Found Bottega Bay reataurant in 2017 whilst in Portals Nous. Excellent food and service. Been again whilst here......nothing has changed!! Derek and Lorna are exceptional hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Food is really mouth-watering and great ambience. Really cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks to all, we will certainly return!!

These guys know steak. It is a great experience as they bring your steak on a hot stone rare, but you can slice it and cook it yourself to your like. The steaks are aberdeen Angus, and are tender and succulent. You wont be disappointed.

Vi hann med en sväng till, innan avfärd hem till Sverige. Fin grillad köttbit serverad på lavasten, som man steker klart efter eget tycke - under tiden man äter, är verkligen värt besöket. Trevlig personal med härlig omtanke, på skottiskt vis. Easy - peasy. Varm mat är underskattat. Varför krångla till det?

Geniales Restaurant. Wir hatten von der Karte einiges gegessen, Tapas, Steak sowie Salte. Alles war einfach köstlich! Ein tolles Team, sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und immer gut gelaunt. Sehr empfehlenswert!!

An unserem letzten Abend ein weiteres kleines Highlight ! Das Steak auf Lava Stein zum selbst anrichten - ein Gedicht ! Das service zuvorkommend und freundlich - der schottische Akzent der Besitzer rundet das ganze perfekt ab ! Unbedingt vorbeikommen.

Un vrai régal, la viande est juste délicieuse assaisonnée comme il faut. Meilleur resto de Portals , on vous le recommande à 200%. Le gérant ainsi que les serveuses adorables , au petits soins, souriant, accueil super sympa.

Sehr lecker ist zwar kein typisches Tapas Restaurant wie angegeben aber das Essen ist sehr lecker Steak auf Hot Stone sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend der Koch kommt selbst an den Tisch um zu fragen ob es schmeckt 😀 alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen 😉😃

So so good! The service was werry welcoming and warm. The stakes were insanely good. Compliments to the chef! We took Sirlion and Rib eye, both were very good. As well ate a dessert copa chocolate chip, which was as well very good! Absolutely would come back again!

Die Saucen werden stets frisch zubereitete und jeder Burger, jedes steak, mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Wir hatten ein wenig Wartezeit (für uns als Gäste nicht unangenehm) woraufhin wir ein Wasser aufs Haus bekamen. Man wurde auch gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei und ob man sich wohlfühle. Ein wirklich gelungener Abend. Preis /Leistung ausgesprochen angepasst, für das was man geboten bekommt und wie gut das Essen schmeckt. Honest to heart the best filet I've ever had. Incredible service, incredible food, just perfect. A friend dropped a fork on accident and within 10 seconds a waiter brought a new one without us even asking. 11/10 would recommend and go there again.

Very arguably the best meal we had in the Illetas area given that much of the local food isn’t Spanish and instead mediocrely caters for general international tastes. Great steak, great fish and done differently where you part cook it yourself in hot stones. Would go again

I went back and yet again it was amazing. I had the pleasure to try the exclusive burger that will come out in two weeks called the fresh Angus Guacamole burger. The meat was cooked to perfection, the chips were crispy and the guacamole was fresh, you could tell it was self made. Definitely in my top 3 of best burgers. I recommend this restaurant without a doubt

I went there just because it’s in front of my hotel and didn't expect too much. It turns out one of the best steak I ever had, the steak is so tender probably I not a bad cook lol…Anyway it definitely worth to try even though you drive 30 minutes from the city center! And the people are so friendly and check you time to time.

My family and I ate here since we were staying locally. Everyone enjoyed everything we ate - appetizers, pizza and the curry. The food was delicious and we had a bonus visit by the chef who was so kind to our daughter to help her cut her pizza into a million little pieces at her request - ha! Wonderful family owned restaurant, exceptional service and very sweet. It felt great to support a family business. We will be back on our next trip to Mallorca!

By far the best place to eat around here. Starters amazing, we tried nearly all of them, presentation and quality superb. Steaks on your own hot plate is a fabulous novel idea and the fillet was melt in your mouth. Finished off with a gorgeous sticky toffee pudding! Our third visit is already booked. Don’t miss a meal here if you are in the area. Hostess is also a treat, friendly, lovely lady.

The best steak ever??? YES!! We arrived in Majorca yesterday and found this place when reviewing ratings on trip advisor, it didn’t disappoint......the most juiciest Fillet steak ever, I left a bit of mine on the hot stone and it was well done but still buttery soft and tasty. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Derek (the owner) was a fantastic host making us feel as if we had been friends for life :-) One of the best meals ever and for 3 of us cost less than many (much poorer) meals I have had for just 2 people in the UK If you are here you must visit, if you are not in my opinion it’s worth getting on a plane for!!!

