The employees at this location were very nice when I went. I have nothing but good things to say. Food was just right. I had their spicy chicken sandwich and it was very, VERY tasty. The chicken breast was so tender and the sauce is was took me to heaven. Nice large bun for a nice large breast and the perfect amount of sauce. I am very pleased. I would like to thank the employees for doing such an amazing job.

I came in on Thanksgiving with a very large order and the team here was welcoming and had great attitudes! They had super quick service considering the size of the order and everything was just right! Thank you all for your service! My staff were grateful to enjoy a tasty meal!

Well, it had been awhile since I went to buy some chicken here. Food was good as last time. My daughter loves the chicken and my son loves the mash potatoes 😋 I do too! Very friendly staff.

I recently went to popeyes to get the blackened chicken and let me just say..it tasted so good and the service was immaculate the person who took my order I believe her name is Gabriela made sure everything was correct and satisfied.Then the person who gave me my order Kelsey (I made sure to get her name) made sure I had everything I needed and made sure it was good for me then let me go.I was surprised their was so much dedication and hard work.

I came in one night because me and my lady h hadn’t ate all that day.. my head even started hurting… but anyway she love it when food places have the order fresh hot and for chicken crispy…. So it was these two guys I’ll never forget Miguel & Jr they made sure it was exactly the way we wanted it… it was a batch of chicken about to come up and I ask them can they let the chicken I ordered stay in 2 mins longer…. To make a long story short, that was the best chicken I EVER had… you know why?? Because of the excellent service those two young men have… ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER

By far this restaurant has improved, I can tell better management has came in and took over. The experience it’s exceptional by the moment we walked in, chicken was great and fresh. Staff was amazing I definitely recommend you to come visit this location!

Customer Service is on point. The employee who took my order in the drive thru was nice and patient. Food came out quick and everything was hot and fresh. Also if you haven't tried the strawberry biscuits I definitely recommend you do!! Delicious!

The staff this afternoon 09/28/2025. Were wonderful. I have to give these young'ns credit. Most kids these days refuse to work for jobs like fast food or customer service. But this staff, not only friendly, polite, and took pride in their work. You dont find that often. The popeyes near my house in Rowlett so no where near the customer care we receieved here. I went through the drive-thru. Speed and accuracy was what was expected. I love their food but went to try the wings which I hadn't had from Popeyes and I absolutely love them! I caught The special where you can add an additional five to your order for a dollar which was wonderful. The wings as one of our New Year's Day hors d'oeuvres were from here and everyone loved them! Now I might add that because the garlic parmesan was so good I went two more times afterwards to get them - The first time afterwards they were just as good as the first time but the second time for some reason the garlic parmesan tasted slightly salty to me but perhaps I'm getting burnt out from eating them so much. I'm going again and I'll see if I get the same result hopefully it will be like the first two times. There was a little bit of a wait The person on the window wasn't overly friendly but they were professional enough and each time that I've gone (lately) I've pre-ordered by phone and each time my order was correct, the food was hot and the wings were good.

I placed my order, and others came in and placed their orders as well. They received their orders and left while I am still waiting. I went back to the counter, and the cashier then remembered my order. They prepared my order quickly. I may go back to patronize them again, but the food was delicious.

Took over 20 minutes to pick up food ordered at 7pm, didnt get my food at the window until 7:32 and didnt get any sauces i paid for. Food was slightly warm, not hot like was just made and the tenders were room temp when handed to me. Disappointed since is expensive for little amount of food that was not well served at the drive thru window with me placing an order on the app for two meals and two additional sides.

