Toasted Tomato Pizza is fantastic! I had the Texan and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy crust with amazing flavor. Friendly staff and great service. Definitely my go-to pizza spot in and around Anderson, TX!
Atmosphere: Be sure not to take the roundabout fast because you might just miss it. Funny enough, when we came across the establishment, we saw what looked like an old prescription store with the word "DRUGS" up top, but then noticed the Toasted Tomato Pizzeria sign. Once we entered, you could definitely tell it was a prescription store, in which they used to their advantage to promote local vendors, by utilizing the older shelving. That in of itself was a great sight to see. The music was just at a great level to enjoy and still have the ability to communicate with others. Service: The server immediately greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted to. Upon looking at the menu, he offered some great recommendations, as well as portion size. Once we ordered our meal, he came to the table several times to ensure everything was good and was prompt about tending to us, seeing that there were also other customers in the establishment. Quality: Our appetizers consisted of the mozzarella sticks and southwest chicken eggrolls, which then followed up with our main entree...the Buffalo Chicken Alfredo personal pizza. The mozzarella sticks had just the right amount of crispiness and the mozzarella cooked to an appropriate texture. The southwest chicken eggrolls had so much flavor wrapped in its smaller portion size, and the ranch complimented the side really well. Onto the entree, although all of the specialty pizzas sounded amazing, we went ahead and ordered the personal (4 slices) Buffalo Chicken Alfredo. When I say this was an amazing pizza, that's putting it lightly. The crust was cooked to the right crispiness factor without burning it. The chicken breast chunks were great, and the amount of buffalo sauce was just the right amount to compliment the pizza. Becareful to grab the bottom of the pizza, other wise you may see all your toppings plop to your plate, but once you take your first bite, you may not want to put down the slice. Fili's Fave: I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Alfredo Pizza, and if you are ever in Navasota, feel free to come up the road to try this place out.
The food and service were great! I had mozzarella sticks and a supreme pizza, minus the pepperoni. A bit too much olives for my taste but they were easy to pick off. The pizza crust was absolutely Perfect.
We had to try the new pizza place in Anderson, and we were not disappointed! We had the carnivore, meatball sandwich and hot wings Great flavors and excellent service. The hostess/server/cashier, MacKenzy, was perfect. She checked on us but wasn't intrusive. We will definitely be back! Wonderful to have another eatery nearby
Ordered a Carnivore Pizzas 16" to go. Pizza was AWESOME. Crust was fresh and certainly tasty. Only wished it was sliced but I have a knife at home. 😁😁 #FattBoyApproved
My group got great food from a nice staff.
Great pizza and beer here. Texan couoiflpwer is fantastic and service is perfect.

Another great pizza! Great historic building and good food.
I absolutely loved the Cauliflower Crust Carnivore pizza I had at Toasted Tomato! The crust was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were so fresh. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The overall experience was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!
Service a little slow for not being busy when we dined in. Food is made to order so we did expect a small delay. Staff is very friendly. Food is good, we had the cauliflower crust pizza and they did a good job making the crust cripsy and fresh. Love the antique astmosphere. I hope this place makes it, if you are local, support them (even if it is to go), if you are traveling through Anderson, stop by and have a slice and an adult beverage. It is worth it.
My wife and I came here for dinner on our wedding anniversary and loved the food and atmosphere. Their pizza was especially delicious. It had a smoked taste as if it was grilled and the ingredients tasted fresh not frozen. We both agreed this was the best pizza we've ever had! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Everybody knows each other and us being from out of town didnt stop that southern hospitality from welcoming us in.
It was one of the few places open in the area and I'm so happy we stopped in. The food was amazing, the service was great and the environment was quaint and charming. We dinned in and would definitely suggest sitting down and enjoying the atmosphere. Great people and food! I highly recommend eating here. I will be back 😍
If you’re in the Anderson area PLEASE come try this place! The food is amazing, service is great, and the atmosphere and place is just cool all the way around! Love how they kept the integrity of the old pharmacy that was here many moons ago! We live an hour away and always make a point to stop in when we are in the area. Please come support this family owned and operated business! 🥰
If I could give ten stars I would. My group of ten showed up after our tour of Anderson along with several others in town for the stage coach rides and tour of Fanthorp Inn. We originally were the only ones and then it filled so fast. There was one cook and one server. Both young maybe teens or young adults. When I say those young people were amazing I mean it. They stayed so kind and got it all done in a timely manner and it was the best experience of in house dining I’ve had in a while. I love the town of Anderson, but you have a real gem there. Anytime I’m back or driving through I will most definitely stop by. And to the ones that handled that rush- I was serious when I said I would help you clean! 😆👏🏻👏🏻 Fantastic all the way around.
I ordered a side salad and a carnivore pizza to go. The salad was good. The ranch for it was absolutely fantastic. The pizza was great. The cheese had a nice pull on it and the pizza itself was packed full of flavor and meat. Will be going back
My husband and I took a drive out to Anderson on Saturday, and stopped in for lunch. Great pizza and one of the best Greek salads we've ever tasted. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had The Texan and a Supreme in personal size. I was skeptical about the Texan. However, it may be my new favorite pizza. The combination of flavors were perfect. Can't wait to go back.
After traveling all over the world, we can confidently say that Toasted Timato has set a new standard for the best pizza we've ever had. The pizza itself was absolutely exceptional - every bite was perfection. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Kenzie's outstanding hospitality. Her genuine warmth and attentive service matched the incredible quality of the food. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service exceed expectations so completely. We've already decided this will be our new go-to date night location. Thank you to the entire team at Toasted Timato's for an amazing evening. We'll definitely be back!
A few friends and I visited this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! Lily, our waitress, was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was in order. Her suggestions were perfect, not to mention her makeup was GORGEOUS it complemented her personality perfectly. Thanks to her, our dinner was even better. We will definitely come back soon!
I came in on a busy Friday night to grab some pizza to go and a young gentleman by the name of Jackson helped me carry my order to my car! Great service and wonderful delicious food!

Staff and atmosphere are very good. Pizza is good but a bit too doughy. Toppings are minimal, such as 3 slices of bell pepper on the whole pizza? Also, the toppings do not cover the outer edge of the pizza. I suggest filling the whole surface with plenty of toppings and offer a thin crust. For the higher price, customers expect a very complete pizza with lots of toppings and an option of thin crust.
Ordered a Cesar salad and got a house salad of some kind. Disappointed I spend 40 bucks and can’t get my meal right been here and have had great service lately the service has been below subpar. Wish they would do better.

The environment was way too loud for starters especially for the dinner rush. Got the wrong pizza sent out, then was told they didn’t have spinach to make a spinach pizza and that the cook didn’t tell the waitress until she went asked about it. Poor communication nothing was comped, I wasn’t asked if I wanted them to make something else instead just handed me the wrong food and oh well. Then when I went to pay for it was still charged for spinach I didn’t get. Took forever to get refills was here for nearly 2 hours. All I can say is wow. Won’t be back! It’s a real bad look to bring out food to someone not made correctly then be liked oh well and still attempt to charge them for it. Shame on you! Also called twice and left messages on voicemail, then left a call back request with staff to have management or ownership get the opportunity to correct this review no one has ever called me back!

If you have no help, just close! One kid working a room full of people was not okay. Not only did three sandwiches take almost 30min, but they were barely toasted and still ice cold in the middle. Subs taste better from Subway. This is our second bad experience here. And it was also shameful to see my sandwich (which came out later than the others) sitting in the kitchen while the two kitchen staff stood there and looked at me when I walked by not helping the poor kid who was getting no help!
