Avaliações de Terrazzo Tea Austin
Their boba is always perfectly made every time I’ve been. I love the I’m toasted with 75% sweetness. I go regularly because it’s right down the street from my work and they recognize me (and a coworker now). They’re always very kind when we swing by even when we ask for 12 drinks.
Terrazzo tea is great!! The owners are so nice and they were so easy to work with for a company catering event! I would highly recommend them for any event you want to have bubble tea. Not only that, the flavors are so good and are so refreshing. It’s also a nice plus that the store has ample parking. Highly recommend them for any event and also if you’re craving bubble tea with a hip aesthetic!
Small but great selection of drinks! Which is all a boba shop really needs honestly. Definitely worth a try, quality of tea is great!
I'm a big fan of boba and ever since I tried this place out when it opened last year, I have yet to find another place that tops the drinks at this store here in Austin. The vibes inside the store are perfect for coming to chill with friends and the drinks are amazing. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. If you're in Austin or visiting Austin and looking for a spot to fulfill your boba cravings, I'd definitely recommend going here!
Wow. I didn’t think I could find legit boba in Texas. But this place uses quality tea. Everything on the menu is great. I tried the sweet cheeks and honey dew better. 10/10. Also vibes are immaculate. The workers here are so fun!
I started coming to Terrazzo Tea in the summer of 2023 and have never been disappointed! This is one of me and my best friend’s favorite boba shops in Austin. The staff is always friendly and kind. Just be mindful of the parking and seating availability when they host events as it can get crowded!
Great service and people always greet me with a smile. Cozier vibes than other boba shops and the Cream Dream 75% sweet is my go-to! Bonus points for vegan toppings and having caffeine-free options for my younger cousins!
I've been twice now and it's super tasty! I got the blended watermelon sugar high 75% sweetness and it's not too sweet thankfully! and with the blended texture it kinda is like drinking a really cold watermelon slice. staff has been very prompt and helpful. it's a little empty in there yet but they're fleshing things out yet I think! It's a cute spot and so glad it's near my work! (: definitely hitting this spot up for a treat yo self moment every now and again.
I came here and tried boba for the first time. Will definitely be back. I enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere as well.
The team pays careful attention to every ingredient so they complement each other well. They also use a well concentrated tea so you can still enjoy the flavor despite the ingredients. I recommend the I'm Toasted as a great twist on a classic milk tea without losing what made the OG great.
My bf and I were having lunch in the area, so I googled a tea shop and ended up here. The drinks on the menu seemed unique. I’m just a basic jasmine milk tea gal, so I was a little hesitant to try but I’m sooo glad I did. I got the Jaded and my bf got pandan pandan pandan. I’m actually upset I enjoyed them so much because I know I’ll be craving it often. Please come to Houston :’]
As someone who's made the move from the Bay Area, the benchmark for boba was, understandably, quite high—thanks, in no small part, to the likes of Boba Guys. Yet, this spot in Austin not only met but perhaps even exceeded. Silky and its this kind of attention to detail and quality that resonates with someone accustomed to the high standards of Bay Area boba shops. Overall, this Austin boba shop presents an experience that stands toe-to-toe with the Bay Area's offerings. This tea, with its just-right sweetness and superb creama, indeed sets a benchmark for boba in Austin.
I ordered the married to the melon with tea jelly and boba- half sweet, super refreshing ✨
Terrazzo’s is THE BEST boba in AUSTIN TX. Whether you’re looking for a fruity tea or a milk tea they have all of the best options. And another thing that I love is that they try to elevate each drink with different toppings and condiments. Adjusting sugar lvls is not something every boba shop does because although I love their drinks I cannot do maximum sweetness I’m more if a 50% type of guy. From their delicious drinks, to very clean and relaxed ambiance this is a great place to bring some friends after work or in between classes. Their employees are also… chef’s kiss 😍😍 Boba tea is not something that Austin is widely known for but there is no lack of quality OR service at Terrazzo’s. I am a fan for life.
lowkey terrazo tea is super underrated. their drinks are sooooo good and their boba chewiness is so on point. i tried the ‘in my feels’ and it’s so so so good! not even super crazy about strawberry but this is really good! the interior and design of everything js also super aesthetic ❤️would love to come back for more :)
the fruit teas here are soo good. i tried some milk tea options but i would def come back for the fruit teas
It was my first time having milk tea, and I was not disappointed. I came here because Terrazzo Tea was hosting a pop-up event for one of my favorite bands, "The Rose", ; everyone had a great time. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The drinks I had were awesome. I had the Concrete Rose (appropriate) and the Sweet Cheeks. I like how you can get the sweetness level adjusted.
matcha crème brûlée and taro breeze are so amazing. matcha is really good. best taro tea drink i've ever had. edit: added this beautiful picture i got yesterday of my favs! workers are also always so nice ❤️ i've literally never been disappointed by them and i'm picky so that says a lot 😅 they also recently started doing a punch card for loyalty yay! thanks for the reply love y'all ❤️
