So glad I finally realized they are just down the road. Super cheap and super yummy! Ran like a well oiled machine and even us customers were considered part of the crew! Don’t sit at a dirty table and wait to be told to sit. Once you get your food, eat and move on. This was basically what we were told. Lol I was even too nervous to take too many pictures for my review. 😂 My waitress was awesome and so nice. Even called me “momma”, which I loved as my daughter has friends who do the same. I will definitely go back!!!

Quick service. Waitress was nice to wipe down the bar before I approached and gave me a clean menu. As soon as I sat down they gave me a waffle. In and out in less than 15 minutes. This was purely a business exchange and it was perfect. When did they start printing Waffle House on the waffles?

This place was AWESOME! I'm from the South, so I love a good Waffle House. The waitress (Chalita?) was great! Super sweet and attentive. Drinks were always full, and our order came out quickly. We're from out of town and it was my children's first Waffle House experience. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was the first time I didn't have to bribe anyone to eat their food 😅 they all want to go back again before we head back home. The waffles were of course, amazing. With the added chocolate chips? Kisses to the chef! Grits, eggs, and sausage were just as good as I remember. The hashbrowns? Ooooooh man. I don't know how they do it, but they're always VERY tasty. The lemonade SLAPS, by the way, totally recommend. Not a single complaint about the establishment. There's a certain energy you get at Waffle house, and it was not lacking here AT ALL. Do yourself a favor, pull up. Update: I previously visited at 1pm for the initial review. The following day, I went around 830pm. It was TO-GO ONLY. With that being said, the wait wasn't bad at all! I went in and placed my order. No more than 15 minutes later my food was out, complete with utensils and condiments. The 3 crew members were just as friendly as the day shift. I'm not sure what all the complaints were for or what people were expecting, but my experience both times was AMAZING.

What can I say, it's Waffle House. Always great food and coffee. Our server, Debbie, was awesome and friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was fun and it seemed like staff and customers alike were having a collective good morning!

Always love Waffle House. The waffles here are the best we gotten anywhere. They’re amazing, perfect flavor and thickness. The hashbrowns are perfect, not over cooked or raw and they taste like real potatoes. The biscuit and gravy is amazing too, the biscuit is fresh and the gravy with sausage tastes really good. Everything was hot and fresh and tastes amazing and the waitress was nice and got our order and brought everything out fast. We don’t live anywhere nearby (hours away) but we try to come by every once in a while because it’s the best restaurant of its kind. My family loves waffles and they say these are the best and I don’t really like waffles but yes they are amazing, I get one too when I come. I’d recommend to everyone to try it and I wish there was one closer to where I live. (I barely remembered to take a picture after we started eating).

Very busy when we were there, about 11a-12p. However, we were seated, our order taken, and served fairly quickly. The food was cooked to order and good. Nothing fancy but very good. The manager, who was also cooking, made sure service was quick and tables cleaned promptly so new diners were seated quickly. This was a good Waffle House location.

We stopped here on the way to the airport (perfect location) and were seated in less than 10 minutes at peak hour on a Sunday. The amazing Fran took our order right away and made us feel like family. The team of chefs led by one extraordinary gentleman was purely awesome to watch. Our three breakfasts (waffles, 2 eggs with toast and grits x 2) were served up in less than 5 minutes by Fran after ordering! Thank you to everyone working there today for making our visit so fantastic. Everyone had a great vibe and this lifted everyone's spirits. We can't wait to return!

I have been to many WHs in my life across the country and I have to say I think this is the best one Ive patronized. Went 3 times during my trip and all times were consistently good. 1 time during a rush hour with a full house and a line at the door. We were quickly seated, greeted, and the ticket times were fast, about 5-10 minutes with every seat in the house filled. Manager was walking around helping his staff and they were all working together like a team the way it should be in a well managed business. The staff were all up beat and pleasant and all seemed to really care about their jobs. The other two times were slow hours and the food came out in 5 minutes. All three times the food was cooked just right - hot and done properly. I have been to other WHs where this has not been the case - where the place is empty and your food comes out cooked either wrong, really slow, or is cold. That’s pretty bad when that happens considering you can watch what the cooks are doing in all WH’s. Thanks guys keep up the great work!

