I LOVE Jimmy's. Everything is good. I think they changed where they got the food from.. bc the burgers taste a little bit different.. I liked the old ones better! But still good. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Been going to this place for over 20 years. Delicious juicy burgers. The best thick cut fries. Chili cheese fries are so good too! The menu hasn't changed the whole time either. When my girlfriend and I visit, we make plans to stop here for a meal. Totally worth the drive. If you're in town, definitely a place to stop by. If you live in the area, you have to visit this place.

Me and my spouse had 2 breakfast burritos. They were delicious. I loved the hash browns, with the melted cheese, bacon and egg. I’ll def come here again. They do add hot sauce and they’ll put it on the side. It’s great.

It's a bit difficult to review Jimmy's. I've been a fan of this place since I was 9. I thank my sister for that. I am close to 36 now, and it has never EVER disappointed me. Bfast burritos are the best. Burgers are perfect. Chili cheese fries are something else. I am sure they add some sort of incantation in the back kitchen. They are devine. Pastrami, sure. Load it up. It's amazing. Get there. Quick! You will not be disappointed. BTW. Jimmy has seen me as a kid, and now he sees my kid. It's generational. He runs a tight ship.

Super versatile place with a whole lot more than burgers, they have awesome Mexican dishes, fish and chips, gyros, omelettes, etc. staff were very welcoming and friendly. I am excited to visits again and explore more of the menu.

This is by far the best burger spot in the valley! Try the bacon double cheeseburger! It's huge, hubby and I will split that and a small chili cheese fries and it's perfect for lunch.

We've been going to Jimmy's for years. My daughter who got married and now lives in Long Beach said she cannot find a place like Jimmy's anywhere near where she lives. So when she and her husband visit we visit Jimmy's. Her husband loves it too!

Called in a large order on my way to work, and they had it ready very quickly. The service was friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were good.

Jimmy’s is just kind of a ‘joint’ - food is plentiful and good. They do a great carry out business we witnessed when we were there. Staff is very nice - we ate there 4 times in a recent week’s visit. It was close to our hotel and better than anything else nearby. We were in north Hollywood/Burbank area but there are other Jimmy’s all over. Highly recommend for a very casual meal.

Came here for burger day a few days back and I was mega surprised with how good the burger was! The vegetables on the burger were super fresh and tasty and the bun held up well to the usual burger messiness. Fries were super good too, I saw there was a seasoning shaker on the table while I waited so I’ll be sure to dump some on next time I come through.

A landmark of NoHo, this indie burger joint has been around for ages and for good reason, their food is delicious! I’ve come here a few times and I like to get the avocado burger. It’s not a cash only establishment but I do recommend bringing cash, they charge extra for card payments

Been coming to Jimmy’s since 2020. Glad to see it made it out of the pandemic and stayed family owned. My go too are the breakfast burritos. Typical order is carne asada with 4 extra sausages. Their burgers are also charred and taste amazing! Def recommended stopping by for either breakfast or lunch.

Jimmy’s Big Burger delivered exactly what I was hoping for — juicy patties, fresh toppings, and great flavor. Portions were generous and everything came out hot. Solid spot for a satisfying burger. The employee doesn’t treat you like customer, they treat you like family, come in and enjoy the vibe.

I always try the hamburger special at any new restaurant that I’ve never been to before. Opening a burger with a thousand island soaked bun looking like this is always a good sign. Fries were fried to perfection. Glad i checked my bag for my side of thousand island before leaving. Over all great taste. I’ll be trying the avocado bacon burger next.

Love this place. Been frequenting it off and on since 2014. Didn't know they started accepting cards four years ago and this makes me happier. My old boss would order our breakfast burritos from this place since 2014 in mass quantities. Really nice staff and still have excellent, LOADED burritos! Their salsa is fire. Reasonable prices and SMILES at 7 am. Love these folks!

Ordered Double Cheeseburger combos. Burgers were super tasty! Homemade 1000 island sauce, mine was loaded, I loved it. Nice charbroiled patties, lettuce, tomato, and onions were fresh. Shredded lettuce, I prefer leaves, but it was good. Fries were good, not much seasoning, but good. They serve unsweetened peach tea, it was really good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food came pretty quick. I didnt see they offered a Colossal Pastrami Burger...I'm getting it next time.

This burger joint has it all. This was my first time, but I'd like to come back for their breakfast or taquitos. The burger was one of those great diner type patties that has the perfect amount of flavor. The chili cheese fries were crispy, the chili was thick and hearty, and probably could've used some chopped onions if you like that sort of thing.

