So this place doesn't stick out at you but its really worth the visit. We went right before church ended and it got very busy. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The food does touch your soul, bring a big appetite too!

Home style Soul Food at it's Finest! A-1, Rosie's!! Phenomenal. I had the Smothered Pork Chops, Candied Yams, and Okra 'n Tomatoes, With a slab of Dark Chocolate Cake. Only complaint? Cake WAS just a LIIIITTLE BIT dry. But everything, and everyone, else was STELLAR. Highly recommend to all and sundry. And ...that GRAVY?? Man! Haven't had the like in years a 'plenty...since my Gran died, I've not had such fine, down home good food. And the GRAVY!?...shhhh...!! Now! Don't say this loud, cuz she'll roll right over in that Casket...but (I do love n miss you SO, Gran! Oh man I do!!) But .... Rosie's is better than my Gran's was. Omg it was rich, smooth, and creamy without one HINT of lump, and no taste of too much CornStarch as a trick either!! PERFECTION IN ALL CATEGORIES. Only thing...Id sink a tad more capital into interiors and decor...but...if you're looking for good a**food and not worried about good a**table arranging and such...? Knocked it out tha' PARK Rosie's... Firing on all cylinders, y'all!! Superb.

We arrived as they opened at 11am. Our choices were Ox Tails, Beef Tips, Smothered Pork Chop, and Pigs Feet along with two sides and a drink for each. The food was highly seasoned, slightly salty, and well cooked. The portions were very good, more than we could eat. There was not a lot of color in the choices of sides, but they were also good. I was a little disappointed when I saw the store-bought desserts being brought in, so we passed on those. Our bill totalled $53, which is about standard for a restaurant meal for 4.

Excellent southern "soul" food. If you like smothered pork chops, beef tips, meatloaf, etc... This is your place. Large plates at a reasonable price. Staff is always friendly.

Wow! What a roadside find in Beaumont, TX. Don't let the sparse dining room or cafeteria style food line deter you. Chef cooked us up the fried chicken to order. Gave us a tastes of oxtail and pork-loin while we waited. Plentiful sides - greens, okra, mac and cheese, yams and rice with drippings. Sometimes you lose when taking off-the-beaten-path chances... this one was a winner.

I have eaten here several times. The best and only dish I reccomend are the beef tips. The absolute worse, to me is the meatloaf. I have never tasted anyting like it..dogfood? I think it needs a deep cleaning, and I don't know, I love my people but the food ain't it. Go to ROCKIN A.

I was upset with my food. Thirty four dollars for a plate with 3 pork chops over rice, corn and mashed potatoes and gravy ,prices outrageous And quality of the food is not good i ate 1 pork chop and wasted the rest no no no I came from baytown for my soulfood today and my place was closed but this place will never be a second option again

Meatloaf was undercooked. Looks to be cooked in a microwave. Red on the outside brown inside.

Just left this place and I am HIGHLY dissatisfied. First disappointment was the price. We left with 2 plates with a $50 total. One oxtail plate(mostly fat) was $22 alone. Food is bland and the macaroni had ZERO flavor. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I’m shocked they are an actual restaurant. Stomach bubbling as I type……
