The best pho in Austin with zero hesitation! Their broth is not like others. Very authentic and flavorful. Also, try out their Coldcut Bahn Mi. Their baguettes are crisp outside, soft inside. The paté dubbed inside is so good. If you love pho and Vietnamese food, you shouldn't miss this place.
The One Pho serves up delicious, authentic Vietnamese flavors in a cozy setting. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, paired perfectly with a rich peanut sauce. The Pho Combi was hearty, with a great mix of meats, while the Pho Tai Bo Vien had tender steak and tasty meatballs in a rich, aromatic broth. Friendly service and quality food make this spot a must-visit for pho lovers!
This is probably the best pho I’ve had in austin and I’ve been searching for 4 years! I came in for lunch today and they were slammed but they greeted me quickly and sat me quickly. My server was phenomenal and the food came out so fast. I got shrimp spring rolls and they were so fresh and the peanut sauce was perfect. I also got P1 beef pho and the broth was SO good. I am SO impressed! Thank you!!
Freshly pressed sugarcane and kumquat drink. The iced Vietnamese coffee was also delectable. Had the grilled pork banh mi sandwich with the veggies on the side. Also tried the hot skillet combo --my fave was the meatball and tomato sauce. This was a wonderful find for a Saturday lunch. They have weekday lunch specials.
Service is super slow or at least it was for me but the food was great! My friend got the wagyu pho and I got the lemongrass Banh Mi . They were a little heavy on the mayo but otherwise really fresh and delicious, will come back again but probably order to go so I’m not waiting 30min for a server
This is my first time coming here. Let me tell ya, the prices are shockingly high. However, the food is worth the price. It was by far the best food in this category in the area. I like my Vietnamese food this is number one place to eat. It beats all others in the Austin and surrounding areas. Try it once you will be coming back. Small quaint place a simple first date place. The staff is super lovely and professional.
Trying Bo nhung Dam (ribeye hotpot with vinegar broth) with my family. The meat, seafood and veggies are so fresh and delicious, we all loved the rolling style and dipping in the authentic fermented anchovy sauce. The broth is sweet and sour from vinegar and coconut juice with lemongrass and other herbs in there so it bring a super fresh, aromatic flavor and tenderness to the meat. The service was very nice and friendly. I got the fresh pressed kumquat sugar cane but forgot to take the picture, and it was really good too. We definitely will be back to try more of their other dishes. Maybe a crunchy baked catfish for next time cause we loved their authentic sauce (mam nem) and the rolling style.
From the first sip to the last, this was some of the best pho I've ever had! The anise flavor was perfectly balanced with the steaming beef broth, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. I'm blown away by this place! And after eating here, I asked several of my Vietnamese friends (both born in Vietnam) what they thought about this place and they both said that the pho at The One Pho smells and tastes like high quality pho they have had in Vietnam :) I ate here two days in a row so I could try the pho and then the Bún bò xào sa (lemongrass beef with rice vermicelli, shredded carrots, lettuce, and peanuts)... wow wow wow!!! So fresh, so tasty, and so healthy tasting, and feeling. I can't recommend this place enough!
Absolutely love this place! The garlic fish sauce wings were some of the best food I've ever had, they're very quick with bringing the food out, and the staff is super polite. The worst thing I can say is that this place is way too close to where I live, because I will definitely be back often.
I got the hot stone pho. The service was quick and she checked in on me often. The atmosphere was nice, next to Costco, not too busy, not too loud, and clean interior. I just wanted to experience hot stone pho, it’s good - simple ingredients, and fresh. For me it felt like Vietnamese hot pot, with few ingredients. The hot stone is worth trying, although one time is good enough. You have to try it once just to try it, but moving forward I’ll be satisfied with a normal pho dac biet for lower price.