Came by for a quick lunch, picked up a bacon cheese burger and it was good, the fries on the other hand were not the best as they were rather bland. The valley definitely needs more mom and pop burger shops.

I heard a lot about this place. The burgers were good and well-priced. Service was fast. If I’m in the area again and in the mood for burgers, I might stop again. Not a “destination” burger place like Bill’s Burgers though.

It was very clean. It was a surprise if there was no seasoning on your French fries. But I guess that is pretty cool. Basically white boys bringing back the hamburger is a staple of San Fernando Valley also known as Southern California

The food is amazingly tasty. The only reason I didn't hit the fifth star is because the guys being the register are either severely depressed or can't wait for me to leave in order to crack another beer open. I had a staring contest with the guy after I walked in as I waited for a greeting. After he grunted at me a few times I was the one who decided to greet him first.

I could of swore i wrote a review for this place. Oh well. I think this is the first literal resturant i attended that i can remember when I use to live on Lankershim. It was like a 10 minute walk from what I can remember. When im feeling some char broiled Cheeseburgers and when I am in the area. Ill come here. Once in a blue moon when the need comes. This is the spot for old school burgers. I think its the same receipe for like 30 plus years. Food: I usually get the Double cheese burgers or the chili cheese burgers. Be careful, this is on the heavier food coma side but to me worth it. I dont feel absolutly terrible compard to a like a jack in the box or carls jr. Fries plenty, i think they are normal fries. I cant even describe now that i think about it. Ranch is like 50 cents i think. I think their chilil is fantastic, really mom and pop style.

Burgers, fries, and a Coke is all I had there and only been there the one time. I went on a regular work day lunch and as expected it was busy. Seating was limited but eventually got one. That is my only criticism. Could do with a little more Seating. There was room for it but I'm sure it's probably because of the big bad flu that's going had something to do with it. The burger was a dbl. Veggies were fresh and tasty along with a fresh bun. The fries were crisp tasty and crunchy outside. The combo came with a refillable drink. I paid more and got less at the Dennys down the street.

This is a good ol' fashioned diner and staple of the San Fernando Valley. Jimmy's has been around for a very long time! They have a big menu and their prices are super reasonable. Nothing like some comfort food! I've ordered fries, burgers and sandwiches from here and they've all been delicious! The staff is attentive and friendly, and there is always ample parking available. Word to the wise: this place is old school and is CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM available inside, but honestly who wants to pay those extra fees? Come prepared with your cash and come hungry! They serve up big portions. Side note: NO public restroom available at all. Plenty of free on-site and street parking.

Love a good San Fernando Valley Burger spot and this is one of the best. The Pastrami sandwich is choice AF.

Great chili cheese fries, best in town! Had to go down to 3 stars since they seem to ignore the phone a lot lately when I try to place an order for pick up. Been trying for 45 minutes this time, bet they lose a lot of orders this way, I know I've gone elsewhere on multiple occasions.

I went to try the Rueben but that was a mistake - really thick sliced pastrami with lots of fat, hardly any kraut and no cheese. Good thing I got a burger too otherwise I’d be giving just 1 star. Cheeseburger gets 4.

Used to love this place for their breakfast burritos but the last time i was there the burrito loosened my stomach and gave me severe stomach pain. The burger is pretty solid but they have those awful big thick fries. The fries tasted underdone but that kind always does, anyway I had them smother it in chili and cheese and I don't think it improved the situation at all. The chocolate milkshake was also meh, thin enough to drink through one of those flimsy soda straws.

Old school feel when you walk in. Tried ordering a chili cheese burger but they misunderstood me and ended up with just a cheese burger (I only paid for a cheeseburger and also I mumble so I can't blame the lady at the counter ) I also got an order of onion rings. The food came quick which was nice. The onion rings order was insane. A full back of onion rings is what was given. The onion rings were crispy but over cooked and the amount of grease was insane! I'm talking bag soaked and stain on the car seat greasy. Bad greasy. The burger was huge, bread was nice and the fixings were good but the patty was obviously a store bought frozen patty which wasn't seasoned well. I am told that the breakfast burritos are amazing and can't wait to try them. Look my experience wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. I will definitely try this place again and probably order the same thing a couple more times. Just know what you're ordering and think of this as elevated fast food

Went to this place today The burgers are delicious fries are the best BUT the vanilla milkshake was water down it tasted more like milk than vanilla. the guy went cheap on my milkshake. also prices are a bit high for my choice $23 for a 2 regular burgers with fries and shake combo. i would not brag about it but the milkshake brought it from a 5 star to a 3 star rating. ill be back and give them a second chance.

