I ordered a kids meal with Honey Shrimp tonight with two veggie egg rolls, sweet and sour sauce, and passion tea. It was served with a pleasant smile and tasted delicious.
This is my favorite Panda Express! They have hot and sour soup that hits the spot and the food is fresh and good. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. Great being near APU/Citrus College!
Got my food fairly quickly. Alaina hooked up the portion size and was very friendly from when I was there till I left
The food and service at this panda is better than any panda I've been too. Always fresh at lunch time.
Today, I just had to have Panda Express. Thankfully, there was one at 850 Alosta, not far from my house. A tall, pretty young lady (they are all tall because I'm short) greeted me on the way in, and I ordered "The Plate" which included rice, noodles, and two sides. For most of the night before, I fantasized (and ordered) the Orange Chicken, which was a Panda Express specialty. For the second side, I ordered the String Bean Chicken Breast. Panda carries your choice of bottled drinks, and I selected a Coke from Mexico. The Orange Chicken was flavorful and juicy, paring well with the veggie taste of string beans. I love the brown rice that comes mixed with peas and carrots, while the noodles are great with Pandas' own seasoning. The restaurant is run by "by-the-book" management who continue to practice the strict Corona Virus cleaning procedures and wash the floor with a garden hose and strong germicide. But, when the sun goes down at the end of the day, it's the great Panda tradition of a good old family restaurant, an ingredient long lost in the fast food industry. Panda Express at the Citrus Crossing in Azusa...great dining for the whole family!
Thank you Karla for being really nice and going outside to offer us some fortunate cookies and being genuinely nice you made my mom feel welcome
After running errands today . I stop at Panda express on Alostra in Azusa. It was busy food was fresh. I was definitely satisfied.
I think we all know what we getting into when we order from fast food restaurants, so my reviews are always focused on the staff and ambience. This locations space is always clean, I'm always greeted when I walk in the door to pick up my mobile order, and my order is always correct and ready on time. 👍 I recommend the string bean chicken. I do not recommend the super greens because they are really salty.
We come every time our kid’s school has a fundraiser. I love that the fundraiser works at any Panda Express in the country (you have to order online). This one has always been easy to park at, is very clean, and the people are friendly. And my kid loves the giant circle table.
My mobile order was ready ahead of the scheduled time, but still the perfect temperature when I arrived. Also, the new bourbon chicken thing was outstanding. 10/10 no notes
I go because Karla is there. She is a hard worker, patient, detail oriented and always makes sure the order is correct. I really appreciated that especially when I have to bring two active kids to buy food. In terms of taste, food is usually ok, but today the cook did a great job on Teriyaki chicken. (Tuesday around 5pm) It was tender, juicy with perfect temperature - even my 3 year old daughter ate it. I think the cook’s name is Anoro or something. Thank you Panda Express.
This is store is very clean! Food is ready good , all the personal is really friendly, I haven’t use the restroom but, the lobby and kitchen looks clean
Great taste and friendly staff.
Good Service Clean Place And Manager Was So Nice.
I come here frequently and usually just grab my food to go, but this time I ate inside and I’m glad I did because I noticed so much more. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, as always. When we ordered, they asked for our name, which was a little different than usual, but Alinna behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming that it immediately felt positive. Once we sat down, I did notice a few tables with some leftover crumbs, but by the time we started eating, Alinna was already hustling around cleaning and wiping everything down. She was really on top of it. Her coworkers were cheerful, working together smoothly, and preparing fresh food nonstop. It honestly felt like watching a well-organized team in action. Their workflow was impressive. The manager was also visible, present, and engaged, which was great to see. Overall, a great visit. The team was on point, the service was warm, and the food was delicious. Great job to everyone working that day!
My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch here this past Sunday weekend. We both ordered two plates both with teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and chow-mein and sat inside. While eating we saw that the staff member Carla, was cleaning, organizing, throwing out the trash, and was just so energetic and positive while she was working. She smiled at us, and it just made such a nice moment of hospitality for us and we were impressed by her diligence, hand work, and self-motivation. It’s very nice to see this because it means that they care about the presentation and sanitation of their customers.
