They were extremely busy, so we definitely had to wait to place our order. The food was fresh and hot. The bathroom was a mess, and the toilet was broken.
They did great. Called in a big order and they had it ready in 15 min. Tasted great. Very friendly shift leader and young guy working the window. 3/21 lunch time

First of all, there's nothing sweet& spicy about it . It tastes more like Korean bbq, which I hate. The sandwich was dry, and where was the bbq sauce at?

Editing a prayer review.. find me a few times I've gone I've gotten raw chicken but those are just a few times over 10 years and each time I just don't go for about a year. All I've been going lately and I noticed that they're open until midnight or 1:00 a.m. so I figured I'd swing by there after work because I was really hungry... The lobby is closed and the damn line didn't move for like 20 minutes I kid you not. What's the point of being open so late if they're not going to push the line. I just left it ain't worth it anymore during the daytime you get raw chicken and at night they don't move stuff fast enough. I don't know what happened to my man Andre but ever since I quit seeing him there this place is just gone downhill
Ordered at the drive through and asked for my order to be cooked fresh. They told me to wait 5 to 10 minutes. At exactly 7 minutes they brought my food to me in the car. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I'VE HAD, PERIOD! I wish I could give them 5 more stars.
Honestly, this is the BEST Popeyes around. I drive from Crosby to this location. The food is great. They always have everything in stock, and the service is top notch as well. Even if we have to wait 15-20 mins for fresh chicken, it is well worth it!
Compared to the other Popeyes locations I've been to, this one is a shining beacon of excellence. The drive-thru line was fast, and my order was perfect. What more can you ask for? Excellent service during my visit.

I was never a really big popeyes guy because of the customer service but this lady Jaida really stepped up to the plate when it comes to hospitality and making me feel welcome. beautiful service and great food, i will be coming back with the family soon.

Stopped by this location on the way to beaumont. All the food was hot and fresh. DANA was working the drive thru and was very friendly and courteous. It's one of the best popeyes we have been to.
for years this place hasn't been very great. they haven't been nice, they mess up orders, and the quality of food went down hella. but this girl jaida man, DAMN. she put her foot forward and is bringing popeyes back to what its supposed to be. big shoutout to her.
The drive thru service today was great. Long line but they handled it like pros. Everyone was polite and kind. The order was perfect, the sandwiches were hot and fresh.

You won't find just any fast food experience when you come to this Popeyes. The staff is friendly and has fun with the customers, the food is hot and delicious as always, and as a bonus they give you an ample amount of napkins. I love stopping at Texas Popeyes because they have the chicken sandwich. Even though Popeyes is from Louisiana, you won't find this chicken sandwich anywhere in Louisiana. This is a must order item. The pickle, sauce, and juicy chicken make this worth while treat.
Had the best service at the drive through!! Reyna was very knowledgeable about the menu and the service was very fast. Ms Olga and Reyna always make sure my fries are fresh. I will always come back to this location ☺️

I'm not even a chicken guy. The atmosphere at popeyes and the people there have alwasy been intimidating. my server alana did a great job at making me feel welcome and taking my fears away. i'll be sure to come back with my mother to get some great service.

Came here for an early lunch on Saturday memorial weekend. I just want to say the two ladies working the drive thru were awesome and amazing. Polite and friendly, quick speed of service, and a genuine smile. These employees need to be recognized for their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Drive thru night shift service was amazing this young lady was really sweet. I was really surprised on how good the service was. Such a good employee please give her a raise for her good service. Words can’t describe it that young lady is going places, may god bless her and y’all’s good service and food.

