the flatbread! We coupled that with a sweet red which was amazing! For our entrees we had medium well burgers which were pretty good, but we most likely will try something different the next time. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

Cooper’s hawk was amazing and so delicious. The service was excellent Sydney And James came by to make sure everything was done to our tasting, and I said it was above and beyond. I recommend this to anybody and because of James the supervisor personal attention. I’m coming back Saturday next week.

We love cooper hawks. We always have an awesome time with friends and family. Ayanna did a great job tonight. She really kept her composure as things were moving quickly around us she made us feel like the only customers in the building. We really appreciated her knowledge and experience. She made us feel warm and welcome. You simply can’t beat great food and experienced hospitality paired with wonderful wine.

Went to dinner tonight to celebrate husband’s birthday and it was amazing! Our server Lisa was stellar, she made the night even more special on top of the kitchen working magic with wonderful food, creative combinations, and perfect execution. We had never been but will definitely be back and request her for a perfect night. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation now. A scratch kitchen is a blessing if you’re a foodie and this place pulls out all the stops. 10/10

My boyfriend and I recently had a date night at Coopers Hawk, we both had a great time! My cocktail was just right and we also ordered a bottle of Riesling. Service was very friendly with Kay and she answered any and all questions. I would include pictures of food and drinks but the lighting was dim and we didn’t get great pictures. We also did the sweet variety wine tasting which we truly enjoyed. Overall I give this location a 4 and I would return!

Cooper’s Hawk is truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. Ayanna and Jordan, the manager, were absolutely amazing—they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service was attentive, seamless, and genuinely welcoming. The food was incredible, every dish full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff as a whole was exceptional, professional, and kind. This is the place you want to visit if you’re looking for great food, great service, and an all-around great experience. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic experience at Coopers Hawk during a very busy lunch week of Christmas. Thanks to our bartender Benjamin we had a fantastic experience. Even with the rush, he was hustling non stop, was friendly, attentive and totally on top of everything for everyone. Drinks were perfect, service was quick and accurate and he always made time to check on us. It's impressive his level of customer service making sure all of us felt taken care of. An absolutely wonderful lunch experience. We'll done Benjamin. We'll Done.

We have now been to Cooper’s Hawk a few times and have had phenomenal service each time! The very first time we went for a wine tasting, the lovely Jasmine served us. She was so hospitable and very knowledgeable about all of the wine we were tasting. The other night we went back for another tasting and dinner, where we met Deborah. She gave us the best dining experience and was just the sweetest all around. These two women are so great at what they do! Not to mention, I have Celiac Disease and they have an entire Gluten Free menu and are so catering! My partner and I joined the wine club after our first visit and have not regretted it once since. A must go if you are in the area.

The food was pretty tasty. Our server, Chris, was friendly and had great suggestions. The bread was warm and buttery, and it's often stale in other places. We got the braised short rib and it was a generous portion for 2 people. We also got the Filet Mignon, and it was delicious! The broccoli was the best I've had-It was garlicky and perfectly seasoned. It came with fried onions which were a tasty addition to each bite. The smore budino was moreish and hit the spot for dessert. It wasn't overly sweet, and the marshmallow brought the perfect amount of sweetness with the bitterness of the chocolate and caramel. The only downside was that the water was disgusting. I dont know if it's the Georgia tap water, but as a frequent water drinker, I had to force myself not to drink it and ruin the rest of my meal. Still, it was one of the few places open on Thanksgiving and they even had a special holiday menu!

Cooper's Hawk is a great addition to this area! Service and atmosphere were absolutely on point. Lots of options, and everything is so flavorful! This would have been 5 stars for brunch had the eggs cook been consistent, but over easy should never come out over hard. Regardless, we will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!

First time here was mother's day weekend on a Friday. We stumbled upon this place walking from the hotel. They make everything in house except the ketchup. We were put on the walk in waitlist but I booked a table while we waited. (Please do this). We were seated in less than 30 minutes. It was very crowded and I realized we came right after happy hour ended. Pros: the food is amazing and worth every dollar. I had the druken shrimp as a starter. It was delicious. My son ordered the chicken potstickers that he never received after asking about them twice. ( I believe I saw them go to another table and maybe that was the last of them) This and our waitress is why I gave this review a 3.5 otherwise it would have been a 5 Star . I ordered the seared Atlantic salmon. Amazing. My son had the ellies chicken piccata and loved it. Now for the wine. I tasted the romance red and the vin chocolat noir. I loved the romance red. Ordered this for my dinner drink and took a bottle with me. Vin chocolat wasn't my speed. Our waitress cleared my silverware and never replaced it. I had to ask another person for silverware as our waitress went missing. We still tipped her 20% Nice atmosphere and I will return.

