Siempre que vamos salgo encantada y con ganas de volver. El local es muy bonito, bien ambientado y con muy buen rollo. El servicio de los chicos es fantástico, en especial el de Inés, siempre atenta y re buena onda. Tanto si vas a comer como a tomarte unas birras y un picoteo es el lugar ideal.

Llegamos muy muy tarde, casi para cerrar, nos atendieron muy bien. Incluso un compañero que Yego t todavía más tarde, después de un pequeño tirón de orejas, le pusieron una cerveza. Gente muy amable. Lo recomiendo para ir con amigos.

Buen ambiente, bonito lugar con terraza, y buenas tapas. El servicio eficiente .recomiendo sobretodo las croquetas de gamba roja. Increíbles .

Primera vez en este restaurante el fin de semana pasado ,fuimos para una cena de empresa y todo estuvo perfecto. Probamos el menú de grupo y estaba buenísimo. Recomiendo especialmente los tacos de atún, que están increíblemente buenos. El equipo, fantástico: súper atentos en todo momento y pendientes de que la cena fuese bien. Lo recomiendo totalmente y volveré seguro.

Ayer festejé por la segunda vez mi cumpleaños aquí y me encantó todo. La comida rica, el vino que entra en el menú también. El personal muy lindo. Llevo más de nueve años viniendo aquí, desde que me mudé a Barcelona. Lo que me encanta del sitio es la alta calidad de la comida, en un ambiente bonito pero sin pretensiones, perfecto para el Raval. I went here for dinner and had the tapa of the day which was duck tacos which were absolutely delicious. Great combination of flavours. I also had the burger which was the tastiest burger I’ve had in a very long time. The beef burger was divine and had a great barbecue flavour to it. Staff were very friendly and loved the decoration. Will definitely come again to try the other dishes.

Great place! I’ve visited twice and enjoyed both times. The building is cool, prices are fair and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is friendly and very good about warning you if you are over ordering. The plates are huge, but delicious. Gotta have the nachos!

Nice vermouth and tapas place, outdoor seating and cool vibe which works as the restaurant to the film library of Catalunya. Prices are ok, service good, food great! And if you go on weekdays you can go for the daily menu option (around 10€) which has a good variety of dishes. The place is a bit more trendy than any other average tapas bar in El Raval and it is really close to Rambla del Raval, the heart of that area.

A little gem hide in the middle of the tourist Barcelona. I almost didn't wanna make this review, just to keep this place a little bit longer away from the crowd. Very friendly stuff and good food.

So good!! No os vayáis de aquí sin probar la croqueta de calabaza y gorgonzola. Es una orden!! 😜 Lis huevos revueltos con chistorra también estuvo increíble!!! Las bravas tienen un punto wasabi y estuvo fatal. Servicio exquisito.

El local es espacioso, con una buena terraza dónde se está a gusto. A la hora de la comida tiene un menú rico, a elegir entre varios primeros, segundos, postre y bebida por unos 11 €. A la hora de comer no fue necesario reservar, aunque el local estaba lleno, nos atendieron rápido y bien. un sábado intentamos ir a cenar sin reservar, y fue imposible. Por lo tanto recomiendo reservar si vais a cenar, para no quedaros sin mesa.

El lugar está correcto y nos gustó mucho su "Pollos Hermanos", pero tristemente sirven Coca Cola en botellas de 237ml, lo cual me impide poner más de 3 estrellas. Cuando sirvan al menos latas de 33cl (aunque mejor botella de 35cl) me avisan.

The environment is great , original...the place looks like it was lost in a little wild neighborhood...so ,a very interesting set up. Unfortunately the food was not that great ..way too oily and fatty. The waiters were ok ...not specifically cool unfortunately as you could expect for such a lefty-like place ( maybe they were just tired to be honest)....whatever we were quite disappointed by the interaction. Also note a +10% price if you stay in Terrasse ...don't do it. So I would suggest that you go there especially...but if you are around the corner it is worth it to go check it

La calidad de la comida no es buena. Puede que a lo mejor para unos nachos y un hummus esté bien, pero nosotros pedimos crocretas, ensalada de tomate y filete a dados y la verdad que dejaba mucho que desear. Servicio nefasto. Cuando entras no te ven, y cuando por fin te sientas en la mesa, siguen sin verte. Después de 20 minutos esperando que tomen nota para cenar y darte cuenta que debes ser invisible, pues te vas pensando que eres un súperheroe. Una pena!! Gracias por responder, pero veo que no habéis entendido. Si que nos atendieron al entrar y nos llevaron a una mesa y nos digeron enseguida tomamos nota, pero una vez sentados por más que hiciéramos gestos era como que nos nos veían, en 20 minutos no vinieron a la mesa para nada. Eso es por lo que me parece un servicio nefasto. Pero enfin no pasa nada, yo no creo que vuelva en mucho tiempo y es una pena pirque vivo muy cerca.

