The Fish and Chips were nothing short of AMAZING! BIG, FRESH, NON-GREASY, THICK pieces of amazingness!!!! Even my Fish and Chips snobby parents who live in Monterey County were writing to each other about it, as they visited me individually! I’ve enjoyed APD’s Pest Turkey sandwiches, salads and Out n’ About Burgers and they are consistently out of this world. This is a must stop for locals and visitors alike. No “chance taking here! The photo was the last piece of our 3 piece meal. So much, we couldn’t finish, even being so delicious, our bellies are full!

A friend flew in from LA for my birthday. I gave some consideration to Larrupin, but landed on an Arcata Plaza-on-a-weekend-night as a more representative experience. APD was great for both of us the first night. The second night, it was twice as nice. They is is local and organic ingredients and products when able and stated, they cater to any dietary preference and dish out ample portions. My favorite is the Adam's sandwich and I feel like it's a vegetarian or vegan form of comfort food. He had first had the Philly Cheese Steak and next, French Dip. I did the Adam sandwich with tofu both nights. No regrets.

Me and the crew found this hole in the wall place, lost, cold, and hungry. Very warm and welcoming place to grab a quick slice of pizza or to sit and relax to enjoy a club sandwich! Beer on tap and awesome art on the walls!! Will defiantly visit again! 💯

Great food. Visited with my family. All 7 of us loved eating here. We had fish and chips, sandwiches and pizza. The tomato basil soup was worthy of 5 Michelin stars! Great vibes inside. Truly a lost coast authentic eatery.

The pizza is greasy, but the dough is good! I feel a little guilty eating such a greasy pizza, but I always love a good dough! I always judge a place based on their dough quality (at least the last bite has to be good). Good quality cheese & pepperoni! 👌🏼 🍕

Philly cheesesteak #3 was really tasty, meat was tender, came out hot and fresh and respectable portion. Pizza only comes in one size which i didn't care for much. It was a little flat, not many pepperoni and a bit greasy. Greasy comes with a pepperoni pizza anywhere so no hate on that really. Seating is limited and a little cramped. Only real complaint but it's not even the restaurants fault but I feel like people should know is everyone in that place stunk. Many people in this county do not believe in deodorant or frequent showers.

Food is quite good, they have great pizza and sandwiches! They give large proportions! So that is always a plus! Waits can be long, so come on the earlier side. Also call ahead to see what wait times are like!

We were surprised to receive our pizza with all the toppings added after the pizza had been cooked. Ham, pineapple, tomatoes…all cold on top. It wasn’t BAD, but it was unexpected and would have been better if it was all cooked together. Ya know? Atmosphere was fine, but we could barely hear each other talking over the staff talking to each one another. As far as staff: they were awesome. Friendly, accommodating, lovely.

The place is nice, just DO NOT ORDER BURGERS OR FRIES, the fries are just ok but overpriced. After trying all possible burgers in Canada, Mexico and USA, there are the worst. 12 bucks for a teen burguer, without taste, the avocado inside wasn’t fresh

Heard great word about their pizza so I went to order vegan one today! Their white pizza comes without cheese 😵‍💫 no plant based cheese add-on option in the offer. Why?? Disappointed team doesnt care to feed vegans enough to offer plant based cheese as this place used to…

What the heck happened to their Margherita pie?? 😭 I've always really enjoyed APD's Margherita pie—and appreciate that this is one of the relatively uncommon joints where it's even a menu offering—but this looks absolutely NOTHING like the advertised photo (picture #2) nor comparable to anything I've received in various past orders here. The tomatoes here are thick, uncooked, and seemingly thrown on top as afterthoughts, while the cheese slices look laughably cheap and hardly cover a cumulative ~60% of the pizza. You missed a spot, y'all! At the very least, the experience wasn't entirely inoffensive thanks to the still well-crafted crust (though it's plausible to worry when they'll cut corners on this, too) and natural pleasant potency of fresh basil... these ingredients will always go well together even at their worst, but that's a really unfortunate way to feel about a $40 delivery from a (formerly) reputable local favorite!! If this is how APD does their pizza now... fine, I guess, but I certainly would have considered my patronage differently had I known. This just isn't the standard I've come to expect from APD. Guess it's time to hunt down a new favorite Margherita pie :(