I’ve been to pretty much every boba place here the last 7 years, and these guys make the most craft and bougie bubble tea drinks in town. Lychee rose jasmine, taro ube, salted cream, so much more than your traditional options. So, good
Best boba tea in Austin! We took our out-of-town friends here and loved it—great drinks and super friendly service. Lots of flavors to choose from, definitely worth a try!
Rating: 4.5/5 Terrazzo Tea is located in a small plaza, but their sign is the largest one there--you can't miss it. Upon entering, Kimmy emerged from the back and greeted us warmly. She was incredibly patient, answering all our questions and offering great suggestions for non-dairy drinks. Since she was the only one handling both the register and making drinks, there might be a wait. Fortunately, the line didn't start forming until after we ordered, so we didn't have to wait long. Kimmy easily connects with customers and keeps them updated on their drink status, especially if it might take a while. Matcha Slushie With Boba ($8) + Oat Milk ($1): Definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely delicious! We opted for 75% sweetness, which was perfect since the boba had a mild sweetness that complemented the drink. The matcha slushie's taste and texture were spot on. The only downside was that the boba was slightly overcooked--too soft and lacking the ideal chewiness. Of all the matcha drinks we've had in Austin so far, this one is the best. Concrete Rose ($6.50): Lychee rose jasmine milk tea with chia seeds, lychee star jelly, and lychee bits. We got 100% sweetness, which turned out to be too sweet; 75% would have been a better choice, but now we have a reference for next time. I don't think I've seen chia seeds in a drink before--just in Vietnamese chè and desserts--so I was curious how they'd work here. This drink was excellent, with lychee taking center stage and rose playing a subtle supporting role. The chia seeds were actually bland, adding only texture and nutrients. The lychee bits had some husk leftover, so my husband had to spit a few pieces out. The lychee star jelly, on the other hand, was flavorful and delicious.
Such a cute place! Very clean and open space. I ordered the Pom Perignon at 75% sweetness and it was very refreshing and perfectly sweet. My sister ordered the Grape Aloe Ice at 75% sweetness. Her drink was lacking some tea flavor though. The barista was nice enough to add some more tea and it made the drink taste way better! 10/10 service!
Favorite bubble tea spot in Austin hands down. I love the simplified menu (though you can order off-menu too) and super consistent with every drink every time. Fresh great-tasting boba. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
Nut allergy friendly, just let them know. Located in a small strip with sufficient parking. I usually judge boba places by their oolong milk tea at 30% sweetness. It's my go-to order to evaluate the tea flavor and texture of the boba. Honestly, I was ready to write off Terrazzo based on their "We'd Get Oolong" which is close to my normal order. The tea wasn't that intense, although I enjoy the flavor of their boba (replaced crystal boba). The sweetness level was perfect. But then I tried my friend's "Jaded" order. Holy cow. It might have been one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had. I look forward to trying some other specialties from Terrazzo!
I recently visited this boba shop for the first time and tried the Married to the Melon and In a Mood fruit teas. Both were amazing! The menu stands out with its creative fruit tea combinations, multiple vegan options and the ability to select your drink’s sweetness level from 25% to 125% is a great feature. The shop’s aesthetic was also on point and this is easily one of the best boba shops in Austin.
wow super stoked for this place! I was a little hesitant on trying another bobba tea spot but I heard some good reviews so I decided to check it out for myself. The pandan thank you ma’am did not disappoint at all! I got it with 75% sweetness and would definitely recommend… a must check out and lovely date spot. Owners are A ++
Really good bubble tea. Love the cute shapes of the jelly. Jasmine tea is my favorite and they had a lot of mixtures with it. Love the menu choices that they had, I was pretty bored with the generic black sugar boba tea type of drinks, but Terrazzo had more interesting choices. I have ordered concrete rose and it was great. Had 50% sweetness and it was not too sweet, just the right amount. Wish it was closer up north!
I asked the barista for her personal recommendation and she was so helpful, informational, and enthusiastic. I think I got a rose oolong flavored drink with star jelly (I can’t really rmb) but it was an interesting flavor that I loved! I’m usually cautious of getting Thai tea cause some places can’t bring the flavor that I like, but I’d say this place is Thai tea friendly, was very sweet in flavor :)
The Thai tea slush was amazing and I would get it again. The taste reminds me of graham crackers in liquid form which is hard to picture but it was good. I can't wait to try the other flavors when I get a chance.
Our group of friends came very late, around 10 minutes before closing. There was only one worker and she was incredibly sweet and made all 6 of our drinks! She also let us know they have a buy 4 get 1 free deal. I got “Pandan, Pandan, Pandan” with 75% sugar and substituted the boba with the clear boba. It was delicious and the size was also pretty large! My friends seemed to also really enjoy their drinks. Would definitely come again~

