The food has definitely improved since the last couple of years. I refused to eat there for the last couple of years but I gave them a chance and I am impressed. Whatever you guys are doing please keep it up. I have missed a good sonic!!
Sonic is a fun and convenient spot for fast food, drinks, and classic drive-in treats. The menu has a great variety—from burgers and hot dogs to shakes and slushes—and everything tastes fresh and satisfying. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the drive-in experience adds a nostalgic, fun touch. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or treating yourself to a snack, Sonic consistently delivers a tasty, enjoyable experience.
The atmosphere is good it takes a little too long to get your food on my opinion quality of the hamburgers has already gone down but other than that it's okay
First visit to a Sonic. Food was mediocre, even for a "fast food" joint. Burger sloppy, fries overdone, milkshake was too thick to pull thru the tiny-diameter straw. Service was quick, friendly. Sonic is different than any other fast food restaurant I've been to mainly because of the setup. You drive up and park in a small stall, with a huge interactive menu panel beside the driver's door. My wife sitting beside me had difficulty reading the selections due to her perspective of the panel's size and location. There is an impressive amount of menu selections available and this takes up a lot of physical space on the board. After finally deciding on the menu, you push a red button on the bottom of the board, and a disembodied voice from a speaker answers your questions about sizes, condiments, etc, and you pay via plastic card slot or "tap". Within a very few minutes your food is delivered at your vehicles door. Aside from the awkwardly cumbersome selection routine, a favorable experience. Perhaps a menu board directly in front of the vehicle and a button near the drivers door to summon service would be easier? We decided to make a return trip to sample more of your menu was in order. All in all, 4 stars!
Food was just ok. Tots were room temperature at best and extremely greasy, limeade slush was awesome, burger was thrown together, no extra pickles as requested but charged for, no napkins or mints, and of course no ketchup. When I called them back out to bring me some, I sat for 10 minutes ignored. Called them back, she said just one second. It was me and one other car, plus one car in the drive thru. I typically love this sonic but it wasn't up to par this time. Do better.
Often the shakes/ice cream I want are unavailable. Every time I order, they never put the sauce in the bag that I order. They take forever and get my order wrong some times. I will say that the food, once it is made and sent over is good.
Disappointed in the food quality and freshness. The tots and burgers 🍔 were lukewarm when they were brought to the car. Heated the burgers in our microwave and placed the tots into our air fryer. After we heated the food it was tasty. The pickelrita was delicious as well as the chocolate shake.
The food is mediocre, overpriced, rarely fresh, the app is almost useless and the amount of food is on average, half size... it has become a stop and get a drink at half price(which would be normal price compared to other fast food shops) using 1 allowable reward at a time.
Their breakfast burritos, they make small. It's good, just to small. The one in springtown makes is the perfect size.
Been going to this location for years, used to be great, lately it's been lacking IMO. Could be corporate, could be employees.. either way, we shouldn't be paying More money for less portion than we used to get! Not to mention constant order errors and less portion than you pay for. Gets old paying $12 for a triple smash burger, for it to only be a double and it's smaller than the regular single sonic burger,and the Side of tots only being half full.... I'm sorry but as a huge fan of this restaurant for a long time, this is just sad to see. I hope this comment is seen by the right people. I promise this is tough love, and I do hope y'all can figure this out and stick around for many more years to come!
I have given this sonic several chances. The first time we went, we waited 15 mins for our order.... the problem, employees outside hanging out with someone who pulled up. One of the employees had profanity on the jacket he was wearing. Not what I want to see when I'm with my kids. This was months ago. The most recent trips, we still have to wait for what feels like forever when you are hungry or thirsty. I believe our wait was 10 mins. We had 2 drinks.... thats it. Nothing fancy.
I ordered with Uber Eats. I got all my food but 0 sauces I asked for. I was told I have to come up there and get them. Put them in the bag, you're clearly looking at the ticket.
The ice cream had a tart sour flavor to it. I also had no idea the cup was broken until I took a bite and found the big piece of styrofoam mixed in. Found the other piece halfway down. How do you not notice the cup was damaged after mixing if you started with a good cup? Guess common sense has gone right out the window. Never giving my money to this place ever again.
Waited 25 min for a sundae and a 44 ounce Diet Coke. We had to call back to see if it was ready and when they brought it out the sundae was melted. We got a refund, wasted 25 min and didn’t get our order.
Food establishments, do better. Give out condiments with food, especially if the customer ordered it, otherwise what is the point of those options on the app? On rare occasions I order, regardless of sonic location I usually regret it and never receiving condiments is one of the frequent and easily fixed issues.
