Bocadillos de siempre y de calidad. Además con las consumiciones ponen tapas generosas de oreja, zorza, ensaladilla (buenísima por cierto) Tiene muchas mesas fuera y dentro la barra y algunas mesas. Es pequeño, pero acogedor. Aunque siempre está bastante lleno (sobretodo si hay partidos) el personal no puede ser más atento y amable Me encanta este sitio!

It's the perfect place to enjoy a few beers accompanied by generous and delicious tapas, like pig's ear, potato salad, or Galician-style pork. What's more, their sandwiches, always prepared with care, are an irresistible and affordable option. Every time I visit Santiago, this bar becomes a must-stop, but when it's closed, my vacation just isn't the same; I feel like something's missing. Raíces Galegas combines great food, fantastic prices, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. On my last visit, for less than €13, I enjoyed two beers of cider with tapas and a Galician-style pork sandwich. It's hard to find such an authentic and affordable quality experience. If you're on a budget, this bar is a gem you can't miss.

We were strolling through the city and stopped here for a drink. It was a great decision. They serve a nice tapa with your drink. The food was very good and plentiful. The waiters were super friendly. Great value. They have seating both inside and outside. It's definitely worth coming here for a drink.

I was very happy until the last few days. The last two, they "forced" me to choose between two tapas, without giving me the opportunity to choose the empanada or the zorza, which they gave to the usual customers or whoever they wanted. I've been observing a lot of rushing, bad expressions (sorry if they're busy, but that shouldn't affect customer service), it must be because it's summer or holidays, but they also don't tell the "new" or "foreign" people what tapas they have. On top of that, they make you look like a fool when you tell them and they give you their explanations. There's no zorza, and then you see them give it to someone else. Very disappointed by certain attitudes... Long story short: they served me a cold, tough roast ham with potatoes. They reheated it, I suppose in a microwave, and I ate it to avoid further complaints. Tough, without any sauce... I don't know if it was just me, because another table served it and it looked freshly made and less tough. It also happens that, when ordering tapas like empanadas, the pieces they give me are tiny compared to those served at other tables, who, oh coincidentally, are men... it must be that women are less hungry... My waiters are very trusting, they tell you to relax while you wait for your tapa, in a rude way. There are ways of saying things. I don't like certain attitudes, and here they're guilty of a few. It's a cross and a line, not if there are three waiters and at 2:30 they're overwhelmed serving food and tapas, serving them to one person and another waiting, and on top of that they tell you to relax... turn off the light and let's go. Air, air,... I've lost my manners and customer service, and it can't be that at this point I have to put up with the arrogance of certain people... Putting up with rudeness, zero.