Ow my gosh the spicy chicken sandwich is so bomb. It’s worth the hype. Every single time I never eat it every month but boi when I go ever couple months I remember it like the first time I ate it. It’s amazing and so good. If you order ask for extra sauce too and bottom with extra pickles. It’s even better .
Today was super slow. The line was around the building to the street entrance. People were being parked to wait for chicken. Today the wait was 25 to 30 min. After you placed your order. When we were paying they were nice enough to ask if we wanted to take mild chicken instead of spicy since some had just came up out of the fryer. We took it. It was still nice and hot and very delicious. Goid things come to those who wait.😁
Went through the drive-through, and everything was fine until I got to the window and paid for the food. They said those dreaded 4 letter words that no one wants to hear. PULL UP AND WAIT. I waited for 25 minutes. Was it worth the wait??? It's Popeyes! Nuff said.
They were doing good, but they changed their whole crew. The woman that took my order did not speak English! The manager had to wait on me because the other guy there was new and couldn't take orders. I watched customers come and go. My order was finally ready. When I got home the chicken was way overcooked and inedible. I won't be back for a long time to allow them to get a new crew. Kentucky Fried just gained more of my business.
For the long drive it took me to get there, the food came out fresh. Everyone seemed to be pitching in with the behind the scenes for prep, cook, bagging. etc. Considering I had 2 large orders placed before me, the wait was under 20 minutes. If you know how long it takes to fry chicken then its understood and not a thing to get all fussy over. Not a shrimp was spared that night!
First visit there wasn't that good. The food wasn't fresh but dried and chewy. If I go there again. I'll be checking my chicken before I leave.
I ordered a popcorn shrimp combo, With unsweet iced tea, red beans and rice, and a spicy chicken sandwich. Shrimp were over cooked, they forgot to give me my side dish. There was no tea available in the dining room, so they had to get it from the back. The spicy chicken sandwich was good, in fact nothing was bad, even the slightly over cooked shrimp, it is possible that they were not over cooked, but the grease was old. The shrimp did not have much flavor, kind of a let down. This particular franchise was not the cleanest Popeyes I’ve ever been in, but not nasty by any means. I’ve been to much better Popeye’s restaurants.
They forget sides. I have yet to get an order with everything that i've ordered.
The food is always good, as expected, for Popeye's. I enjoy their chicken, chicken wraps, and LOVE their buttermilk biscuits. The last time I went (about 2 years ago), their staff was horrible...and that was several different visits. I hope they aren't still pushing all of their drive-thru traffic up to the waiting area as soon as they pay...because that needs to end! The staff needs to be more expedient, and not pass that inconvenience onto the customers.
The service was good. Well, up till getting my order. I ordered spicy chicken and didn't get it. They gave me regular fried chicken instead. The young man who took my order told the ladies that my order was to go. So, I think he made the mistake. But over all the food was good and served in a timely manner.
Walked in and waited to order. They have 7 people working. Our drink was to much carbonation. Manager just said try something else and walked away. Rude in my book. Food was hot and good. Restaurant was clean.
I usually get a pretty good dish of chicken here. But the last time when I got Home, my chicken was overcooked. Actually it was burnt but I live 18 miles. So I couldn't turn around and come back next time. I'll open the box and sample my food before I leave the restaurant. The counter personnel needs to be a little more friendly with people too I know you're busy. I know you're tired but put a smile on your face quit being so cranky

I don't ever write reviews, but I felt this needed looked at. I am an uber eats driver. last Friday I went in to pick up an order. The manager as usual was nice and friendly had my order ready just went to get the drink. Her coworkers and young man and woman asked her if they needed to do anything wlse before they left, she told them no but as they were getting ready to leave the other manager that was hiding in the corner suddenly came out yelling I don't know if she was yelling at the kids or the other manager, but yelling something about the floor. i get that they are teenagers but yelling is not the way to get them to do something for you. The 1 manager gave me my drnk and told the kids thank you you can leave. As i was leaving I heard the other manager say she was not going to do the floors thats theyre job. I wantedto turn around and say something but I knew it was gonna cause more problems for that 1 manager. I have picked up food alot of times from here that 1 manager has always said hi smile. even through the yelling the manager smiled gave me the drink and told me to have a good night. i just wantt to say i think its wrong to be ugly yelling like that to get somebody to do something. I think she needs more training. i would not want to worrk for somebidy like that.
UPDATE: Went online to use my rewards on the app after leaving our home. Unable to order online because of website again saying they do not have the chicken sandwich so we made a special trip to Baytown. In store you are also not able to order anything using you rewards either as well. I asked for a manager and the young female cashier stated she was the manager-but she can’t and won’t make it right. So it appears I’m just SOL. She doesn’t care-so I left without any food. Disappointed that it appears this Popeyes' store manager doesn't care about their long-time customers. I suggest you don't use this location to order online and beware you can't redeem rewards in the store as well. So sad as in the past I have recommended this location on Garth Road near I-10 many times. We visited on the 8/21. OLD REVIEW:This location has really good service and fresh hot chicken. We drive to this store from Chambers Co. because it’s hands down better than the MB location which is a lot closer but has QA issues with their chicken sandwiches.
The chicken was overcooked. I had to go back in because we were not given eating utensils or napkins. They acted like it was an inconvenience to give those items to me. I will not go back to this location.
We got our chicken supper time on garth rd in baytown texas. The chicken looked like when we got home . Had been setting under the heating lamps some time . Wasn't fresh and hot. The price you pay gir this food needs to be fresh hot all the time. I Wasn't pleased with it At all . I would like a refund or new order fresh hot chicken. Need to hire people that knows how to cook chicken. Not people that know nothing about frying chicken.
My parents went and dined in here today and the gentleman that took her order was very rude. My mom told them that the chicken was dried up And he flat out told her "oh well". They had also placed an order to go and ask if they can get it served when they were ready to leave and the same guy made the order put it with what they ordered on their first ticket. He would not replace the food that was dried up and called the sandwich they got to be soggy. When she you mentioned it to them about the order wasn't supposed to be made until they were ready to leave the same gentleman just gave my mama ugly look and did nothing about it. If you ask me he doesn't need to be working there and he's the reason why I'm putting this up here for everyone to see because no one wants to experience that type of service when they go to spend their money somewhere food or anything.

