Well…it’s BBQ in a convince store. BUT ITS FREAKING GOOD! Price is good. Service is friendly and good. Have to say… I’m sending a new convenience store eating a barbecue hamburger that is really tasty for really a great price! It’s clean… It’s fast… The servers were super friendly!

The bbq is good, especially for this part of Texas. What surprised me is the chicken tenders. They are battered in house and have a great flavor. Definitely get them fresh but wow they are delicious.

Overall I’m not impressed. The brisket is dry and the pinto beans are over salted. I do wish people would learn the difference between salt and seasonings. The home fried chips are just okay.

First time visiting Mitch’s bbq. The store looked very clean. The store is inside a gas station so it’s very convenient. The food was ok. The chips looked burnt, sandwich’s were good except it would have been great if they used brioche buns and the buns were warm. The fountain drinks were so flat we didn’t end up drinking them. Other wise I loved the lay out of the store. Lots of parking and easy to access.

If you want some killer "gas station food" then come here. But that's just it. Brisket and ribs were tasty but dry. Turkey and sausage was great. Cole slaw tasted like 3 days old. And what's with chips? Stop wasting your money making those.

Brisket sandwich was delicious, and Purchasedeight or 10 piece ribs. They tasted good for what little meat was on there 50% was fat the chips were Old and dry..

Just got done with my meal at Mitch’s. I read reviews before going. I agree with previous reviewers that the brisket was dry and chewy. I had brisket similar to this in NYC once. I smoke brisket myself, (for personal consumption and for large groups) so I found it strange it could be this dry. There was also a very thin smoke ring which is strange. I noticed there was no flavor from salt and linked the bark to make sure I was correct. This could be why it is dry and not tender. I had the jalapeño sausage, (good but didn’t taste smoked), mashed potatoes, (bland) and beans, (very good but could use bacon). I also have the banana pudding but haven’t ate it yet. The guys working there were friendly enough but the one lady was not. Even when I smiled to say thank you she didn’t smile or say a word. I would not eat her again.

Honestly ordered "the Mitch" which I thought would be their go to "let's show them" platter but I got slivers of ribs..sliced smaller than kbbq. The smmy's were ok if you ate just the bread cuz guy to chopped to another level..straight beat the shit until it was mush..turkey was dry. Sausage was good. A fresh batch of fried shroom came out watery and bland. Yeah...bbq is dead..should've know at the black gloves but I'll just save my money and eat Wendy's instead.

Stopped in for some "Texas Style BBQ"... Extremely disappointed to receive sub par food at best. Bought two 3 meat, 2 side plates, an additional small side, an order of fried mushrooms and a turtle brownie, and spent over $60... Would we come back? Definitely not. -Brisket was well past overcooked and dry and had no seasoning unless the part that was seasoned was so burnt you couldn't taste if it had any. Had to drench it in their BBQ sauce just to get it down. -Ribs were decent and had meat, but they left the silver skin on which was rubbery and had to be thrown away. Again. Not seasoned enough. -Only had polish kielbasa sausage. Not what we wanted but they were out of everything else at 5pm.... but it was just simply basic sausage, nothing great about it. -Out of pulled pork during dinner time, so didn't even get to try that. -Okra and fried mushrooms were battered in yet again no seasoning, mushrooms would have been amazing with more seasoning as they were moist with a very crunchy outter batter. -Green chilli Mac was pretty decent. -Coleslaw was basic, wet, but didn't seem to have any flavor. -Potato Salad was delicious. -Chips were overcooked, dry, and too dark. -BBQ sauce was a basic sauce, nothing special but has a smokey flavor. Guess so when you dip all of the dry meats into it you get the smokey flavor that should have been in everything anyways.

How are you going to charge $12.00 for a plate, and have the food be so bad where my own dog won’t eat it? I took one bite of everything and was disappointed at how everything was so dry and stale, I got two briskets, two ribs, and two polish sausages, the best has to be the polish sausage, everything else was dry and bland as card board. I’ve had better from a 7/11 in Oklahoma, Texas ain’t all that when it comes to BBQ, Oklahoma has them beat. Don’t waste your time or money.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat and we should have just kept going, we ordered the 4 piece ribs with one side which we got mac and cheese and it comes with a drink we also added a 1/4 pound of sliced brisket, a side of green beans and a banana pudding. I try my best to give the review that’s due and this food was horrible, the ribs were very dry, the brisket I can say was moist but none of the food sides included had any flavor whatsoever it all tasted very bland and like we got the last of the food that was left for the day even though it was only mid afternoon, the sides seemed like they were leftovers from yesterday warmed up and the banana pudding had no texture at all it tasted like banana flavored whipped cream. Hopefully they can go back and rearrange some things in that kitchen.

First picture looks great. I devoured the first slider dumping sauce on it because the brisket was dry. The bun felt ... for lack of better words, rubbery? I hit the sausage and was definitely satisfied with the flavor there. The Green chillie mac was good too. But then I grabbed the second slider. Decided to try it without sauce. Something tasted off. So ... I spit it out and flipped the bun over. Wallah! Luckily I'm sleeping in my truck, because if I get sick, I'll head back inside! ... To be continued! 🤬😡🤢🤬

The gentleman was nice, but the lady seemed to be having a bad day. Bad attitude and seemed to be annoyed. The condiment station was dirty and empty BBQ space. The brisket is dry and overcooked. No bend to it, just shredded apart. Sad as a truck driver to come to a place to eat and not the norm truck stop this place over all was a true disappointment. First time trying this place and maybe the last. If anything I may try back later if they are still here.

Their food was terrible today! Stopped in for the mitch and got burnt turkey, greasy pulled pork, bone dry brisket, the sausage was the only thing that tasted the way it should and the ribs you could have bounced off the pavement they were like rubber! Over all bad experience and I will think twice about stopping here again. Oh and lady chopping brisket was just out right rude! Oh yeah and I paid over 50.00 for 2 plates that weren't fit to eat! Oh and 1 last thing there were no rib at all on 1 plate but it should have had 1 rib but that's OK since it couldn't even be chewed!