This Pomegranate Guava Tea is amazing and just the right about of sweetness for my taste. I'd definitely recommend getting your tea here. They have a great variety and they smell good once you enter their establishment.

Had taro one and the banana matcha. Absolutely fuego. Best boba milk tea in all of Austin. Had me feeling like an ABG. Highly recommend!

Mostly good just be sure to ask for quarter sweet unless you want diabetes and stay away from the Matcha, it’s not even ceremonial grade and tastes terrible. When asked, an employee stated ceremonial grade is too fancy for their customers, despite charging them over $10 a cup. 🤔
Reviewing for their soft opening. *Disclaimer this is not reflecting their actual opening and hopefully they figure out the kinks! Will update accordingly :) This place def reminds me a place in San Jose, California called Pekeo or Tisane with the boba combinations. —-updated as of 4/17——- I saw on their instagram post they reworked the Pandan recipe! They heard the feedback and acknowledged the milk part diluted the flavor. Just the tea and the creama is the way to go. I tried it during the promo and it is improved! I can taste the pandan this time around. I would think dumping into the ice would dilute it more. ——-original review —— We got the 1. We’d got Oolong - Didn’t get the crystal boba 2. Pandan, Pandan, Pandan -Didn’t get crystal boba - replaced with boba 3. Jaded - Didn’t get lychee jelly - replaced with boba I wish they had all these options without the toppings. When I opted these out, I’m just paying the topping price for no reason. Ideally people Now the review. 1. We’a Got Oolong This had lots of potential. The tea was a wee bit watered down. If the tea was stronger this would be my go to drink. The sea salt creama is so good and yummy. 2. Pandan, Pandan, Pandan This was disappointing. Didn’t really taste like pandan at all. ): Maybe if I got 50% it would, but 25% it was just faint jasmine tea taste. 3. Jaded This was my ultimate favorite. It tastes like the honeydew I got from Pekeo! This will be my go to item and it does not disappoint. Boba review. When I got the boba replacement it was just bland boba. It’s a bit hard chewing for my liking. It didn’t soak the sugar/honey so it was lackluster compare to other boba places. So I am not going to opt to swap to boba. Overall verdict it’s good and have potential! If they fix the kinks of longer stronger tea taste and maybe not set the toppings? Maybe be like “recommended toppings”. I know that crystal boba isn’t as popular. This may cause inefficiency on the order system if this is a constant swapping— As a former boba barista. 3.8 stars ! I would try the In my feels and taro next time. I would def go back for the honeydew jaded drink forsure.
Yay for a boba spot in Central East Austin! We walked over late last night and were impressed by the cute space, the nice staff, and the freshness of the tea! Edit— knocked off a star because they are out of boba about half of the time I stop by. I like regular boba feel like a shop like this should always have some ready.
The service is always fast, and there’s plenty of space. There’s a few tables and free wifi. My favorite so far has to be jade and the pom perignon. Both are refreshing to me. I also tried their sweet cheeks and pandan. The sweet cheek is a bit too fragrant for my taste, but it’s still good. I didn’t like the pandan one since it tasted like a water down matcha latte. Most of these drinks come with different types of boba in them. You can always ask to sub them or take them out. You can also adjust the sugar levels too.
I think Terrazzo has the most refined flavors in ATX! I love my drinks here, but they always seem to be out of something I want to order. The last two times I've been, there are multiple crema options available on their in-person menu and their Square site (matcha, black sesame, taro, ube, banana), but only one crema available in the shop. It's fine to not have it, but just take it off the menu, so we're not left disappointed. :( Otherwise, so yummy.

I’ve been coming to Terrazzo since 2023, and used to be a frequent customer when I lived closer. Giving 3 stars not for the quality of drink (the drinks are yummy), but for the poor customer service. My partner and I were just there today (9/20) sitting waiting for our drinks (the girls working had to make more boba so we waited for about 15 minutes). We overheard one of the girls talking about how if she doesn’t want to make a drink, she’ll tell a customer they’re out of the ingredients. She also was talking about how sometimes she’ll turn people away and say they’re closed when she doesn’t feel like working. The last thing my partner and I overheard her say was she’ll close shop and come back the next morning and realize she forgot to lock the door. She was speaking loud enough so everyone in the store that weren’t wearing headphones could hear her. For reference, my partner and I were sitting by the entrance. I never write reviews but this really threw us off. When the owners are working, everything about Terrazzoo is amazing. P.S. I highly recommend “I’m Toasted” & “In My Feels”

Came on a Saturday. Two drinks took over twenty five minutes. Staff is friendly. Parking lot is completely full, you won’t have a spot. Shop is clean. Not too many seating areas. Few outlets.