I was also giving a receipt that was not eligible… I order a 3 piece spicy white meat only with red rice and beans and an extra side of Mac and cheese . The chicken seemed to be old I didn’t touch the rice and beans after eating the two wings and macaroni my stomach started to hurt I don’t know what it was but the Mac and cheese looked like mashed potatoes with cheese. Unfortunately I worked a 12 hour shift and didn’t bring lunch so I stopped here for a bite to eat . I should had took it as a sign from the first time I stopped and it was cash only .
I hardly make/post reviews, but this one really upset me. I Ordered a 12 piece box meal, got 10 pieces. Asked for half spicy, only got 3 spicy. My spicy sandwich was also cold and didn’t even have sauce on it. To top it off, I was the only one in line and waited 10 minutes for my food. This Popeyes location is the worst one I’ve been to.
The Night shift Teen employees Lacks in service, enthusiasm, and ability to understand the true value of customer Satisfaction. Constantly making mistakes with orders. Treating customers in rude manners, and Lack professionalism! We waited over an hour along with many other customer, And our orders were still wrong. Then when brought to the male Manager the teens over talked him and rudely addressed the Customers and male Manager. What an experience!
Forgot many things in our order. We ordered a 3 piece, got 2 pieces....forgot our French fries and asked for honey and forgot that too. I did call the manager. BUT would like to say their deep fried pickles are amazing! Per picture we ate them all....also because we didnt get fries!
Half the time they don't have any chicken around 3-4pm. There's a woman in there named Jada who has dropped my food and tried to serve it to me on TWO separate occasions. The wait in the drive thru is like going to a drive In movie.
Garth Rd. Store is TERRIBLE!! Order 1/2 lb of shrimp, took them 20 minutes to get my food because the forgot to drop it and then there were only 10 shrimp. I went to this location during lunch time today 10/11/19 and purchased the $10 two can dine special. It came with 5 pieces of chicken 3 legs a wing and a breast, I got 2 legs down and bit in the 3rd and it was not done you can clearly tell it was not done. This is a place I use to visit regularly because it’s quick and I work at the JCPenney across the street. They gave me a refund and I hope it doesn’t make me sick I’m only saying something because it was a busy time and the place was packed.
Don’t know who y’all got working the drive tru, but that women definitely should not be there or even work there for that matter if she don’t want to provide good customer service, if you hate your job that bad maybe just quit! I’ve had to leave the drive tru twice because I don’t want someone with a nasty horrible attitude greeting me sure as heck serving me my food, seriously this lady needs to GO.
Ordered food, waited in line, handed them the money, THEN they decided to tell me they had no change. A simple sign at the drive thru or front door is all it takes. Offering to keep the change you don't have is not acceptable.
Order food from DoorDash, and They forget my items, and tried to get ahold of them took 15-30 mins to get ahold of someone. They did say they add those items in the next time I ordered. But I Ordered again, they didn’t have one of my items, and again couldn’t get ahold of them to have them change the item so they gave me whatever. Then they ended forgetting my biscuits. It’s very frustrating when they mess up and you can get ahold of them! Hopefully night managers can supervise the cooks and double check bags before they are handed out for take out items and delivered items!

