What a great place. Without any doubt Arjan (Joni) who works front of house was the star of the show. The food was great but he was better. Credit to Business and I hope the owner appreciates him..

We had a lunch at Judges and were delighted by the friendly and helpful staff, the comfortable restaurant and the delicious meal we had. The food was well cooked and attractively presented . We will definitely go again.

Superb dining. The atmosphere is cosy, stylish and comfortable. Lovely quiet, relaxed vibe. Service from start to finish superb and amongst the best yet! Such welcoming and super friendly, happy staff. The menu is succinct but wide in its Mediterranean choice. The food was tastefully done and presented with. very generous (big moreish), portions. Highly recommend for all round atmosphere, cleanliness comforts great food and outstanding service.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday. The food was delicious, the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was calm.

Visited there last night and I have to say all very impressive. Venue/ambience; venue looked immaculate. The attention to detail was very evident, from the lighting to ambient music, the spacing between the tables, the room temperature, menu etc all excellent. What really impressed me was the team led by the amazing Roxana whom is a great asset to any hospitality organisation. She remembered my allergy from 5 years ago which I thought was simply mind blowing. The service was seamless and the individual personalities of the staff were evident to see. Food; the Rib eye steak was excellent, perfectly cooked. One of the best steaks I have had in a long while. Overall a great experience. Will be back l!

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch with friends. Roxy, Bryon and Joni looked after us from the minute we walked through the door. We were a table of 8 and the service was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious! I had the giant prawns which were so tasty in a fresh tomato sauce, simple but perfect. Steaks were all cooked to perfection which seems like a basic requirement but isn’t always the case! Complements to the chef from us all! I was also surprised by a celebratory selection of desserts on the house as Roxy had realised it was my birthday - thank you! The end to a perfect afternoon! We will all be back!

Roxy has been amazing from planning the evening being so organised on the day & so kind. All the staff was interacting with the children and making everyone happy . We also had a magician turn up which we had no idea about a great touch whilst waiting for food. The food was amazing Overall ROXY was just perfect The whole team was so polite and accommodating nothing was too much trouble there was 26 of us 6 children and everything was perfect for my partners birthday! We visited Judge’s Barnet on Wednesday night without a reservation, yet the staff warmly welcomed us. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was exceptionally professional and friendly, thanks to Manager Roxy and Owner Carlos. The food was outstanding, making for an unforgettable dining experience. London would truly benefit from more restaurants of this caliber.

Two of us came for lunch and had the lunch menu which is 2 courses for £21.95. It is incredible value with really high quality food. I would highly recommend the chicken milanese. The service, however, is what makes the restaurant. Roxy and Joni were incredibly warm and attentive, with Roxy providing us with great and honest recommendations. We really felt cared for and looked after the whole time and are already planning our next visit!

We organised a surprise 60th birthday for my dad and Roxy was great with her communication and very helpful with everything. Roxy, Elliot and the team were fantastic and the food was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! I would definitely recommend this for a sit down meal/party or even just a Sunday roast

Was there 2 weeks ago as a wedding guest. Absolutely lovely experience. They organized so the bride and groom could decorate the table the night before. All the staff was very friendly and in full control. Absolutely loved the food. From delicious starter to the main course. It was so much food. And so tasty. We were allowed to bring our own cake for dessert. Well done you for making our day so nice

Thank you , thank you , thank you! I cannot recommend Judges highly enough. We had the most incredible celebratory lunch for 25 people on Sunday in a beautifully set up private area. The service, food and care were all amazing. Nobody wanted to leave! 4.5 hours later and we were still there and at no point did anyone try to rush us out. Special thanks to Roxy, Florentina and Laura who were all fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back!

17/12/25 My husband arranged a surprise birthday party for me with 78 guests. Leading up to the event he met with Roxy and the head chef Patrick on 3 occasions to discuss the menu choices and the type of function required. Roxy was most helpful in putting the menu together and Patrick explained how the menu choices could be prepared and served without too much difficulty. Roxy helped prepare the table lay out and place settings and from the outset of the evening which started with a champagne reception and canapes she took complete control looking after all the guests together with her well trained and pleasant staff including Bryan and Ivan. The quality and presentation of the food was superb and a number of our guests pointed out that although they had dined at Judges before , they had not enjoyed some of the items that were offered at our function. A truly magnificent evening ..thank you Roxy, Patrick and all the staff

My mum and I went here on monday evening. We were greeted by Roxy. She made us feel so welcome and was honestly such a wonderful host. She was funny, attentive and really made our dinner experience more enjoyable. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the giant king prawns and creme brulee. We will 100% be back :)

Our lunch on Christmas Day was really lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful and excelled by making our visit so enjoyable. The food was first class as was the atmosphere in the restaurant , the music and the way everything was organised. Delighted to have spent such a lovely time in Barnet .