First timers here. Came on a Friday night with a group of 8. It was super busy so perhaps this wasn’t the best time to comment on service, but it was kinda disorganized. The food was good. I had sparkling wine, a Caesar salad and jambalaya. Shrimp was great and it was spiced just right. Wife had bubbly too, seafood bisque and Parmesan shrimp scampi. Scampi sauce was very watery - not even a marinara in consistency. Others had salmon and grouper and enjoyed their meal. The vibe was fun but very loud. We literally screamed at each other to converse. Ironically as we left and walked past the bar it was very quiet and chill. Maybe we will eat in the bar next time.

Cooper’s Hawk is a great addition to the Alpharetta food scene. They have many restaurants in the United States and so glad there is a location near us. Their wines are quite good, and you can do a wine tasting for only $17. You can also buy memberships in which you will receive wine deliveries based on which membership you select. Reservations are highly recommended especially on the weekends. When the restaurant is full, sometimes patience is needed as it does take a while. Other than that, I’ve been pleased with the quality of the wine and the food.

First time visiting this location in Alpharetta. The things I liked were the wine tasting, plenty of drinks to choose from, and the food menu. I had the mahi mahi. The potatoes with the limon sauce were delicious. The potatoes stole the show. My fish was cooked well, but the flavor was a little bland. The pretzel bread smelled great, and the flavor was good. It was fluffy and moist. We had a reservation, and we were were seated by the bar. It's not the best spot to sit at when you are trying to have a nice dinner, and people at the bar are hanging out in a sports bra and workout shorts. They should have sat us away from the bar crowd. The music was taking away from the romantic date we were trying to be on. It's a nice place but the music made it feel very cheap. It just didn't help set the mood of a nice dinner experience. To end on a good note, the reese's pieces and chocolate cookie were amazing. The peanut butter sauce on chocolate over vanilla ice cream was worth the hour drive.

Went for their soft opening in Alpharetta. I don’t drink alcohol but they had a great wine selection and a surprisingly good nonalcoholic wine. The food was good, had the churassco steak and my friend had this chicken dish that was good. Service was not bad, you can tell the server was being trained.

The only I give this place 3 stars was because the food presentation was Awful but the taste was good.. Order the steak and potatoes and it came out a hot mess! The potatoes were running like baby food🤢! But the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. But just thrown on the plate. I also sent it back until I tried it. And it was good… we ordered the chocolate cake but the center was cold and hard!! I think with a bit more effort this place could be better!!! I really need them to learn how to make mashed potatoes!!!!! I don’t take any pictures because everything but the egg rolls and flat bread look awful

We really enjoyed our experience at Cooper's Hawk! Brandi, our server, was excellent—definitely ask for her if you visit. She was attentive, offered great suggestions, and kept it real the entire time. For brunch, we had the Brisket Hash. The flavors were amazing and the brisket was incredibly tender. It would’ve been perfect if it had been served a bit hotter, as it may have been sitting for a moment. The pork chop lunch portion was also outstanding. I haven’t had a pork chop in years, but this one was boneless, tender, juicy, and served over delicious pieces of candied bacon. They were out of potatoes, so I chose the broccolini, which paired well. The jambalaya was surprisingly good too—served with a scoop of jasmine rice surrounded by the jambalaya. I would absolutely order either of those dishes again. And of course, we loved the complimentary pretzel bread that comes out before the meal! We also did a wine tasting. I can’t remember the name of our server, but she had a short brown curly fro and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wines. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return!

Lots of parking. Convenient to get to. Friendly staff. Good selection of wines - however the wines are only Cooper Hawk brands with rheir special flavors. Service was very slow, especially for a large group. Wines, chocolates and wine accessories are available for sale in the entry area. They have wine pairings with food. Also 8 wine tastings for about $20 .. with choices changing every month. There is a monthly club membership available for 1, 2 or 3 wine bottles per month.

