Vinimos a un evento de vinos a Barcelona desde Madrid, y puesto que ya conocía el de Madrid, nada que envidiar. Los platos que pedimos ,ummm ,y arroz con Magret Pato y romero, hecho a la leña de naranjo, para terminar.( Espectacular). Todo esto sentados en una terraza tranquila y lo que marco el 11 de 10... Fue DANIEL !! Nuestro camarero. Repetiré si vuelvo por Barcelona.

Sitio espectacular repetimos siempre que se puede. La paella siempre en su punto y la atención espectacular.

Hemos estado muy a gusto, la calidad del producto y los platos es excelente. El allioli de membrillo, delicioso. El pan con tomate, exquisito. El arroz estaba en su punto de todo. El Tap de postre, genial (aunque me hubiera gustado un poco más borracho 🙏😉) El servicio muy atento y profesional. Ambiente, decoración, música de fondo, todo perfecto. Enhorabuena a todo el equipo, volveremos! Saludos!

Comida espectacular. El precio está totalmente equiparado a la calidad. Las albóndigas con un sabor que hacía tiempo no sentía, la paella increíble y buena ración para dos personas. Si algo se tiene que decir en contra es que tal vez en los entrantes tendría que poner un poco más de cantidad, pero igualmente merece la pena.

Una experiencia fantástica en el restaurante Cadaqués de Barcelona! Éramos dos personas y pedimos la paella Cadaqués, los puerritos a la brasa y la tortilla romescada con gambas… todo absolutamente espectacular. La paella, de las mejores que he probado en la ciudad, sabrosa, con el punto justo de arroz, un sabor a mar delicioso y ese puntito a leña que la hace tan especial. Los entrantes, irresistibles. Además, el servicio fue impecable: amables, atentos y muy profesionales, siempre con una sonrisa. Un lugar donde se come, se está de maravilla y donde te hacen sentir como en casa. ¡Volveremos sin duda!

Had a wonderful Catalan dinner at Restaurant Cadaqués in Barcelona. The service was warm, attentive, and very professional, and the food was truly top quality. Every dish was full of flavour and clearly made with great ingredients and care. A fantastic place for authentic Catalan cuisine. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, with lots of imaginative variations on classic Catalan dishes. Very friendly, helpful service. Interestingly, when I called to book a table the person who answered the phone spoke neither of my languages (English and French) but we managed to communicate enough to make a reservation. This made me like the place more - there's no reason to expect everyone everywhere to speak English. But then when we arrived all of the staff spoke very good English.

My wife wanted seafood paella's so Cadaqués was recommended. Unfortunately my seafood pallet is not as vast as hers and is mostly restricted to shrimp and white fish like cod or haddock. So it was quite a surprise to get to Cadaques and for me to go out on a limb and decide to expand my horizons a bit and try their Coca de Recapte as an appetizer. This is basically anchovied sardines on a flatbread with a vegetable based compote paste. It was excellent. For my main course I had the chicken which was also excellent. My wife had the house made bread with tomato and olive oil for a starter mainly because she was as expecting the seafood paella with black rice she ordered to be more than enough for one person. She was very happy with it and enjoyed it thoroughly. I paired it with a nice Chardonnay which she said was perfect. For myself I chose a local Spanish red which was excellent. For dessert, she had the cream xuixo with warm chocolate sauce and I had the Swiss roll. She thought the xuixo was okay, not knock your socks off and while the Swiss role was not the Swiss role I thought it would be, we both thought it was unique and very tasty. The service and atmosphere were outstanding and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona especially those of you who are seafood lovers.

The duck with plum and ginger was sublime, the best fine dining meal I had in my 2 weeks in Spain. Tasted the rabbit risotto which was also delicious. A nice selection of wines by the glass. The staff were most attentive and courteous. We had a private room for our party of 7 in spite of booking online only about 45 min before we arrived. Highly recommended.

