ADA wheelchair accessible. Nice stage and cute venue. Great location inside Alamo Drafthouse. Great shows. Food was typical bar food with Alamo Drafthouse menus too.

Went to The Highball to see ZooDust! It was so much fun! It's spacious with plenty of room on the dance floor. Bartenders were friendly and the drinks were good. I know they put on other events here. Definitely check out Drag Queen Trivia night. Such a good time!

We came here on May 4th for a Star Wars event. Never had been inside. I liked the decoration and the way the stage is set up. We came with the kids right before bedtime in their pajamas. They got to see several star wars characters. Didn't get to try the foods or the drinks but decently will come back one day. There was only one bar tender, and they're was a line to get drinks. It is understandable since it was a weekday

It was my first time checking out the bar. I'm glad a 90s group was performing there that night cause it was good music to listen too while chilling with a friend. I liked the seating area as well. Even though I didn't dance the dance floor was a decent size.

I love this place, but seriously, PLEASE do some thing about the spotlights blinding everybody shining from the stage. They are completely unnecessary and none of the staff there appear to be able to do anything about them.

Fun place to go to as a group. Most of the time their website is down so you can't sign up early online. Sometimes they host events so you can't get a room during that which is frustrating. It's hard to tell when those events are since their website barely works. You might end up like us and drive over an hour to go to celebrate a birthday just to be told to wait for an hour because of an event going on downstairs.

I wish I could tell you that I had a great time. However, I guess this karaoke bar doesn't really cater to solo karaoke people. Because you at least gotta have a two people minimum. so even though I wanted to have a fun time by myself, I was denied being able to pay for the karaoke room. I don't really understand why if I'm willing to pay the actual charges for it. But I guess that's the way things go.

This was my first time at the highball. I went to see the mortified show. The show was great. The venue was amazing. The bar staff left a lot to be desired. They weren’t very helpful or kind. Would it kill them to smile at the customers.

I went to The Highball last night to see Mortified, and the show itself was fantastic. Unfortunately, the bar staff really dampened the evening. The bartenders were noticeably rude, snappy, and dismissive when taking orders. It made the atmosphere less welcoming than it should have been. The entertainment was great, but the service definitely needs work.

The man working the bar on Sunday is just horrible. Not sure why he is in hospitality. We came to the Alamo a bit early and figured we could just grab a drink at the bar. It was 10 mins before opening and the man told us to wait for service, which is understandable. Opening time comes around and he is no where to be seen. He shows up 15m after opening, stinking of cigarettes, and doesn’t ask us what we want. He just throws a couple of menus our way. After he pours my beer, he asks me and my partner for our IDs. I show him mine and then he asks for my partner’s even though she isn’t drinking. They go back and forth on why that’s necessary and then he just says he will let it slip. Just all around not friendly and acting like we’re a nuisance for hanging out at the bar before our movie started. Fair to say I will be hanging out elsewhere next time.

The venue is nice and the entertainment is cool but what really rubbed me wrong was that all tabs have an automatic 18% gratuity added and they didn't tell me nor did they have it written on the menu. My drink was priced at $13 and came to $16.60 i tipped $3. When I asked about the price difference the bar tender pulled a small notice teepee from behind the bar and informed me that the menus arnt updated yet but that the 18% gratuity was added to call bills. Then he put the info teepee back behind the bar where no one can see it. Seems illegal and sketchy