They're under construction right now so there's no inside service only drive thru but they still got us out in a timely fashion

I was taking bites before I could even get the picture. Chicken sandwich was very fresh and a lot better than what I expected. The outer crust was crisp yet light and the chicken was juicy. The service however, is below average. They hand you your food and just walk off. No thank you. No "my pleasure", nothing.

i came for one reason and one reason only, the hottie sauce. the line in the drive thru was hella long and my fries were spilled over in the bottom of my bag. but other than that i have no complaints.

stood in line waiting to get our order taken for almost 10 mins. wanted 3 pieces of breast and was told i couldn't get that...i would have paid extra if necessary. There were 2 kids in the lobby running around while thier mother was behind the counter working

The food was good, the service was ok, the atmosphere was dirty in the dinning room and the prices were high for what you actually get.

I'm big on customer service because you can spend your money anywhere but when an establishment that has appreciation for your business makes you want to keep coming. This Popeye's fails on customer service the front counter person always has her back to the customers never says I'll be right with you, and is not in a hurry to help . The food is generally hot but the staff will ignore a line full of people.

Pulled up parked to ho inside the doors are locked so I go to the drive thru abd waited no one ever came on to the speaker so I pulled up to the drive thru window and I can see everyone standing around in the kitchen area talking, then I'm asked to pull up and wait.... the store hours are 10am to 10pm yet no one wants to work apparently and no one seems to care about the customers, this Popeyes needs to do better and have better management

The food was very good. The staff was very slow. They did not start the order for a long time. So I had to wait for about half an hour, but it was worth it because the food was so good. Actually it was finger looking good.

I'm waiting on a manager to contact me back. I went there and ordered the family box of chicken. The total came out to $28.13. I gave my card and noticed after several minutes I hadn't gotten my receipt nor my card. Once I got the cashier's attention. I was told the machine was having issues. Then I was asked did I have another card because the chip wasn't working in the one provided. I handed another card over and was told the system was down. So, I paid in cash with a $100 bill because it was all I had on me. Well to my surprise they took and provided me with the change and my order. Once I got home I noticed one of the two cards was charged. Well a couple of hours later my other card has been charged. So, a grand total of three times. I called the store and was told by the assistant manager the manger won't be back in until tomorrow and she would be the one to handle refunds. I am highly disappointed and feel this should have been handled today being my money was taken today. I also do not appreciate it was paid for but was told it wasn't and I paid in cash in the end not knowing two times I had already been charged. Update: It's the next day and the manager is at the bank and so I'm waiting for her to call me.

This store on ELAM Rd ALWAYS has issues that impact customers negatively. 1) the Lobby is closed for absolutely No Reason during Prime Day time Lunch and even early evening Dinner hours. They are too Lazy to clean dining room. They also say not enough workers? Next, the chicken is Not cooked long enough. Lastly, there is Always some issue with the credit card machine. They must Not be paying credit card machine bill. Corporate office please monitor this store closely. Please also call to report continued issues over many many months!

Extremely slow- I waited for my food for nearly 40 minutes. I placed a pick up order and people who ordered in the store got their food before I did. They barely started putting my order when I was asked what my name was for the second time so thank you to the guy with the black curly hair for being the only helpful worker there. I ordered spicy chicken sandwiches and I got regular instead. Very disappointed since I love Popeyes :(

They completely jacked up our order that I payed $60+ for and when I tried to call to inform them of the mistake and they refused to answer their phones. This is completely unprofessional and no way to run a business. Go to a real chicken place like Chicken Express, at least they aren't a bunch of amateurs.

Man I been in this line for 20 minutes waiting on a door dash but I just saw them hanging a bag of food to there friend in drive thru from the back door the person was in a gray Mercedes Benz E class from the car he was driving. I would think that he would’ve been able to pay for his food and not receive a free through the back door of the establishment while others are waiting in line for 20 to 30 minutes. The main managers name is Kevin and the boys name on drive-through is Daniel. They had a nasty attitude as well. And this is very unacceptable and very unprofessional.

