Delicious food! We left with full tummies! We came here for the fish because it’s Friday and it’s Lent. I ordered the fish wrap and was surprised it came with 2. My daughter ordered the shrimp and Fish combo. Those shrimps were HUGE! The tartar sauce was delicious too! We were so hungry that I didn’t get to take a picture before we started to chow down!
Good experience. I got the fish and chips with onion rings and it hit the spot. The fish was big portions. It was Crispy and the inside fish was so yummy . I will definitely go back on my next trip to the packing house.
Great fish and chips at the Packing District Food Hall! The fish and chips were hot and crispy and came out quickly. The value is great here - 1 piece combo was a good size portion of fish, and you can order a beer/cider with the combo. The food hall has lots of great options, live music, and free parking... the only thing that can be tough is finding a table (especially with a large group). Bathrooms on the bottom floor.
Had the Grilled Chicken Basil Combo it was delicious! Great fries and sandwich. Couldn’t finished all of it, too much food. I highly recommended! my husband also loved it, could not stop talking about this plate. Well done Chippy!

Best Jambalaya & Fish & Chips I've ever experienced. The fish, along with malt vinegar, is awesome (light & perfect batter). The Jambalaya just have the right amount of spicy, and plenty of chicken & sausage... perfect to sooth the soul...
Loved It! Went on Friday around 4:30 & perfect timing because the entire packing house wasn't crowded. They only have One employee working until 6pm. I ordered the 3 piece fish and chips with 2 shrimp. I entertained myself by watching the guy freshly dip my fish. I was amazed at the size of the fish because it was bigger than I imagine, huge. The shrimp was not as big as some jumbo shrimp that I've had at other places but it was still good tastey. The batter was crispy and crunchy, and I was a happy camper. Needless to say, I will definitely be making this place a regular stop when craving fish and chips.
Been here a few times so far, the fish sandwich never disappoints, crispy and battered to perfection, the bun is always nicely toasted. Since it’s located inside the Anaheim Packing District the wait can be a bit longer at times; however, it’s to be expected due to its location. Good customer service.

It was hard to decide where to eat in this food mall. We chose the fish and chips from Chippy. There were three large fillets, moist and flaky with a crispy crust. Served with a tasty tartar sauce. The fries were ok, nothing remarkable about them. The food was pricy but portions were enough to share. Overall atmosphere is fun and festive.
It's my first time having Fried Fish and Fries. Of course, I had fried fish before and I can make pretty good fried fish by myself. I also had fries before, and I can make it at my 15, at that time KFC and McDonald's even didn't have restaurants in China. But, have them both together as a meal, it's my first time. Compare with the tasteless Lamb Curry I bought from ADYA in the same food court of Anaheim Packing District, the Fried Fish and Fries were much better than the curry. It's a $14.xx combo for two pcs fish, calamari, and fries that came with a soft fountain drink. The fish size was much bigger than my imagination, the batter was crispy and thin and the taste was good. Especially with the tartar sauce and another red sauce that I can't name but defiantly was not ketchup. The calamari was soft and the batter was also good, the only pity was that the foil of the squid hadn't been removed.
There are so many good food places, but I selected this while entering. They had a combo with drink but never mentioned it to me until after I bought an extra drink and full price. I tasted the food and it was salty. There are so many other good food places, avoid this one.
Calamari is pretty good but I didn't really like the cocktail sauce. It was almost like a ketchup. A marinara sauce would have been amazing.

The fish & chips from this place are delicious! It's a little pricey, but the portion size is pretty big. The staff was super friendly!

First time here to this place and first time eating at chippy’s. I had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone came out to the counter. You see this comment a couple times which proves that the lady that saw me walk to the register she walked away, never to be seen again. fortunately, the guy who was cooking the fish came up, took his gloves off and took my order. I end up having the fish with french fries and upon initial observation, it looked really really good large fish portion size but once I bit halfway through one piece of fish, I realized this is frozen fish and was very rubbery chewy and just wasn’t very good. I ended up finishing all because for what I paid for it I had to. I would go elsewhere for fried fish and get a hamburger or something else at this venue.

Good food. The gal behind the counter was terrible! She was so rude! Slamming down things, throwing food in the trash. I could see the other employees were visibly frightened and uncomfortable. The most unprofessional behavior I've ever seen! I will never go back there.
Heavy fried food, the batter leaves a lot to be desired. The fries are very bland. The calamari is rubbery and has a weird texture so I did not eat it. I have eaten here a few times, and it is nothing special, there are lots of other, better options in the Packing House.

Been here before and the food was alright. But during the lunch rush they out up a "back in a few sign" ....it was more than a few. Who just ieaves mid shift like that? This rating is based on a combination of food quality and service. Food quality 3. Service 1.
This is the place that shares the idea of mayonnaise being to spicy! Chippy lady made sure there's no spices added to anything in their restaurant. Bland, plain and flavorless. I think it's against their religion to use salt. I had to ask for lemon 🍋 malt vinegar, and the tartar sauce which is literally mayonnaise only. The chippy lady didn't want to add all of those to the plate initially. Home of plastic food.
It's alright. Personally, their food needs a bit more seasoning. I've ordered the fried fish three times already and it's always in need of some extra salt. Don't get me wrong the batter is nice and crispy, but the batter itself needs some seasoning. The shrimp po-boy sandwich can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the sandwich has tons of shrimp and sometimes there's hardly any. The calamari is good. The service is typically pretty bad, especially at night. The employees always have the, "I don't want to be here" attitude. Always give them at least ten minutes or more for your food to be ready. The location has potential, but so far it hasn't amazed me. .
I think the fish and chips here are excellent, but the service is 0/5. It is honestly really unfortunate because the fish and chips are huge for a fair price, but I dread going up the to counter everytime, because the same dark haired lady for years is so rude and unkind. She takes a very long time to come out to take the order in the first place, maybe she is also the cook? But always comes out with a bad attitude, to the degree where it is genuinely unpleasent doing buisness here. I've eaten here +5 times since they opened and everytime its the same girl and same bad service, the only thing that had me coming back was the food, but after this last time I'm over it. I noticed that there are other Chippy's in OC that I can go to and the Packing House is too competitive to put up with objectively bad service.

Awful all around. Completely forgot our order then gave us fried fish w raw batter. This place should be used for people who actually care.
Taste like cardboard, it’s just frozen food. Prices were incorrect.