For starters the hostess was not very warm or welcoming. They initially wanted to seat us in the bar area but my husband asked to be in the main dining as we were celebrating my birthday and it felt like a nicer environment. We were met with some resistance but ultimately sat In the dinning room. Our waitress was very nice but felt rushed. Brought our soup before drinks or bread. Did check in on us while passing but never felt like she was engaged with our table. Also no recognition for a birthday- what a bummer. Food was just ok. Soup and bread was the best part of the meal. For entrees we had grouper and mahi mahi. Grouper was better. Mahi mahi was over cooked. Expensive meal with mediocre service at best. I would t be returning here anytime soon in a town full of top notch food.

Walking into this restaurant, the ambience is wonderful, being seated the table was dirty. We had to sit somewhere else and still had to brush the seat off because it was dirty, upon our waiter it seems as if she’s not sure about the menu so I did not really feel comfortable when ordering however for appetizer the crab and shrimp and lobster soup was OK spring roll appetizers. It was appealing to the taste buds. We also ordered the classic burger which was cooked to perfection, shrimp and scallop risotto shrimp and scallop or cook perfectly risotto was a bit on the runny side needed more Parmesan. It was lacking Parmesan dessert. We had the lemon cake, which I would not recommend. It is not what it was described. We had two bites into it and had to call the quits. We also tried their wine the sangria, magnificent they have a very good winery. waiter customer service I did not get one smile out of my out of my server.

Today was an off day for service and quality. I’ve been several times before and I highly recommended it to my friends. One friend vowed to never return. The other two said they would try it again. I was very disappointed. Brittany was a delight and did her best to recover the situation after multiple discussions with her. My food was just okay today. The ambiance was very nice even though it was overshadowed with the service issues.

Poor service experience overall - directed at the entire establishment not our server. We arrived a few minutes early for a reservation and had to wait until well past our reservation time to be seated. The entry area is a mess to try to wait in with the large number of people waiting to be seated plus those drinking wine and browsing the store. One of our entrees arrived missing a side and cooked incorrectly. Fixing that mistake took long enough that the other had finished their meal by the time the other began.

There was a lot of hype around Cooper’s Hawk but sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. We had a terrible dinner experience from start to finish. It took quite a while before our server even came by to greet us. We placed our drink and appetizer orders together but the appetizers arrived first and we didn’t get our wine and cocktails until after we had finished eating them. Throughout the meal, no one asked if we wanted more drinks or even refilled our water. The entrees were a disaster. I ordered the filet mignon with two sides and a salad. The salad didn’t arrive before the main course instead, the entree came out first with only one side. Our server blamed on others for not bringing the salad Overall, it was a disappointing and disorganized experience and we were still charged full price despite not receiving everything we ordered. Definitely not recommend this place!

One and done .... I've thankfully had the opportunity to experience true Cooper's Hawk experiences and this wasn't it. I ordered a $50+ carryout of a cauliflower app and prime rib sandwich, see pictures. It was around 2:30p on a Saturday and it wasn't overly busy. Upon entry for pick-up no one was at the carryout counter so I waited until I finally went to the hostess stand for help. She did find someone to assist but I decided to use the facility before I took my meal to go. Bad move, I went to the family stall as it was closet but I quickly left as is was nasty with urine all over the seat. I took to the ladies room but the first stall had no tissue. When I went to wash my hands none of the three sinks had soap. Thankfully I carry my own. I asked for a manager when I came out and was promptly introduced. I explained the facility concerns and was quickly met with excuses, never an apology for the lack of proper management. I was repeatedly told about a missing key they prevented replinishment of supplies. I asked who was routinely reviewing the restrooms as they would see the issues and at a minimum provide supplies and clean them since you don't need keys to see. I was told that person went home and the next person wasn't there yet. Again, the manager said she'd send someone but didn't call anyone during our 7 minute conversation. The lack of accountability didn't go unnoticed simply because you smiled while we spoke. This is not the atmosphere nor management I'd previously experienced at the many prior visits at Cooper's which all happened in Illinois. I guess Georgia hasn't figured it out. The food sealed the deal. The app was so disappointing. It tasted burnt. The sandwich and fries were too salty. I didn't use the dip. It looked like some guests came from a PJ party. A lot of changes needed here.