This Panda Express is amazing! The food is always hot, fresh, and flavorful. The Orange Chicken is my absolute favorite it’s perfectly crispy with the right balance of sweet and tangy. The Chow Mein and Fried Rice are also great sides that never disappoint.

Unfortunately took no pictures! Darn it! But MAN! Very good as per always! I wish they still had the Sweet Fire Chicken! But the Beijing Beef; FIRE! mmmmmm! Only complaint is: Wish it was a lil bit "fresher". I ordered the pick 3: Orange Chicken Kung Pao Chicken Beijing Beef; 1/2 chow mein & rice! Get some!
I placed my order and paid and I sat down and was waiting for my spingles to be cooked and they forgot all about me. He brought the spring rolls out, put them in the dish, handed some out to some other customers and didn't bring over my order to me. The guy that helped me was down serving other people and forgot all about me! Terrible service. If the employee can't remember that you had an order pending for 10 minutes!
Good food has always. The fried rice was a little dry.
Kids like the fried rice and the chow mein. We usually order the orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and broccoli and beef. Food taste good. The hot and sour soup is good too. Customer service needs improvement. Restrooms are not clean sometimes. Other than that it's a good fast food place.

They only had two dishes available; orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I had to wait about 10 minutes for some fried rice and it was only 9:35pm. The portions are small for what they charge.
Good food but manager barely gives enough food in plate to fill container. She is rude too! Other workers do great and serve fairly.
I saw this cook wearing no gloves n something about him kept my eye on him so I saw him pick something off the floor n toss it behind the frier then I seen him pick at the food n put it in his mouth and ate it. I told the manager n she said she was going to roll back the cameras I don't know what might be done by her but I hope it never happens again !
Before the COVID-19, I always liked the Panda Express. The portions were large, you had to be careful opening your box of Food, if you weren't careful you'd be wearing at least alittle of each item. When COVID-19 hit, I was transferred to 1 of 5, COVID-19 Special Supply Warehouse in Fontana, there was a Panda Express, just down the street. If I didn't know better you would think I was back in Fontana. I'll have to get back with you on how it tastes. Also I asked if there was soy sauce and napkins, she assured me that it had both. I never had a problem before, I got to my vehicle I'm glad I didn't put a tip her jar, things do happen. I had to go back inside. This kinda, sorta reminds me of being in Fontana. Small portions and the taste ??? If this was the only place open at night, I'd have to think really hard about getting something to eat here.
The food has suffered in recent years. Sometimes you get fried rice with mostly rice and no vegetables. Other times you get the "we don't carry that at this store" for staples of every Panda Express like Potstickers. This store never has the same items as in the online menu. Other stores do. It's better to go to an other store.
I asked for half vegetables and half chow mein in my bowl, and the employee misheard me and put fried rice. I said “no-“ and before I could say another word, she looked me directly in the eyes while dumping the rice back into the container. I really wasn’t trying to be a karen about it, but she treated me like I was.... it was awkward. Then when I asked for orange chicken, she gave me a very tiny amount compared to normal. She put the lid on and left to help other customers so I didn’t ask her to correct it, but almost $8 for this small amount of protein was not even close to worth it.

It's been horrible service for a while... But today was the worst experience!!!i ordered honey shrimps and teriyaki chicken and they give me honey shrimp and orange chicken ... After I explain them what is the difference the replace it with right order they put everything in a bag without even asking if i want anything else or if its for here to to go.And I after I told the sales person that I would like it for here and small drink she told me RELAX !!! Are you serious after all the mistakes you have done you telling me to relax ???!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
One small dime sized piece of chicken in a serving of chicken and green beans. Should call it rice and veggies and expect to get reprimanded if you ask where the meat is. Complain and they say "its one to one servings!" Employees hide their faces and make you stand outside cause they saw a virus on tv. They are also charging more and using a deceptively smaller container than before to serve their food. Panda Express:(
Bad service did a mobile order waited 15 min then to tell me there's no fresh orange chicken. Then I said out loudi wanted a large drink. For a mango passion tea, to find it completely out. Now to eat cold food 😖
Boss, cheapskate。Two pairs of chopsticks cost a few cents,You loss cutmos.look over here. I don't know how you manage people. But you are a failed boss. I went to your store and bought two large ones. Then I want four pairs of chopsticks. Your staff said I only bought two copies for us. I spent $25. Two more chopsticks, is that what you tell the staff? It doesn't make a big deal. Cheapskate.
