Great lunch dinner menu. Sandwiches are very tasty. The included salads are very good, have tried Potato and Pasta. Nice casual atmosphere with order at counter then they bring food to your table.

Holy crap, this place is insanely delicious. I got the pimento sandwich with tomatoes; by far best thing I’ve ever eaten. I’m so shocked and impressed with this place, I’ll def order from them again. 10/10 highly recommend

Went to 1 place today then ended up here! Absolutely amazing foood. I’m on a health phase so I had a salad. It’s a bit high but the food was fresh and the lettuce was crispy! Nothing worse than a limp salad. I will be making this a regular stop from now on! Sooo good to the last bite then I was sad face lol!

Its been 2 years we have been going to the Trader Joe's next door but did not discover this place and I am sad about it. This place is amazing for a quick lunch. The options are plentiful, The food is delicious and the service is quick. We got the combination of half sandwich and cup of soup. Chicken pesto and Tomato basil was one, and Cajun shrimp and Chicken tortilla soup was another and all the items were really good. The prices are very reasonable too. The portion size was may be on the smaller side but that can be fixed by ordering more. We are going to back soon

We met friends here for lunch and I had an issue with my salad. The manager immediately replaced my food with another order and refunded the meal with apologies. He came around again to ask if everything was ok and gave us a voucher for a future meal. The way he handled the situation was above and beyond. I frequent this location because it’s an easy meet up spot, the food is generally healthy (if you know what to order) and service is exceptional.

Pretty tasty! Tables outside were pretty dirty, but that’s understandable & forgivable since they’re shaded by trees. I recommend choosing from the specialty salads or sandwiches instead of opting for the value combos. The half salads/soups are nothing special.

I came with my husband and son for a quick eat for the first time and were not disappointed! My son got the kids pizza, my husband got the salad and broccoli cheese soup, and I got the ultimate salad with the loaded potato soup. The soups were very good and the salads were large. The only draw back is that it is super cold inside. After my son ate he just kept commenting about how cold he was so we just packed up and left. But my husband and I will more than likely be back again!

My office gets Newk's catering frequently. I wanted to give it a try. I try many cafe bakery style restaurants. Blue Baker is tastier, but bread is ok and the gumbo was surprising good. Layered cake is 3 out of 5. Brownies see pretty good. Lobster bisque was just ok. Shrimp poboy was nice although it has grilled shrimp.

Well the food is really good. It's expensive you're looking at $10-$15 for a sandwich. But God help you if you wanna call in and place an order the day before. Even after trying to speak to the manager which I was unable to do I had to go online to place the order. The girl just kept saying I can't place the order till 12:10 AM I can't place the order till 12:10 AM I can't place the order till 12:10 AM.deplorable service

after seeing this place a few times I decided to give it a try. Overall the food was decent but I don't think I will return. I decided to try three menu items first I had to pepperoni pizza. Decent sauce flavor the pizza had way too much sauce on it everything just ran off. The crust with medium Chris but too chewy and doughy to really enjoy it. Their coleslaw is absolutely bland that I would give one star didn't need some flavor. The shrimp po boy is also nothing to write home about. Decent sized shrimp that were plentiful on the sandwich but overall not much flavor to anything.

First time in a while going into a Newks. My wife and I’s sandwiches were extremely greasy…as if there was more oil added to the sandwiches. We didn’t finish them. Our salads had lettuce that looked visibly old! The outdoor patio was awesome, but too many tables had dirty dishes left on them. There’s no place to bus back plates (inside or outside) yet the server came out three times without clearing the tables. So if it’s not clear who is responsible to bus back plates. Also the Diet Coke on the fountain drink dispenser wasn’t working. Had to notify someone. These are all signs of unclear processes and mismanagement. In addition, the sandwiches did not meet expectations… Not sure we’ll be coming back soon.

Had lunch there today and I always order the 1/2 chicken salad with soup. Always tastes yummy! But I do want to post about how small the portion size of the chicken salad was today - a very small scoop. My sister ordered the same without bread and her scoop was maybe 4-5 bites. Very disappointed in paying $15 for a very small portioned meal. Have you changed the size of the scoop for these portions?

We ordered online and when when there to pick it up it was not to be found. The manager was very rude and dismissive with us. She basically said that wasn't her problem or the store. That was on us and when we told her that we were were loyal customers even have the app with points on there currently and that we would not be returning to this location because of her attitude. She said oh well. Is this the kind of customer service that is taught by newks? Is this something that happens in every city or just Austin? We will not be returning after this. It was very rude to treat customers who go there at least once a week the way we were. This happened today November 20th. 2025 had around 1:00. Not sure who the manager was. She would not give her name. I don't expect feedback because it probably will just be pushed aside, but I just thought you should know how your store is being run in Austin, Texas

I should have known from the minute I walked in how disappointing the food would be. I’ve been doing a survey of Italian sandwiches around Austin and this has to be by far the worst one I’ve had. It was the full size one and it was tiny. It tasted like grocery store deli meat. There is absolutely nothing interesting, flavorful, or satisfying about this food. I suppose it serves the clientele here for whom paper would probably be too spicy. I genuinely feel like I just wasted money on what is so lackluster compared to so many other amazing options in Austin. This sandwich isn’t even worth the calories.

Do not go to this location for subs! This place used to be so good. The flavors are still very much there. I'll give them that. However their portions are absolutely ludicrous. This has happened the last 4 times I've come but today takes the cake! I've ordered chicken salad in the past and they just put the thinnest layer of chicken salad on the bread. Today I ordered an Italian. They put ONE thin slice of ham, only 3 pieces of pepperoni,1 super thin slice of tomato and 1 wilted piece of lettuce on the sandwich. $11 for that! Unbelievable!!!! Complete waste of money!