4 big eaters, 2 who've spent time in Asia, 1 extensively in Vietnam. The menu was large, and included both traditional appetizer and drink selections. No bia hoi/bia tuoi here, though! But they even had flan on offer for dessert. We started with fresh spring rolls (pork ond shrimp) which were huge. 3 had the ribeye pho, and I did traditional dry noodles with sauce and condiments. Everything was fresh ingredients, big portions, and attentive service. 2 couldn't finish and took the rest as takeaway. When over 1/2 the paying customers are Vietnamese themselves, you know you are on to A Good Thing.
Quick service and good food! The portion size was great, I got a large pho and Thai tea. Would recommend.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in the Austin metro. I've been looking all over town reviewing Vietnamese restaurants to find quality equal to or better than I found at home in Houston. This is that place. The best pho I've had was their Bone Marrow Hot Stone Pho. Rich, savory, and DEEP bone broth plus house made noodles. The best Banh Mi I've had was their Coldcut Style Banh Mi. Amazing baguettes, pate, and ample meats. A new dish I tried was their Bò Né Combo (House Favorite Combo), which blew me and partner away. The Vietnamese sausage & meatball were flavor explosions. Their Kumquat Sugarcane Juice was the best I've had as well. Sure it can be a bit pricey for some items, but it's on par for Austin pricing and all the items were worth EVERY PENNY. I cannot say more good things about this place. I live closer to Austin staples like Fresh Bowl, Pho Phong Luu, Sip Pho, Bep Saigon, Tan My, and Pho Saigon, but no longer feel the need to go to these restaurants anymore. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin now.
Overall: 4.6/5 [dine In] We visited on two separate occasions and left both times feeling this is a solid Vietnamese restaurant. Service is consistently great, with veggies brought out promptly. The menu is extensive, so we are already looking forward to coming back to explore more dishes. One thing to note is that the veal rare steak pho and thit kho quet va com chay chao are no longer available, though they remain on the menu. The One Pho Hot Stone Special ($38): Sliced wagyu beef, beef short rib, flank brisket and poached egg. If you visit, try this at least once. The broth alone was so good that we didn't need to add any extra condiments, and the quality of the wagyu and short rib made it genuinely impressive and well worth the price. Pho Combo: Rare Beef, Brisket, Tripe, Flank and Beef Ball/Pho Dac Biet ($16.45) + Fresh Rice Noodles ($1.50): The fresh rice noodles fall somewhere between wide and regular thin rice noodles. While decent, it was not as flavorful or satisfying as the hot stone special, and the meat simply does not compare to the wagyu and short rib. We had to add Sriracha and hoisin sauce to give it more flavor. Bo La Lot ($24): Everything came out super fresh, and the banh hoi was exceptional, even folded into spring rolls. The bo la lot was enjoyable, though we have had better elsewhere. Our one gripe was the portion of meat, as only ten pieces did not feel like enough to pair with all the banh hoi and spring rolls. Hu Tieu Kho Trong Sot Thit ($15.95): Don't let the presentation fool you. The sauce makes it look unappetizing but it tasted absolutely delicious once you mix everything together. It was full of flavor and the best hu tieu kho we have had in Austin so far. House Favorite Combo/Bo Ne Dac Biet ($19.95): The baguette was fresh and even better when dipped in the sauce and pate. Everything on the plate came together nicely, hitting that umami sweet spot without being overpowering or salty. Fresh Kumquat Sugarcane Juice ($6.95 S / $9.45 L): Very refreshing and a great way to round out the meal.
This is one of our go to Pho place. Waitstaff are very attentive and polite. I love the combo pho broth and my partner wanted to try something different. It didn't disappoint.
Incredibly high quality and fresh food! The broth is to die for. I had the smoked brisket pho and wagu beef hot pot, would highly recommend both. Lastly, the service is so considerate and attentive, great recommendations and very prompt! Great place to eat solo or with a big group!
