I visited on 9/18/2025 at 12:19 p.m.. I'm a black male and I was treated kind, courteous, and friendly by the male person that took my order. The receipt has the name Abel M., so I assume it is the name of the young man who took my order. I tried the Chicago dog and it wasn't bad. I would recommend and would purchase again based on this experience. The restaurant appeared to be clean and I didn't notice any dirty tables. I didn't look inside the restroom which is something I usually do to wash my hands or just check it out.

We don't have these in the East and it's one of my husbands favorites so I knew we had to stop... That chili tho!!!

First time visiting a Wienerschnitzel in a long long time while on vacation stopped to do laundry across the street and walk to get a bite to eat. This is one of the cleanest fast food places I have ever been to. The place was very clean felt safe eating there. The restrooms were extremely clean and kept up the service was fast with friendly and helpful staff. We had hotdogs, condos and fries. They all tasted great and the bread was really fresh and soft. This is by far one of the nicest fast food places I’ve visited. If I lived in Barstow I’d definitely go back.

Visited on 5/17/24 at 1pm On a road trip and stopped for lunch at the drive thru. The person taking our order was patient with me since it’s been years since visiting #weinerdude 😋🌭😋🌭. She made sure to read back my order which I always love. At the window she did the same and the person handing us our food made to sure to ask if we needed any additional condiments and was very nice. You can see customer service skills are used at this location. Ordered the following: All beef chili cheese dog - hot, fresh and delicious Chili cheese fries - fries were piping hot Corn dog - hot and delicious Between the food and customer service this should be on your list to visit.

We stopped for a quick bit on the way home and this location is CLEAN and the food is PERFECT! I’m a wiener connoisseur of sorts so I know a good corn dog when I have one! Also Angela was very nice. Overall would recommend.

I was traveling and had 4 cats in my car in the parking lot. We had a kennel jailbreak inside the vehicle as we were eating chili dogs. Luckily all cats were wrangled and no disasters.

So much better then I would of thought top teir quality service and dogs!

The local Wienersnitzel is now ready-opened! Fast service and good food however 2 customers in line in front of me received their food cold and returned to the counter to have their meals replaced. I don’t know if this is an ongoing issue?

I just can't pass up Wienerschnitzel. The chili dogs are pretty average, but I can't deny they are tasty. Same with the corn dogs. They do have some new lemonades --- I enjoyed the cucumber one. I'll try the watermelon lemonade next time.

PLEASEE update your hours!! I keep ended up going thinking you guys close later and it’s already closed. So from what I’ve seen this place close at 11. Not 12 not 1…. 11 PM.

Wienerschnitzel - it is certainly not what the same restaurant of years ago. But, it is the only consistent hot dog place on the West Coast. Their specialty meals are way to go. All beef, polish, and others. The ice cream cone is still a favorite. Rootbeer is available as well. Look for coupons in the mail.

Food was good a bit run down

A wiener is a wiener 'is a wiener !! You can dress it up. You can smother it with all your favorite toppings . You can call whatever name you want. So what's my point, you ask? If you've ever had a "Real" Wienerschnitzel, you would know what I am talking about. Do these "dogs" meet the criteria? Absolutely not. Pretending is a wonderful thing, but when you bite down on the dog and it touches your taste buds'you better be really hungry to ignore the missing taste of the real thing.

My review is based off of the fact I asked for a senior discount and the Asian lady asked me if I was over 65, first it’s not legal to ask your age in this setting, second seniors are 55+ and she didn’t give me my discount, very disappointing that people judge you off of your looks and investigate your age at a fast food place.

Ice cream is spoiled. Employees are not friendly, outside smells like sewage, foods usually fine, the ice cream is always a hit or miss.

Good food and nice people but really need to run the AC in summer especially for the workers it too hot in summer to not have A/C

The atmosphere is not very welcoming. The staff was eating when I got there. Lady came to take my order, never washed her hands after stuffing her face. Then went back to finish her food. The guy who made the food and served me my order never even made eye contact with me didn't say a word to me and handed me my bag. Every time I've been there the experience is similar. Everyone seems miserable.

I was there a year ago and got food poisoning so bad, I thought I was dying. In fact, it was so bad that I wanted to die. I was there from Seattle and missed a Penn and Teller show in Vegas because of that. It gave me PTSD, so I'm just now posting about it. Probably should have gone to the hospital. If it's close to closing, be careful. If they are discontinuing something soon, stay away from it. For me, it was the Octoberfest Brats. I can't even look at another Wienerschnitzel without feeling nauseated.

I wish there was an option for no stars very dirty roaches employees are dirty I don't like this place. The buns are stale you can taste it not fresh I can go on.

Usually, I’m pretty happy with this location. Maybe it’s because we don’t come often and when we do we have no concerns but today we order two large chili cheese fries. They were horrible, the fries in both orders were beyond over cooked that we couldn’t stab them with the fork. Was not satisfied with the meal!

So far all I can say is that management isn't on the job. I'm sure this location would have opened on time or the manager is a slacker. Here it is 9:50 and they're still not ready for business.

They never give you all your items. Bought a crowd pleaser meal and they didn't give me my chili dogs. I don't recommend this location. Better off driving to Victorville if you want what you pay for.

Do not eat the fries. I had previously become ill from eating bad fries at a different fast food establishment. I could tell the same thing when I tasted their fries. They tried to mask it by giving you really hot fries. The cashier looked dead on the inside like she knew something was wrong with the food. I didnt even bother trying the burger or hotdog.

We waited for WAY too long for our food (we were the only people on line) and when we got it the chili burgers didn't have any chili on them and they left out the hot dogs. We went back through to get our hot dogs and they ran inside from smoking and gave us the hardest/weirdest hot dogs I've ever bitten into. The girl was nice but obviously the food had just been sitting for wayyy too long. The hot dog literally has a long hard bumpy spot along the side. Disappointed.

The manager was a biiiooootchhhh .. she wouldn't even give water to a homeless man who was willing to pay for the water. Also she shut the soda machine off on my family and I. Then to take it a step further they said nothing to a man coming in there harassing a possible patron. This was the worst experience possible.

It was amazing how rude the staff was to another customer while I was there. Shocking. I am 63 years old and a life long fan if wienerschnitzel. A shamefully display for this independent store to display this attitude towards customers

Came here at 11:45, website says open to 12am. The cashier refused to serve me saying they were closed. Pretty sure it doesn’t take that long to make chili cheese fries. Came by 8/5

The mexican girl at the window tonight at 445, with glasses told me to park on the side. Because she wanted to do the DoorDash. People first, which I said, okay, then she forgot about me. So I wanted my money back, and then she started arguing with me. Telling me that it takes longer to cook the corn. Dogs and I can't believe how rude she was. I'll never go back there again. And I have been coming there for years, and never had service like that she wanted to fight. And argue with me. She was yelling at me.

HOLY HELL . It’s 103 out side but when you walk inside it’s twice as hot there is no AC running . I felt so bad for the worker she looked red and drained but tried to still keep her smile and was polite. We had to sit in our car just to eat . Best believe I’ll be writing to corporate this is unacceptable for customers and especially for employees. They had a floor fan running but let’s be real what is that going to do it’s just blowing hot air !!!