We had a jug of sangria and a cheesecake to share for dessert 🍨. The owner was lovely and we were given a free shot at the end. So all in all its a 5* but on another day I would give a 4*. For me, there is a few little things, sauces shouldn't come in sachet, and I felt the atmosphere was missing something .... I'm not sure what, but maybe it was the in your face we are Scottish, dont get me wrong i love the scotts, maybe blue isn't my colour but I can't work it out. It's definitely a lovely place for a meal 😋

We opted for the haggis bonbons and warm bread and olives to start then both had the ultimate fillet which was tender and well seasoned. Somehow found room for dessert - both the salted caramel cheesecake and hot chocolate fudge cake were to die for. All washed down with a bottle of chilled Chardonnay which complimented the food perfectly. We left very full and very happy. If you're in the area, it's a must visit. We'll definitely be back...

Ribeye (chuleton) was fabulous. Ive been to Hawksmoor, Gaucho and STK in London in the last year, this steak was better than those. Seared and raw and served on a hot stone so could cook each slice my way. Steak was hot all through eating. They moved to Illetas from Portals, so much better than Moo Moos (annoying argentinian guy ruins it there, plus steaks are average). Scottish lady owner is friendly and great. Staff superb, seriously go to this place, its great.

Small portions, mid level quality and prices slightly above average in my perception

I'm a Portuguese in Palma on vacation. Red wine is served room temperature, here it came cold, no protection against spills, servet spilled on table and my shoe. Ordered tempura shrimp, not crunchy enough and doey in the middle, seemed frozen. Ordered argentinian ribeye and entrecote, steaks on the stone need to be served immediately, while still raw, often with garlic, salt and pepper for the customer to season while cooking, here it came already halfway cooked. Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The ambience and music was great though.

A prime example of why Google reviews can’t be trusted. The food wasn’t bad, but for the price I expected way more. The live dining experience wasn’t great, my steak was already a bit over cooked when I got it and since I had no other plate to cut it on I had to let it sit on the lava rock where it got even more over cooked. Service was great, but I would have preferred better food for worse service. 28 euros for my steak, if I had known the quality I wouldn’t have paid more than 10 euros.

I'm very confused by this restaurant. Steakhouse? Sourdough pizza place? Low end / high end, atmosphere? Take out for some things, but not others? Perhaps simplify a bit. The signage is not believable, not pretty, confusing. EDIT: What a lovely response from the business owner/manager. Your response makes no difference to me, but it does hurt you. You know, smart people take people's feedback and use them to better their establishment. Others rebut, use sarcasm and insult their customers. People read these reviews and responses, and don't want to dine in places where the manager/owner responds to their customers in such ways. Without a doubt it hurts their business. Is this really what you want to do?

I'm very confused by this restaurant. Steakhouse? Sourdough pizza place? Low end / high end, atmosphere? Take out for some things, but not others? Perhaps simplify a bit. The signage is not believable, not pretty, confusing. EDIT: What a lovely response from the business owner/manager. Your response makes no difference to me, but it does hurt you. You know, smart people take people's feedback and use them to better their establishment. Others rebut, use sarcasm and insult their customers. People read these reviews and responses, and don't want to dine in places where the manager/owner responds to their customers in such ways. Without a doubt it hurts their business. Is this really what you want to do?

Mit voller Begeisterung aufgrund der Bewertungen sind wir auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen, Service und Ambiente top! Jedoch pommes waren nicht durch & Manhattan-burger hat überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack getroffen... hat sehr verbrannt geschmeckt.. sehr schade

Disappointing touristic restaurant with lacking service quality and mediocre food. Only suitable if you have nowhere else to go for a dinner, but lower your expectations.

Having a supper, I finish my dish before my wife. Waiter immediately clears my plate and asks if I would like dessert... speed eating and rude... the food .... mediocre. Otherwise staff from FSB or Stasi ? Snitching about possible smoking at the table. Will not return and can't recommend. Beer was ok.

Service war ok, Essen geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber absolut überteuert. Ein mild bestelltes Gericht war trotzdem viel zu scharf, Reklamation wurde nicht akzeptiert und trotzdem berechnet. Aperol Spritz 12€ deutlich teurer als üblich. Insgesamt enttäuschend, nicht zu empfehlen.

Au vu des commentaires nous nous sommes empressés d'aller tester ce steak house .... quelle déception ! Frites surgelées, salade sans vinaigrette , viande passable et plus que légère par rapport au poids annoncé. " l'expérience " de cuisson à la pierre chaude n'a aucun intérêt. Pas mieux concernant la sélection des vins ... Quant à la patronne elle est très pressée de vous voir payer et partir afin de fermer le restaurant . La saison étant finie elle doit être impatiente de retourner en Écosse....

Got there after reading the reviews. Got looked at head to toe on arrival (we are both heavily tattooed females), and got told « you can’t come in like that you need to be dressed. I was wearing the usual holiday shirt and shorts, nothing fancy but definitely not worth the attitude, which was frankly rude. Took our business elsewhere (a fancier looking place actually) and were actually welcome there. Very disappointing