I went with a group of friends for the first time last night. Service was horrible. Place was grossly overbooked and understaffed. We arrived at 6pm for wine tasting. Our reservation was at 8pm. After being seated, service was extremely slow. Appetizers were served after an hour. As of 11pm, I still had no entree. On the positive side, the manager covered food for our table and I was given my food to take home. I have never had a dining experience this bad. Enjoyed the fellowship with friends, although the place was very noisy. Not planning to return. PLEASE review lessons learned and make adjustments ASAP. We drove 40 minutes to dine. There are many options downtown near my home. Would love to see this restaurant survive.

Just finished my birthday dinner there. First timers. Won’t be back. Wine was fine. Service was decent but could have been way better, especially given the price point. Bread was dry and bland, no flavor. We got the shrimp appetizer which was actually good. When the food was finally served after over an hour wait it was gross. But we were hungry by that point. My medium filet was rare to medium rare at best. The Betty’s potatoes could not have had any potatoes whatsoever, just liquid cheese. Broccoli was cold. The chicken on my husbands Napa chicken salad looked like Boars head deli chicken. Coffee was weak, banana toffee pie was liquidy. The noise was over the top, couldn’t hold a conversation and the bathrooms were disgusting. No toilet paper. Will not be back.

It pains me to write this review, this restaurant is beautiful the ambiance is top tier. Walk through the doors, there is wine tasting, lighting is perfect. Now to my review. Reservation was at 7 we were informed they were behind, but not hour and a half behind. We got seated at 830. Our server was a cool guy but looked burned out he immediately told us the kitchen and bar was behind. We ordered drinks and appetizers waiting 30 minutes for drink and 45 minutes for the appetizers. Placed our entree order at this time. The meatballs were good so I was excited for the main dish. Our entrees came out at 10. So we waited another hour for our entrees just for them to come out cold. We ordered 2 dishes of the skirt steak with chimichurri and hand cut fries and shrimp scampi. The skirt steak was burnt even though we order medium, i asked the servwrs if the can bring the chimichurri sauce out she said of course we never saw her againn. The fries were not hand cut and come from a frozen bag with no parmesan in sight. The shrimp scampi never came out. Not to mention my wife ordered the short ribs with no onions the dish came out with onions and I don't know where them short ribs came from that thing look like a hockey puck with gravy on top. I'm am overly disappointed I had high hopes for this place. Guess I'll never know if this place is good as the reviews suggest.

We walked into Cooper’s Hawk Alpharetta with big dreams, a healthy appetite, and the naïve belief that a restaurant advertising itself like the Louvre of wine and food might… you know… serve food. Let me start with the good, because I’m a gentleman. We did the wine tasting first. It was fine. Eight tiny pours, pleasant enough, and the staff in the tasting room was friendly. Of course, before you finish your first sip, someone is already gently whispering about joining the wine club. Nothing says “relaxing evening” like a soft-spoken sales funnel. We get seated. We order a flatbread and our entrées. The waitress? Fantastic. Attentive, polite, helpful. A real pro. The flatbread arrived in about 10 minutes and it was delicious. Crispy. Flavorful. Hope-inducing. And then… nothing. Not “a little wait.” Not “they’re running behind.” Nothing. We waited so long I started considering career opportunities at the restaurant. Ninety minutes passed. Not exaggerating. No entrées. No updates. No sight of a manager. Just vibes and broken dreams. At this point I realized something important: Cooper’s Hawk is apparently a wine tasting room that cosplays as a restaurant. Eventually we canceled our food and left to go find dinner somewhere that believes in the radical concept of “bringing meals to tables.” Wild idea, I know. Here’s the part that really stings: if you’re going to charge upscale prices, push a massive wine club, and present yourself as a polished dining experience… you probably shouldn’t run a kitchen that functions like it’s powered by a hamster with seasonal depression. One star. Great flatbread. Nice waitress. Solid wine. Zero dinner. If you’re hungry, eat first. Then come here for wine and disappointment.

Absolutely the worst dining experience of my life. Seated our party of 6 at 6:50p for a 6p reservation. Server finally took meal order at 7:25p. 5 of the 6 meals were served almost 1 hour later (one of which was returned because it was cold). Took 15 min later for 6th meal to be served (server had to ask what the final order was). Glass of wine served in broken glass. When server offered to have manager to come to table we accepted offer. Manager never made it to table “because he was too busy” according to server. We brought a birthday cake to celebrate a birthday and requested plates to serve cake….server returned with 4 plates for party of 6. Seating exceedingly congested resulting in inability to hear due to noise. Will never return and certainly not recommend to anyone else.
