Hadn't eaten Papa John's very much since moving from Mid County. Use to be my favorite pizza and decided to give it a try while at work in Beaumont. It's been a few years since I've had it and let's just say I was really disappointed. It started with the fact I was charged almost $13.00 for a small pizza. I accepted it cause of the memories of how good it was and figured it had to be a good size small., boy was i yet again disappointed. It was basically the same size as one of those poor people pizzas I get at Walmart in the little small cardboard boxes for like $1.59, except even those are better. The crust was so bland and just such a let down. Maybe the memory is always better than the actual thing idk , but for the price and quality I'll go with someone else next time. Had dream they would build a Papa John's near me but guess I'm over that dream now. Let me add though the young man that made my pizza and such was great. Really polite and pleasant to deal with..so at least customer service was on point.. excuse my dirty paws I was at work..

Visiting area, was having Pizza delivered to our hotel 10 minutes. We ordered 3 medium pizzas, knots, a dessert, extra garlic sauces and a 2 liter. They were busy so it was going to be 1.5 hours, understandable. They use door dash to deliver, Leslie, the dash driver sends a text saying she handed me the pizza, SHE DID NOT!! called the number in the text and only could leave a voicemail, still 12 hours later no call back. Call Papa John's on Calder, manager says to wait 5-10 minutes for door dash then call back. 15 minutes later call Papa John's saying still no delivery, he says he's sending a Papa John's driver with our pizza. 30 minutes later we get only the pizzas. Door dash driver also got a 20% tip since you pay online!!!!! So we were out $83, minus the three pizzas, and two and half hours later.

Do not order from this location. They charge your credit card, and the almost 2 hours when trying to find out why your pizza is not delivered, they tell you that they never had an order for you. After a heated discussion with the manager, she was trying to give me a customer service number to call, but hung up on me when I asked for her name.

Do not get ANY food from this place! They use door dash to do their deliveries because they're too cheap to hire actual delivery people! The door trash people will theive your food! This is them actually taking peperoni off our pizza (yes we do tip) and this isn't the first time! This Papa John's is complete garbage!

TERRIBLE DO NOT!! Ordered a large pizza pepperoni pizza at night and received a BURNTT inedible thin crust pizza that wasn’t even cut properly, highly disappointing.

If ur in a low car, prepare to bottom out entering the parking lot. Pizzas show they are ready to pick up 15 to 20 minutes before they are ready, and I was told it was an accident the first time, this is the second time with the same issue. Food is mediocre, similar concerns to the reviews below. This location needs another employee shakeup, the quality is weirdly much better at the other three PJ'S I've been to lately.

This is one of the nastiest places I e ever bought food from. The pizza wasn’t fresh at all plus they gave extra toppings that wasn’t ordered. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

I ordered pizza sticks and supposed to be 10 pieces they gave me 8 , and two tiny stupid pieces. I called supposed GM he acted like he was owner saying that it’s how it’s made if you don’t like it don’t order. I asked this bonehead if this is good customer service he said it was. Avoid these losers. I guess forgetting customers is okay , I will eat elsewhere—-pay this jerk by eating elsewhere until they learn customer is always right,

If I could give zero stars I would! I’ve ordered at the Papa John’s in Lumberton dozens of times and never had a problem with them taking large bills. When I placed the order in the app and chose the cash option NOWHERE did it state that they don’t accept large bills! Said it would be delivered in 20-30 minutes. Over an hour later the girl finally shows up and tells me she can’t accept large bills. Papa John’s in lumberton has 1000x better pizza and better staff so I won’t be returning to this location with my business!

Horrible service food was awful, cold and the bread sticks were burn. They don't give out parmesan cheese and red packing with your meal. I ask for some and they were going to charge me 10 cents per packet. I called the Manger he was very rude and didn't care he rather you go somewhere else for pizza. If you want good pizza and great service go to Mellow Mushroom they have great pizza and they don't charge a dime for their condiments. Do better Papas Johnns are you will go out of business.

I had a tough day and I saw the heart shaped Valentines pizzas that Papa Johns was advertising. As a rule I like thin crust one topping pizzas so I ordered 2. But theirs was very dry and tasted like cardboard. My family of 5 even the 4 year old that’s eats anything didn’t think it was good at all. I was left with 2 pizzas that nobody ate because it was so bad. I later spoke to the manager about the unhappiness of this particular order but she just said she was sorry it wasn’t up to our family’s preference. Not happy at all about this pizza or my customer service experience. There is lots of room for improvement in both areas. I won’t be ordering from this location ever again. In fact, I’m deleting my app.