Stopped there for dinner on our last night in Barcelona and oh boy did it not disappoint! Following our waiter Marc’s recommendations, we took the tartare on pork belly as an appetizer and the BRUT paella which turned out to be one of the best meals I have had in my life. We had dinner at Cadaqués on our last night in Barcelona. The food, wine, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations! Our group of 6 was able to sit in a private room which elevated our experience even more. We shared a vegetable paella (which was cooked perfectly), bread, asparagus, and salad. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We left feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious paella in the Barcelona area!

Was recommended by our hotel concierge.... We had a very late lunch after a touristy afternoon. We were greeted warmly, were shown to a wonderful table in a quiet corner (6 of us). The food was excellent and we were well taken care of by wait staff. Had local white wine-also excellent-crisp, refreshing... with mussels, sole, paiia and langoustinos. All delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best Paella’s I have ever had. Antonio gave incredible service, switching between English and Spanish to accommodate different members of my party. Many of their dishes are prepared over wildfire stove, and the open kitchen allowed us to see our Paella and fish being prepared. They even let us go outside the kitchen to see an order of fish we had getting prepared, and they finished deboning our fish at our table. Would highly recommend!

This is a beautifully themed restaurant. We ordered a variety of plates and shared and had a great experience. Delicious local sausage appetizer, as were the cooked asparagus and roasted potatoes with spices. The trio of vegetables, onion, red pepper, and eggplant, are roasted and then chilled. The green salad was delicious and refreshing. The razor clams are tasty and strong, though an acquired taste and only recommended if you are familiar with them. The joint washroom is neat, with a sliding wooden barn door and a large double, marble sink.

From the moment we walked into Cadaqués, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service throughout the evening was simply superb. Everyone made us feel welcome and cared for—from the first hello to the last goodbye. Now let’s talk about the food: everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the flower artichokes and Porrets a la graella—both beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For our main course, we had the Pato y Salsifíes paella (duck and root vegetable), and let me just say—it was out of this world. A perfect balance of richness and comfort in every bite. Our server, Ignaçi, was a delight! So animated, sweet, and attentive—he truly added to the magic of the night. To end this incredible meal, we indulged in the Xuxo de crema with warm chocolate sauce. Heavenly. We left super stuffed and super happy. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Cadaqués, this is the spot.

We had lunch here on a Tuesday, a bank holiday, without reservation, but the waiters were able to find a table for us after half an hour. Very grateful but we would have appreciated a drink or an appetizer during the waiting. The place is very nice and welcoming, very enjoyable atmosphere. Most of the fresh fish was no more available (good sign: we were late and they use fresh material only), but the waiter was very kind to recommend us the best they had and to accomodation our requests. While deciding on what to order, we were welcomed with olives and a signature-dish beautiful appetizer. We had the esqueixada and the tartare of beef with heart of tuna. The esqueixada was beautifully presented, and very tasty. Very fresh cod, nicely persisting taste of the vegetables. The tartare was amazing. It comes like a beautiful ingot of meat, and the waiter would then grate on it smoked tuna belly; the combination was unexpected and just perfect, with the tuna adding that umami flavour to an already rich meat. We then had redfish cooked on wood embers, with a garlic sauce. The fish is portioned at the table, and the head and backbone are left in another plate for those willing to try them, and I would strongly recommend to do so as they are very rich in flavours. The fish was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I specifically asked to have only a vinaigrette on the side, to enjoy the pure flavour of the fish, and I enjoyed its texture and taste. We also had a green salad with onions and an escalivada, both very nicely presented and well prepared. We closed this nice journey with a crema catalana, cooked to perfection. The price is right for the quality of the food, the very enjoyable and welcoming service, and the place. We did not have any of the rice dishes, but I would recommend try an arroz on the wood. I would strongly recommend to make a reservation and to ask for specific food to be reserved for you if you have something specific in mind.