Sat in line for well over 45 minutes. Had I not ordered my food before and already paid for it I would have drove off. Every 5 minutes or more a car would move. By far one of these slowest places I've ever been to. Go elsewhere it's not worth it. People working there were just standing around not doing their job even the managers. Also the girl on the speaker was extremely rude. The guy working the window was so high someone else had to get me my order. Also does no Popeyes give sauces anymore. Four different ones I've been to in the past few months not a single one of them has given me any
Never tried this place until tonight but I won’t be back. The customer service is bottom tier. The attitude of whoever the woman was working the drive thru tonight was awful. We wanted to order more food than what we were able to because she rushes us so hard and in such a rude manner is was stressful to place an order. I get everyone has bad days but there are hiring signs on ever business here. If you hate your job so much, please let someone else have it because some manners and customer service skills could really take you a long way and you lack that.
Almost had a good experience until I was accused of lying. I came on my lunch break to get some food for my coworkers and I when I noticed that they had given me the wrong drinks(3 sweet teas instead of 1 and 2 dr.peppers) I had told a employee that my drinks were wrong and then he brought out another coworker(disrespectful/rude) that told me that I was lying and to show them the drinks, after confirming that the drinks were wrong they came back with the most watered down Dr.pepper I had in my life. I’ve never had such a trash experience at this location in my life but I will not be returning any time soon.
We had to wait 20 mins for our family meal. Then when we got home .We only had a12 piece chicken instead of 16 . I called several times no answer .
I order today 8 pcs of chicken dark meat( thigh and legs) and they offered tuesdays special with sides and i accepted it in my receipt my order is 4 legs and 4 thighs and waited for 15mins for this and when the service crew lady came to give my order i told her wait i wanted to check if they give me the chicken that i requested still that service crew didn’t waited and walked away even though i told her to wait they didn’t give the part of chicken that i requested which they give me a wing and milk part. This is not the first time it happened several times…so beware check the chicken part that you requested…if there’s a zero star i will give it to them for not giving a customer’s satisfaction!
We ordered 12piece mixed, m potatoes, red beans n rice,Mac n cheese was old as hell, chicken old with breaststroke n thighs 1leg. They won't answer phone to take this complaint every time we go there after lunch run they give us old food I want my money back. The service sucks.
The night shift played on the phone when I called. Someone answered the phone in Spanish and when I asked to speak to someone in English twice another person got on the phone speaking Spanish again. Then I asked a 3rd time to speak to someone in English and a guy answered the phone and as he was talking to me. He decided that it would be hilarious to start talking to me in an Asian accent and the proceeded to tell me goodbye in an Asian language. I could clearly hear them laughing in the background and I didn’t find anything funny. Im currently in the hospital and I don’t appreciate these overgrown children playing in my ear nor with my food.
Just order 8 piece abs ask him for bbq sauce and ranch, the cashier said he put on basket. I trust, but once I reach home no sauce at all. Very bad. Whoever own this location please train your employees manner and do right job. I pay for my order and it’s not free. If there’s 0 star I rather give 0 star.

