Our family stopped at this Wendy’s for a fast dinner on our drive home from Colorado. A homeless man came in, and Michael (the man who had helped our family order food) recognized him. Michael, the Wendy’s employee, asked him if he was wanting to order food. The homeless man nodded his head yes. As my husband got up to refill his drink, he saw Michael helping to pay for the homeless man’s meal. THIS is what we want our kids to see. This small gesture made our family so thankful we chose Wendy’s for dinner. Thank you Michael for taking care of the man by helping him get food for dinner.

We love Wendy's it's the best, people very friendly. We were in Amarillo, Texas , it was very cold and windy that day so we had chili, fries, and chicken nuggets everything so awesome. 🙂

Wendy's has fresh lemonade, good burgers, salads and frosties. The fries have sea salt, good STUFF. Refills are available at no cost and self serve.

Such great attitudes from the employees we interacted with tonight. Humor, smiles, and the biggest part of it was it was genuine. Where you could feel they were great people, not just forcing it because it’s a rule. Also fast, and delivered great tasting food. Thanks. :)

The guy who took my order was super friendly. It's refreshing to walk in to a fast food restaurant and see crew that look like that actually like their job. As far as their food it's pretty good quality for as cheap as it is. I never have to wait long and my food is always hot and fresh.

Nice hot potato in less than 2 min from order placed, but forgot the extra butter I asked for. Very nice about. Another Wendys said they had to cook potato first at least 15 min after i ordered it.

Great got the number 11 they got my food to me very quickly considering there was a bus full of kids on the inside. Very friendly window, encountered two individuals that helped swiftly. One I assume was the manager and the other was a younger lady in her 20s I would say. Anyway great location, I come here often!

The manager Jett has some of the best customer service that I've seen especially from a fast food restaurant. She was very sweet, professional and went above and beyond for us when our order got mixed up. I hope that corporate sees these reviews because Jett deserves recognition and a raise for the way she represents not only herself, her team, the customers, the restaurant but the company Wendy's itself.

I love the baked potatoes!! Chilli is good too! Great salads and burgers too! The frosties are the best of all!! Wendy... strawberry frosties should be PERMANENTLY added to the menu!! Friendly, happy and smiling customer service!

Wendy's has the freshest quarter quality burger 🍔 Primo meat, and not just on the buns but also in the bowls of chili 😋 and the fries was the most crispy of all time 😋. I highly recommend Wendy's as the go to for quality burgers with fresh vegetables.

Clean location with friendly staff. Pricing is fairly competitive. The burger was fresh and of great quality. My French fries were fresh as well seasoned.

Stayed at Amarillo RV park for 2 days 3 nights I found the gift shop as a surprise did not expect it there. I found it well set up a whole lot of very nice items and I'm not one to usually shop but I did find a real nice CD display and bought two CDs highly recommend checking out this gift shop.

Service with the afternoon lead and crew was top-notch. My fries were a bit salty, but I'm a plain fries type of person. The sandwich was top-notch as well. I've never had the spicy parm chicken sandwich before and was super happy with it. This was the quickest walk-in experience with extremely fresh/hot food

Food's always great and feshly made, the staff is friendly and personable, the fountain drinks are stacked for the most part. The only thing I would change is the esthetics, they seem outdated and the seats are run down but that doesn't take away from the food that's never disappointed me!

I'm in love with the Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger! It is most delicious and just the right amount of everything! If you order it, ask for the munster cheese in place of the other it adds flavor to it!

The soda machine touch screen doesn't work very well and it is almost impossible for children to use, has an adult I could barely use it and I had to repeatedly jab the machine. The food was very fast hot fresh and on time I loved it I love the service we got.

Spicy chicken or any chicken sandwiches very fresh cook to order. I always have 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, nothing else, even those fries, are nice, very nice staff except for a week ago I went was a younger man and he was a bit rude didn't like that he was a new employee so it's all good!..

Well they don't always pay attention when you customize an item. So my order was wrong on Thursday night. But the GM was there Friday and she remade my order. Everything was good.