Our first time at Judges. We had the set lunch menu , excellent value. The food was delicious, and the portions very generous. Next time I shall have 2 courses, not 3 as so filling ! The service was first class. Roxy , the manager was professional and friendly, our waiter was the same. Great staff , and excellent customer service make a great restaurant ! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic restaurant ! A vast but not overwhelming menu which includes many gluten free options. The food was top notch, fresh and hot. The staff were charming and super professional. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be returning.

I had my 70th birthday lunch in the private room. Roxy and her team went out of their way to make my party so special . The food was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend Judges Barnet to anyone looking to have a party.

Thank you to Roxy and her amazing team. A fabulous evening was had by 28 of us. It was faultless all food was excellent in quality and presentation. Restaurant is comfortable thanks to lovely furnishings and very efficient air conditioning. Beautiful linen adorned the tables which all goes to show the attention to detail. An amazing evening.

We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary at Judges in Barnet. We took over the private dining area at the back of the restaurant and had 24 guests for Sunday lunch. Roxy and her staff were fantastic and took all the stress away by carrying out exactly what was asked of them and more. The food was excellent as was the service. We highly recommend and will certainly return.

We celebrated my mum 80th birthday at judges in Barnet - would def recommend to anyone - the food was delicious , the restaurant has a fab atmosphere and decoration and most importantly the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble - special shout out to Roxy who was so helpful before the event and during , Bryan who was so helpful all day and Patryk the chef for the delicious food - Will def be back ! Had a fantastic meal to celebrate a couple of family birthdays , as a party of 10 with a number of mixed orders , service was on point , Roxy and Bryon were very attentive , food was excellent in quality and quantity and presented beautifully , we will certainly be making Judges a regular destination

We had my wife’s special birthday party at judges with 60 quests . They were amazing from our first meeting , through ongoing what’s app dialog and on the day itself I can’t praise the whole team enough . The food was fantastic and service exemplary. Can’t recommend them enough .

A group of 12 of us had dinner at Judges last night and every single person said how delicious the food was, from the scallops to the steak and all in between. Great portion sizes, well priced and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, particular the Manager Roxy, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and enjoy the evening. Very nice, relaxed atmosphere, we will definitely be visiting again soon.

We visited on Friday with our family who live locally (we’re not from the area), and we had such an amazing experience. The customer service was outstanding — the staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we never felt like we were missing anything. The food was wonderful, and the cocktails were delicious. Roxy and Elliot in particular were fantastic, and I only wish I’d caught more names so I could mention everyone who looked after us. I work in hospitality myself, so I know how hard it is to make service run that smoothly — which made it even more impressive. It was an all-around fantastic evening, and we’ll definitely be back!

We had our Christmas dinner at Judges Restaurant in Barnet, and it was a truly wonderful experience. I started with the giant king prawns, which were absolutely stunning — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. For the main, I had the roast beef, which was very lovely and incredibly generous in portion size. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with a really nice aura that made the whole meal feel special and relaxed — perfect for Christmas. The combination of delicious food and a peaceful, elegant vibe made it a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food in a lovely setting. A huge thank you to Roxy, the manager, who truly made our experience exceptional. She was absolutely perfect from the very beginning, constantly checking that everything was just right and making everyone in the restaurant feel special and welcome. Her genuine kindness, attention to detail, and warm presence really stood out — she is such a lovely lady and a real credit to the restaurant

Very friendly front of house Bryan made us very welcome. And Roxy very helpful. Nice to go to a restaurant where the staff dont wear jeans. This was the best restaurant in Barnet before covid under different owners. Judges have resurrected it. We shall return

I booked for 5 people on the Lunch Menu to celebrate my mum's birthday. Service from Roxy & Iuah was attentive and the food menu very comprehensive which satisfied everyone's needs. Our starter were excellent, crab, prawns & calamari everything was presented fresh and tasty, mains were perfectly cooked seabass milanese, burger and duck leg. Only one critique was the duck leg was over salty. Overall superb experience and quality, we will return again.

