My brother and I were the first people there this Saturday. The staff was so accommodating to us and even put on my brother’s favorite season with his favorite doctor. Renee our server was fantastic and knowledgeable about all things Doctor Who. The food was just incredible. We had fish fingers and custard which was surprisingly tasty. My brother had the buffalo wings and cornbread stuffed waffles, I had the beef cottage pie and both were sooo good! We talked to the owner, Sherry, who was so nice and knowledgeable as well of all things Doctor Who. We will 100% be back!
It is quaint and friendly accomdating. Food was delicious flavorful. Okay I added salt to one item. I would rather add. Small but didn't feel cramped. One of the best ice teas I ever had and they can make a good cup of coffee. We will be back.
Walked by and noticed some Dr. Who things. Inside I found a full force Dr. Who themed restaurant… awesome. The menu gently nods to the series while making some delicious items. As we sat and enjoyed our selections Dr. Who played on the TV. The bathroom was a fun trip too. Staff was welcoming and friendly but don’t go in to look about without sitting down and trying something from the menu. Want to return and enjoy more.
This is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. We traveled over an hour to get here and it was WELL worth the trip. There's so much to see and the food is phenomenal!! (Even the fish fingers and custard!) The owner is so friendly and obviously loves Doctor Who AND cooking. I can't wait to visit again. (I would have taken more pictures but I was busy watching Doctor Who with other people who love it as much as I do).
The most wonderful surprise to stumble upon in Beacon! The Pandorica restaurant is filled with sights, sounds and a menu that will excite any Whovian. We loved roaming through the restaurant to see all the memorabilia and art from the series. The delicious food is all made fresh in-house (Fish fingers and custard! Bill Pott’s Chips!) and the staff was a blast to talk to and just added to the whole experience. We can’t wait to return. ✨
The decor is the best for anyone in love with Doctor Who. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband had the duck, I had the cottage pie, my son had a burger, my daughter had macaroni and cheese. If you can, absolutely try the desserts, they were to die for. The waiter was very kind and tended to everything we asked. The tea was wonderful and even came in little pots. Highly recommend and we will be stopping again on our way through town. One of my new favorite places.
Such a fun stop if you’re a fan of Doctor Who! From the decor to the names of the dishes. The food is very good but be prepared to spend a little money, it’s not the cheapest option on Main St. The main reason to do it is decor! So much fun! Giant painting of the Tardis explosion and everywhere you look there is another aspect of the show there to surprise you. Love it!
What began as an English tea room has transformed over the last few years into an other worldly dining experience. If you are a fan of Dr. Who, Science fiction, or even just unique dining experiences, The Pandorica Restaurant is the place to go on Beacon, NY's Main Street. There is plenty of seating and the decor is pretty amazing to look at, and explore. The owner Shirley does a fantastic job of making you feel at home, even in another dimension. The food is delicious and worldly, based on classic English fare, with many other cultures and influences adding to the plate of options! Oh yeah, and if you have to use the restroom, prepare to be transported in the TARDIS.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. We went primarily because we are Dr. Who fans and it was recommended to us by a friend. It didn’t disappoint. The decor was great. The ambience was wonderful! The food was fresh, well seasoned, and enjoyable. Dessert and coffee was great. The service was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend it. Don’t forget to go the bathroom there. It’s an experience all on its own! 😜
A nice restaurant if you are interested in Doctor who. The waitress was so nice and friendly. I like how honest she was, since I ordered fries only, she told me since they use air-fryer, may feel dry if I don’t want gravy on top. Also, the meal which supposed come with fries from other picture, no long cork with it. And they changed to a bag of chip.
The food was okay, they were out of pierogies and only airfry their french fries. The hibiscus-berry tea they make in-house is perfect, and the decor was great. I'd like to try the tea and finger sandwiches next time, those weren't on the menu but other tables had them and they looked delicious!
If you are a Dr. Who fan, you'll love the vibe of The Pandorica and all things on the menu in relation to the show. Food was average and overpriced. We went here for lunch, ordered some menu items to share, drank some good tea, and had more of an awe towards the decor of the place. An episode of Dr. Who was playing on the TV. ,Tou can't help but stare at a lot of the cool things arranged all around from the main area to the hallway towards the bathroom. Our server was friendly and attentive. Parking is along a busy main street, and you'd check for parking signs. If you park nearby, The Pandorica is within walking distance too. All payment is accepted. It's definitely a fun vibe and would be a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy the vibes in the establishment.
Authentic British food (derogatory). Just like mum used to make (derogatory). Yeah, the food sucks. It's not actively bad, like nothing is burned or anything, but it is bland and underwhelming and textureless. And overpriced. Super overpriced. But you're not here for the food, you're here for the environment, and sure enough Doctor Who fans will find plenty to coo over, from a TARDIS-munching T-Rex installed over the entryway to the toilet (whose door is also TARDIS-themed) to what look like reconstructions of props and some cute portraits and knitted figures of various Doctors. The space is large and airy, which maybe limits the atmosphere a bit - feels like it should be smaller and winding, with hidden corners, but I guess I can't blame them for not moving to an entirely different building! However, it seems like a great venue for watchalongs and group meet-ups. The staff are all friendly, and you'll likely encounter a bunch of fellow nerds to swap stories and such with (but who else is going to come here?). I believe they also organise events with cast members who are in the area, so keep an eye out for that. So yeah, if you're passing by, have the money and want a bit of novelty (and don't really care about food), then this will suffice. And if there are nerd events going on, it's probably great. But if you just want to eat, there are so many better places to get food in Beacon.
Stumbled upon this restaurant while researching where to eat in the Hudson Valley and we had to stop in. I'm a HUGE fan of Doctor Who and what's better than a themed restaurant. I really, really wanted to love this place but it was just ok. The decor was nice, they didn't go over the top with Doctor Who related items but it was just enough where you kept finding new things to look at. The menu also had cute items listed that also referenced Doctor Who. They also have the show playing in TV, so that was cool too. The food was where we were let down. We split the spinach dip appetizer and it was just ok. Nothing that memorable about it. For entrees, I had the turkey BLT on jalapeno cornbread. I love cornbread and I love heat and I was curious how well this would work as a bun in a sandwich. Well, it wasn't really what you would consider to be cornbread, more like Texas toast and it looked like it had jalepenos in it but I couldn't taste them. The bread was also incredibly dry which was a shame because thar impacted the whole sandwich. The fries were seasoned with a nice blend of spices and tasted good. My husband got a different turkey sandwich and he said it was just ok. Decor is good but not enough to make up for the food.