Never got a chance to place my order. There was a woman screaming who I believed to be the manager. I stood inline for ten minutes behind another customer who also hadn't ordered yet as well. They saw us waiting to order but didn't seem to mind letting us just stand there like idiots. I've been involved in the fast food industry and I never let my crew let a paying customer wait, and to not even acknowledge them is a firing offense. Please fix this or I will not be coming here anytime soon.
Don't come to this location even if it's an hour before closed. As we get to the drive through, the man that would be taking our order said it not once but twice that we would have to wait on chicken which we said was fine. And when we tried to order he said they don't have enough chicken for the 8 piece family meal and stated that we would have to wait again which we were fine with, and proceeded to said it would be 25-30mins. We left because it was very clear they don't want to do their job. And like I stated we went about an hour before they closed.
Hello, The chicken was made fresh. However, the sides were not hot. Additionally, the service was not it. The girl with the glasses and braces was not giving the adequate service. She was confused as to what I was saying when I asked for tenders and when I returned the chicken after asking for wings not to be packed she laughed at me. I ultimately think if you’re paying for it, it should be done to your liking within context. Will I be coming again? Not to this location. -1/10
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO PUT ALL DARK MEAT IN THE BOX? Every time I go here, which is at least once a week I order all dark meat and I say it two or three times at the register and they act like it's no problem. 8 out of 10 times there's four or five breasts in there. Why is this hard to understand? The younger generation doesn't give a crap about doing their jobs. Sad.
Person taking order couldn't get it right. We had to tell her several times what we wanted. I ordered the 24 wings for $21.99. Got home & there was only 14 hard pieces of chicken. Will not be back at this Popeyes.
Worst place. Can't even get there orders right. Then tell me it will be a Inconvenience to them, if I came up and got the food that I paid for that I didn't recieve so whenever I stated that I was coming up to Get my food she got rude, then they called me back, And told me that I couldn't get my food cause it would cost the company? But they can cost me and be rude, can't even speak proper English as well. They all need a trainers course in proper management and customer service that is for sure. Would be wise to not go to this one they will mess up your food or not give it to you thats for sure. Oh, and the worker on the phone even stated that they complained about my order because it was so large a family of 4. I'm sorry. How can I leave a 0 star review. 1st they take 2 hours for 1 sandwich that was ordered ahead of time, 2nd y’all give the people behind me their biggg meal before me. They had 4 big bags I just needed 1 small bag. 3rd y’all kept telling me to move up but no one was behind me. Everyone was leaving cause you weee taking long and having attitude. Worst experience ever at least at the one at Alexander dr they take better care of us.
Extremely tired of this location and the incompetence! I order the “NAKED BLACKENED TENDERS” not fried, not breaded, regular NAKED! The last time I ordered this the drive through argued with me and the manager had to intervene and corrected her she then had the nerve to say “Girl what you want to drink”. This time once again I get fried breaded tenders, it’s absolutely ridiculous that I have to fight to get an order for something that is offered by Popeyes! The lack of respect for customers, accuracy of orders & lack of training is absolutely astounding!

Dont bother ordering online, ordered 40 min before showing up, see exactly what i order just sitting there, asked several times about the order and still waited 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I asked and they said they barley started. Told them to cancel and they told me to do it which I dont get a refund. I ended up calling corporate and easily got the redund back by explaining what I ordered was just sitting there. The total time I have them qas 40 min while I was shopping, and 30 minutes if me waiting. For two sandwiches. Terrible store.

This was the first place my wife & I wanted to go after being stationed overseas without one & the management & experience sucked. We tried to go inside the doors were locked, when other patrons tried to let us in they were told not to, the manager kept locking & unlocking the dine-in area doors to let some patrons in while trying to force others to the drive through even though their lobby hours says they were supposed to be open. SMH because it was the only one to go to there. This place needs to look at new management.
OMG, I had a coupon and still didn't receive my order. I chicken $9.99 and a coupon for chicken strip I receive a 3 piece of reg chicken. I told my husband not to go because of the simple mistakes. He was 😡. This is all the time, I been stopped going. I wish I could say something good about this place but I will just stay home and do my own cooking. To keep PEACE.
The kids that they have working over night needs to be fired i have been sitting here for over 30 minutes and they never dropped my food also didn't put everything in bag and the name on my receipt is steven !!
Late night shift 11 o clock pregnant looking girl rude and flicked me off very racial slurs because I didn't want to order and changed my mind . Manager did nothing and just made me wait . I will file a big complaint to corporations and immediately have them written up and termination I should not feel this unwelcome to eat food. Now I don't trust it. This is by far the worst Popeyes I have ever experienced. They are nothing but teenagers in here working and playing around. They are constantly messing up orders system down cash only because they updated the system order at the window place the order, but forget to say that you can’t do any promos because the system is down the manager doesn’t know how to price adjust to make the amount work correctly, so tries to overcharge Question her and she catches an attitude Nothing is ready go inside. There’s a line. Nothing is ready. She’s gonna bring food out to me, but she has a backpack on her back ready to leave. She’s now joking around with the teenagers that work in here how are you gonna bring my food out if you’re leaving so I would like to know is this how Popeyes handle their customers your system is down so overcharge me on the promo not a good look! Furthermore, I’m giving a receipt that you can’t even read!
