Came to VB to celebrate my son’s birthday. Our party of almost 20 received top notch service! Ryan, the manager, and the rest of the VB staff did not disappoint. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure my son felt special on his day while also taking phenomenal care of the rest of us and ensuring our drinks were never empty and our table stayed clean. The meat was some of the best flavored and best quality we’ve had. (Especially the garlic picanha and lamb chops) Their strawberry lemonade is so unique that we all had to refrain from drinking ourselves full, 10/10 recommend, even if you don’t usually care for lemonade. The salad bar has such a wide variety of food, everyone on our party found something(s) to their liking. VB has our business over any of the other steakhouses in the greater DFW metroplex for sure! (And we’ve been to almost all of them) Thank you Ryan and VB staff for an all around enjoyable experience!

The only negative was the salad bar was smaller than I expected, but let's be honest if your going to a Brazilian steakhouse it's not for the salad bar. Place a fantastic. This place is awesome for date night, business meeting, guys night out, or girl. I was in awe how great the staff was. Everything from yes sir to right way sir. Meet with some brothers and great dudes. The food was warm and delicious and what made this place taste good was how clean it was, restrooms, seats, floor, I even tried to look at the bottom of tables. Seriously we literally came from out of town to just eat here but it was close because of a reservation so unfortunately we waited 5 hours to come back and eat here, although it was worth waiting please dont close restaurant for someone else. Other than that congrats for having a Great Restaurant.

Great churrascaria! I have been going to the VB in Irving for close to 20 years. We have come to this one a couple of times. Great, as are all their locations. Just adding that they never disappoint. The meats are always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sides are great and the desserts are great as well. You have to order your grilled pineapple at this location, it doesn't come out as part of the grill offerings. They recently opened up a Garland location that is on the lake. Great views to compliment their great food. I saw staff there that I remember for the original one in Irving and hav3 run into at this location. They remembered me all the way back to Irving. That says a lot about how well they are treated. Another reason to visit VB.

This is the absolute BEST Brazilian steak house I have been too! The food had great flavor not too salty and very flavorful and cooked the way you like. The staff was amazing and super friendly. The spicy chicken was my favorite. I have been to many Brazilian steak houses from California Texas Minnesota and even Japan and VB is the BEST one by far!! I will travel to Texas just for this place!

The garlic beef was memorable!!! I approached the waiter with a ring for my girlfriend so he could bring it out 10 min later with desert! He came back with the ring a plate that said will your marry me along with the whole staff awhile playing I THINK I WANNA MARRY YOU as I proposed to my soon to ne wife! The service thougfulnes and going the extra mile was ....I don't have the words you all made the day special for me and my soon to be wife. I was invited for a date after work. Something told me to change out of my uniform. Although there isn't a dress code. The way the set up is. Beautiful! Everything down from the placement of the table to the food and service was Amazing. Me just writing the review now. Make me want to go back today. Because it's date night again. Go check them out. You want be disappointed. I don't know what the price was for 2 but it's worth it. Trust me

Their only downfall is they don't serve the roasted pineapple with the meal. The pineapple helps with digestion and would be great if they would offer this even if it was an upcharge.

The meat was great, the sides were cold, the salad bar is not really a salad bar, it's got some greens and other veggies, sandwich meats, cheeses, olives. Some prepared salads. However I missed the soup bar as it was my 1st time and the server didn't really explain things well.

Absolutely wonderful. My partner and I wanted to go somewhere nice for our 6th anniversary and were worried we were underdressed after we saw the inside of the restaurant and the staff, but no one said anything and treated us like we were the most important people there (which is how they treated everyone). The charcuterie at the salad bar was really fun and I got to try a lot of new things, like smoked salmon! Yum! I recommend picking up some pickled onions to try with their assortment of meats. We’ll definitely be coming back.

My husband surprised me with reservations for our anniversary this year. He loves meat & I am more of a salad person however we both were pleased with our experience. I was shocked that the restaurant was not busy at 6:30-7:00pm on a Saturday night. Not sure if that is normal or not, but there was never more than 4 tables in there. I couldn't keep up with what meat was what and what I liked or didn't too much care for (wasn't much of that) & I definitely couldn't keep up with the flipping of the card. I don't even think the waiters paid attention to the cards anyway. I looked down at one point and it was on red but they were steady serving me & asking if I wanted some. Not a problem for me at all, just made me pay even less attention to the card. I really appreciated the attention they showed us. We had a good time. I'm ready for another trip back! Next time I will take my time. I felt like I was shoveling meat in my mouth as fast as those guys walked by & there was no reason for it.

