Met a friend of mine while visiting from Ireland and was advised to come for a meal while I was around Staten Island. The food quality brought me back to where I was from and tasted better than whatever my mum used to make! To say that I was impressed by the lamb chops is to say absolutely nothing. Great vibe. The place, not too loud, not too quiet. Fountain was quite deadly. Will definitely recommend my mates to stop by when they take the ferry from Manhattan. The fellas are doing a great job

The restaurant's elegant decor creates an enjoyable ambience for any occasion. The food was delicious. I loved the sweet duck and the mixed meat grill along with the potatoes and mushrooms. Music and atmosphere was relaxing and energetic. Owner was very nice in assisting us in planning our next event with Chinar.

I came all the way from London to visit Chinar! I had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff at Chinar are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist and make your experience special. The restaurant's attention to detail extends to its elegant decor, creating a pleasant ambience for any occasion. My favourite meal was the lamb chops, alongside the potatoes! Their food goes above and beyond any restaurant I have been to before. Couldn't recommend enough!

Placed 4 and not 5 because portions are small fort he banquet parties. I will not reccomended to order banquet there because of this. Individual orders are great and you will enjoy yummy food.

The dinner was tasty. The service was good. There was no bartender but the waitress served me the largest glasses of Georgian wine. I would go back. The mash potatoes were bland.

I have understood the borch soup is with meat and the beet and bones soup... so in this place I ordered a borcht soup and it was only the beet with more beet chopped and with more beet slices and more beet cubs and smashed beet, and nothing else on it. The goat meat tasted like old, musty, and greasy, the rice was hard to eat. The service was horrible, the waitress tamit or ( something like that ) was on her phone in the corner, she didn't offered us water or any drink, ( one guy he did it because he saw us when he was on his way to the bar area) the old lady with glasses she also was in the corner with her phone and she saw us we were asking for helping but she ignored us, we felt bad and uncomfortable here but we were very starved so we didn't have other options plus it was raining so we waited like for 15 minutes until our waitress came.... NOTE: the restaurant was empty, we were only me and my partner.