The salads were great! The service was fast! The restaurant was clean, there was duct tape on all the upholstered seats (not a good look). The staff was friendly and efficient.

This is hands down the best Wendy's in town. I also just generally love a wendy's. Not their fault but it's definitely a huge mistake taking the pretzel pub bacon burger and chicken sandwich off the menu. So until that changed it'll remain at 4 starts. Otherwise it would be 5.

I gave it a four because of the frosties got to love the frosties everything has changed on the food wise Yes still fresh burgers but the patties are smaller and I don't care if they say oh it's still quarter pound before weight or half pound before weight then why are the patties smaller on the button. Wendy's is like every fast food restaurant they're scrambling to keep people and when they get them they don't use them they're under managed understaffed and your food is so rushed it looks like crap when you get it. The atmosphere is poor that's all I can say it could be better and it can be worse that is why I got a three.

We came here for a brief lunch, and ordered several meals. There were plenty of seatings. The bathroom and tables was clean. It was not too busy. They had a drive through, but we decided to dine in. The food was pretty good. Overall, we did not have any major negative experience.

Went to the drive thru at 7pm and was told the computer was down and they couldn't take my order from the dive thru. Usually, very good food and service, though.

Just a bit slow. I don't care for there new chicken. I mean it's not bad but compared to there old one. But the baked Patatoe was delicious. Lobby & rest room was clean.

Food took a long while and service wasn't really responsive, although they did look short handed. My fries were really salty but my burger was on point. But things happen maybe next visit will be better?

Stopped for a quick lunch around 2:15 pm while passing through. It had snowed the day before. No snow had been removed from the parking lot and sidewalk in front of the door. Icy and slick in most places. Quite dangerous. We ordered two chilis and baked potatoes. When we picked up the order there were no spoons for the chili.When my husband asked the cashier for spoons she curtly replied they didn’t have any because the truck didn’t come because of the snow. Why didn’t they tell us this before the order was filled so we could have changed our order? The chili was much thinner than the typical Wendy’s chili. We had to crumble crackers in it to be able to eat it with a fork. The seats where we ate were torn up and duct taped. There was absolutely no heat and it was 30 degrees outside. It was freezing inside. The cashier said it wasn’t working. Not a typical Wendy’s experience. We would not stop at this Wendy’s again.

Fries were barely warm and old I asked for new and ended up with the same once "refried". Chocolate Frosty was empty in the middle/bottom of the cup. Not what I have come to expect from Wendy's.

I was the third person in line on my way home from work. Got here at 12 and 32 minutes later still in the drive through line. There were only three cars in front of me. I dont know what the deal is but this actually happens quiet often.

Apparently the drive-thru is for personal visits. As i pulled around from the speaker, the girl's husband got a few drinks ahead of a paying customer. The fries were stale, the chicken was cold and there was no meat in the chili. Lesson learned. Not in Amarillo!

Second time order a double burger no tomato no mustard to get home and have a single burger with both Tomatoes and mustard I wouldn't recommend this wendys hit the burger king or McDonald's next door hopefully the ross location opens back up soon

Credit card machine was down. Order taker was rude as hell and despite us having multiple orders kept rushing us buy assuming we didn't have anything else. There was only three of us. Very disappointing customer service experience.

Food was good, but the person at the register didn't know what they were doing. Took my coupon and added the amount back on and still charged me $1.98 more.

They were shorthanded, so service wS killing themselves to handle both in-house dining & drive-thru. That being said, the food was cold, as was the restaurant. They had no heat on & coats stayed on the entire time. Finally, when getting ketchup from the dispenser, because the night crew did not do their jobs correctly, the ketchup blew up all over me. I had ketchup from mid-chest to lower abdomen. Having to take this location off the list.

Got the biggie bag. Which should be a burger, drink, 3 piece nugget, and fries? I got the burger only… I also got a 6 piece ghost pepper nugget and only got 5…? Long story short just makes sure you have ALL of the things you paid for before you leave.

