Canyon Inn

Came here recently with a group of friends, immediately felt so welcomed. Staff is so friendly and personable, bar is clean, not to mention the drinks are reasonably priced. They also have a DJ on Friday's so we're planning on coming back soon for that!! 100% recommend.

We have been frequenting the Canyon Inn since the 80's, and it's our favorite local bar. The Owner, Teri, is fantastic and always makes us feel welcome and happy we came. Our favorite bartender is Danielle, and she is absolutely fabulous! The food is delicious, thanks to Brittany. We now come most Sunday mornings for brunch, and love it. I highly recommend the Canyon Inn.

My husband and I love this place. Its closeby, casual, fun, good food and drinks with reasonable prices, and it's a nice change of pace to be around down to earth dive bar people in a city that can often feel really snobby. Thanks for giving us a safe space to have fun and let loose after a long week of work!

I had a literal 5 star experience at this great gem of a bar and grill. The steaks were incredibly flavorful beer was frosty and cold the way I love it and the staff is completely down to earth, fun and exciting to be served by will definitely be back when I’m in town thank you! Canyon Inn for the best experience!

Most comfortable and laid back environment. If you want to kick back and enjoy a few beers with great company this is your place. All of the bartenders are so inviting and fun to chat with. Plus their Sunday brunch is amazing!!!

I came here with my girlfriends for their amazing breakfast. It was my first time and didn’t realize they served breakfast on a Saturday morning. The portions are huge, delicious and great price. If you’re in the area, stop by for their amazing breakfast.

Came to the reviews to see how the place is doing now as I just saw the Bar Rescue episode. Never been here but the owner's replies to bad reviews are worth a 5 star rating. 😂 Congrats on staying open post-show and during covid. Apparently something is being done well enough to keep you open. Thanks for the giggles.

Seriously tasty burgers and great prices on draft beer. They have a karaoke night, DJ night, Golden Tee, and live bands weekly. I dig the darker atmosphere to offset the sunny weather here, not to mention you can see the 9+ screens clearly. Service is terrific.

The fact that people give you a 1 star rate because of the TV show its just sad, you don't deserve that. I hope that what we saw on the show about the owner is not true, he looks bad and aggressive on tv, but yeah it's a show so I don't know. But I saw the show is more than 10 years ago and the bar still exists so good job I respect that, and I wish you guys good luck for the future, greetings from the Netherlands.

About this serving minors crap. If the kid had a fake or false ID, sad to say, that's completely on the parents and the kid for poor upbringing and not keeping tabs on your kid. The way parents who give a shit DO. And teach their children respect for rules. I'm retired Military now, but back in the early 80s I used to frequent this bar coming home on leave from either West Germany at the time and either Korea or Okinawa. And I was 19 and 20 then. I'll always remember who ever was working the bar, owner I assume, telling me, "Old enough to die for this country then old enough to drink for this country." 19 years old is old enough to know better. And know there are always consequences for poor decisions! By no means and not to diminish the loss, but to put it quite bluntly if one is able to vote, acquire a Driver's License which means reading the Driver's Manual and passing the test, and join the Military Service at 19. One is able to discern the consequences of a poor decision and breaking the law. And BTW, for those already grinding their gears, I would WALK to the Club from Placentia. Esperanza Road was a dirt road back then.

Great bar. Its a very "Cheers" sort of place. The regulars are great at making new people feel comfortable and welcome as well. Its hard to beat the value on the food. Its good food, very reasonably priced, and you get a TON of it. I have a hard time even finishing it all most days. Great staff as well! All of the bartenders are super on top of things, and they have great cooks in the kitchen. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

Great bar. Its a very "Cheers" sort of place. The regulars are great at making new people feel comfortable and welcome as well. Its hard to beat the value on the food. Its good food, very reasonably priced, and you get a TON of it. I have a hard time even finishing it all most days. Great staff as well! All of the bartenders are super on top of things, and they have great cooks in the kitchen. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

Had a blast ! I haven't gone out in a long time 3 years at least 😅 , but yes place is a good little bar.

Well here I am again after many years. I live out of area but had to visit. I had Taco Tuesday lunch (so so). But I returned to have their Steak dinner special. It was great. Well worth the price. This is well done. Reminded me of Garden Groves Echo bar way back when. Only 3 things are needed: need attention to rest room (cleanliness and repair). Also, the pool table lighting is terrible. And of course the pool balls could be better or replaced. Anyway, I will return as the ambience and value is super.

Definitely nice staff and decent drinks at a decent price but sketchy vibe for females that walk into to the place. Also, people aren't as friendly compared to other dive bars in the area. Staff is great though and exceptional service.

I would’ve given five stars, but I was disappointed because I drove all the way out here specifically to try Canyon Saloon, and it wasn’t there. 😔

We came here cause it was close to our Hotel. As we were sitting at the bar one of the regulars mentioned this place being on Bar Rescue. Atmosphere is ok, drinks are overpriced and wasn't a friendly vibe for non regular people.

Went there a couple times, only went because some local bands were playing. There is a tremendous amount of potential to this place, but it does not appear this bar is under the best leadership. Does not appear much has changed since bar rescue. Now I know what Jon Taffer was talking about.

I was in the area visiting a friend and I remembered this bar on bar rescue I decided to try it against my friends recommendation. I don't know how this place gets new customers. I wanted to see if they still used canned soup and they do. The drinks were terrible, no one there knows how to make an old fashion or a long island iced tea. The staff was ok, the bartenders were nice, but thats all I can say about this place. I would stay away and go somewhere else, this place is only for the regulars, and they make sure you know it.

Place seemed like a cool little dive bar. I dropped in for a drink and dinner. I can't comment on the food because I was ignored for 45 minutes and wound up having to leave before I could even order food. I did get my beer, which was pretty expensive.

Although bartender made great drinks and was super friendly, the terrible food overshadowed anything positive. Meat was thin and over cooked. Very few options of on tap beer for a bar.

Reading these reviews & watching Bar Rescue on TV ! I decided to go with my friends & family to see the place !!! 1 star is too much for this place !! They definitely definitely ONLY cater to their local regulars!! The drinks are OK ! The bartenders are awesome! I but the customer/ or regulars are rude PS the is NOT A FAKE REVIEW!!

I was disappointed that it wasn't a hotel with a bar and grill. I thought it was a hotel. I never went in. Drove past it. Looked dirty from the outside. Ate at another steak house instead and stayed at a nice hotel nearby.

Not exactly a high point in my week in Yorba Linda. We ordered up food but typical concession stand/bar food. Highly recommend bottle beer and avoiding the draft beer (warm and lots of foam). Not a fan of this place and attitude/environment.

Another second rate "inn" that's really just a below average sports bar with bad food and warm draft beer. Left the food and beer there and went down the street to a better place for dinner and drinks.