Very friendly staff who provided excellent customer service. I have to say sometimes they are a little pushy about having you order quickly but their menu is so big, which makes it hard to choose right away. The baked bone marrow is tasty, just the right amount of seasoning and super soft. The crunchy baked catfish requires a pre order. The prices listed on their website are incorrect. You can choose from small, medium, or large fish depending on the number of people in your party. The meal comes with spring roll paper, dipping sauce of your choice, and a big plate of veggies. I wished that they gave us more of each veggie instead of just romaine lettuce. The fish was super flaky and soft. I had 4 adults in my party and it was enough for us along with two appetizers. I heard from a friend that they make fresh noodles in house but you must request for them. Highly recommend this place even through their prices are a little higher than some places.
Literally went twice in a roll in two days! Big serving size. Pork chop is amazing. Meat sauce on top of dry noodle blew my mind!
I have tried their soup and vermicelli bowls. The food is fresh and tasty. The place is clean and staff is friendly and attentive. I love their beef soup the best. My new favorite destination when craving for Vietnamese food.
Great lunch spot. Very fast service. Delicious pho Had the classic pho w rare beef And regulat noodles. (You can choose homemade noodles as well I believe)
such a good price for a large portion like that, love the food, love the restaurant, love the staffs, fast service too, no wait on table only downpoint was had to line up to use the restroom, other than that, perfect amazing place for vietnamese food dine in
If you’re looking for the best Pho noodles in Austin, you have to try this place! My mom, who is Vietnamese, couldn’t stop raving about the fresh noodles. She also loved the broth flavor. And the meat quality is top-notch. It’s a bit pricier than your average Pho spot, but it’s definitely worth it for the higher quality ingredients and hot stone cooking. I highly recommend it to everyone!
This is The ONE Pho place I will keep on going back to. Absolutely love The One Pho! All of the ingredients used to make their Pho is so fresh. I like to get the Brisket and rare beef pho and it never disappoints. Absolutely appreciate that they give a plethora of topping and they give a good amount. Their bread is to die for. The bone marrow is also amazing. Good service and location. Affordable menu options. Can’t go wrong with this place!

The pho was delicious! The broth is flavorful and the egg rolls are good. Definitely recommend trying this spot out.
The One Pho This was my first time visiting The One Pho after seeing it ranked among the top pho restaurants near my area code. The restaurant is in a beautiful, modern building with a large, spacious interior and seating for over 20 tables with different arrangements for various party sizes. The authentic ambiance makes it feel like an elevated pho dining experience. Minh was my waiter and the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. He seemed to predict my needs, and the staff showed great teamwork with quick pre-bussing as I finished my plates. I loved the pho topping presentation and the hot stone bowl. The soup arrived piping hot with a delicious aroma. The broth had a unique, rich flavor with multiple flavor profiles, and the thick rectangular rice noodles made the soup easy to enjoy. Portions were generous. Overall, a great experience that engages all the senses. I would definitely come back again. 🍜

Omg! The five course beef! This is so far the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been. The quality of the meat in a hotpot served with the wrap and the fish anchovies sauce and the liver patte! The service was good we had a late weekend Sunday lunch. Clean and spacious enough. Everything was good food wise. Coming back!
3/16/2024: We went to this restaurant again with some friends and shared the special fried fish. They don't necessarily have this on the menu, but we heard through various groups that you can place an order ahead of time. You definitely want to do that in order to reserve a fish for when you dine in. We also tried the hot stone pho, the fish sauce chicken wings, and coconut shrimp. In this visit the actual hot stone PHO was really hot which they have signs all over the restaurant that tells you this. In fact, this is probably the right amount of heat that my wife prefers, so take that for what it's worth. The broth was good and hot and flavorful. The garlic fish sauce chicken wings was surprisingly pretty good and the shrimp has the green rice puffs around it which made it very unique and also good. The star of this evening was the fish. Again, there aren't many restaurants that have this dish in the area. The only place that we can compare this to is Saigon block in Dallas. I would definitely recommend if you can reserve a fish to try it out. They give you all of the fixings, dipping sauce, and rice paper that you need to have a feeling meal. The only blemish of the night was the service was a little off. Maybe it was because they had a lot of customers that had ordered or reserved a fish and a little overwhelmed. They brought the fish out to our table and we had to wait for the plates and bowls for the dipping sauce. Not to mention, the place that they gave us to roll the fish was an appetizer plate which was a bit too small for us to roll. I highly recommend the hot stone pho and the fried fish if you come next time. Original review: With the many different places around the area, this place stands out really for their bo ne. This is a sizzling plate of French inspired culinary dish yet much better. It has beef, eggs, pate and shumai. On the other hand, the pho is actually decent. The broth came out hot and the raw eye round steak was very tender. They really load the banh mi with meat as well. If you're in the area and need some good pho this place definitely is one to try.