Me and my aunt stopped by to eat and the lobby was closed yet two employees were standing at the lobby doors laughing.thus we proceeded to the drive thru and the young man refused to take our order he said this location was closed yet on the website it says open

They don't accept doordash orders apparently, as every time I've tried they've canceled it with no explanation.

Have visited multiple times, with wrong orders everytime. If you are ordering more than one item, and they "pull you forward" check your bag cause odds are they forgot something.

I can't stand places that don't have a changing table in their bathrooms. It's one thing that most men's rooms don't have them, it is something else entirely when it is absent from the women's room as well.

Just went in to get lunch. I am gluten intolerant. I eat at Wendy's a lot, all over the US. I told the person at the counter that I am allergic to wheat and requested that the person making my sandwich to please change their gloves before they made my bunless sandwich. She told me that they don't have any wheat bread. I explained to her that all (regular) bread is made from wheat. She went over to her manager, who said that they don't have any wheat bread. I have eaten at this store before and did not have a problem. But today, evidently, asking them to change their gloves was too much. So I left with no food because I cannot put my health at risk for a restaurant that is too ignorant to understand a food allergy.

We ordered our son a kid's meal with a juice. We asked if the fruit punch had strawberry in it since our son is allergic. The lady said, "It's just fruit punch." We receive it and it has pictures of strawberries on it. We asked to exchange it for a water, they gave it to us and we pulled away. Then our son says the water is yucky. It was carbonated water! It's not a huge deal but I thought the employees were plainly idiotic.

All the tables where dirty, their was knats inside the ketchup pump.. It wasn't busy but they had no one cleaning the tables. The coke machine was out, the repair guy was their. Had to go to the counter to fill up the cups. The floor near the coke station was so sticky u could hear your shoes making noises. I live close by this Wendy's, I will be driving to the one near gem lake!!

Bought 3 jr. cheeseburgers for my kids and 1 mushroom burger for myself, the burger patties on all 4 were cooked on the outside and raw (extra pink) on the inside. The first bite tasted kid of funny so I had to look at my food 1 time but there's so much going on I couldn't really tell until I got almost halfway through my burger then I could fa sho see the raw and so here I am in my hotel bathroom leaving this review. I never did mess with Wendy back in California and now I see why the homies didn't really mess with her like that especially after somebody found a finger in the chili with the ring still on it though. Starting today I'll only mess with Wendy because she got that freestyle machine other than that I'm str8.

Worst Wendy's we've ever been too. Burgers were cold and under cooked. Out of fear of getting a more tainted burger for complaints we decided to just keep them. Totally upset our stomachs and employees were cussing and yelling out as we sat. Ketchup pump was empty and seemed like they were more polite to other people than us.

Has got to be the slowest service I've ever experienced in the drive thru and after about 10 mins of sitting in line we get to the window to see the employees just chatting away like nothing eles existed but their conversation overall it took us about 25 mins to get our food after ordering I don't think good ol Uncle Dave trained folks that way and these same folks are pushing to get paid 15 plus per hour come on people literally monkeys could do that job

They did not put bacon on my "Big Bacon Classic" burger. Their fries are never good, and the drive through cashiers are hit and miss, as far as politeness goes. They have been not caring about the quality of the food they're serving for months now.

Got food from here last night. The burger I had from here last night was the nastiest burger I've had from anywhere in a while. Fries were stale, brown, and cold.

This is the third time I order through the app, and it stinks, they always get the order wrong or miss items on it. Never going back to this place.

Horrible Wendy's. The bathroom had feces all over the toilet. No soap in the bathroom. The fries tasted like the we're cooked in burnt grease. I had diarrhea from the burger. Soft drink flat. Calling health department in Amarillo to report. Two weeks later no response from Amarillo Health Department. Disappointment.