Got there at 10:20am restaurant is supposed to open at 10am! The worker was very rude and said “not yet” as I walked in she didn’t give a good explanation why, all she kept repeating was not yet. Worst service I’ve experienced from a fast food restaurant. Drive-thru takes forever to just take your order and their card payment is always down. If you come 20mins to closing time they not only come up with excuses to not serve you, either they lie about running out of chicken, the typical not expecting cards or their system is completely down. They really do take away the pleasure of a passionate customer enjoying their classic spicy chicken sandwich and world famous season fries.

Me and my wife went tonight got the worst customer service service, spent over thirty+ dollars on our meal. Our meal was wrong.. fries were burnt and disgusting. We went back to the cashier and told them they didn’t give us our chicken sandwich with the meal that it came with. Told them what kind and they still gave me another type of chicken sandwich that we did not order.. they even tried to give us some more free fries because of the mistake they made. Even those fries were burnt and nasty as well.. This location is THE WORST POPEYES CHICKEN WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO. You want to throw your money away this is definitely the place to do it and get bad customer service on top of that. I WILL BE NOTIFYING THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE ABOUT THIS AS WELL. They over charged me on my card for a number 3. I was charged 17.08 given no reciept until I asked at the end. The reciept didn’t show the last for digits on my card, she just rang in number 3 when I asked. Total showed 12.76. When I told her it was off, she already had the cash in her hand as if she knew I feel like she was scamming. Heavier set hispanic woman in the window. There was no one behind me so I don’t see how she could’ve gotten confused with another order. Either way it goes. She gave me five dollars in cash which was $.68 cents the amount owed, which was 4.32 Her drawer is short, but probably not. I feel like she was scamming so she might’ve gotten away with it with someone else before check your receipts….. she wasn’t the only one who looked suspicious. It seemed as if the other cahiers she knew what she was doing. They started laughing whenever I confronted her as if they already knew.

This location is needs some help. The chicken is burnt and taste like smoke. It took 45 min to get our food. The manager had her kids in the dinning room climbing all over tables. The temperature inside was insane, you could see your breath because it was so cold. Overall it was very disappointing and will not be returning.

This location use to be my favorite. I went there today when they opened, and you would think everything would be fine. Not the case at all. The food was cold, a few of the chicken pieces weren't cooked all the way through. Not totally raw, but not totally fried thoroughly. I had to pop them in the microwave to be sure it was cooked properly. Needless to say, I won't be back.

This location has been neglected for months now and is not ready for business. The corporate office is sleeping on the job.

Ordered 12 honey bbq wings bone in they give me 6 bone in and 6 boneless i didn’t notice until I got home and they charged me for bone in. They but the boneless at the bottom because I ordered 6 hot as well. This is not acceptable if you didn’t have it or didn’t want to cook them I could have paid for 6 wings! 10:30 pm just getting off work you know I wasn’t coming back but I will be there tomorrow trust me! If you don’t like your job find one that you like.

Store is completely run down the lights don’t work in the restroom and it’s completely flooded. They are only serving chicken that’s old. The freeze looks like it’s not running so none of the poultry should be edible. You have all these works on the clock but only the manager can serve people. I understand the storm did some damage but don’t open back up till you have everything working. That’s unsanitary and a health code violation and I will be contacting corporate cause this store is taking advantage of funds and running an inoperable store

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a two piece combo (breast & thigh). I received a cold over cooked chicken sandwich that was half the size of the original chicken sandwich and to top that off my combo was a thigh and a leg! You guys did it with this one, I will try any other Popeyes going forward! Took a picture after I took it out of the oven to warm it, this is the grease that was in the chicken! So I went to this location because it's the nearest restaurant to my house. On the ubereats app has a family meal on chicken tenders for 30 pieces chicken tenders 6 large sides 15 biscuits and 10 sauce for $55 plus tax. But I was close to the store that I didn't order it through the app and just went to the drive through and I asked them if that family meal was on the app only to order it through the app or I was able to get the same thing through the drive through and they told me that they don't do Uber eats. So I ended up ordering two 16 pieces family meals. When I pulled up to the drive through to pay I showed the casher and then went to go get the manager and the manger saw my phone as I was showing him and explaining it and in a rude manner he's answer was they don't do Uber eats. So then why is Popeyes on Ubereats if there not going to respect what they have. And on top of that they gave me drumsticks and leg thighs when I ordered tenders and they gave my mashed potatoes with gravy covered in a soda lid like really. I don't recommend this store.