Today my partner and I decided to go to VB steak house (our favorite steak house for 4 years) and we went in without a reservation and were sat almost automatically. Our Host/Server was very attentive and she noticed that we weren’t getting seen as much as other tables (because we were in an enclosed area) so she came over, apologized (even though it was not her fault) and she was made sure for the rest of the night that we were seen every time they brought out a different serving of steak. The service and attentiveness of her and the staff really made this a great experience!

Any time that I have been in town, I make sure to eat here once or twice, per visit. What is there not to love about VB Steakhouse. It's is conveniently located. The parking is spacious. The dining area is spacious as well, and you never feel cramped. Everything on the hot bar is great but my biggest attraction is the lamb and lamb chops. The service is exceptional. I know that VB Steakhouse may not be technically considered "fine dining" but I'm here to tell you, their quality of meats and their service is better than most if not all "fine dining" establishments, I have visited. Morton's, Ruth Chris, Lemmings, Perry's, Sullivans, Capital Grille, etc all are good on their own but when placed side by side VB Steakhouse, they do not hold up, when it comes to their staff and meats. If you haven't dined with them, give them a try.

We went at 11am on a Friday - I believe it was around $33 per person for lunch. We loved the selection and the meats were exceptional. I believe the last time we visited was back when they first opened, so it was a treat to see they're still doing an amazing job. Don't sleep on the salad bar/hot bar sides. The potatoes au gratin are DELICIOUS. Everything was well stocked and maintained. My only (small) complaint is that the restaurant is so dim. There's not much natural light inside.

From the moment we sat down, Wendell’s team treated us like Brazilian BBQ royalty. They didn’t just bring the meat… they summoned it. Skewers of sizzling, juicy goodness kept coming like a delicious protein parade. At one point, I looked down and realized I was sitting atop a mountain of meat. Glorious. Plates disappeared like magic (seriously, I think they hired ninjas), and our glasses never reached half-empty. Every time I blinked, someone was refilling something, slicing something, or smiling while enabling my meat addiction. The salad bar is fresh, vibrant, and beautifully laid out… and yet I only gave it a respectful nod before diving back into the main event: more steak. More lamb. More bacon-wrapped anything. I briefly considered stopping, but Wendell must’ve seen it in my eyes—he sent over the ribeye reinforcements. That man gets it. The salad bar was very good, and the meats on the first round were excellent. As they continued to come around, though, many of the meats were more well done and a bit dry. The desserts and cocktails were very good. Our waitress was very sweet, but she was hard to find at times when we needed something. Excellent place to visit when in town. They just keep feeding you. Sundays are 29.99 so a great time to visit. A bit tough to get to if walking from the other side of the interstate, but if you're up to the adventure, it's definitely worth it.

Service was excellent. Salad bar was excellent. Mashed potatoes, fried bananas & bread very good. The servers bring by various meats on skewers until you can't eat anymore. Only issue is getting the .eat cooked the way you like it. Most are rare to medium, so if you like it more on the medium well to well side you are out of luck. Overall it was a good experience.

Good place. I celebrated a graduation, so what better place to take the dinner than to a nice BBQ and salad restaurant. You are given a token, and you let the servers know if you want veggies or if you want them to server you meat

Exactly what you would expect at a Brazilian steakhouse. Eat till you pop salad bar and meat served table side. I give a 4 1/2 stars as the salad bar was just ok, wasn't as fresh as i would have liked. I stuck to cheese and bread. But honestly the meat and sides that come to the table is were its at. The Lamb, Ribeye and Chicken were the best cuts. We all left happy and full. Oh and don't forget the amazing drinks and dessert!

The food was very good when we got our first round of meat but as time passed for the second the meats were a little overcooked. Our waitress was very nice but for a while a little hard to get a hold of and we don't know why they're was only about 8-10 tables in total. But compared to Texas De Brazil and others, the spacing and the layout was perfect. My husband is in a wheelchair and he felt very comfortable and could easily access the salad bar. All in all we enjoyed ourself and plan to be back.

One small area for improvement: After a few rounds, some of the meat servers start skipping tables, which can make guests feel rushed or like it is time to wrap up. A little more consistency in the rounds would make the dining experience perfect. Overall, we always leave full, happy, and looking forward to our next visit. ambiance was upscale with white tablecloths. Brazilian Barbecue is all you can eat and they continually come by with different meats to put on your plate. The food was very good.

Good quality food at reasonable prices. In general, the atmosphere is a little more hectic than we like, due to the constant movement of waiters offering meats.very nice and attentive waiters.