Just got an apple salad at this wendy's and it was horrible. The chicken was bad and hard. The lettuce and veggies had NOT been washed. Tasted like the cardboard box they come in. Did not get my extra ranch and pecans. I will not go back here ever.. Ten bucks went in the trash

This place will serve you anything. They made us pull forward so they could make our food fresh. It finally came out to us at the front of the building it was old , cold . It was a complete waste of money. After 13 hours of work I was to tired to go back. Won't ever be back. They should close the store or fire all the help.

Hamburgers were awful even though they advertise fresh beef. The burgers tasted like they were fried in same grease as fish although I don't know if Wendy's even has fish items. Fries were mediocre also. Yuck!!

The floors were so extremely sticky EVERYWHERE but the carpet. My drink, no matter what I switched to, tasted moldy. Bathrooms out of top and dispenser broken. As far as customer service: they were all there to definately JUST get a paycheck. No friendliness. Food was ok.

Drive through people are always rude and do not listen well. They forgot to put my saucy nuggets in the bag so I had to go back up there and get them and when I got home I found a hair in it... Almost made me puke.

I ordered food the same thing I always order and the burgers were raw totally raw I immediately called and tell them about it and that I was keeping all the food and bringing it up to them. The manager told me no problem throw away the food just come up tomorrow and we will replace your whole order. I go up there the next day and they decide that even though none of my food was right the burgers are raw the french fries were cold, that they couldn't replace the whole order they could just give me partial of my order. I spent $45 did not get to eat any of the food and they said that they could not afford to replace my order and could only give me the burgers and not even made the way I wanted them just basic burgers not the bourbon burgers. If I pay $45 for food that I cannot eat and I tell you I'm bringing all the food back up and you tell me no don't bring it and then refuse to replace my order that's bad bad business on your part and you will not be getting any more of my money. By far the worst Wendy's in Amarillo.

Went in there last night to order and knew what I wanted., I looked up at the menu board long enough to get the number of what I wanted. I looked over at the cashier to order and she was starting to take the order of the group behind me. It couldn't have taken me more than ten seconds to get the number for my order. That was about the rudest experience I have ever had in a fast food place and I will not be back. The manager should be made aware of that experience.

Drive thru staff needs to improve costumer service skills. They make me unattended meanwhile they’re taking care of the people that come after me on the other line. And they make me wait even more time to get a chicken sandwich ready. Around 5:03-5:13 on Jun 28 if the manager wants to verify who was working on this shift.

This place is in desperate need of new management. The manager was very rude and interrupted every chance he had. No help what so ever. The DR pepper had no ice and was warm and flat. We asked the guy who bought out the food if they remembered the ghost pepper ranch, he was polite and said yes it was in there. It wasn't. The stuff is free so what's the problem? The jr. Bacon cheese burger had no bacon. The Cajun chicken sandwich was chicken, American cheese and mayonnaise and bread. Taco Bell down the street would've done better. Very frustrating.

I would give 0 stars if possible. This is the 2nd time I paid for a higher priced burger meal and got a value burger instead. I paid for 4 krabby patty meals. And received a small smashed burger with no lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, etc. I paid for a bacon double stack biggie bag and was not a slice of bacon on it. $55 down the drain. I was so upset I started taking the burgers from the kids to take back, but seeing the kids' tears and distress made me give them back. So I'm writing this review because it's pure ridiculousness. This visit was my first time at this location in a few months since they did this same thing before. I ordered a ghost pepper ranch chicken sandwich meal and a baconator meal. Again I was given a subpar value meal, chicken sandwich with a slice of lettuce on it (nothing else and a value meal cheese burger with no bacon. I did take those burgers back and because it was night and no traffic, unlike today. Even then, they tried to shorten us on giving the money back. This location never give receipts and I now know why. It all seem purposely done. I have posted a photo of the supposed krabby patty and bacon double stack

*long wait, cold fries, got our order completely wrong* Was asked to pull forward at the drive through because they were “waiting on fries”. Waited a good long while and they brought the order out with one fresh fry and the other cold, both burgers were all wrong, and they didn’t even give us straws.
