This place has super inventive pizzas that are superb! All the ingredients are super fresh, the pizzas are somehow light, the sauces and the herbs were amazing. 10/10 would definitely go again. It's a hidden gem that doesn't have a ton of street cred yet because this place is fairly new. Only tip - I would order ahead because they make all the pizzas from scratch, you'll be waiting for a little while.
New pizza place on Telegraph near UC Berkeley Campus - three pizza styles offered classic styles and curry styles. 8-inch personal pan pizzas are pictured here. The butter chicken was my favorite. It has a creamy sauce with robust texture from the chicken and soft crust. The owner takes a lot of care in curating each flavor combination. I recommend this place if you want classic dish like pizza with a satisfyingly exotic flavor combination.
The pizza was delicious. We had a half-and-half: curry chicken masala and butter chicken. They were both great. We were able to sit at one of the two tables because it wasn’t busy, but it would probably be easier to order takeout. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Curry Pizza House is a HIDDEN GEM! I have tried all of their specialty pizzas and my absolute favorites are their butter chicken pizza and their achari gobi pizza (cauliflower) which is a great vegetarian option. If you want to try a variety of flavors, I suggest getting the large Half-and-Half and have fun with it. Their wings, chocolate cake, and mango lassi are also total knockouts. Service is consistently friendly, fast, and the inside of restaurant is always clean. Whatever the owner and the team members are doing, they are doing things to top standards. Today I got the half butter chicken and half desi bbq chicken for takeout, and per usual, the pizza rarely makes it back home in one piece. Please try them out when you’re in the area!
Curry Pizza House went above and beyond with their customer service. I was always hesitant to try Indian Pizza because ya know, pizza is Italian. My goodness was I wrong, the pizza delightful. It's an explosion of flavors. You get the traditional feel of pizza with every bite plus the spicy kick you get out of Indian food all in one. Don't even hesitate when you come across this restaurant when looking for pizza. Get it now. Enjoy
This is the best Indian vegan pizza I have ever had (and I have had pizzas in India)!! We had the vegan option (Jain sauce+vegan cheese) for the aaloo chaat pizza and finished it in one sitting. So flavourful and delicious!!! ❤️ Recommend 💯
So far, so very tasty! I've tried a few different pizzas at this point and they've all be great. The Tikka masala pizza is fantastic, love the flavor! Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for comfort food in a hurry :) Haven't been inside yet, so I can't speak to service or atmosphere. Always tasty though!
I had high expectations going into this place, and they somehow beat them!!! Den, the owner, was so sweet! The pizza was so good and I definitely will be come back :)
Nice taste and nice customer service pizza is so amazing i tried their pizza its very good taste. I suggest everyone to try it once. You must be like it.
Ordered the vegetarian pizza that the owners recommended. It was so good, just the perfect amount of spice 👌🏻
I was moving into one of the nearby dorms for summer classes at Cal and was looking for a casual place to grab dinner with my parents before they drove home. We decided to try out a large half and half of the Curry Veggie Delight and Indian Gourmet Veggie. We also got the Masala Chips as a side. Veronica cooked everything to perfection, and we all enjoyed the meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for pizza with great flavors!
Desi garlic bread sticks were delicious! We got the shahi paneer and chicken tikka half 'n half. Both halves were absolutely tasty. The crust was perfectly chewy and fluffy. Generous with toppings. Service was friendly and quick.
First time to try Indian style pizza! I made my own pizza and had masala paneer and tandoori chicken on top. The freshly made pizza has such soft, fluffy but crispy crust! It’s a bit salty but still very good! The regular pizza size is good for two people. The restaurant doesn’t sell pizza slices.
When we arrived it was pretty dead, which was great for us. Took about 20 minutes and the food was hot and beyond delicious. I think this is my favorite Margherita pizza so far.
It was my first time visiting Curry Pizza House, and I can say that I was surprised with the variety of pizza they offer, since I am vegetarian, I ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was so exquisite, the mix of flavors were so delicious I have never tried this kind of pizza before, it became my favorite pizza ever. Besides, the service is amazing, Veronica is a super friendly and charismatic person, she brightens up the atmosphere and her laughter is very contagious. I truly recommend it.
very delicious and portion is awesome for XL pepperoni
A new Indian pizza joint on Telegraph. We ordered a small Indian Groumet Veggie and mango lassi. It had a good amount of fresh veggie. Delicious! The staff was very welcoming as well. We will definitely be back!
Delicious and flavorful pizza! The curry pizza is nicely seasoned and you don't need to add anything else on top. Very generous in their topping quantity. An XL can easily feed 4 people; the slices are cut small so you can decide how much you want to eat. The service is friendly and the place is clean. The best part about it is that you can sense that the pizza is made with love and attention to detail. That's rare. I hope they don't change anything!