Out of the VB restaurants we've been to, I had higher hopes for this one. The food at the salad bar tasted bland. The veggies felt like they weren't seasoned, some of the meat I can't remember which didn't have flavor. Service was great to start, but sat there maybe 20 minutes waiting for our check. We had to finally get up and ask for it. I think we'll continue going to Garland instead. And this was the only location that has charged us an extra 20% for being a family of 6. Irving and Garland didn't charge us that

Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it was mediocre. A lot of the cuts were tough and medium-well. We dined here for Father’s Day and we were all left feeling underwhelmed. When we first were sat, all the meat were brought to us at once. After that, they completely stopped coming to our table. Maybe cause we were seated in the back room but we are also paying customers. I mentioned to our server that the meat stopped coming and he asked what I wanted… I was like well it’s not what I want.. we’re here as a group so it would be nice if all options were still offered. It’s ayce and a pretty penny. $400 for 5 adults after tip. I shouldn’t ask for the meat to come to my table. Some of the bread and items at the salad bar were no longer there before it was even closing time. I’ve definitely had better Brazilian steak.

The salad bar was very good. The meat was over cooked, had crispy burt ends on all their cuts. Maybe it was this particular night. What made the experience worse was that only one toilet was working for the men and and it went out of service, leaving no toilet available.

Wasn’t worth the money. Maybe not even if the bill was half. Started off host was wearing aeropostal sweats…. Sweats… cheese bread was so hard you couldn’t eat it. Had to send first drink back and just accept that the second one was just as bad. Wife’s drink seemed to be all syrup paid $40ish for drinks o wouldn’t order again if they were free. Meat was good. Service was ok. $200 after tip. Felt so cheated. I’ve had better food at casual places and cheaper bills at high end places. This was a complete scam.

It was freezing, we could not enjoy our food, I asked the waiter if they could adjust the thermostat, and he said no. It was $65 a person. After an hour, they stopped coming to our table with meats even though some of our cards were up for meats. The sides were getting cold fast. It was an uncomfortable experience. It was a party of 17. My daughter's birthday. I will never have a party here again. I celebrated her 16th birthday at fogo de in Addison. It was the best time we had. Everything was great food, service, and atmosphere.

Please ensure you request an itemized receipt before settling your bill at the restaurant. During my recent visit, the waiter only presented a tablet showing the total amount rather than a detailed list of charges. Consequently, I was incorrectly charged for a child's dinner for my five-year-old without being asked his age, which I only discovered after receiving the change. If you choose to pay in cash, I recommend asking the waiter to count the bills in your presence or taking a photo as proof of the amount provided. Furthermore, I found the management's response to these issues unsatisfactory. Despite the restaurant's reputation, no manager visited our table to address the errors. When I followed up the next day, the manager, Windell, was dismissive and unwilling to review security footage to verify the payment amount I paid the waiter. It appears there is a significant lack of professional customer service at this establishment. We will not be back.

So....we frequently go to Brazilian steakhouses quite often and this one by far was not good. The food was for the most part dry with little flavor. As soon as you walk in, there is an overwhelming odor which I think is on purpose ( wood burning smell I assume) but was not appealing. The service was pretty good but the experience just wasn't good enough to warrant a return trip.

My family and I have been here in the past and have actually been quite content with the food and the service, but last night was a completely different story. We decided to come here for my birthday yesterday for a late-ish dinner because I really wanted steak. We arrived at 8(Google says they close at 10) we obviously had no intention of being the annoying people that stayed until closing. Our server was kind, but my God when I tell you the rest of the staff was doing everything other than blatantly saying get out, I mean it. Picking up our plates while we were mid bite, asking us if we are going to have dessert when its only been 20 minutes since we have sat down, bringing the check before the 40 minute mark of sitting at the table... I thought oh man I must have lost track of time, imagine my surprise when I look at the clock and it isn't even 9 yet?! Coming from someone that has worked in the service industry I understand wanting to be done at the end of a long night, but adamantly trying to force people to leave an hour before closing is kind of crazy. I would have left it alone had that been the only thing that went wrong, because again, I get it. But no, unfortunately, they decided to charge us for a non existent person too. We don't usually check the itemized receipt until we get home, and to my surprise when we did get the chance to check I realized they charged us extra. Now I'm not saying it was intentional, but when there's only 2 tables left I find it difficult to believe you'd make a mistake like that. A subpar experience of cold steaks, cold staff, and overcharged food was not on my birthday wishlist, but hopefully it helps someone else reading this review to be aware that this might be you if you decide to show up 2 hours before they close.
