Sweetest local little coffee shop! It's quite small, so there is not much for indoor seating. However it's in a great area right outside downtown fort worth where you can walk around and enjoy little shops. And they have a walk up window, which is SO cool. Their prices are THE BEST, and the quality of their customer care, coffee, and snacks is tip top. Would 10/10 recommend and prefer supporting a local coffee shop over Starbucks any day.
Today was their first official day open. I came in for a cappuccino and was not disappointed. Their association with Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters is great because you know they will have great quality coffee every time. The cappuccino was very good and the atmosphere is pleasant and would be a good space to either go alone or with a friend. Spoke with Aaron the co-owner for a while and I know they will be a great addition to the Race Street community. They have room for 3 beer taps, and they plan on putting craft beer on tap once they have established themselves and a good customer base. Will definitely be coming back soon.
My first time here, I got a matcha oat milk late, and two $1 cookies as I came in right near closing time. Matcha was very matcha-y and not under portioned. I can’t wait to come back and try their coffee options
Great space with local art on the walls. Friendly service and great coffee!
Love this place, always great service and the Purple Rain is next level!
Perfect latte! Can’t wait to come back and try the sourdough.
What a fantastic third wave, craft shop! Extremely knowledgeable baristas, and some of the best espresso you'll find in DFW. I had an excellent decaf pour over- light and tea-like. Very enjoyable. I had an Ethiopian single origin shot that was second to none. They do a great job dialing in! LOVE ME SOME RACE STREET!
Race Street is definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. The baristas are always very friendly and the coffee is really good. Pictured here is the spro sparkler which is an iced americano made with fizzy water and vanilla. If you want a snack they have some non-vegan pastries and the most delicious avocado toast on fresh baked sourdough. Only rough thing here is that they are closed on Sundays and don't offer wifi.
This coffee shop is adorable. Only thing is that there is no wifi. Aside from that it’s too cute! I’ve tried a variety of items on their seasonal menus and the drinks never disappoint. Bring your own cup for a $1 off!
Great spot for a morning coffee and a small bite! They have outside seating that is so chill for those lucky Texas mornings when it hasn't hit 100 degrees just yet. Love to stop by when in the area!
They really make great coffee and personable as well!! Love their spin on iced mocha .
First visit! Wonderful staff and great environment. Got my coffee to go but would be a great spot to enjoy a coffee. Will be back!
Hands down the best local coffee shop in Fort Worth. They’re bright and friendly to everybody and genuinely get to know their customers. The environment is small but not claustrophobic, and ambience is warm and inviting. Highly recommend anything from their menu. Go!
Delicious seasonal latte. Breakfast sausage kolache was so yummy…get two as one is not enough! Friendly staff.
Came in for there earl grey matcha and it was delicious! Very delightful atmosphere and sweet workers! Will definitely be back!
I’ve lived in the area for years now but have never gone to race st coffee…until now. And I can safely say I will be back. The pistachio matcha was AMAZING, perfectly blended and I could tell their matcha was higher quality than some places. 10/10!
Honestly the best coffee I’ve had in DFW. It’s like being transported back to SoCal with the vibes and good Joe. I haven’t had a single drink off the menu that wasn’t excellent. Inside seating is limited but there is a larger garden/outdoor area. Parking is also limited, but there is parking along the street.
This is my go to for a hot latte. I love this little quiet spot. On a good eclectic street, good for a walk.
We love everything about this coffee shop. The coffee is to die for. It's so so good. We usually just get a half and half latte with the monk fruit sweetener which is just the best coffee ever. It has the most incredible flavor the baristas just Excel at what they do and the vibe is super chill. Everybody seems super happy to be there. Plus they have local milk that you can buy. Just overall what you want a coffee shop to be. I love this place and I will come back to this place over and over again.
Great medium cold dirty chai tea latte with dairy milk (more spicy than sweet). Cold drinks “for here” are served in Mason jars, hot drinks in Race Street branded mugs unless otherwise specified. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Greatly enjoyed my first time! (Good company helps.)
Love this place. quality coffee. solid food. great atmosphere. especially when it's full of friends. MAJOR tip. bring in your own 12 oz cup and get the brewed coffee in a pinch. quick, affordable and good.
Delicious single origin and house blend espresso too. The sourdough toast is made just right with the homemade butter and jam.
I’ve had coffee all around the world and I’m proud to call this my hometown coffee shop. High quality specialty coffee prepared exceptionally and consistently, using low temp pasteurized grass-fed dairy, house made syrups (they even have a monk fruit syrup that ISNT cut with erythritol!), and excellent small eats. Happy Race Street Wednesday!!!! 🏎️ ☕️
This little gem of a place not only serves up great coffee, but it also serves up great service too. It’s quaint. Perfect place to study. And plenty to sip on and caffeinate. The cold brew was definitely on point. And they have a really nice array of take home whole bean oak cliff coffee.
