Great nomnoms and quick, especially considering how busy they are.

I have been to more than a dozen different In and Out restaurants, and they have yet to disappoint! The staff is friendly, greeted me immediately, was very bright and just chatty enough to make it very pleasant. My food was amazing, perfectly done and just how I like it. Restaurant is clean, bright and when I was there, not terribly busy. They definitely can and do get VERY busy, but the wait really isn't that long, especially considering how busy than can get!

One of the employees here is quite a remarkable human being. Before I ordered, he could tell I was stressed about something, and asked me how I was doing. What a nice guy! He later hand-delivered my food to me, and another employee came along and offered to clear our table. Now I have a very wholesome memory of this location. Seriously, a small act of kindness can go a long way. Thanks man, you made my day.

My first time in In-N-Out. It was packed and yet everyone's order was processed very quickly. The place is impeccably clean, the staff were most helpful and happy appearing and their clean neat appearance invited us to feel good about them handling our food. Someone was wiping the tables & seats as soon as they were cleared. Everyone in our group was very happy with the food.

My son got to order his food and said "churzburgur" and his order was taken by a very nice young man who understood every word and didn't make my kid feel weird for being picky, we sat down, a young person made a very loud burp, we gave it an 8, my son's chair was squeaking bloody murder, no one yelled at us, the older man next to us ate his food with a switch blade, nobody cared, we were living our best lives at the in and out. 10 stars.

There's a very "local" feel about In-n-Out. People go there often with friends, and it has a social atmosphere. And the food is good.

Great burgers, as always. Employees are top notch (as we were entering the parking lot, three of their uniformed young men were push starting a customer's car with a dead battery. (How's that for customer service?) Wish these guys would expand their locations to benefit those of us on the east coast.

I stopped in for lunch at the In-N-Out on Grass Valley Highway in Auburn, and I have to say—it was such a great experience. The young woman who took my order, I believe her name was Claire, was like a breath of fresh air. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. It’s not every day you get that level of genuine, positive customer service, and it made my visit all the more enjoyable. Great food and even better service—thank you, Claire!

In-N-out Burger in Auburn, California is an awesome place to stop for a Burger, fries, and a shake or soda. The service is fast, the dining room is very clean, and the food is fantastic! It can be hard to park at times and the drive through backs up with a dozen or more cars sometimes. I walked in and ordered in 2 minutes, got my order in about 7 minutes, and really enjoyed my double double, animal fries, and chocolate shake. The staff is very well trained and helpful. The dining area is spotless. Bathrooms are available. Definitely a great place to stop on your way to the lake or to see some historic buildings.

Compared to anywhere else, I love that In-N-Out has remained affordable. It's always been delicious. A staple of being a true Californian, its sun, surf, mountains, and desert all rolled into summer nights in beautiful California. I went to get coffee and a focaccia somewhere else that cost me $16 bucks and now I'm regretting it, I should've just come here instead.

If you love IN-N-OUT, this location is one of the best in my opinion. Great tasting food as usual but this place always tastes the best. Exceptional service, great food and a must stop and try recommendation. And if your passing through it's also close to I-80 off of HWY49. Best burgers in Auburn hands down.

I know in-N-out gets many reviews. When one of my friends directed me to this one it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. Yet plenty of traffic and awesome team. I loved the team that works here. They taught me two things that I didn’t know about in-N-out. First is there delicious spread, second is the four patty stacked burger, the most delicious combo to try.

Great staff, as always good food and good pricing. Don't like the soggy fries, well ask for them well done you noob!!! Then they are crispy and oh so tasty. Don't forget to get your pooch a puppy patty as well.

The Auburn In-n-Out for some reason always seems to be just a little tastier than the others. Shout out to Jacob who came by with a smile and asked how our meal was and to let him know if we needed anything. It’s rare to see happy employees these days, very refreshing. Well done Jacob!

In-N-Out has always been one of my favorite places to get a burger. Everything is prepared fresh from quality ingredients. Most fast food restaurants have everything pre processed, but you won't find anything sitting under heat lamps here. Even the fries are hand cut in plain sight. They are usually busy, so don't expect a quiet meal. There are also secret menu options such an animal style 4x4 with chopped chillies if you are feeling bold. Check out the bottom of your cup. In-N-Out is managed with high moral standards. Speaking of standard, every restaurant has a similar setup. You can go to another In-N-Out 100 miles away, and it will seem like you are walking into your local restaurant. The burger you order from the same simple menu will taste exactly the same every time.

