Tripe and tendon are served as well. Other restaurants don't usually have them. Compared to others, soup is more delicious, non greasy and brisket was soft and perfect.
This is hands-down, my favorite Vietnamese restaurant to get Pho from. Their portions are decent, and it’s always on point. I stopped going to all the other places specifically because I love this one the most. Even when you order through DoorDash or Uber eats, you don’t have any issues.
The food is excellent and the portions are generous. The spicy beef noodle soup is actually spicy, I'd rate it a 3/5 for heat, while also being massively flavorful. All of their broths are rich and tasty, the veggies are crisp, and the meats are cooked perfectly.
They have some of the best broth I’ve tasted—I loved how it had a more beefy flavor. If you’re just now trying Pho, this place may be a good start. The portions were a bit larger than I expected, but that made it even more worth the price. The inside of the restaurant is a little smaller than it looks online. Overall 10/10 pure perfection.
Oct 2024 11am Place was nice. Wasn't too busy so the food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the Eggrolls & Grilled Shrimps - BÚN Chả Giò (3) & Tôm (4), Organic Edamame tossed with Sea salt / Đậu Hà Lan and a Vietnamese Coffee to go. It was a very large portion. I ended up taking the rest home. I highly recommend this place.
I’ve been here before, and this place continues to be one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. Pho is very rich in flavor and soothing. Their egg rolls are just simple delicious. We asked for green onions in our pho, and they delivered. This restaurant is a family owned business, and their service was good, few young men working hard to take/bring orders and attentively making sure customers need. Highly recommend!
We went to this pho first time after checking the review, really loved this place. Pho is so delicious and flavorful, ordered p12(pure vegetarian), p01 and p02, both are with beef. My family loved the flavor, i tried vegetarian and its really delicious, skipped adding tofu and mushroom. On top i have to say they are such a helpful and courteous people. This place is small but very clean.
My first time coming here...! And I’m surprised! Shocked! 😛 it was sooooo delicious And just the pho that I wanted because I’m very picky with my pho! I took it to go and it was still delicious! They’re very personable, especially the woman at the front. I also got spring rolls, very good! I took out the meat, cause I didn’t know it had it. And the Thai tea was alright. But I’m very satisfied with the pho! 😋
Great place for a nice bowl of pho. Definitely good ambience and clean. Loved the warm bowl of pho and the vietnamese coffee. The service time was average and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. They have all the nice sauces that makes a pho amazing. I'll recommend it. Try the beef broth with variety of meats. It might be crowded in peak hours so come early. Parking is available in plenty in the complex.
The rumors are true—the pho at Pho Phi is cheap, quick, and delicious. I've been to joints that charge more for less food, and most places definitely don't give you as much bang for your buck as this place. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, and our food came out just a few minutes after ordering. The large pho order bowl is bigger than your face. I opted for the small P13, which has all the cuts of meat and was only a dollar more, and I'd say the bowl actually came with more beef than the large size. Definitely worth it if tripe, tender brisket, and tendon are your thing. The broth was fragrant and perfectly seasoned, and the noodles were just right—not too tough and not overdone. What other reviews are saying about the egg rolls are also somewhat true, since the appetizer came out after we got our bowls and they were steaming untouchably out of the fryer. Still good, though.
I love this place. However.... lately, their noodles have been tasting very rubbery. And the Pho broth has absolutely no flavor. It's like trying to drink liquid cardboard with rubber bands in it. It leaves this really unpleasant taste in my mouth. Highly disappointed as this is in my top 2 Pho places I go to.
Ordered the Bun Ho Hue. Bold, savory, slightly spicy broth. Tender beef brisket but the pork leg was a bit tough. They offered a small portion of vegetables for two people. Flies swarmed around us as we dined which concerned me about the cleanliness of the restaurant. Usually not an issue but there were enough to the point where we actively had to pay attention to swatting them away as we ate. Overall - not amazing pho/noodles (even though I didn’t order pho) but you get a hearty bowl of for a decent price. Three stars for the dine in experience and four for the food.
It was all OK, not a whole lot to say bc I didn't get a whole lot. If you view my pics, it looked like I got the leftovers for my large bowl. I can eat any Pho bc it's my favorite, but when you skimp out on all the meats, you are just leaving little to talk about. Just based on the broth alone, it was very average, at least it didn't taste fake with a citrus flavor which usually means an instant Pho package. The BBH, I'm a bit conflicted, it didn't have the beefy broth flavor but it did have nice spice to it which I liked. The pork and meats still needed some time to Stew longer cuz they were still chewy. Not terrible, but just not the quality I would expecting.
Came for the anniversary week they stated spicy beef &pork noodles to be 10$ but they said it’s out when we arrived, the store definitely WAS NOT BUSY AT ALL. They get to plan better for their next “10 year anniversary”. We felt disappointed to try this place out. If you’re NOT READY, DONT HOST THE CELEBRATION
Just moved to Austin from the Midwest. Ive been eating viet/laos food my entire life and this is by far the worst Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The fried rice was just rice with shrimp. The Bun Thit Nuong ( noodle dish) was completely missing shrimp! And it was bland. The “fried rice” was worse than mall food. How is this place even in business? 30$ wasted! In the garbage.