Es típico tomar la paella de este restaurante, pero en esta ocasión preferimos picar más de sus otros platos. El local es acogedor y el servicio bueno. La comida estando muy buena sí que encontré algún plato que no estaba a mi gusto, en concreto las coquinas. Bajo mi punto de vista, eso si, muy subido de precio. Por cierto, la tarta de queso espectacular

Restaurante ubicado entre la Barceloneta y el Born. Tomamos unas ensaladilla rusa elaborada con mayonesa Hellmann s (dicho por uno de los camareros tras preguntar en cocina), esto nos bajó las expectativas fulminantemente, obviamente un plato totalmente prescindible. Además como entrantes pedimos la tortilla romescada sosa y sin nada que destacar, y un carpaccio de gamba que estaba bueno. Como platos principales escogimos escorpora (cap roig) y un arroz de Cadaqués, ambos muy buenos. Sin duda un lugar para tomar un buen arroz o un pescado. El precio me parece alto no tanto por los platos principales como por los entrantes que no justificaban ese precio. El servicio fue correcto.

Las croquetas y el surtido de allioli muy recomendable. La tortilla de patata y el tartar nos decepcionó un poco, a nuestro gusto no está al nivel del resto de platos que pedimos. 💸 48€ pp

Fuimos a disfrutar de la brasa y fue así. Hemos escogido para empezar un trinxat que hemos pedido con la panceta a un lado pero viene junto. Rape con varias guarniciones, todo correcto. Servicio atento.

The place was okay, but the dish was described as meat with vegetables, and in reality there were no vegetables — just a single pepper.The paella was delicious. Overall it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t really recommend it, especially since there are many better options nearb .

This place was a little hard to find but that was because of my stupidity. The atmosphere is fantastic. The blue fish in the wall was so cool. The food was outstanding. The pork dish was so tasty. The chicken was also wonderful. As far as the service is concerned it was amazing. So stop by and eat wonderful food.

A creatively inspired space and menu. Service was lacking the most and quality while mostly great was shadowed by meager portions with the cod paella -12 small pieces in a dish recommended for two people. One in our party never received her beverage and we were the first table in at the start of dinner service, waiting for the experience to shift across nearly two hours. The artichokes were amazing as was the bread.

Despite the positive reviews, this place is overrated and makes it very clear they do not like tourists. We waited at the door for 10 minutes for anyone to greet us. Both us and the group (of western tourists) behind us had reservations, but they made us wait another 10 minutes while they fiddled around doing nothing even though the restaurant was almost empty. They finally sat us and again made us wait quite a while before acknowledging us. The server finally showed up and was friendly at first. We ordered appetizers and drinks, the food was very mediocre at best. There was a hard piece of cartilage in the meat served, the oyster had shell in it, and the croquettes were cold in the middle. We were disappointed and decided just to finish up and call it a night. When the server finally came back and asked if we wanted to order more, we barely finished the sentence saying “no thank you” but he snapped “thank you” and stormed away from the table faster than I have ever seen before. I was shocked, our heads were spinning as everyone else in Barcelona had been so friendly. This restaurant was in a more local neighborhood, so maybe they resent tourists more and definitely don’t welcome them. If the food was good it could be overlooked but it was embarrassing.

I've just had a seafood paella that looked nothing like those photographed here. I wish I'd photographed mine, but in fact there was almost nothing to photograph. Are these photographs in fact fakes? Or from a different restaurant? When I had finished both portions (single portions not available - my wife doesn't eat seafood), costing more than €60, I had 4 clam shells left on my plate and had eaten perhaps 4 pieces of fish as well as quite a lot of rice cooked in squid ink. That was all there was! This was among the meanest paellas I've ever seen and for €64 that is CRAZY MEAN and CRAZY EXPENSIVE. My wife's duck paella was slightly more generous with 9 pieces of meat and 4 pieces of salsifi - €56 for 2 person portion. Photo shows the one person portion we took away in a box eating later. And while I'm ranting, of the many Barcelona restaurants we've eaten at this week, this was the only one that served only one sort of olive rather than a selection of different olives. Not cool.