Phenomenal service, baristas are better than avoca and sbux they have genuine conversations with customers Very clean location Baristas warmed my tea cup without asking Which is incredibly thoughtful for serious tea drinkers Ordered full leaf pearl jazmine green tea with a side of honey - which is off menu but they kindly made the tea selection available Roomy seating inside and outside Good place for studying because of the spacious tables Friend ordered matcha late Only complaint is the price But I get it, boutique tea/coffee is expensive Coffee grinders are also a bit loud for a small venue
Race Street is always a treat, and now that I'm right down the street, I'll be in a lot more often. A perk of my recent move for sure! Well dialed craft coffee (I enjoyed an oat milk cortado and two excellent mugs of drip), delicious food when I need a snack, comfy chairs… how could one leave?
Oh how I love this little shop! It is right next to my doctor office and I would go here to get a treat during my pregnancy and now take my son before his pediatrician appointments! The staff are so nice and the atmosphere is unmatched. I love the von riverside hot! The espresso is done so well and the soft boiled eggs are also freaking delicious. Such a vibe, love so so much!
My husband and I live in the neighborhood near Race Street Coffee and we come in from time to time to get drip coffee and pastries. We love to make our own coffee at home but we both get excited whenever we run out of beans and get to go get coffee from Race Street ◡̈ the drip is always so tasty and the pastries never disappoint! Best neighborhood coffee shop 🤍
Probably the best latte I've had in DFW. Perfect warm temperature, extremely creamy and powerful flavor. Just be aware of your surroundings when parking. It's kind of sketchy around.
Loved my experience here. The coffee is incredible and smooth. I highly recommend all of the espresso drinks here. The matcha is also very good and ceremonial grade. This is definitely one of the best coffee shops in the DFW area.
I love their mocha iced coffee even if it's a bit too strong I still like it
Local coffee shop. I walk here almost daily. Seasonal offering make for a good change of pace from your regular latte. Priced competitively. For Fall try the Sweater Weather. For Spring try the Purple Rain. The Apple Spice pop tart will bring you back if nothing else does. Another favorite is the Honey Buddy that has sliced apples and honey butter on toasted sourdough with a splash of cinnamon and sugar on top. Scones are always good. The patio area is charming and offer seasonal spaces to sit and enjoy conversation. The safe is exceptionally knowledgeable about coffee and can help with selections. I think the number one job requirement to work at a Race Street Coffee is that you must just be a nice person. EVERYONE who works here is nice and makes you leave feeling like you just visited friends. ❤️❤️❤️
Holy shoot. If you really need a caffeine boost, get this coffee! I asked after this experience if they offer decaf espresso and, thankfully, they do. There was a time in my life where I could handle the buzz, but this specific latte raised my blood pressure and heart rate an almost dangerous amount. Love the flavor - got the lavender latte with oat milk. Also, fresh made bagels by Birdy’s Bagels on Saturdays makes the trip very worthwhile! Thanks guys!
Instagram sent me to a coffee shop where I ordered a salted caramel coffee, and my friend got a honey bush tea. The shop is nice and spacious, with excellent customer service. They have a beautiful outdoor patio filled with flowers and host a hobby night every Thursday. We discovered this because I was coloring and my friend was painting. I'm looking forward to visiting again, hopefully with my pop-up!
this has to be one of the best coffee places I’ve ever been to. once you walk in you feel like you’re being hugged by the warmth of the pastries and coffee! the barista Bex who made my drink is awesome. she has that goth and the 2000s emo phase that she never gotten over look about her. you can tell she knew what she was doing! she was super welcoming and i will 100% come back again, and maybe wear a Pierce the Veil shirt to show that I also have some edge like she does 😛🤟
So so cute. This is a cozy coffeeshop that I would bring everyone too. Prices are perfect for a small coffee shop. Wish they were open later but I'll take what I can get. I love the outdoor space. Only got a chai and it was 10/10. Will try matcha next time!
One of the best lattes I've ever had, and very friendly service. I ordered the seasonal latte with an extra shot of espresso and it had a great balance of espresso flavor and slightly sweet and creamy.
This shop is so intriguing to me. The coffee is always phenomenal. Genuinely some of the most consistent and balanced espresso you can get. I just don’t love the service. The handful of times that I’ve been here the baristas aren’t the warmest. The coffee is always great which makes up for it, but outside of this guy Lucas (I think that was his name), I haven’t experienced all that much hospitality there. No one is ever mean, but again, just not a super friendly place. Still top tier though if you enjoy great coffee.
The smell when you walk in is heavenly. The service is with a smile and the little patio out back is perfect for a quiet coffee break. I took my avocado toast back to my desk with my delicious moca coffee after a great service experience. Thought I would share that this little cool coffee house is a place to put on your list and worth the drive even if you are in downtown Fort Worth.
Tried this coffee shop after seeing it mentioned on a list of great places in Fort Worth and WOW! I regret that we haven’t been here before because of all the awesome coffee we’ve been missing out on! The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and they were kid friendly with coloring books and such for anyone to use.