I would like to give the food five stars. The grilled catfish and hot stone pho tasted so good. We also liked the veal salad. However, if it’s not because of the staff who made the reservation over the phone, I would definitely give the entire experience 5 stars. Initially I called one week before to make a lunch reservation and order a grilled a fish as I knew it would take them 2 hours to prepare. Due to the upcoming winter storm on the reservation date, I called again 3 days ago to change the reservation to one day before. The lady who answered the call was very rude and barely understood me. I was asked to repeat my phone number 3 times. I’m not a fast talker but I had to slow down each time so she can note down the numbers. I clearly told her it’s a date change instead of a new reservation. Was very worried if she really understood me so I tried to clarify again. But she just hang up on me without saying thank you or goodbye, which seemed pretty rude for a F&B staff. I called again immediately and one gentleman answered the phone this time. He told me he got it and would prepare the fish on the new reservation date for us. I recommended the food to a few friends after the dining yesterday . Today I got a call from the restaurant asking why I didn’t show up. I was so surprised that it happened…I said I called so many times to get the date changed and we did come yesterday for lunch. I totally recommend the food of this place if you walk in and have a face to face conversation with the staff. However, I have to say calling to make a reservation if you want grilled fish is a challenge. The communication is a huge problem.
This place is very good, a tad pricy but you are paying for quality and the experience. You can get the regular bowls of Pho and that'll only run you 15 bucks. Now, if you want the experience, you can get the S3+ or higher bowls, which are a bit more pricier bc you are paying for the experience. They bring out a nice hot stone bowl of beef broth with a side of beef bone marrow with some bread toast with pate. You eat the bone marrow on the slices of toast with pate on them, and that makes the marrow taste buttery, and once you are done earing the marrow, you can put the finished bone in your broth. All the rest of the pho ingredients you can just throw into the steaming or boiling broth, and it all tastes great. Would I go for the experience again? Yes, but I think I can stick with the regular pho bowls. I think they are one of the best Pho offerings around, so I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Food was great and yummy! Inside were clean and seems like open kitchen which is nice. but i saw the chefs were using the phone with gloves and once they got the order, they just started it. Please change your gloves or use ur phone without gloves and wash ur hands before starting the cook. The waiters were kind and friendly but they didn’t know what they have to do. Just walk around but never checked it each tables. Also they didnt bring the check, so we had to go and pay at the front. But they suppose to bring the check and we can pay at the table! Anyway, foods is good 😊
The place was pretty solid. I would come back. The food was very good. My daughter and I really enjoyed it. We came at lunch. They weren't super busy inside but they must do a lot of doordash stuff and the service was kind of crappy. It took forever to get a refill on water and they didn't even come and check on us
When we went to the place it looked very busy which is a good sign of good food. Prices are great the only thing that is preventing me from giving them a full 5 stars nowhere on the menu was a plate for fried rice.
This place was very busy during Sunday lunch, so there was a wait time and staff was overloaded. The egg rolls and pho were solid. It was not the best pho I’ve ever had in Austin though. It didn’t have that much meat. They did have a comprehensive menu, so maybe other things are better.
It was good! Very fresh veggies, soft bread, a little toasty, well flavored tofu. However the vegetarian pho was okay. Not much to it. Bahn mi was really good though.