Ever thought about those people who go through drive thru and eat their meal in the In-N-Out parking lot? Or people who give quick handies in public parks? I’ve been one of those people. So here’s my double single with onion and extra tomato. Gotta try the extra toe-ma-toe, it’s killer. Double single, double the meat, half the cheese. Sometimes it just gets too salty with all that cheese.

Stopped in Auburn, Ca on the way back from San Francisco for an early dinner. It was exactly what I expect from In-N-Out: great food, great service, clean restaurant. The outside seating was actually better than those found in some other In-N-Out restaurants in larger cities. Highly recommended...Thumbs up.

The last In-n-Out burger on Interstate 80 until you get to Reno. Whenever we go there it is jam-packed but there is not that much wait, because they have more than 20 people working in their kitchen. Are their fries better than McDonald’s? Both are great in their own special way. Besides, that’s a very personal question….

Housing 2, 4x4s easily here. The secret? Great food, great prices, and amazing service. The beauty and creepiness of in and out is their consistency.” Every location looks and operates the same but at least it’s super consistent. Only complaint are the fries. They kinda suck because of how thin and under salted they are. Add more salt and its business baby!! Animal style is the way to go when it comes to burgers ! 🍔🍟🥤

The Auburn and the crossing drive locations are my two favorite in-n-ous for sure. They have the fastest and most accurate service. Don't get me wrong I love all in-n-outs when I want a fast food burger! My go to is the double double with mustard and spread only with buns extra toasted. I also like to get in protein style when I want all the veggies. I like my fries extra well done with cheese and spread! Go big or go home!

Quick lines, absolutely the next burgers ever. And the price is honestly just unbelievable. If I lived next to an In N Out Burger, I'd be going all the time!!

Normally there are long lines at the In-N-Out Burger in Auburn, CA but it is so worth it. They have a simple menu. I had a delicious meal of a cheeseburger, fries, and thick and flavorful chocolate shake. Customer service was outstanding. I couldn't believe I purchased this whole meal for under $11.00. Definitely recommend!

Great fast food in Auburn! Went May 7th..see my receipt. I went here at 1030am (when they open) to get my friend a burger as neither one of us has been here in awhile. The line inside and outside was already quickly forming! I understand why they are always slammed..good burgers and good fries! The prices are still the most competitive in town. My friend ordered the number 1....animal style on the burger (is that a secret?!) That came with their fresh cut fries and a drink. I had a bite of the burger..huge and juicy! This chain knows what works..consistently good food AND keeping their prices affordable! They have indoor and outdoor dining plus a VERY busy drive thru! If you choose the drive thru bring your patience because they are always busy! Cheerful employees. Clean inside. Fun atmosphere! Well staffed. Its a treat going there..somewhat nostalgic!

Double double whole grill add pickles all day! Have had it in three states and CA always does it best. Load that animal fry like it’s nobody’s business. Drive thru was 15 cars deep and we had our food within 7 minutes. This spot is conveniently located off 80 and the first one you get to when you head out of Reno to Sacramento. In n Out is one of the cheapest fast food joints around and the food is fresh. Two people can grub for less than $20!

We dined in since drive-thru line was long, as to be expected at In-N-Out, roughly 20 cars for 6:30pm on a Saturday. Staff was friendly. During our meal, one of them came over to our table to ask if everything was ok and if we needed a refill on our drinks. Restaurant was clean. There’s outdoor seating.

Went at 11:15am; already superbusy. One of my 1st times at any in-n-out, so I had trouble articulating my order [secret menu item]. Also, never had a fountain drink from them. Cashier was helpful & patient; gave great advice to make an Arnold Palmer from the house lemonade & iced tea. Rather a long wait but it was very busy [dozen+ groups waiting for food, & about 20 waiting to order]. My food was exactly as ordered. Enjoyed my 1/2&1/2 drink. The place was VERY clean; the staff I interacted with were efficient & very friendly. I commend the service, atmosphere, staff, & ability to customize your burgers. Only con: patties are thin & not seasoned.

For some reason it just wasn't the best In-N-Out Burger. But it was still 10,000 times better than McDonald's. I don't know what went wrong exactly. But the taste just wasn't the same as normal but it was still a good. Would highly recommend it great employees very clean and as quick as possible surface for an In-N-Out burger place that has people waiting in line. If you're hungry this place is for you.

