Best takeout in the area of Sheepshead Bay, very quick with delivery too. My go to is the chicken with broccoli in that good brown sauce. Egg rolls great pork dumpling’s too.

I recently ordered takeout from the New House Garden Chinese Restaurant and was very pleased with the food quality. I ordered around 8-9 different dishes and was pleasantly surprised by how well everything tasted. None of the dishes were oily or greasy, and the sauces were perfectly balanced. The takeout process was seamless and the food was ready for pickup at the designated time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they packaged everything up nicely for easy transport. Overall, I would highly recommend the New House Garden Chinese Restaurant for takeout. It's a true gem in the neighbourhood and a great find. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

This was one of the best Chinese takeout meals I've had in a very long time. I've been here before, so I was expecting good things but tonight was just phenomenal. The food was ready right away, the price was great, my order was perfect, everything tasted wonderful. I tried the House Special Chow Mein and it was out-of-this-world good. Thank you!

They are very understanding workers and are very kind. I only order from new house garden, Delicious hot meals and they always add a little extra to my serving. Amazingly Fast delivery, i never have to wait more then thirty minutes and delivery is free. I enjoy there vegetable Lo Mein as much as there sesame chicken. They are always on point ,Greatly consider new house garden.... They are the best in the biz!

I usually order simple stuff like Singapore noodles. Tastes great and that's all I can really ask for. The place looks a bit broken down and only has like 2 tables, but it's not a spot meant for dining in anyway. As long as the food is good, I'm happy. I'm taking a few points off because sometimes I have to ask for sauces or I won't get any.

Food is ok. I ordered beef Chow Fun. It was lacking on souse, all noodles stuck in one big piece and you have to cut them with the knife. But the price is good. You will not get any souse unless you ask . And the place itself has a huge room for improvement. Very uninviting environment.

Time to let go of this place now😔disappointing, I found stuff in my food before when I ordered that I would just throw out and waste but this was next level gross. Not even mosquitos are as big as this thing👎👎the food is good until it comes with a bug 😣nice ppl and service tho just probably not clean…

The food is great but they have a tendency to overcharge. Ordered what would amount to 18.24 but i did sub pork fried rice for white rice so I expected an up charge. Bill came to 21.90... so they charged me 3.66 for the substitution even though the menu difference would be 2$. And the free soda wasn't there either. The food is good but not worth being taken advantage of.

I called the restaurant and inform them of this and they refused to replace or refund. They said they make it like that and if anyone has had Chinese food knows that’s not how it’s made it’s just an excuse for poor fool quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place for its food or customer service. Update: I also ordered the sweet and sour chicken which I thought was okay but it made my kids sick. I’ll be reporting them.