Everytime I go there it sucks Went today 2-12-26 I sat outside for 20 mins for a employee to come tell me they have to write orders down. Gave her my order, I told her my order in the exact thing I wanted I wanted a number 6 hotdog, with fries and a Dr pepper. I get my order was told it was 6 bucks didnt make sense so I just paid and left. Get home and see they gave me a burger with everything on it and i wont eat it because its doused in mayo and it was so full of mayo the bun was getting soggy. Wont be back
Everytime I have come here for the past 6 months. You wait 30 minutes for your meal, the people are extremely unhappy. I am currently sitting here in spot 4 and the lady who just took my order was completely unprofessional, disinterested, and made me feel as though I’m an inconvenience for being here. This will be my last time here.
Absolute terrible experience got my burger wrong when I sent it back and asked for mustard. They smeared it on everything I sent it back to me I asked for my money and the manager just argued with me. I will never go back to this terrible sonic drive-in restaurant.
Spent an entire lunch hour waiting for them to get my food to me - first they took it to the wrong stall - second go round - kid comes out with wrong g order - 30 plus minutes later - after I call from the stall - they come out with an incorrect order and it’s cold. No time to deal with it any longer - No lunch eaten- time wasted - late to meeting - Money wasted and this is as kind as I can possibly be
I pulled into sonic around 11:05 with one singular car in the parking lot aside from myself. and I had to press the button about 10 times and call the store before someone decided to take my order at around 11:17. In the background when they finally decided to take my order I heard laughter and could see them inside trying to hid from being seen outside of the windows through the reflection of the circle mirror on the wall inside. Very disappointed.
ordered a sundae, fries and limeade. waited over 45 minutes and finally told them to cancel and was told i had to go through the app help to request a refund since the app is run by a 3rd party. did that and had to give them every piece of info confirmation number address time ordered total. they should be able to get all that crap from the confirmation number. deleted my app. not worried about the rewards i had on there as I would never get them anyways and i'm not going here ever again. don't have the time to wait.
Very unsatisfied with the service I received today. I was there JUST under an hour to get my full order. Originally, they forgot to put a burger in the order, but everything else was correct. I informed them of this and was told they would bring it out in a moment, which was no issue to me because I knew it was a large order. After waiting for about 15 or so minutes I buzzed again and told them again that I was still waiting. They asked for the details on the burger, and I told them. After waiting for around ANOTHER 15 minutes, I buzzed again, they took the info for it again, and it was brought out 5 minutes later. When I checked the burger, it was obvious it was quickly thrown together with the sauce and toppings covering half the patty and the rest spilling into the box. I had asked to speak to the manager about the situation and while discussing it with him, I felt absolutely no empathy from him. While talking to him, he himself said "I thought they brought it out to you the first time," which only tells me that he's not paying attention to his employees OR his customers. No compensation was given, only a couple empty "I'm sorry"s from the manager. "I'm sorry" doesn't fix the half-melted shake and semi-cold food I had sitting in my passenger seat due to being there so long. I feel as though my time was not valued by them at all. Update - June 2025 - ordered mobile. Drinks came out and were so bad they could not be consumed - waited 20 mins for replacements and when I had the black shirt Mngt come out to discuss she was RUDE! No apology, simply rude. 2 star review from three years ago downgraded to 1! ——- No joke - my burger came to me exactly like this. Bun was ripped and the burger was in 3 pieces - almost no lettuce (requested) - and extra mayo doesn’t mean drowned. Y’all can do better than this - my hard earned money down the drain as I couldn’t eat this. I posted the receipt in case the owners felt like this was lazy employees wasting my money and wouldn’t to make it right
Yet another incorrect order. No lettuce was the order. I know they heard me because there is a "no lettuce" sticker on the receipt. This has nothing but lettuce, no mayo, no tomato just lettuce. Thank you sonic for your excellent service. What a joke. I included pictures this time. This place is just the worst. The staff goes out of its way to mess up your food. I asked for no lettuce and got extra. No tomato's? 4 slices added to my sandwich. I ordered a burger and fries wacky pack. No toy and got a corn dog and tator tots. Why even order. Just pull up and they will just throw random food into your car! Can you not afford good people? I know you are making enough with your sky high prices. You'd think charging that much someone would check the order. Yet another review the owners will ignore and not do anything about. Save me the "we are sorry" and fix your restaurant. Maybe the next place will make food the way you order it.
