Absolutely loved this place! The couscous was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, the tajine was rich, and the meat was tender. Highly recommend!

El mejor restaurante de toda Barcelona para ir a hacer el Iftar. Los platos estan elaborados con ingredientes de primerísima calidad, género fresco, cocinado al momento, hecho con corazón y eso se nota en cada plato. El iftar muy completo, para los 6€ que vale te incluye un vaso de leche fresca, 1 vaso de batido de fruta de temporada, 1 huevo de granja hervido, 1 shabakia, 1 dulce tradicional marroquí y un plato de Harira. Hablemos de la Harira: Un bol grande, de sopa hecha del día, abundante de carne, con buena cantidad de garbanzos y escasa de fideos (tal y como debe ser la harira), con ese toque picantito que te despierta pero no te abrasa y lo más importante: un sabor que ningún otro restaurante ha podido replicar, hecha con amor. Apunte importante: Todos los platos del restaurante son elaborados con productos 100% naturales, de altísima calidad ya que el propietario del restaurante regenta además una carnicería a escasos metros de este. Carnicería que por cierto, lleva muchos años siendo un referente en calidad.

I have ordered half roasted chicken with rice. They served it with some kind of chicken liver sauce. It was very tasty. The price is also on the lower side considering the portion size.

Muy buena atención! Preparan muy bien el pedido y además el producto es de calidad y elaborado. Me han dejado probar la salsa antes de ponerla. Lo recomiendo puesto que el trato y el producto son muy buenos.

Demasiado rica la comida. Y el servicio, fenomenal. Probé Tajin de ternera, lo acompañan con un pan recién hecho, que va muy bien con el tajin; previamente me pusieron unas aceitunas.

Das Restaurant hat definitiv ein ganz eigenes Flair, das sich schwer beschreiben lässt. Von der Atmosphäre bis hin zum Service – es bleibt irgendwie in Erinnerung, ohne dass ich genau sagen könnte, was. Die Speisekarte war umfangreich und dennoch irgendwie… anders. Die Gerichte waren da, und sie wurden serviert. Es gab eine Menge Eindrücke, und trotzdem lässt sich schwer sagen, ob das Essen eine Enttäuschung oder eine positive Überraschung war. Alles in allem war es ein Besuch, der bleibt – wenn auch auf eine Art, die schwer greifbar ist.

És un restaurant marroquí on serveixen menjar àrab tradicional. Tot és fresc i és acequible per a tothom ( un mínim de 10 euros per cap).

Hello, I would like to report an incident that happened today while delivering an order to Dar El Kaissi. When I arrived, the shop owner behaved very rudely toward me. I was finishing my coffee for just two minutes before continuing the delivery, and he spoke to me in a harsh tone, saying things like “Why are you not going?” even though I know how to manage my work and my timings. His attitude made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Please look into this issue, as such behavior affects my ability to work professionally. Thank you.🙏

—-see english version below—- Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, nach einem Bestellvorgang in einer uns zunächst fremden Sprache (weder Spanisch noch Catalan) erwarteten wir gespannt unser Essen. Zunächst hatten wir die Gelegenheit für 40 Minuten das Ambiente und das geschäftige (nicht)-treiben um uns herum zu beobachten. Zu unserer Überraschung erhielten dann einen Gruß aus der Küche, der sich jedoch auf eine Handvoll Oliven belief. Das Konzept eines Grußes aus der Küche war uns zunächst fremd, da wir unser Essen als „To-go“ bestellten. Dies sollte jedoch eine Vorwarnung für das Kommende sein. Weitere zehn Minuten später erhielten wir zwei Teller mit Gerichten, die dem was wir bestellt hatten jedoch in keinster Weise entsprachen. Nach kurzer Diskussion wurde das essen an, in dem Laden herumlungernde Jugendliche (vermutlich Familie der Betreiber) verteilt, die es wiederwillig verspeisten. Nach einer weiteren überraschend kurzen Wartezeit wurden uns zwei zum Mitnehmen verpackte Aluminiumschüsseln mit fast dem richtigen Essen überreicht. Der Bezahlvorgang war chaotisch und dank fehlendem Beleg war die Preislage nicht ersichtlich, jedoch definitiv zu teuer. Das Essen war schlussendlich dann aber doch ok. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants lässt sich nur schwer in Worte fassen – ein stetiges Kommen und Gehen der Gäste, bei dem andere deutlich schneller bedient wurden. Dieses Erlebnis deckt sich auch mit den Erfahrungen anderer Gäste (@KFCKunde2) wie wir später erfuhren. —-english version—— Food ok Wait long Price high

Very unprofessional behavior from the owner of Dar El Kaissi. A delivery driver was there for only two minutes finishing his coffee before continuing his work, and the owner spoke to him very rudely, asking “Why are you not going?” in a harsh tone.
