We enjoyed our first visit to Jaipur Palace! It was a great pleasure to meet with Mr. Clifton. He was very informative about all the dishes and the spice levels. We ordered the goat biryani, Maharaja Punjabi Dal and Baigan Bharta with a tandoori roti. Each of these dishes were delicious! Both came with fresh white basmati rice. Clifton was very kind to adjust the spice levels for us when the Bharta turned out too spicy. He was very attentive and checked on us a few times to make sure we are enjoying our dinner! We saw him working very hard with all the other guests too. He was preparing cocktails, & drinks etc. while attending to all guests! What we liked most was that the food had a home made quality, and it did not upset our gastrointestinal systems! :) The restaurant ambiance is good. The cutlery and glassware were clean! Overall, If you are looking for a good Indian Restaurant then Jaipur Palace is very good in Austin!! The prices are very attractive in these times! We hope it stays this! Thanks again for a lovely hospitality Mr. Clifton! We will visit again soon!
Best Indian restaurant in Austin! The staff is friendly, and with such a low turnover rate, you’re always remembered and truly appreciated. I suffer from amnesia and somehow always show up during the hour they’re closed, but I don’t mind waiting around the shopping center until they reopen—it’s always worth it.
My wife and I stopped by yesterday to go to the Vietnamese restaurant next door but realized it was closed regardless of showing it’s open on the website, so we decided to go here instead and I cannot even say how much grateful I am for your wonderful staff and the food was delicious! My wife and I are obsessed. Will definitely stop by again:)
I had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and every dish was flavorful and clearly prepared with care. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and making us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be back!
I love Jaipur’s Palace! The food is 10/10. The service is 10/10 and the people there are so nice! I visit Jaipur’s Palace at least 2-3 times per month and I am more than satisfied each time! If you like Indian food or are looking to try something new this is definitely my #1 recommendation. If anyone asked me what my favorite restaurant was I would 100% say Jaipur’s Palace!
This place is delicious. Warning to all, however, Uber eats GROSSLY overcharged. The butter chicken in store is $14. It is $18 through Uber Just come to the restaurant. Delivery is a scam and this food is too good to pass up.
Awesome awesome food and place! I come here all the time and love everything I have tried. Can’t go wrong vegetable Somosa, butter chicken, garlic naan bread perfect every time. Service is great always get the same guy and we always share a laugh. Good people good food. You gotta try it out
Fantastic experience, as always. We’ve been coming here since we’ve been in Austin. Some of the best Indian cuisine around. The service is nothing short of stellar, every time we’re here (thanks Vallino! You are literally _the Best_!) and the ambiance is pleasant and inviting. The staff always go the extra mile here!
I love this restaurant! If you love Indian food you must dine here! The Tikka is absolutely delicious! The service from Villani is the best you could ask for. Very attentive, but never overbearing. He also generously helps us pick out our next dish to try and he hasn’t been wrong yet!
always amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. consistently very kind and kitchen is always happy to accommodate requests- even coming from someone with a laughably low heat tolerance.food quality is very high and the effort is palpable. thanks for having such an amazing restaurant! ❤️
I recently dined at Jaipur Palace (Austin) and was thoroughly impressed by their take on North Indian cuisine. Their Butter Lamb was rich, tender, and full of flavor, and the Mangalorean Kulcha (stuffed flatbread) with spiced chutneys was a standout. The Jaipur Mixed Grill sizzling plate was a fun celebration of tandoori meats — smoky, juicy, and beautifully charred. The ambiance is unassuming from the outside (in a shopping-complex setting), but inside the dining room has touches of elegance — velvet banquettes, warm lighting, and bold drapery. The Infatuation The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, helping us choose spice levels and explaining dishes without pressure. Definitely a go-to for when you’re craving serious Indian food.
We LOVED this place!! As Indian people ourselves, we tend to be a bit critical of Indian places that we visit, however this place more than impressed us. The food was warm, seasoned and spicy, and well made as there were different flavors within each dish. We also really liked that this place was family owned - the owner took the time to talk to us and made sure we enjoyed our food (and their children are extremely cute). We ordered : paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, lamb sheesh kebab, and chili/garlic naan (we especially liked the malai kofta).
Our favorite restaurant in Austin! Vellino has been our server every time we’ve come and he has always made us feel welcome and had excellent food recommendations. The food is always delicious and service is always fast. It takes a lot for me to give a restaurant a 5 star review, they have to not only have great food and good service and atmosphere but also be consistent with the standards. Jaipur Palace has been a favorite and has never disappointed ever since we first tried it. P.S. the butter chicken and the tandoori chicken are incredible.
Jaipur Palace is an exceptional spot to savor authentic Indian cuisine. It was my second time exploring Indian food, and the server was incredibly helpful with recommendations, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re ever in Austin, Texas, be sure to check it out – you won’t be disappointed!
Quite possibly the best Indian restaurant in Austin. After eating at several Indian restaurants in Austin I feel this one is the best. We ordered chilli paneer appetizer that was the perfect texture paneer (tofu) with perfect spice level. We ordered Veg tikka masala and Paneer chilli main dish with spicy naan and wow. The food was just amazing. So much Indian flavor and the portion was huge and price was perfectly set too. The biryani was just incredible. Biryani is hard as you can overwhelm the flavor or under do it. But they managed to make it just right and perfect. It came with Indian yogurt (raita) and unlike other restaurants this is authentic raita. Not your HEB yogurt hastily mixed with cucumber pieces. This was well marinated with pepper and black salt and such. The taste complimented the biryani so well. I was also surprised pleasantly that they gave the food with generous rice and onion salad mix. Anyone can try making Indian food. But the richness of Indian food and the amazing palette and flavor can only be done by some few skilled people. Jaipur Palace is that place.
AMAZING .. 1st time here, and the food is amazing, staff are friendly. Husband asked for a vindaloo to be Indian spiced. They warned him, but he really enjoyed what he could eat. Then guys brought him something to calm the spice. The flavor of the food is amazing. Over all, were coming back. Maybe not to spicy next time around for the hubby..🤣🤣
My new favorite Indian restaurant! Everything was just bursting with flavor and the portion sizes were very fair for the prices. I would especially recommend the chili naan, the salty lassi, and the Indian Summer cocktail (vodka, coffee liquor, and pineapple) if you are looking for a drink.
Everything was so good!! Amazing! We eat here when we visit Austin, from time to time. We were able to sit and eat but have done take out and both ways, the food was hot and fresh. Which is great! …