Very poor service, the establishment is consistently unclean. even during times when there are no customers present. The quality of the food is inconsisten ocassionally good. but often disappointing. In addition, mistakes with orders are frequent, as they are either delivered incorrectly or incomplete.

Okay so I don’t live out here , I live all the way in Plano , and I order Popeyes for my brother all the time so I know how it’s supposed to look & taste, so I ordered the 12 mix and match wings combo 6pc boneless sweet and spicy , with ranch, and a 6 pc bone in plain, with bbq sauce ,Cajun fries, and a sprite , so when the food came the ranch and the bbq sauce wasn’t in the bag …. And I was missing 1 wing out of each box smh, and the sweet and spicy wings looked plain , it didn’t have any sauce on them at all and everything was cold and I tried to call them but the number don’t work😐, like what’s the point of having a number , but we will never order from here again , we had a bad experience.. NEVER AGAIN 👎👎👎(I’m going to insert a picture of how the wings are supposed to look vs how they looked when I got them )

This is the WORST Popeyes we’ve ever been to! The employees simply do not care about taking your order or cleaning the store- it was filthy, & they do not make eye contact or greet you. They act as if they don’t want anyone there & it’s a bother to take your order. Once we get the food, there’s no condiments or utensils given. Had to go back to the counter (plus wait for them to even acknowledge us) & ask for ketchup, honey, etc. Nothing was labeled either. I had the regular chicken and my husband got spicy. They told us the darker chicken was spicy. They BOTH looked the same & the cashier couldn’t even tell us which was which! This is a poor excuse for a fast food chain. I do not see how this place is still in business! Everything in that place was run down, falling apart, or broken- ex: the entrance door had a broken hinge at the top, the women’s bathroom had water pooled in the floor, the dining area floor was outdated, messy, & faded & worn- I could go on but this in itself is enough to make you nvr come back. Had we not been in a rush to get home, we would’ve gone somewhere else!

Worst Popeyes ever. The young guy taking orders today seen to be upset because he has to work. What pissed me off is when the girl making the orders always seem to have an attitude and a I don’t care look. I asked if they could put sweet tea in my cup and she goes to do it and comes back with a little trickle and says we don’t have any before I could say if she can put unsweet tea she walks off so I wait for a few seconds and then told her to put unsweet tea and like always she has an attitude face. After getting my tea I told her that she did not put the gravy I asked for on the side and again that damn look comes out again. I had to repeat my self several times and the the young guy got the gravy. This will be the last time I go there and the owner doesn’t do anything about this crap. Well hopefully they lose all the customers and shut this place down.

Omg where do I start. Ok first the Spanish girl taking my order spoke very very low on the intercom and when I could hear her she was very cold and non caring then when I go to window to pay, she turned her back and then closed the window and never addressed me then some small Spanish guy came to the window and told me that they have the right to refuse my service and that I needed to drive off or get the cops called and I asked why was that and he said that he did not know but the lady that took my order told him I took her picture I said sir. I don't know her or why she would say I took her picture he stated that he didn't know what was going on but that's what she said I said can we get a manager and was he one he said no he wasn't the manager but did not try to get one as the girl stood hiding from view and he kept saying he doesn't know what was going on while I was talking to him asking why the hostility my mother that was with me said she did not have anything on her hair like a hairnet and that it was very unsanitary and mom took her picture and they never came back to window this store need to be closed and fire all of the people there. They don't have a clue about customer service and how to treat people nor the owners company. I will be taking this further not professional and unsanitary. They gave away my order and then blamed me that someone else got it and refused to fill my order or give me a refund. Guy was rude and didn't care. I had to refuse to leave the line until the manager came and offered a compromise which wasn't what I wanted or ordered, nor would she give a refund. Now I gotta dispute transaction. Definitely DO NOT recommend this place and I won't be coming back.

