Great dining experience. We ordered the whitefish salad on two bagels, the hot ham and Swiss, and TJ’s Ultimate Omelette. Whitefish is usually fairly bland, but the salad and sauce added extra layers of flavor that we really enjoyed. The Ultimate Omelette comes with three eggs, provolone cheese, fries, and more. The fries were well seasoned and crunchy, and the omelette itself was nicely seasoned as well. The hot ham and Swiss was average, but still enjoyable. Overall, it was a great dining experience with friendly staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again. ere again.
Great breakfast experience at TooJay’s. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed perfect for a morning breakfast. I really enjoyed sharing this meal and starting the day on a good note. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
Clean, friendly staff and excellent food. Ordered a "pick 2" meal. Chicken soup and egg salad sandwich. There was mixup where I wanted tomato and no lettuce but got lettuce no tomato. Waitress was busy that when I noticed I didn't see her gain and ate it without the fixings. But it was still quite tasty added a bit of S&P, yummy!
Service was great, and the food was even better! I had the Hot Pastrami & potato pancakes. My wife had the Rachel, and a bowl of chicken noodle soup — everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and the variety of meals and desserts is unmatched. TooJay’s always hits the spot when you’re craving hearty deli food and something sweet to top it off.
We had a weekday dinner here for the first time. My wife had the Rueben Sandwich and I had the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap. We both had the Matzah Ball soup. The soup was excellent, our main meals were very good. Corey did an outstanding job of service going an extra mile to make sure my wife’s meal had no Soy. She is extremely allergic and carries an EpiPen for it. The sides were good too. Coleslaw was fresh and the French fries were crisp and not greasy. We will definitely come back when in the area again.
Hands down the best pastrami sandwich (toojay's classic) I've had in over a decade. Coming from NYC, It's hard to believe they never had a restaurant there. The French onion as also on point. Our server Anni (no E) was welcoming and made us feel at home.
Amazing pastrami, pancackes were delicious and fresh. Only we had to wait few minutes before someone even come to us and let us be seated. Overall a very good experience
Love their grilled cheese and French fries. Good coleslaw. Burgers and onion rings are good as well. Always clean and good service.
We loved our dining experiences at TooJays in Altamonte Springs. My husband and I ate here often while visiting my brother while he was in the hospital nearby. The servers were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious.
Everything just wonderful. Anni was a great server and made excellent suggestions. So nice to be back in Florida and enjoy some matzo ball soup, shrimp salad and lemon coconut cake. Even some rye bread to take home!

I had a wonderful experience dining today at the Altamonte Springs location. Debbie was an amazing waitress. She made sure everything was perfect. The Turkey dinner was so delicious & juicy. I highly recommend coming to see Debbie for the BEST service ! She was exceptionally attentive with a warm personality!
Debbie was excellent. I will definitely be back to TooJays and ask for her.
Debbie was completely attentive and efficient. Lynn is the best hostess not only in her thoughtful selection in seating but making sure I had my drink right away. Finally, the busser, a most passed over employee, is to be praised for taking his tasks seriously and being thorough and pleasant. His work ethic is evident. Perhaps trying
First time eating at TooJay’s and definitely not the last time. Food was way better than I ever assumed. Kayla took great care of us. I don’t give many 5 star reviews but TooJay’s along with Kayla and kitchen staff earned it.
Ordered food for pick up on Sunday 012526. We unknowingly left a tray behind when we picked up. Toojays contacted us and offered to deliver the tray. I talked to Eddie and he was fabulous!!! He was out the door and driving within minutes! Our tray was delivered just as people entered for church luncheon. You saved the day Eddie!! Absolutely LOVE Toojays!!
It was a calm lil spot with a bunch of tasty options if you are a big fan of deli food. With that being said my only gripe about this place is that they just need more people as the servers seemed stressed by the amount of people and tbh the dining area from what i can see was about 50 percent full. Otherwise, good food for a good price.

Our first time and the food/service could not have been better. Kira was awesome. She was so pleasant and also hurried our order because we mentioned we were running late to a meeting. We would definitely go back if in the area.

Brandi is very efficient and friendly. The first server on shift before her (Luzzy? Blonde young lady) was very nice to let us know they were changing shifts and put in a drink order before she left.
Always great food. The service was great and have fun window shopping for sweets! Served Debbie was super. Give her a raise. A keeper!

Cuban pork sandwich was actually good. Hard to find a good Cuban outside of Tampa and Miami
One of my favorite comfort foods--it feels like visiting my grandma's home! The matzo ball soup is warm and cozy, and the banana dream cake is pure bliss!

I had the liver and onions and it was superb but they were too busy for the amount of staff and everything took too long. I had them reheat the soup because it came to the table cold.
Quiet place to eat. A lot of older people there. Food was good. Hubby had a patty melt on rye and steak fries. I had a BLT on wheat with steak fries. They were out of pickle spears and two types of the cake dessert you couldn't get. I guess being the end of the weekend was to blame.

During my recent lunch with a colleague, I visited this establishment after a few years of absence. I was pleasantly surprised by the notable changes that have taken place. While the place may have undergone a slight renovation and appeared slightly rundown, the cleanliness of the floor and the condition of the booths were unsatisfactory. Despite these minor concerns, the exceptional service that has always been provided remains a highlight. The menu has undergone a significant transformation, resulting in the removal of numerous popular dishes, including chili, crusted almond cod, and even the original drinks. The brisket sandwich was disappointing. The bread was not toasted or warmed, resulting in a dry texture. The French fries were soggy and cold, lacking saltiness. The onion rings were also soggy and bland. Overall, the meal was unsatisfactory. My coworker had the turkey BLT sandwich. She mentioned that even with mayonnaise, her sandwich was bland and dry. She also noted that her fries were cold and lacked salt. Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise against dining at this particular restaurant.

I go here often and it is usually pretty good. The service is fine the food is generally good. But this last time it was 35 degrees outside and these guys had the ac going. The waitresses were wearing heavy sweaters, the customers all around me and generally seniors were all complaining and their excuse was they were having issues with their heat!? We asked for the manager who never came out nd if they were having heating issues at least turn off the ac and the fan! Even the soup couldn't warm me and im used to the cold but that was ridiculous
2nd time this place has disappointed me. cuban sandwich is a little meat between 2 slices of white bread and tomato soup cold. The food is awful and way overpriced.

The prices are high to begin and so the food should be quality. The stuffed cabbage was definitely NOT fresh. It came out cold and dry meat/rice inside was dry and firm. The sauce was fermenting an…
This is a $20 turkey sandwich. Had no mayo mustard or anything and was extremely dry. I remember toojays being good but this place has gotten way too overpriced and not the same quality.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations for the price. My dish arrived somewhat messy on the plate and part of it was not as warm or fresh as I had hoped.