The One Pho is a great spot for Vietnamese food! We ordered a variety of dishes to try a bit of everything, and it was all very tasty—fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and well-prepared. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Delicious food, great service, and definitely a place we’d come back to when we’re craving good pho and more!

Pretty good pho, not mind-blowing, but definitely not bad. Tried the brisket pho and veggie pho- the broth was a bit on the sweeter side but still tasty. They offer a good variety of vegetarian options. I’d come back to try more dishes.

Ordered spring rolls and lemongrass grilled pork Banh mi for pick up. Food: The spring rolls were fresh and tasted as it should. Spring rolls, in and of themselves are either fresh or old/stale. The peanut sauce is what would set one spring roll over another. Here, the sauce was flavorful but unremarkable. I’d order it again if I came here again. The grilled lemon grass pork Banh mi was better than the average one in Austin despite missing the core ingredient, cilantro. If I was in this area, I’d come here to order it again. Service: ordered online and the rep’s be ready in 20 mins. In reality, it was ready in 32 mins. A little inconvenient but the restaurant was 3/4 full on a Wednesday night at 7p. Lots of Viet peeps dining here, that’s a good sign for a Viet restaurant. Atmosphere: the restaurant is modern and clean. Part of the kitchen is open and it has high ceilings. Read a review where the OP said they didn’t like the pho and insinuated that that must be why the restaurant has “liquid flavorings” on the table. OP said she’d has never seen that before… I included a photo of the liquid flavorings. When I saw soy sauce, hoisin, fish sauce, sriracha, etc, my first thought was this place is legit.
The staff was friendly and seated us promptly, which was a good start. Unfortunately, the dining experience became uneven once food service began. Our dishes came out at very different times, leaving some of us sitting and watching others eat both at the beginning and the end of the meal, which really disrupted the experience. Another frustration was that several items listed on their online menu are no longer available, including the beer and wine selection. That was disappointing, as the availability of drinks factored into our decision to dine here in the first place. The menu clearly needs updating to reflect what’s actually offered. As for the food, the banh mi and pho were good, but my entrée was a letdown. It was advertised as two pork chops (end cut), but what arrived was essentially one chop plus scraps, and the main chop was mostly bone, roughly 60% bone, leaving very little edible meat. Overall, decent flavors, but watch out for cheap cuts of meat and an outdated online menu. With some fixes, this place could easily improve.
I was excited to try this place after several people called this the most authentic place in the city. That may be true but the food was just fine. Not as good as several other places. Quite bland across the board. We upgraded to the hand made noodles, which were good, but honestly I think I prefer the traditional noodles better. The grilled pork needed seasoning. Service was very slow, but friendly. If I lived nearby, I would probably go again, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Ordered ahead of time to make sure we didn’t have to wait long since we had two babies in the car with us. Instead had to wait an extra 30 minutes with two screaming babies in the car. Saw people come in sit down, order food and get their food before we did. They told us on the phone it was busy so it might be a wait so we gave them ample time. Total wait time: 1 hr for two plates and a cup of broth. Ordered the steak rare/medium rare since we were taking it to go and we’re less than 10 minutes away. Came home to a nice dry and rubbery steak that looked like a mess or someone threw up all over it. Maybe would’ve been better if we dined in but due to this horrible experience, never coming back and can’t recommend to anyone.
Went to dine in once and had a good experience. Good portion size. Then ordered to-go today, this is the portion of meat. Way smaller than dine in. The tiny piece on the fork is all the beef that we got. It was literally 3 beef slices.

The server put down a glass of water with no ice and did not engage me. I was ready to order immediately, but he never said anything to me. The service wasn’t the worst experience ever but was just extremely weird. The food was all average and the portions did not seem correct at all for the pricing extremely overpriced and just not a good experience when I get far is me treating myself and I couldn’t wait to get out of there unfortunately. :/