@ the guy giving 5 stars .. I bet your the owner or the owners friend.. sound like you are from the way you write your post. I've been here many times as well and tasted the cleaning products.... I'd recommend that you get the workers to do the proper steps panda expresss tells you how to do them or fire the workers cutting corners.
They didn’t ask me if I wanted soy sauce or teriyaki sauce and then they gave me slimy teriyaki sauce and it tasted bad and there were bones in food. Worst panda express. Please fire them
The old Asian Lady who is serving the main entrees is rude first of all, and the portion she served me of chow mein was ridiculous but served me a lot of the cheap stuff which was steamed white rice and the portion for the beef broccoli was absurd. I agree with a previous review that someone left stating after all that they got you with the egg roll for $1.50 and then if we want to donate to charity…. Noooooo
It was happened Oct. 28, 2022 , 3:40 pm a server is transferring a left over noodles to a newly cooked noodles and since the left over noodles is a little bit heavy to carry for her she put the pot on top of the newly cooked noodles without realizing the pot is dirty touching the noodles which is serve to the customer. You need to educate this employee.
I’ve had horrible experiences at this Panda location twice. First time, they were VERY stingy on portion sizes. I always order plates & have gotten double the portion compared to what this location gives. However, I wanted to give them a second chance. They managed to do even worse. For me to say I was livid is an understatement. I place an online order at approximately 9:30pm & when I walked in to pick it up at the estimated time, they said they were unable to check my order since they closed online ordering at 9:30pm. I’ve ordered around this time at multiple locations and NEVER had this issue. They refused to offer me a refund. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. If you’re craving Panda and reside in Azusa, go to either the Grand/Badillo or the Mountain/Duarte location.
Although the food was good, I didn't like how rude the manager (some Grumpy Small Asian Lady) is and how she treated the first responders and members of the California Army National Gaurds during the time of the Greater Los Angeles Fires when offering discounts. When the worker was trying to give us discounts and other things, the manager got mad and scolded at them.
This Is by far the worst Panda Express to eat at and I blame this solely on the Manager! I know we all have to social distance and wear masks and keep safe but this store is taking lockdown too far. I as a customer feel like Im being treated like a kindergartner. No window has been spared from Face mask propaganda posters and you better stand on your circle while waiting in line or the staff will scold you. Lastly at the very end of the line you are commanded which door to exit out of. This is still a free country! Today indoor dining is open in California, but no..... not this Panda express! This is an operation that only Mao Zedong and Fidel Castro could be proud of. Your customers should be respected and treated with Freedom to maintain their own safety and never commanded by overbearing corporate ideals. Part :2 To the Manager: Indoor dining has now been allowed in your area for 2 weeks. Why is your dining room still closed??? If you are too cowardly to open your dining room like all the other restaurants around you then please accept you are not fit for your position and resign to someone with the courage to open and abide by local restriction relief guidelines. There is no prize for being most locked down. Allow your customers the freedom and respect to choose for themselves if it is safe to eat indoors. The local authorities already had the courage to make this decision for the city. Why are you disrespecting this process? Your customers are not happy. This is a slap in the face to all of your customers, all of the first responders who would like an indoor place to enjoy your food and the city who allowed dining to open. Please open the dining area and stop this nonsense.