Went in for some breakfast earlier this week. Service was fast and efficient. Good was reasonably priced, got in and out very quickly. This whole plate, plus a blueberry waffle and coffee was only 15.00 total. I'll definitely be back soon.

My friend and I have been waiting to try here for a long time! We went at around 10am and had about a 20-30 min wait. Once we sat we got our orders taken asap by our awesome server Eric. We both got the all star breakfast with just a few differences. The waffles really surprised me as I got the blueberry waffles and was so surprised at how fluffy they were. The rest of the breakfast was great as well along with the coffee. Will definitely be back again for breakfast, must try the waffle!!!

Waffle House is a classic staple for greasy, tasty, inexpensive comfort food that never disappoints. I had a wonderful time at the Waffle House in Austin. The staff was friendly and super welcoming. They made me feel like I was part of the family. They were quick and efficient, and they always checked on me to see if I needed anything. The location was actually clean (lol, if you're a Waffle House lover, you know what I mean). The tables were wiped, the floors were swept, and the dishes were sparkling. The food was delicious and satisfying. I ordered the All-Star Special, which came with a waffle, eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot and fresh. I enjoyed every bite of my meal and every minute of my visit. Waffle House is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items. Waffle House, you have a loyal customer in me!

What did I really expect? It's just a window over night. I asked for a receipt or a ticket, denied. I waited and watched the window for 20 minutes. Turns out they threw it on a shelf and let it get cold. Plenty way better ways to waste 20 bucks and 20 minutes in a dark parking lot in Austin at 3am.

Waffle House was hitting! For being 3:30am, they were quick with the service. Honestly it’s not a high quality meal, but for 4am and $6, this is damn good quick bite. Love the vibes of chaos here as well.

Only complaint was I came in to order to-go and one of the staff got an attitude because o sat at the stool to look over the menu I guess to-go guest aren’t treated like dine in guest when both are spending money … she was totally rude and asked the older white lady to move us . Which is crazy because she didn’t get a single customer while we were sitting there lol . Thank you to the older white lady she was very nice about the whole situation and even apologized for the lady with the wig ponytail to the back lol …. Other than that food was good learn to treat all customers the same

Was a bit disappointed to see they don’t have the dining room open around 5:15 so had to get a Togo order and eat it on the way to the airport. However we were extremely close to the hotel we stayed at AND the airport so it was the perfect place to stop and grab breakfast before our flight.

I like there waffles . We order plain and blueberry waffle I like it , along with that we order chicken omelette which was a bit too salty. They have a lot of crowd to entertained and they were doing good job. Although the staff was not wearing the gloves but they are making sure to wash there hand regularly or sanitising. There are occasions when you want to dine in an elegant setting and order sophisticated dishes you wouldn't make at home. And then there are times when you want to slide into a booth and inhale giant portions of comfort food prepared five feet to your right. Both ends of the spectrum serve a purpose and when it's 3 am and you're craving 60,000 calories before you pass out for 12 hours, Waffle House is your temple. (Smothered and covered, by the way.)

I wasn’t expecting much but the the customer service was great & the fact that they’re understaffed and busy, yet we got served quickly made it more comforting. Went in for the first time to a Waffle House. Place was loud for 6-7am because of the music. Music turned all the way up you couldn't even converse with your table. Place was so cold inside when it was 30 degrees outside. Uncomfortable. Windows were so dirty from the inside too. Sat in a booth at the window and its just covered in smears and hand prints and dirt. Waitress was very nice. Food came out fast but it wasn't anything to go home to talk about. I won't be back. Other wait staff sat right next to our table and you could hear their convos on the phone, to which one was yelling at someone on the phone for awhile. It just kind of interfered with our breakfast time, just a lack of respect for the paying customers. If you have to yell at family on the phone as an employee, take it outside. I wasn't super impressed at all overall. The menu stated a 20% charge for to go orders. Found that interesting. Plus, whatever torn off sticker was on our menu, probably was the added $1 to everything we ordered. Didn't ask. Just wanted to be done here. Maybe worth a one time try, that's all.