Third time for Sunday lunch. Roxy and her team were excellent and so accommodating. They were quite pushed and could do with another person. Food is just ok.sent my lunch back twice first time meat was overcooked second time it was raw inside and cold third time I was past eating. They were all very apologetic it was a special occasion so was pretty upset. Not sure I would go back now.

Food was not as described on the menu, when dishes arrived veg was not there and potatoes with dishes were all chips even though some said mash. Service was extremely slow and dishes came at all different times. One waiter was very good he was attentive but the rest of the staff were so rude particularly the manager and did not respond and serve. The food is extremely expensive for what it is, London prices for Barnet but quality was not high enough to justify. I will not be going back.

Whilst the staff were very friendly, the food was a great disappointment. A crab cake starter was sent back because the core was frozen, olives were forgotten, two out of three sirloin steaks were overcooked (the waiter agreed when this was brought to their attention), the food took an extraordinarily long time to arrive, as did the bill. We shall not return. The best thing about the visit was the magician that performed some excellent tricks.

Horrible and upsetting experience at Judges today. Not at all family friendly. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Our children were behaving well but still like happy children (not in silence) and considering the extensive wait for the adults food (over half an hour after children had finished their mains) they did very well. Generally sat at their seats colouring and chit chatting and we were told multiple times to make them quiet in a very unpleasant way. Other adults were being far noisier but it was a Christmas eve festive lunch so some merriment expected. We were practically thrown out and our experinece was ruined. Very upset. The bill was extremely high considering we weren't even given desserts that were supposed to be included in the children's menu. We won't be going back and will not recommned to families. If you don't want children to come then don't offer a chilren's menu. We are lighter in pocket and sad that a nice friendly lunchtime get together has been soured by this awful service and rude manager.

This is one of the worst restaurant experiences that I have ever had. Once seated, we waited over twenty minutes for someone to come over and take our drinks order. It was then a further ten minutes for the food order to be taken. One of our starters was cold and another was a salad that was missing the dressing. The seafood pasta had a sauce which tasted like it was straight out of a bottle - loaded with extra sugar - to mask the blandness of the pasta itself. All steaks were very much overcooked, the staff agreed with this and offered to do nothing about it. What is also concerning is that the Voss still water came with no cap and tasted somewhat metallic, as if it had been refilled from the tap. For over sixty pounds per head (four people and only two alcoholic drinks ordered), I would expect far more in terms of food quality, standard of service and speed of attentiveness. To round off an evening of disappointment, the individual that carried themselves as the lead server (Maitre’D) did not take it upon themselves to address the many concerns and flaws that were pointed out to the staff throughout the evening. This venue is best avoided.

First and last visit. We wanted to support a local restaurant and found this one online. The hygiene rating wasn’t available, which we assumed was because the restaurant was fairly new. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We were seated by the door, which was left open despite it being cold outside. It took quite a while for the staff to acknowledge us or take our drink order. While the staff were friendly, service wasn’t very attentive and it was clear they were short-staffed. We ordered olives to arrive before our starters, but they didn’t appear, even after several requests. They eventually came after we’d finished our first course. When the starters did arrive, one was still partially frozen, and the other was missing several ingredients. Three of our four mains were steaks (two ordered rare, one medium), but all arrived overcooked. When we mentioned this, the response was simply that the chef was new and it was his first night, with no offer to correct the meals. The fourth dish, a seafood pasta, had an overwhelming amount of sauce that tasted store-bought rather than freshly made. Even the bottled water tasted off, more like tap water and was served without a lid. When we questioned it, we were told, “We never bring the lid to the table.” At over £60 per head for two courses (without alcohol), we expected a much higher standard. The only positive was the genuinely entertaining magician. Sadly, everything else fell short. We won’t be returning and can’t recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

Had a table booked for 4 people for lunch at 1.15. Arrived at 1.10 but unable to get into restaurant as a private party. A guest said there were no staff around and she had been told that anyone not attending the party should go to the side of the hotel, staff member there said go to restaurant. Tried to enter again but guests said it was a private party. Tried to phone but straight to voicemail. Left a message asking them to call. Called them 27 hours later after having no call back, only to get verbal abuse by a staff member for not turning up. When suggested I would leave a poor review he shouted that he couldn’t care less about reviews. Very disappointed in their customer relations and wouldn’t rebook.