They barely big portion chow mein and rice when it comes to other sides they barely give you a teaspoon.... the food is very Bland 03-27-25 you got more Worker making plates then Cooks.. might as well donate this nasty food I didn't even get any sauce condiments. You REALLY got to tell them to do it right. LAZY WORKERS DON'T COME HERE needs a new management
Portion sizes were extremely small and mediocre. When asked if I could get more chow mein, worker said no because the box wouldn’t be able to close yet she barely put any in the box. When asked kindly again, she literally put ONE noodle. I’m paying $12 for my meal, I should get what I’m paying for. On top of that, worker was very rude. Bad customer service.
Ordered teriyaki chicken earlier today. It was undercooked and I ended up with a massive stomach ache and vomited it all out. Horrible.
My husband & I use to eat here every Sunday. 4 months ago we had a bad experience in the food. But we give it a try again and food was cold. Today we went again after a long time and, disappointment. Food was horrible not fresh at all and the teriyaki chicken was raw, the noodles tasted like burn oil. There is nothing else that will make us go back to this restaurant. We will never eat again here or other panda. Am sorry, we don't mind paying the extra they increase but if they increase the quality too. Never again my husband say.
I didn't want to believe the reviews about the portions, I Ordered online sad to say portions are disappointing My moms bowl is the one with the string beans and chicken got four little pieces of chicken yeah, will not be ordering from here ever again. Do better Panda!
I work in a different city every day and go to panda atleast 3 times a week.Usally everything is good. I was helped by a manager that took my order. I ordered 5 meals and 4 drinks. They managed to get 3 orders wrong and when I was checking out I asked for a drink carrier the manager said sorry he was he had to go because the line was too long. Will be not going back to this location.
this place use to be good but now they have lazy workers that don't take the extra steps to properly clean out the bowls and stuff they use to hold the food in it.. this is the fourth time I've been here in 8 weeks and every time I've ordered for my fiance and I, it's always tasted like pinesol the cleaning product. we always get the runs and feel like s**t the next day. i ordered the honey walnut shrimp and the Angus beef. and the other was fire cracker chicken and string bean chicken. this will be the last time me ,my family and friends will go here.
I asked for two sides of a sauce that they cook with, the clerk said yes we can do that for you, then after waiting 10 minutes for my food, the manager says we are not allowed to do it. Somebody please make up their mind. So instead I ordered two of the Teriyaki sauces, I wanted four considering I had a large order, but she insisted that two is all she can give out.
Cold food. Very greasy, noodles and rice old and dry, small portions on the entree. The new Cajun shrimp is awful, they burnt the bottom and stirred in the burnt part.
Horrible service!!! Ordered over $35 of food a la carte and asked the woman for a bowl for my little boy and she would not. She said it’s part of inventory! Ok whatever first panda ever not to give me a bowl for my little boy chow mein. Really! Also did not give me one fortune cookie not one just because I bought a bag. So rude and just not nice people there! Will not return or recommend! Go to panda on lone hill nicer way nicer people!!!!
They gave me a faint whiff of the sirloin steak. It was mostly onions and bell pepper in a flavorless sauce. The chow mein was also dry and bland. The only good thing was the orange chicken. This is definitely the last time I give Panda a chance. Go down the street and give Chinese Taste a try instead, it's right next to the chic fil a. They will load you up at a cheaper price, and the selection actually has flavor. I recommend the fish.
After working through lunch and running around all day, I headed to Panda Express, hoping to get a quick and satisfying family meal for dinner. When I got home it was late and everyone was super hungry especially me. I was really upset when I tasted the food and found the orange chicken and white rice had hard pieces, the squash in the mushroom chicken was hard, and the teriyaki chicken had to much fat. My husband and kids complained about the same thing. I had to find something else for us to eat. This was not my idea of a relaxing Friday evening when you order takeout, so you don’t have to cook. :( This is the second time I get a bad batch of food at Panda Express. I called this time to complain and the manager offered to replace 2 items on the family meal. He should have offered to credit back my card for the entire amount of $38.59. It was 6:45 pm when I got home with the Panda, and I wasn't gonna go back out to get the food replaced. No more Panda Express for us. I don’t like giving a 1 star reviews and I don’t like paying for food that’s bad.