7.4.2025 was happy due to this place. Their strawberry matcha and salted caramel latte were sooo goooood. Their latte was warm + little hot, which is a perfect temperature for human to drink and i was able to taste salt -> caramel -> latte order. Matcha strawberry was so gooood. Idk how to explain further but it’s goood
Super lovely place! I can't wait to visit again. My boyfriend had the sweater weather latte iced super delicious not too sweet well balanced & I had the lavender latte hot the milk was steamed to perfection super warm creamy & cozy 🫶 I loved seeing the children's artwork a joy to admire along with the stunning live plants all around their baristas were super friendly & seemed in good spirits! It is small so finding a seat may be tough someone was kind enough to offer us their table on their way out. I believe they have additional seating outside as well. Definitely a great spot to visit.💌
Great coffee shop in a cool area of Fort Worth! The atmosphere is wonderful, making it a great place to gather with a group. They source their coffee from Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters, and the baristas were knowledgable about the roasts they had available. I ended up getting an americana with a Guatemalan origin, and it was solid. They also had a wide selection of baked goods. I'll be returning!
Hidden gem! We got an iced Von' Riverside (vanilla latte) and a nitro cold brew. I wasn't a fan of the nitro so they kindly swapped it out with a iced Purple Rain (lavender latte). And they were amazing! It was a little expensive but the portion of coffee is a good size. My bf got a bacon burrito and it was very good! Small but good, great salsa with it too. The staff was extremely nice. Highly recommend!
All of our group's coffee drinks were quite good. It's a small location but they have seating outside as well. Staff did a great job keeping the line moving. FYI they do not have a blender if frozen drinks are your go to order.
I really enjoy this coffee shop! They open very early and their chai is one of the spiciest I've tried in FW. They do not offer a lot of vegan bites, so I usually order the avocado toast, and it was pretty great the first time I ordered it. The quality seems to have declined over the past few months though... the size of the toast is now half the size of what I received the first couple of orders I made, and today I placed 2 orders of the toast for pick-up; both orders were pretty small, and burnt around the edges. I would order again, but I mainly keep returning for their chai and top notch customer service!
The staff was very friendly and easy going. The coffee wasn’t memorable. It was great but wasn’t bad. Certainly better than some other places like 7/11 or McDonald’s, but other than that not much to it. I thought the avocado toast was the best part. It was served in sourdough. The place is a quaint little place with outdoor seating available outback. Menu was relatively small but I think they are going for a simple minimalist approach.
The kolache and chocolate chip cookie were very good! The mocha was just okay. Tasted very watery, not sweet enough. The ladies there were very kind and patient though
This coffee shop is absolutely charming—easily one of the best in Fort Worth. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, with cozy touches like plants and thoughtful decor that give it a relaxing, aesthetic vibe. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, while the indoor area is smaller but still comfortable. The large front window brings in lovely natural light, adding to the overall ambiance. Just a heads-up: there’s no Wi-Fi, so it’s not the best spot for laptop work. But it’s perfect for catching up with a friend, enjoying a peaceful moment, or reading a good book. A great place to unwind and take it slow.
Nice little place. Really good service, really friendly people. My mocha latte was delicious, however it's about half the size of what I would have received at Starbucks or Dutch Brothers for the same price. I can't get excited about going back, and since Starbucks and Dutch Brothers are four times the distance as Race Street coffee, I'll probably end up going to McDonald's or QT and pay two to three dollars less for what I want.
I wanted to try this place out but once I came in I was greeted with very weird looks I can’t help it , that I have a skin condition but I shrugged it off and ordered my coffee , but let me tell you something once someone else came in they were all perky and smiling I can tell you that ! The coffee shop was nice but these people can give you judging looks every other shop I have been too I have felt like a normal human being but once I came in to here ! never felt so Un welcomed but hey I guess it’s just the way they are but just a reminder never look at a person like that never again !
Coffee was fine but not exceptional. Also, asking for $6 for a 12oz latte and not having basic sauces like Caramel or white chocolate to meet customer requests isn't acceptable, in my opinion. I will likely not be recommending unless you have no other options.
A very mid experience for a high price. Their "kolaches" (pigs in a blanket) are about the size of your pinky and $3.50. The straw that broke the camels back was that I decided to get a turkey and cheese croissant that costed just under $10 that barely had any of the aforementioned ingredients(other than croissant). The vibe was great, however i don't recommend becoming a regular.
Race Street Coffee has a cute and inviting atmosphere, and the blueberry lemon loaf was delicious. They clearly put effort into making the space comfortable, which is the only positive. The biggest problem: there is no Wi-Fi and they don't offer refills on drip coffee, so already they give you no incentive to stay. But if you try to take your coffee to go, they hit you with a ridiculous $1 charge for a paper cup. It's outrageous, especially when a small latte is already overpriced. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re willing to pay a hefty price. 4.3/10
Would be much better if they take phone orders. Not everyone wants to navigate the web.
Staff seems dry and racist with clients that are not white like myself. Over priced coffee!! This was my second time and made my stomach hurt! They do not have stevia, almond milk, and/or other alternatives but whole milk! Vibes are off! I tried to give this place a chance but will not be returning. Not paying $7 for a nasty latte! I don’t recommend if you’re not white!