Drive here because it’s the closest location but they are constantly out of menu items and sauces. If they do have it they take 39 minutes to get you through drive through. The owner needs to sell to someone competent or just close down.

This location has the worst customer service. The girl at the window was the same one that took my order in the speaker and she was very rude from the start. I am very upset with this location and that attitude is very disrespectful. I placed an order online and came to pick it up we went to the speaker and she had a very nasty, harsh, unwelcoming tone and attitude. When we pulled up to the window not even one word, no eye contact, and she had her back turned away the whole time. We also decided we wanted some fries and some sauce so we left and ordered again through the drive through and the attitude and tone just got worse I even told my sister we should have just driven off because of how rude the experience was. I already knew what to expect when we reached the window again, and I was right. When we got to the window she didn't even remember the order so she wasn't even paying attention. Rushing our order for nothing. I get that It is late and she probably wants to go home but the is just very unpleasant. It is unfortunate the service was poor this experience was extremely disappointing and has strongly discouraged me from ever returning to this location.

Her coworker even asked her why she so grumpy. She almost forgot some of my order. I had to remind her she was missing something listen. ⭐ 1 Star – Very Disappointed with My Visit (Order #9784) I stopped by the Popeyes in Balch Springs today, and the experience was honestly terrible from start to finish. I ordered regular chicken strips for my kids, but most of them were spicy — and my kids don’t eat spicy food. It felt like they just threw together whatever was left over. When I got home, the food was cold, and it didn’t even seem fresh. To make matters worse, I was missing 12 wings from my order. When I tried to call the store to speak with a manager, the line stayed busy every time I called. The person working the drive-thru window didn’t greet me, look at me, or even ask if I was okay — just turned around the whole time like I wasn’t there. This was a really disappointing experience overall. I expect better quality and customer service from Popeyes, especially when I’m paying for a full order that I don’t even receive. — Order #9784, Balch Springs location --- Would you like me to make a shorter, more emotional version too (for when you copy it to Google or social media)?

This food location does not require employees to wear gloves while preparing food, which is unacceptable for a food chain. Staff are touching their phones and then handling food without washing their hands or using gloves. That’s a serious hygiene issue, and it makes me question the cleanliness and safety standards of this place. I do not recommend eating here.

If I could give them a half a star I would. This is by one of the worst Popeyes in the state of Texas. The 5 star reviews are nothing but lies. I ordered 6 wings only and when I got them 1 they were not hot and 2 they looked like yesterday chicken reheated. So I walked them wings right back in there and they all were standing around as if they knew they gave me bad chicken. People you’re better off learning how to cook chicken on your own and get your money worth at home.

It feels like a robbery. I ordered 24 boneless chicken wings, but they gave me pieces so small they resembled crumbs. That's $25 taken from me, and I can only call it a robbery.

Order was completely wrong. Ordered three different orders for my kids and I and they all put a chicken breast with a biscuit in our boxes. When we originally ordered only legs And thighs. But neither one of those were in here. I also have the receipt didn’t check the order yeah yeah that’s my bad. Usually, I do. When you try to call them, their phone line is down. Really need to do better at listening to customers orders because is the receipt right but the boxes have the wrong chicken I don’t eat breasts neither do my kids

It's 9 pm on a Saturday night and your burners are down???? Does Popeyes actually sit around a table and think of creative excuses of not giving just good service to its patrons??! I couldn't believe what they told me in drive thru so I had to ask again why I could not place my combo chicken order. Sure enough that was the explanation..."only sandwiches...because the burners were out so chicken was unavailable!" The lobby is closed with the lights all turned off.
