Wow. Updating my review now that they have a storefront instead of the food truck. Good is still fantastic but now there are places to sit. I count 7 tables plus some counter space at the front window. I ordered a pound of pulled pork and brisket to take home and was pleased that the sauce is optional. Sometimes the smoke is all you need.

The food is outstanding. Tastes great, juicy just the way good bbq is supposed to be. I wish the portions were a little larger for $22 bucks. The only negatives are honestly they dont offer plates with sides and everything is a la carte which makes the price way more expensive unnecessarily. Also they mostly just seem to want to be a takeout-only type place, i say this because the dining area is very unfriendly. Still an option to eat inside if you want though so thats nice at least to have the option. Bathrooms are great, overall good experience i will be back

I really like their angel wings, and their ribs aren’t too bad. I just wish they served beef ribs instead. The collard greens were good, and the mac & cheese and cornbread were pretty decent.

Lunch specials are great! Hard to find a decent meal for $10 these days. Went to the Raynham location. Angel wings were delicious. Coleslaw was very tangy like they used a lot of vinegar (not my favorite). Mac & cheese was ok. The pulled pork was pretty drt. Wouldn't have been so bad if they provided some bbq sauce but there wasn't any in the bag & I forgot to ask for it. Probably wouldn't drive from Stoughton again but would definitely swing by if I'm in the area. Give it a try!

This place has great service, food made with love and honest prices. The prices are a bit high but you know when you taste the love it is worth it. It has my wife's favorite brisket and that says a lot! The sides can be hit or miss but the meats never miss! They also have an amazing cornbread that I swear has a cake batter mixed in!! So good!!! I don't think I said it yet but it is made with LOVE and you can def taste it!!!

Went to order a dinner i always get which was around $17. I order a 2 meat which was $20 I gave them my two sides. The price was $34, I ask why they stated That they no longer do DINNERS and that everything was separate so the two meats were $20 and my two sides were $5.50 each plus .40 for using a credit/debit card to pay and the 7% meal tax. No where is it posted that they no longer do dinners and I said to the cashier you should tell people before they order to give them choices. I paid the amount do to I had already ordered and didn't want to be ignorant in canceling, but I would really think about if I will patronize them again.

We went there because we read reviews that said the fried chicken was good. The place was like an oven and smelled like a frialator. Our fried chicken took about 45 minutes. It was brutal. I suppose if we ordered ahead of time it may have been okay, but to think they would make dine-in customers wait that long is crazy.

The food is amazing been eating here for years but I can no longer ignore the HORRIBLE customer service. This is a “BBQ” food place that if you order 90 dollars worth of BBQ apparently your only allowed one bbq sauce for all of that???? If you want more you have to pay extra and if you ask them about extra there is a chance you will be screamed at for thinking you should have more than 1 bbq sauce for 90 DOLLARS WORTH OF BBQ. This is a bbq restaurant is it not?? Almost every encounter with this place seems completely unfriendly

I don’t know who answered the phone a few minutes ago but whoever did is absolutely rude as hell. I am traveling from Rhode Island to meet a friend at kinfolks for lunch. I called to place an order a head of time so the food would be done by the time we get there. When the person answered the phone they told me that they don’t open until 12pm. I was in the middle of asking if I can place an order ahead of time and I got hung up on. Well let’s just say you now have lost a customer for life. I will never revisit this establishment again.

I don’t usually leave reviews unless the food was so bad I have to worn future customers. This was the case! I tried the Monday 6$ special comes with 6 peices of fried chicken and 2 sides I picked the mac and potatoe salad. The chicken was super under cooked!!! I had to take it home and put it in the oven for about 30mins. The Mac was tasteless and cold and the potatoe salad was awful and tasted like pure mustard. I would have been super upset if I paid full price for this meal and I also drove 20mins to get here because the food went right into the garbage.the food also took 45 mins. The corn bread was also tasteless and super dry! Idk how this place stays open maybe because they are in tauton where no southern people actually live :(

Disappointed! Made a special trip up to try this place out after hearing all the hype. I walked in got inline, only one person I n front of me, placed my order, small in my eyes, just the special and another meat and the sides included, 20 mins was told. Gave my name and started the wait, no big deal been in way longer lines. They were definitely busy so was a good sign food was going to be good. Plenty of people came and went, got that, online orders, the line was getting bigger for walk ins, wasn’t a big deal lots of pick up orders. Then I started to notice people that had placed orders after me were getting there food, asked about it bc now we’re about 1/2 in, at the. 45min mark gentleman ask the people waiting there names, skips me and goes back proceeds to fill orders finally about an hour into my wait a guy comes in places his order in and out 5 mins ask what’s up with mine no one knows a thing about my order. Gentleman ask me again from behind counter what my order was says no worries I got you 6 mins, in the meantime they continue to fill orders just not mine bc they have food to fulfill those orders. I ask for my money back no fuss just if you can fill those orders and not mine then I’m out They basically lost my order even though I stood there the whole time. In defense they did give me my money back (I had already tipped more than I ended up getting back) but appreciate the gentleman offering me my money back and he even doubled it, in my view the extra money is not mine though appreciated I put it back in the tip jar, enjoy the $20 back. Unable to comment on food bc I never ended up getting any.

The ribs were extremely tough to eat, it wasn’t tender at all. The brisket would’ve been better if they didn’t serve it to us cold. The pull pork was just awful, extremely dry, and no bbq sauce was on it. I’m not understanding how this is a “bbq” restaurant, but no bbq was on the food? I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who actually wants bbq sauce to be served on the meats. The collard greens lacked flavor, but the Mac n cheese was solid. Cornbread was also very dry and cold. This is definitely not an award winning restaurant.

I’m starting to think kinfolks lost its touch …the collards greens was sweet like they put sugar in it yuck, the fried fish and shrimp not seasoned, very blan and the Mac n cheese was super dry …felt like I wasted my money very disappointing

This review I'm so sorry I have too because I'm so pissed! I ordered this food online at 5:30 for pick up! My husband works up there & was off at 6:30 & it still wasn't ready, he had to wait ANOTHER 30 min! So an hour and a half for 2 meals is INSANE!!!! On top of that they didn't follow the directions online so when he came home (an HOUR AWAY) from kinfolk I'm super dissatisfied! They put NO BBQ sauce in the bags which I asked for & I placed the order for RIBS! I need the BBQ! The ribs are delicious I will say that I do LOVE the food BUT tonight was a total miss! The corn bread both pieces are SO OLD they are crumbling before I pick up! They taste old, no BBQ sauce & the Hour and a half wait! Like I said the food is pretty damn good but the misses tonight really turned me off! $50 for 2 meals and all of those mishaps