Just one word: delicious!! Really good food, nice place, kind people. If you want to taste indian food, this is an excellent place to start the journey.
Starter we ordered was chicken 65 not great . Chillie paneer not great it was more gravy. Not dry. Main food was good. We Ordered yellow dal was great with bhindi masala was good as well. Naan was fresh soft and good . Shrimp vindaloo was great too. Sweet dish was gulab jamun. Good. Overall great taste apart from let down appetizer. Not consider best like Dallas hashtag India restaurant.

The Afghanistan chicken tandoori is very dry. \nThe curry is delicious. \nThey forgot 1 of our rice but they quickly resolved it.
I grabbed some takeout from here which ended up being really great and filling! They were on time and service was great

Its ok. Good flavor. Curry tika masala was loaded in onions and samosas were Very greasy
The tikka masala was ok. Ive definitely had better. The sauce was way to watery. The flavor was on point. The naan bread was basically a over cooked tortilla. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if im craving Indian and dont wanna drive far ill go here.

This is how much chicken comes in an $18 to-go order of tikka masala. And there is only enough rice to cover the bottom of the pan. I saw all of the great reviews online and figured I would order. Maybe you need to eat at the restaurant because I ordered 3 entrees and I feel like combined they have 1 chicken breast in them. Spent well over $50… pretty sad definitely would not order from here again.

We ordered Dal Punjabi, Matar Paneer, tandoori roti, lachcha parantha, kheer and Chai. Food was tasteless. Dal and Matar Paneer had very less salt (we added more on the top but it was still tasteless), no taste of garlic in dal. Roti was very thin like papad, same with lachcha Parantha. Both were made of aatta what seemed like closer to maida rather than whole wheat flower. Tea was tasteless, pre-made with lot of masala, Kheer was very watery and rice in the kheer was hard. They mixed something like tuti fruity which ruined the taste of traditional kheer.
I stopped by for dinner on my way home after seeing the 4.5-star rating, but unfortunately my experience didn’t match the reviews. We were very hungry and ordered their most popular dish, the Chicken Tikka, but the first bite itself was disappointing. The flavors felt off, and the curry tasted undercooked with an unusual tangy-sweet taste that didn’t sit well. The dal was good – I’d rate it 3/5. The naan was also decent – 3/5. On a positive note, the owner/server was extremely kind and polite, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall food experience just didn’t meet expectations.
