Superb Experience! Came with low expectations because it is simply a sandwich spot, left happy and satisfied. I ordered their Classic Pickle Sandwich with a cheese cake and water for about $24. Worth it! The location was clean and spacious. The parking lot is also spacious. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. The portions are generous, I ordered a whole sandwich and was only able to eat half with the cheesecake. There's also outdoor seating. Recommend arriving before noon as it gets packed. Be prepared to spend a minimum of $15.

I finally got to visit the Brooklyn Pickle. The place definitely stood up to the reputation. Somebody told me they had a good Reuben sandwich. It wasn’t on the menu but it was available. It was big and it was really good. The place can get packed during lunch but that’s a good thing, right? I will definitely come back to try more things from this menu.

Newer location, and the food is always good. If you want a meat mountain in a sandwich, go for the Brooklyn Pickle Special. It's just a pile of pastrami. Get it. It's good!

Are you kidding me?! This place is incredible! The meat is shaved so fine it’s like butter. It doesn’t matter what kind of sandwich you get, it’ll be good. Just buy one!

First time at this location. Staff was great. Fresh ingredients. My only complaint is that I got onions on my sub. I didn't order onions. But we were chatting with the girl who was making our subs and we probably all got distracted. It's ok, the onions were delicious, but I could smell them for the rest of the day.

We arrived about half an hour before closing time and we didn't want to be a bother so we ordered and then took it to go. If it had been slightly warmer, we would have sat outside to enjoy our sandwiches where there are plenty of tables available. The employees were friendly and helpful. Since it was our first visit, we asked for recommendations which were cheerfully given. I think that for the money, you get a generous sandwich. We thought our sandwiches were good. One ordered pastrami and one the Brooklyn Pickle special.

The sandwiches at this new location in the Syracuse area are very good with a wide variety of choices. A nice outdoor patio also makes this a great place for lunch under the sun. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was mixed with grapes and walnuts and was both large in size and great in taste. No complaints here. As this new location moves forward, I do have a few opinions on how to improve. First, with the name “Brooklyn Pickle” you would expect that when ordering an individual pickle for $1.35 that you would get a pickle like those barrel choices in NYC, with a delicious infused brine that breaks open when biting through the crisp skin. Nope, this “Brooklyn Pickle” was instead quite unremarkable in every way. It was soft and spongy and a bit sour. It was no wider than 7/8 of an inch and no longer than 2 1/2 inches. Upon requesting it was picked out of a drawer and tossed on the counter in a plastic baggie. That’s not your Daddy’s Brooklyn Pickle. I repeat, the sandwiches are excellent, but don’t buy a pickle, buy a jar at the local store and bring one pickle in your own plastic baggie. And, when ordering, you don’t pay the girl or guy you order from... instead they yell out your entire order to another girl and she takes your credit card. Actually, I had my phone ready for ApplePay, like everyone does in Brooklyn, but for some operational design reason, they utilize another person to take away your credit card. So enjoy the sandwich. The mushroom soup was bland but my wife liked the beans and greens soup. Overall they deserve the four stars for an excellent sandwich but I hope they work on living up to the name, “Brooklyn” pickle.

Bland. Bread and baked goods were pretty stale. Homemade pasta salad is macaroni and mayo and half inch huge chunks of onion. The end. Generous portions just not very good. Hard to find the tomato in the sandwich. Wouldn’t eat here again.

This was on the $5.00 day. I waited 1 1/2 hours to get to the counter. ( expected that). I had the girl at the far end by the take out. She was very rude, I asked if I could substitute pudding as you ran out of rice pudding. Nope, before I even finished my order she was yelling it to the cashier. I was going to order more sandwiches. Went in for a sandwich, chips, drink 2 rice puddings for 7.00 ended up spending 21.00. I know it was very busy but no reason to be rude. I know I won’t hear anything but at least you know this.

Disappointed with this Brooklyn pickle as compared to others. The girl waiting on us was very rude and short with my family and I which did not make us feel welcome. Service was slow and the workers did not seem to be focused on the customers and more about having personal conversations while people waited in line for someone to call them forward even though there were cashiers free. It just seems like there is a lack of leadership at this store compared to the other Syracuse shops. The restaurant did not have pepper relish and I did not get pickles with my sandwich as promised….at Brooklyn PICKLE. I will go to the other Brooklyn pickles before I return to this one. Not impressed and wasn’t a good impression for my family who travelled from out of town.

Good lunch spot with quick service that I've been to many times. I was passive aggressively asked to tip when paying by the staff today. They started talking about tipping and looked at me and said "hint hint". I only pay with a card and they don't give you an option to tip on the receipt. This made me very uncomfortable and I will not be returning due to this which is unfortunate. I've even brought up the card tipping situation before to another staff member and they said don't worry about it. Get with the times of digital tipping or pay your staff more so they don't have to beg for tips and make people uncomfortable.

I’ve ordered here three times and have requested hot Italian peppers each time and either get tomatoes or don’t get the peppers at all. The food is great, but it's very aggravating that the employees aren’t able to add a topping.

The girl making our sandwiches (Sophie) was so rude! It was our first time here and she was giving us MAJOR attitude and was acting very annoyed by us deciding what we wanted. Food was great but maybe check your employees and who you hire! No one should feel like an inconvenience when they come in to your business especially for their first time. Definitely will NOT be returning.