Half way through the meal I decided to check with her again and she says the same but then brought the allergen menu to show me (why she didn't think to look there or show me before, I don't know). She pointed at my dish on the menu and guess what? My dish contained almost every allergen on the list, including gluten. I have now had one week off work feeling completely intoxicated and as I am self employed I have also lost a significant amount of my income just before Christmas! How can a waitress be so incompetent? What's more she appeared a little drunk and kept banging into chairs and tables while serving us! I will be going back there this week to make an official complaint! My reply to the owners response below: I'm sorry but that's not what happened. When I ordered the dish I didn't know there was an allergen menu. The waitress should've pointed to this when asked about the ingredients of the dish I wanted to order. She did NOT come over to warm me of the ingredients after I had started! That's completely untrue. I ate half of the meal and just felt like something was wrong and then I saw that there was an allergen menu on the back of the menu and I called the waitress over. She then showed me that menu and repeated that the dish was gluten free despite the dish clearly containing lots of allergens including gluten. At that point in time the damage was already done. I had already eaten it and had to face the consequences and there's nothing you or the waitress could have done to fix that. I didn't make a scene or get angry in the moment but to be completely honest with you I am furious as it was 100% avoidable and I made every effort to confirm with your staff that the dish I was ordering was gluten free.

Disappointed. We went here for dinner and drinks. All we received were our drinks. We ordered patatas bravos and they never came. We ended up ordered two more food items and after waiting 2 hours those never came. The two tables next to us were seated after us and ordered food after us. Their food came to their tables with no problems. Eventually we realized we were never going to receive our food and asked for the bill. The bill included the patatas bravos that we never recieved. Thankfully they took it off after we pointed out we never received any food. The bill didn't include the other food items we had ordered, and never received, which was good. But it definitely seems like they had zero intention of ever serving us food tonight. Super disappointing because we had ordered a couple drinks and we received those with no issue. Everyone else's food in the restaurant looked great but we were never allowed to try or eat despite ordering multiple items. Crazy. They could have made so much more money off of our table but choose not too.

I went to La Monroe last night to celebrate a close friend’s birthday, hoping for a fun evening. Unfortunately, the service I received left me stunned and deeply disappointed. From the very beginning, the waiter was condescending and dismissive. When I simply asked for a mint tea and lemonade, he acted as if I hadn’t spoken clearly by handing me a menu of tea options in a way that felt patronizing rather than helpful. Over the next three hours, while friends slowly arrived, the same waiter made it a point to ignore me entirely. Every time I attempted to place an order, he would interrupt my conversation, brush me off, and then immediately turn to someone else at the table. The hostility was so blatant that I eventually had another guest place my dinner order just to avoid another uncomfortable encounter. To make matters worse, the waiter never even put my order in, despite assuring us it was “on the way.” Being excluded, disregarded, and treated as if my presence was a burden completely ruined what should have been a joyous occasion. The patronizing attitude, poor communication, and failure to deliver even the basics made this one of the most unwelcoming dining experiences I have ever had. If you are looking for a place to celebrate with friends, consider any other pub or hole in the wall before subjecting yourself to being treated this way. La Monroe needs a serious wake-up call in how they train their staff to treat customers with respect and decency. UPDATE: The reply I received here unfortunately reflects the same dismissive attitude I experienced in person. To be clear, I was offered bites of others’ appetizers while never receiving my own entrée, all while sitting through a birthday party where a group of 15 around me was served for 3+ hours without issue. For the staff to claim there was only “one mistake with one dish” is simply not accurate. The reality was that I was repeatedly ignored, interrupted mid-conversation, and left without a meal and mocked. Instead of accountability, the response shifts blame back onto me as though I was the problem. This confirms my initial impression: La Monroe does not value every guest equally and chooses deflection over responsibility.

It’s a disaster, do not go there. First the sauces were expired ! Then one of my friends got served first and we had to wait 20 minutes together ours. It’s a shame. The service was terrible, the waiter scratched his ass and then brought our food 🤢. The hamburger was dry asf, it was a traumatizing experience
