Recomendadísimo, he repetido varias veces.
Voy a volver
I recently eat here with a Malaysian friend, end even her said it was good. I loved the food. There are some dishes from India, Malaysian and Chinese, but all of them soooooo good. Price is a bit high, but totally worthy.
Great prices and professional service (fast and very kind). Food is not 5-star, but the price/quality ratio for this location is unbeatable. I had the plate of the day, suggested by the waiter, and was very satisfied!!
A great experience of Malaysian cuisine. Flavourful dishes and amazing service. The food is delicious and it arrives quickly to the table. Kind and welcoming waiters. Been there 3 times thru my whole trip. Highly recommended especially for those who love south Asian cuisine! You will not get disappointed. Will sure come back soon.
The meals we’ve tried had a different taste than the dishes we’ve tried in Malaysia, however, they were still delicious and full of flavours (I would highlight the juicy chicken satay and shrimp wontons) 🤤 The service was friendly and the portions were quite big. We’ll definitely come back again to try some roti!
We eat food from here pretty regularly over the years. Always good, delivery is very fast. Service is friendly. But the past 4 times we find staples in our food (or accidentally bite it). I tried telling them maybe they shouldn't use staples in their food to go packaging, but no one has contacted back. So sad to write this, but people should be careful when ordering to go.
we were very hungry and i was tired of tapas, so as usually was looking for asian cuisine and we found Malaysian cafe. service is fast we ordered lunch menu for €11.90 each. good portions and tastes good. clean place. i also had a tofu curry and my hubby ordered egg fried rice with chicken, but we were too hungry to make photos and started straight away eating ☺️
I recently visited this place and was truly impressed by the amazing food. The staff, who appeared to be of Indian/Pakistani origin, added to the authenticity of the dining experience. While I am not entirely sure if this is how Malaysian food traditionally tastes, the dishes served were wonderful and full of incredible flavors. Food Quality and Serving Time We were pleasantly surprised by the quick serving time, as our meals arrived within 15-20 minutes. The food quality was exceptional, with every bite bursting with deliciousness. Interior The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, the walls had Malaysian art , national and cultural drawings as well. Staff The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Their ability to speak multiple languages fluently, including Spanish, English, Hindi/Urdu, made communication easy and added to the overall positive experience. What We Ordered We ordered Rangdang Dating (paratha with beef stew), noodles with chicken, noodles with meat, and chai. Each dish was prepared to perfection, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, this place offers a fantastic dining experience with authentic and flavorful food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful meal.
if you are looking for an authentic malaysian restaurant, this is the one that i highly recommend. We try some malaysian restaurant here in Barcelona but this one is Superb! We were surprised with the food that they offer. for me this is the best Rendang Daging I ever had. it blows our mind, the tenderness of the beef was incredible. the sate ayam goreng was also really good . The staff are very nice and accomodating. the portions are too generous for the price. I am looking forward to coming back here again to try their other dishes. It's really worth trying here. ☺️
This place has awesome food. My dear friend from Malaysia too is here for the first time and ever since I have been to this restaurant for more than 5 times now. Food has the right blend of spices. My favourite is beef curry with rice and Malaysian fried chicken. Lunch menu is the best so far
Highly recommend this restaurant because: 1. For the price they are offering for the lunch set it comes with appetiser and drinks it’s very worth it and can even be share for 2 small eater. 2. The taste is authentic Malaysian flavour (they can tailor the meal to your preferred level of spiciness) 3. Warm and fast service by the staff and clean place too. 4. Portion wise is quite huge and generous with sauce etc.
Rasa offers a delightful halal Malaysian dining experience. The Sate Ayam (chicken satay) was flavorful, featuring tender grilled chicken skewers complemented by a rich peanut sauce. While the dish was enjoyable, I personally felt it could benefit from a touch more tanginess, perhaps from tamarind or lime, to elevate its depth. The Rendang Daging (beef rendang), customized to an Indian spice level, was robust and hearty, though I would have appreciated a bit more heat. The dumplings were a standout—well-seasoned and satisfying. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the daily menus offered great variety at reasonable prices. A wonderful spot to savor authentic Malaysian flavors in Barcelona
I visited Rasa Malaysia on 7 May with a friend. We went without reservation, and were given a table near the entrance. The food itself was quite delicious. I cannot comment on the authenticity of it and closeness to real Malaysian food, but if you want filling, delicious food at an agreeable budget that is also Halal, I recommend Rasa Malaysia. It’s close to the Sagrada Familia, and honestly the staff are quite nice. It’s just that when we visited, the restaurant was so busy, we needed to work very hard to catch the attention of the serve staff. We ordered: Lumpia Sayur (Spring Rolls. These are quite polarising, you either like them or you don’t thanks to the introduction of cinnamon powder that’s quite noticeable. Being from the Middle East, and being Indian, I didn’t mind. I found it unique and delicious, but my friend did not like these at all). Sate Ayam Goreng (Fried chicken wings with peanut sauce. Not bad, lives up to the expectations I have of Satey Ayam. I’m not a fan of peanut sauce, but this one is quite balanced and very delicious. Bebek Koh lo Mee (Noodles with Boneless Duck. My friend ordered this and he quite enjoyed it. The duck was cooked very well, and was very flavourful. The sauce brought the noodles together with the veggies and the duck very well.) Nasi Goreng Canton (Indonesian Fried Rice with Charshiu chicken. I LOVE Nasi Goreng, so my expectations were very high before eating, and I am so glad the restaurant lived up to the expectations. I absolutely loved the addition of the Chashiu chicken. The portion was perhaps too big for 1 person, but definitely it was worth the money, and the visit). All in all, Rasa Malaysia is a good Malaysian restaurant that is Halal, in a pleasant neighbourhood and is good value for money. You won’t be disappointed after visiting, I’m sure.
We ordered rendang unfortunately it is not Malaysian rendang as stated on their menu. However it does taste more like curry. Had lumpia which in Malaysia we call it popia/spring rolls. Fried satay also Malaysia does not hv fried satay and the gravy is sweet instead of sweet & spicy. They also call duck as Bebek. In Malaysia we just call it 'itik' . These resto would probably more towards Indonesian side rather thn Malaysian. So it baffled me why they name themselves "Rasa Malaysia". However I don't denied their service are good, friendly & clean environment.