The best thing this place had going was cheap price, now once u "build" a breakfast or choose a meal it doesn't add up as that anymore. If your wanting something that is not dripping in grease then this is not your place. The staff is nice but overloaded and slow to check on service levels. I ordered a big meal granted it had a bunch of food. I gave it a 3 because parts of the food was just ok and the price for all that I ordered I suppose was not so bad...

I remember the Waffle House in Tucson and Phoenix were pretty awesome and the food tasted great. This Waffle House, the food was very salty and alot of butter was used. Maybe my tastes have changed, but I think I can tell the difference. The best part was the fountain coke, but even then, it had a little off after taste. The gravy was also ok. If the service was much better, then maybe I would have rated it better. But it seemed like Jessica was straining to serve and it was hard for her. Face coverings are recommended and social distancing is practiced. Will not be purchasing from this Waffle House again. 😒

Probably won't be back for the food, tables were not wiped off and were sticky. For a place called the Waffle House you think there'd be more waffles on the menu. The service was absolutely phenomenal! The server was very conscientious and patient with us, made quality suggestions in food choices. Customers were greeted as soon as they walked in.

Take this with a grain of salt as Waffle House vibes change throughout the day as you probably already know. Atmosphere was a bit too lively for my tastes in the late morning. The radio was so loud that the employees had to yell over to each other. It took approximately 8 minutes after sitting at a single seat bar spot before anyone came to ask if I even wanted a drink. Bacon was definitely not cooked to order and was probably made earlier with how dry it was. Also, only condiments to go with their hash browns was hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Based on my observations though, they were probably swamped with training a new staff member and a group of young adults putting in a to-go order after an obvious night out previously. It was just an “eh” experience.

So my daughter and I decided to catch a 4am breakfast. Knew Wafflehouse would be the best option.....very disappointed in the fact they only served through a window....yes 24hrs, but cant eat inside. If you have been to Waffle House anywhere in the country you know what you going for. The service was excellent Jazz took good care of me. Food was OK. Specifically the Bacon was plain and had no flavor. Never have experienced that before. My raisin toast was raisin bread. It was like the toaster missed the heat part. My grits were hot and eggs cooked to order. Would I come back again YES and I let them know the short comings.

I went in on a busy morning so to speak. Its been sooo LoNg since I've been back in Waffle House. They obviously got rid of the cool, funny, welcoming, & helpful females that I was ALWAYS HAPPY 2 see!! The reason I say this is because, the cashier (in these pics im about to post) was EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL to me & other customers! First, I barely received a "Hi, gm, welcome, what can I get you?" No, she had the cook jump on cashier (who was sweet) I tried to tell him what I wanted & he said they don't have it anymore. She then JUMPED back on saying, "The other girl was just being nice, we dont do that over HERE! I asked if it gets too pack I can wait outside & she can call or text me! She yelled out' " Were very busy & I don't have time to be doing ALL THAT, you can WAIT here it'll be out shortly! She did all this in front of the customer who was right next to me's face & loud enough for all to hear! And when I was about to leave I had wanted a few more syrup (since she only gave me 1 and 3 butters) she yelled, "What ELSE did you NEED, MA'AM?!" I told her she said, "I had ALREADY put it im the BAG SO..." OK, Let's be clear > You're acting like we CUSTOMERS of yours are a NUISANCE & are not WELCOME there...Oh NO NO Boo Boo Kitty...WE are the ones PAYING YOU 2 keep Waffle House open & for you to remain EMPLOYED! 2. As a cashier & CSR your role is to help every customer you come across, feel at ease & point out some good options on the menu to choose from...so that we can decide what we want! Especially, if I haven't been there in MONTHS or YEARS...So much has changed Idk what is being sold there! 3. Lower your voice, & talk to us like you have some sense, instead yelling in everyone's face or yards away from the register. By the way YOU DIDN'T PUT more syrup or ANY BUTTER in my bag so...MOVING ON! Oh & by the way me offering my # was to help YOU out so YOU didn't get overwhelmed w/so MANY orders to go, you could've POLITELY said, "Oh ma'am there's no need, were not EXTREMELY busy, your order won't take long...just have a seat & here's your juice you ordered.