This location is always so happy lol. They always have your order right and is consistently tasty except the fries can sometimes be a salt-bomb. But In-N-Out's burgers are amongst the exceptional compared to the typical burger places.

I enjoyed my dining experience here. There was a long line for the drive-through, but that's always a good sign that the food is worth the wait, and it was. The food was great, the service was nice and expedient. The atmosphere was a little too much. There was little parking available and barely any outdoor seating. Overall, I give it a 8/10.

We have been going to this In-N-Out Burger in California since it was built. It is a a favorite stop. Haven’t been back for sometime and really was hoping that California In-N-Out Burger would dump the double burger and acquire the impossible burger as a vegan and vegetarian option. I have a lot of people in my circle that would go to In-N-Out Burger and would they bring their kids to In-N-Out Burger if there was a non-meat selection . So in these modern times of obesity and global warming because of the forest devastation due to too many cattle overgrazing the planet, it’s time to get modern In-N-Out Burger. A lot of people would really see it as an amazing step in the right direction. What will you do? I couldn’t give a five even though my meatless animal style hamburger was pretty darn good!

Always a good burger. I was surprised that their corporate would raise their prices so quickly due to minimum wage hike imposed by California.

Not the best in n out I have been to but it will do. Fries are usually overcooked and burgers are dry sometimes.

Unfortunately, this location has made me stay from and stop eating In-N-Out. They gave me a patty that was wet, soggy, and lukewarm and I haven’t eaten at any In-N-Outs for 2 years until I gave them a second chance, and still no good. This place is constantly overrun with tourists going to Tahoe and the staff just can’t keep up with the demand. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes for a drive-thru burger. Only reason I’m rating three stars are because of the exceptional staff. They’re always in a positive mood and remain calm through the rushes.

Chocolate shake was delicious. The line to order was very long but they put an employee to take orders where the cars stopped to be inclined. Seemed to make the line move faster. I have visited this one several times and over the last few months they raised the prices but the fries are now cold they are sitting out waiting on burgers that are at least a few minutes away and there are like 15 or 20 fry servings sitting out on the counter waiting to be bagged or put on a serving dish so when you get them they are not fresh and hot the burgers are fine but to raise the prices and give worse service is pretty bad

Food is always good but they CAN NOT get a drive through order right if their future depended on it.. Last 4 or 5 times they’ve gotten our order wrong.. Even if they repeat the order back to you correctly at 300mph - the actual food you get is usually something different. I’ll get a plain cheese burger for my 2yo. “Would you like onions on that PLAIN cheese burger?” “Um no just meat and cheese - a plain cheese burger” *its delivered with lettuce, tomato, and sauce* If you ask for pickles, they’ll never make it to your burger Good luck

This was my 1st terrible In & out experience. Arrived and waited about 2 minutes to be helped although it wasn't busy possibly due to rain. I was rudely greeted by Macy after having to wait for the drive thru cashier to yell and flag her down. I then waited 15 minutes while multiple employees stood around socializing. Fries and burger were over seasoned which was super surprising. Definitely not going back to this In and Out. If you are black, I would advise another option if possible. Hoping I don't get sick couldn't even finish the food it was so salty. I definitely don’t trust them to make me another order and I’m not walking through the rain again either. Whoever the male cook on the grill was for sure intentionally skipped my order. Pretty sure all this can be verified if corporate reviews the cameras.

Updated Review, September 15, 2022 Today, was a returned visit to ordered my usual hamburger combo with fries and lemonade, but sadly, very disappointed with the meat quality and food preparation in comparison to my most recent visit. The hamburger meat was ultra thin and rubbery, and the fries were lukewarm and limp. The lemonade was good. If this happens again, it will be my last visit to this location… Last week’s review: I’m so happy to have re-visited this location today due to my last visits of disappointment and regret this year. My order today was my usual, cheese hamburger combo, which was as delicious and prepared equivalent as the many years and locations I’ve visited in California and Nevada. I hope to see the continuous in food quality, preparedness and great customer service.

This place has become so bad. Last three times I’ve gone I didn’t eat my half my meal because it was so gross. Sour white lettuce, or clear tomato’s, or fries that taste like mold. I dunno if it’s under new management or something but it is bad. Oh and I just spent 20 minutes in the drive through with 2 cars ahead of me
