Normally love going here when I have to go into ft worth the staff this time made us feel as if they were just waiting for us to leave as soon as we were seated and the servers came to the table which made the atmosphere less than what I am used to. Still love that this place has buffett hibachi and sushi is amazing in quality and you can always count on them refreshing if you say you need it. The chocolate fountain wasn't good this time tasted like watered down chocolate.

I am so glad this place is here instead of the old buffet. They truly worked miracles inside. It is clean and well spread out. Nice atmosphere for sure. The food was good as well. Plenty to choose from. They even had a chocolate fountain, lol! Employees were friendly and helpful.

This is very different from other Asian all-you-can-eat buffets. The place is modern and very clean. The food is decent quality with nice touches here and there. I actually ate clams there, and that is saying ALOT for a buffet!!! Will come back :)

Have a visit for our first time at Asian Star Buffet. A very well established buffet for the whole family. You have your typical fried rice, a variety of wholesome foods for all taste buts. Sushi for sushi aficionado and your Mongolian BBQ grill for us aficionados. Bring the whole family and have a very good tasting buffet for everyone. Customer service was awesome. Will come back and very well recommend.

Checked out the recently opened Chinese buffet. The inside was nicely renovated. Clean and spacious. Staff was attentive at this visit. King buffet in plano is my benchmark for Chinese buffets in dfw (for consistent flavor and freshness)So was glad to see a new buffet popping up in Fort Worth and curious to see how it would compare. The dishes offered were the usual standards that you would expect to see. Hot and sour soup was fine. Chicken wings could be a little more flavorful. Fried rice was decent. Other items were ok. They do offer crabs on Fridays ,so might return to see how that is. Food 3.5 Place: 4

The food here is actually really good — I came for my 18th birthday and loved it, and this was my third time back. I brought my boyfriend, and for two people with drinks it came out to about $38, which is a great price. BUT. The one lady who brought our sodas and handed us the bill decided she wanted to flirt with my man like she was part of the combo meal. Touchy, smiley, doing the most — and of course he didn’t notice because he’s slow sometimes 😭. I noticed though. VERY much. Ma’am, I came to eat crab legs, not watch you try to audition for “Steal Your Man Buffet.” Other than that one person doing extra for no reason, the food was great and we enjoyed ourselves.

Food was very bland. Not what I was expecting. I like great tasting food and immediately I was thrown off by the tasteless fried rice. The stable of Asian cuisine was terrible and didn't have flavor. Meal was over then! Not sure who's their target group; but it's not the Asian flavor I was hoping for. Will not be back

OK, so obviously this is a buffet, but typically when you go to buffet, everything is decently edible. I ran into several food items that were just not edible. I found myself spitting it out into a napkin. This is a bad sign. It’s funny cause my kids and I came here a year ago and we had such a good experience but this year it’s gone downhill. This will probably be the last time I ever set foot in this place. I would’ve been better off buying two chipotle bowls at least at that point I know all the food is fresh and edible.

I’ll warn you before you drive there, since their website doesn’t work. They consider kids to be 10yrs old and under. Anything past 10yrs old is an adult price. Your 11yr is an adult. Yeah. Ridiculous. Atmosphere is very uncomfortable too. I suggest driving to lake worth. Way better experience

The food was not fresh and not very hot the dinner rolls was hard they be sotting under the heat lamp to long the food tonight was not good at all and The wider drop stuff on the floor and wouldn’t even pick it up. We had to ask for something else to drink. He didn’t offer to get us nothing when this place first opened. It was really good service was good and everything, but it has gone downhill big time the food was cold. The service sucked. The food was not good. It was not fresh and when I complained to the lady at the front desk, she could act like she could care less, but that’s OK because tomorrow morning I will call Food handling service the handles these restaurants and I will turn them in and I will not stop until I get this restaurant shut down.

The food is OK but every time you go in there, nobody speaks good English so what one person does another person don’t do they I go in there for happy family and I asked the extra eggs so the first time I went in there the egg was a dollar for the extra eggs. I was like OK Ask the extra eggs again. The second time I went in there it was three dollars for one extra egg so I was like OK so then the next time I came in there it was four dollars for one extra egg but this is the trick point when I came again. Oh my... I'm sorry to say, the quality of the food was not even close to what I'm used to back home. Out of around 15 items, I probably only liked 3 of them. They had a big variety to choose from, so that's a plus. The fried dumplings were the best, and the teriyaki chicken and flounder filets were ok. With most of the items, I took one bite to taste and no more. I totally didn't make my money's worth because I literally lost my appetite before trying everything. The only positive was the service. They were extremely attentive in picking up dishes and refilling drinks, and they were very friendly and always smiling.