So, it has been a while since my last visit and review for this location. The place was fairly empty when I arrived, but the kitchen was a disaster. Looks like they got hammered post UT football game disaster. There were only two people here so I can see how things can fall behind when you are short staffed. As for the food, well it was not good eats. Sorry guys.

My 2 stars are for the Food ONLY. We visited on March 31st. Being my very first time experiencing Waffle House finally, I was really disappointed. We decided to stop here as our last stop on our road trip in Austin. We parked and decided to get take out as we needed to be back in SA. So we called as they don't have a way to order online. We called, asked to place a to go order and the lady simpley said "OK give me a minute..." We then waited for over 10minutes "On Hold" but in reality we were in her pocket and could hear her with customers, with staff and her cleaning. It was.. a really odd experience. After waiting we decided to hang up and call back maybe she'd forgotten? Even with just 3 tables with no more than 2-3 people on each maybe she had forgot. So we called back and were immediately met with a voicemail saying "This location does not take to go orders, you must go inside to order to go"... the heck?? With everything that's gone on in the last year you'd think they would take to go orders over the phone? Plus the lady before said Nothing about that to us earlier, we wouldn't have wasted our time. So my husband went in and while he was greeted and treated nicely when ordering he said it was just bitter sweet as over the phone was so different. Anyway we got our order after about 20minutes and of course things were missing. We ordered a breakfast and a sandwich (which was burnt) and a waffle. What we ordered but did not recive was the biscuit and gravy, and anything extra we asked for the waffle e.g. Any of the Jams or butter that we asked for and also no napkins or cutlery. We went back got the missing items and just ate our food and drove home. The food was average with the best thing being the waffle. Honestly the whole experience just put a damper on our last stop of our trip. Over the phone customer service seriously needs to be worked on aswell as to go orders missing items.

This was the worst service I have received in my LIFE. We walked in and sat in the front no service people walked in after us and got service right off. So then we got drinks no straws we had to track the guy down for straws, we finally got our plates with the grits, toast and eggs no silverware. We had to wait for the bacon n waffle. We got the bacon like 5 min later still no waffle. One of us was finished with the meal and still no waffle. Meanwhile you have people coming in getting waffles. So the the older lady that was in there started taking the waffles to her tables (people that came in after us) we had to speak up because now enough is enough. So they bring the waffles to the table finally after we are done eating and 1 of them is still full of dough we say some things and then Daliah comes to the table and she goes and redo our waffles and save the other people from getting cussed out. So we ask to speak to the manager but she was not there. Then the waiter brings the tabs to the table and says when yall are ready we will cash yall out... FRFR never no more at this waffle house. They are really sad and rude. And only 1 star because I had to. Thank you Dahlia for saving our visit.

I must say this is by far the worst waffle house I've ever been to. While waiting for a server to come greet my friend and I, we got to listen to the cook and a male employee yell at each other about scheduling. When the server Ayanna finally came to our table. She was very rude. We had to ask for sugar and creamer a few times before she actually brought it to our table. When my friend asked for silverware she rudely responded in a minute! She then went to a different table and started getting their order and left us waiting for spoons for our coffee. My friend had to get up to get coffee which annoyed the waitress to roll her eyes. Food came out at different times. She tossed my silverware down on the dirty table. I can honestly say this is the worst service I've EVER gotten.

Good God of all the WH's I've been to this one is the dirtiest. Every seat that was open, but one, was loaded with previous guest's dirty dishes. I mean EVERY dann table has not been cleared! The poor cook was out back taking out the trash when I walked up and the two waitresses weren't moving quick at all. I'm appalled. It's 1 am and there's few people here...