I had the taquitos. I opened the container and it was the most unappetizing presentation that I looked at my friend and he said. "I'm sorry". The beans had absolutely no seasoning or cheese, The 4 taquitos were mushy and came with a runny guac water. I don't expect a gourmet meal at a place like this but for $12 that was the most disappointing meal I've had in quite a long time. Service was great though. Friendly staff.

It was ok. Honestly it was a little over priced. Their fries and chilly cheese fries where under seasoned. They only take cash which was kind of a drag. I though it would be like Tams from LA but I was very dissatisfied. They dont have family packs either so you have to buy each combo individually.

When I did my research on this place, I thought it was THEE SPOT for breakfast burritos but after trying it... it's a bunch of mashed potatoes and barely any bacon or egg...... for my first time trying this place, I am super dissapointed.... FAIR WARNING Order to dine in so they make their food quality better and then ask it to go otherwise theyll scam you for your money.... the green salsa needs more flavor.... all you taste is the tomatillos and jalapeños, needs flavor....

I visited the place like 9pm and employees where very unorganized. Had to let them know about my order twice. When my order was finally completed it was handed to me to take even though i had not yet payed for it. I didn't want to just take it so i made the employee aware of him not charging me. As far as the food goes i had a pastrami burger that was just ok, the zucchini was mediocre and fries where luke warm. Not what i was expecting.

I've been coming to this place for 14yrs, but no longer after today. Let me tell you why......Want to know what's not the best? The obnoxious over middle aged white guy who is unhappy he got stuck with the family business and has zero stress management skills and takes it out on people around him. I think he was the owner's son. (R.I.P., place hasn't been the same since) I've seen him be short with people on numerous occasions, raise his voice at the cooks, and today they lost my business. In attempting to place the same order I always do on Saturday mornings, I was met with him cutting me off repeatedly, not letting me explain but instead mansplain his thought process about the food I was ordering, and a condescending "I guess I don't know what I'm talking about" remark when I asked for something to be left a little longer on the grill FOR MY PREFERENCE, ya know, the one who is paying. I hung up and immediately got the ICK and didn't feel comfortable eating from there. He has full access to the kitchen, who knows if that bad energy would have resulted in something happening to my food. I'm good, my guy. I called back and cancelled. DO NOT waste your time or money here, they exist for pure convenience now NOT quality, in food or service as a whole. If you all want to stay in business, he needs to get out of the front of the restaurant and kitchen STAT. It's bad juju. Their food is hit or miss except for their double bacon avocado cheeseburger and breakfast burritos; they are the best in the valley. So it's sad I have to find another place now.

Absolutely terrible drove a long way for this spot that I used to come to back in the day just for the food to be disgusting it’s not the same like before. I ordered burgers and chili cheese fries, I asked no pickle on the burger pickles were added, there was a hair on my burger paper wrap, & my chili cheese fries weren’t even fresh tasted like they’ve been sitting there for a while. Only good thing was the soda paid $30 and honestly a regular fast food restaurant would’ve been better don’t waste your time here.

Don’t buy from here. I’ve been coming to this spot for a while and never had an issue with this place until today 01/05/2026 and I have video recording of this. Called jimmys to place a pick up order. Immediately, the guy picked up and said, “what do you want?” When I asked why he would say that he said “no I said jinnys burger” with a hostile tone. I placed my order for two combos, a small chili cheese and ranch. When I arrived to pick up he said “two combos, right?” I said , “and the chili cheese and ranch” he said “a scoop right” I said no. He got hostile and said “I asked you on the phone if you wanted a scoop and you said yes” already arguing with me I didn’t want to argue so I said “okay my fault can I get the small side of chili cheese” he sighed really loud, started shaking his head and making annoyed faces. First, I am PAYING customer, why are you answering the phone so rude and then give me attitude for adding a Chili cheese. I am not replacing the meals, I am adding the chili cheese because I didn’t want to argue with the guy for his error. I video recorded all this because I was still taken aback from the way he answered the phone. Will not be coming back and I hope management can help him with his attitude. If it weren’t for his PAYINGA CUSTOMERS he wouldn’t even be having the place. Please do better with your customer service. And, this was all at 6pm so this wasn’t even close to closing hours.