First and last time in this place. Waited 5 minutes to get my order taken. The waitresses seemed confused by who's section I was in. The woman that was obviously supposed to, blatantly ignored me or any question by others regarding taking my order. Chicken and waffles definitely not what it's advertised to be. Waffle is paper thin. Very disappointed by service and lack of quality.

People even walked out. I will stick to my Alabama visits to get waffle house. Not even full order of hash browns

Staff ignored people coming in completely, leaving tables dirty to not sit more customers while customers that were sitting had already finished meals. When approached, staff answered with attitude and had customers wait for more than 30 minutes when there wasn’t much business at this time. Completely made the experience not worth it, I just hope this treatment is not the same every day.

When you order online, add an hour to the estimated time for pickup. I can appreciate when a place is busy, but for the staff to be voicing to customers that they "dont care" and "arent staying late" and cant be bothered to tell the customer an approximate time the order might actually be ready is ridiculously disrespectful to everyone in the restaurant. When I asked for an update on when my order would be ready, I was dismissed. 30 minutes later when I asked again I was met with, "do you want to cancel?" Well, like you could have told me that 30 minutes ago, so when I said no, theres no need to go bad mouth me to the table you are serving, especially where I can hear it. Maybe, just don't leave an entire group of customers standing around while you pretend to wash dishes with RBF and ask another customer to man the door and continually let people out, so you can keep the door locked. I know it won't hurt their business, but I'll never return.

Debbie was amazing! Great customer service and food is amazing! However, Alex the cook is very disrespectful to women, talk down to them and made the atmosphere very awkward. Definitely would recommend some training on this.

If you're Caucasian, I would not recommend this location. My wife and I went on a slow night after a holiday and were ignored for 20 minutes while everyone who was not Caucasian got served. Got racism? This place can if you're the wrong color. Not only will I not go back here, I'm done with this organization all together.

First, I ordered to take out. I ordered a grand slam breakfast special, 17.00 something. I went to pick up and the young lady said "waffle is not included" i responded " i am paying almost 18.00 for 2 eggs with cheese 2 stripe of bacon and hash browns with half a slice of cheese? That's quite pricey. Nevermind you it was a horrible breakfast after I opened it. Well the manager came thru and gave me the waffle but when I got to my job, opened the plate, the hash browns were so burnt I could eat them and there was only 1 egg. I WILL NEVER get take out from this place. I am a regular eating in there, my first and lady take out. Pictures are included for you to see. Those hash browns are NASTY. I also added onions and they pile the onions under the burnt hash browns, Gross me out. A waste of money.

I've been to every waffle House from North Carolina all the way to Arizona even this one and it was the worst experience I had yet. The food was disgusting. And that was the first 😥 maybe it was just a bad day

It says 24hrs but from 12am to 6am is to go orders only. Never seen a Waffle House do that. Got to have at least a couple of cups of coffee with breakfast. Lucky there was Dennys nearby

I normally don’t complain, and I don’t care about having to order at the window. But when my food is thrown in the bag, looks a mess, and I’m left sitting there for almost two minutes watching it get cold while the staff ignores me, that’s when it becomes a problem. This was a complete disappointment, and if this is the level of service they plan on giving from now on, it says a lot about how far the restaurant has fallen.

Service was great. But I don’t even know how they can call this food. It’s no wonder why American people are so sick. And I’m not just picking on a waffle house because most of the chains do this. I could even tell this wasn’t very good food because I didn’t feel good the rest of the day. I ordered so-called blueberry waffles and it looks like it’s just blue food coloring no hint of a blueberry at all. No telling what the batter is made out of. The so-called syrup has a long list of ingredients, probably half of what you shouldn’t be ingesting. The industrial looking “butter” was the same way. Why can’t these chains use real food? They couldn’t use some real blueberries and some real maple syrup? Why don’t they ?because it’s all about profit above all else. I’m all for capitalism, but it’s ridiculous when you don’t want to lose three dollars because you use real food ingredients.

If I can do zero stars I would, if you are going to close the lobby at least have the decency to change the time on Google because you are fooling everyone. And Whats worse is that I had to wait almost an hour for my to-go order and still haven’t received it. Do better Waffle House. Do better.