Pretty neat Indian pizza place! Prices were alright but it was really, really good food. We got a butter chicken and chili paneer split pizza and enjoyed it. Plus, they had great customer service :)
the place is very clean and organized. the service is wonderful. the pizza is delicious and comes very hot. the staff are very attentive. I loved this place!
Amazing! They were very nice and accommodating and made one without cheese for me. Still deliciously good , I loved the flavor and homemade ingredients definitely coming back. 🍕
Incredibly tasty. Small pizza was enough for two to share for a late lunch. Lassi was perfection. Will definitely return!
Food was good but definitely on the pricey side but it worked as 2 meals for me which made up the difference. Loved the favors offered. Best deal for dollar per square in of pizza is the Medium (.17) and XL (.15). I also got lemon peper wings which were not bad. You could definitely go to get a pizza for a party/get together or to get a couple meals for yourself.
Got Hawaiian pizza for a friend who’s into that sort of thing. He said it was best he’s ever had. Also palak paneer pizza - very good but a touch spicy. The desi garlic sticks good too. They also have great conventional pizza including a kids menu. Kiddos ate the cheese pizza just fine. Am looking forward to trying more of their menu. It’s mostly carryout with maybe a table or two. Located on Telegraph near UC campus.
Just went for the first time today and I’m wondering why this place didn’t have a line running out of the front of the building!! Denny was super helpful and very kind and welcoming, and the pizza was just incredible. The dough was amazing and the butter chicken had an incredible flavor!! Would recommend to absolute anyone absolutely any time even if you just want a more traditional pizza—it’s the best pizza in Berkeley!!
Had an amazing experience at Curry Pizza House in Berkeley! The concept of combining authentic Indian flavors with classic pizza is absolutely brilliant. Every bite was packed with flavor the spices were perfectly balanced and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The Butter Chicken Pizza and Tandoori Chicken Pizza were standouts, with a delicious fusion taste that you can’t find at regular pizza places. The crust was perfectly baked, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The staff was also very friendly and the service was quick. If you love both Indian food and pizza, this place is a must-try. Definitely one of the most unique and tasty pizza spots in Berkeley. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!
Tried Curry Pizza House in Berkeley recently and it was such a great surprise! The fusion of Indian spices with pizza works incredibly well here. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the flavors are bold but perfectly balanced. What I liked most was how unique the menu is it’s not your typical pizza spot. The toppings are creative and full of authentic Indian flavor, which makes the whole experience different from any other pizza place in town. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere felt relaxed and friendly. If you’re in Berkeley and want to try something different from the usual pizza, this place is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu!

Excellent pizza, genuinely delicious. It was Sunday when we went, so they were short staffed and we had to wait a while but it was worth it. We got two small pizzas and ate half each, so one small between two older human adults would have been plenty. Seating is restricted to two tall-top tables in the window, so not really a dining-out option, but I'd definitely go again.
I recently tried a unique pizza spot in Berkeley. Their fusion of traditional pizza with Indian flavors, like the Tandoori Chicken Pizza, was a delightful surprise. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were flavorful. However, the wait time during peak hours was longer than expected, and seating was limited. Despite these minor inconveniences, the innovative menu made it worth the visit
I love Fusion cuisine and this pizza lived up to my expectations. I ordered one with Paneer and was full of flavor and unique spices. The location is challenging to find parking. They also sell by slices which is great for one person. My only complaint is customer service, they don’t greet you or acknowledge you. It takes them a long time to take your order, so just use their tablet to order.
Pizza's pretty solid! Paneer on pizza is absolutely amazing! Old pic but this is generally what I always get and I've enjoyed it!
Solid pizza with fresh flavorful toppings and generous portions. The owner was very meticulous and passionate about the quality of his restaurant :) Only criticism is that we requested no cilantro on our order, but it was included anyways.

I ordered delivery, so I'm not going to hold too much against them. That being said, I was pretty disappointed. The pizza itself was okay, toppings were a little sparse, and I believe it was supposed to come with a sauce of it's own, but I just got more ranch, which imo is not exactly the right sauce for an Indian food pizza. The salad was old and limp, and the ingredients clearly prepackaged, absolutely not worth it. I tried their wings as well. Very small and mushy, I'm guessing bulk frozen, flavor was good though. All in all, not bad, but not impressive, and they have gotta do something about those wings.
The pizza itself is good. It’s not bad pizza. However I got the butter chicken and the pizza just seemed to be a typical chicken pizza I could get at many places. I didn’t taste any of the “butter chicken” dish flavors. My biggest issue is that it’s just not worth the price. I was charged an extra $3.50 by ordering on Snackpass plus taxes. It’s unfortunate that they raise prices on an app that’s used almost exclusively by students. I spent $23.69 on their smallest pizza option, which is pretty steep for a meal for one person. If you order in the restaurant, it’s $18 +tax, which is still a little high in my opinion. I wish they had a personal pizza size option. Because the price for their smallest 10in size is just not worth it for one person. Overall, i likely won’t be returning.
I love pizza and love to try new places all the time. I heard great things about this place and have meant to order from here awhile back. We finally had the chance to order and decided to get an extra large half combo and half curry chicken masala pizza. We also ordered a thing of garlic bread sticks. I don't know if we ordered on busy bad day, new cook, etc.. but there was a culmination of just bads all around. The first bad was the delivery service through Door Dash was more like Door Dwadle... The delivery took close to an hour to arrive, Even the thermal insulated bag the guy used could not keep the heat in the poor pizza. So by the time it got to our place the pizza was less than lukewarm.. Road kill would have been warmer... The second bad was when we started to eat. The pizza was just close to inedible because it was so salty and dry. The pizza dough was tougher than normal pizza dough with such denseness that it was just a chore to chew through. I think I had better satisfaction chewing on Big League Chew bubble gum that was past it's Best By date. There was something else about the taste of the pizza, some kind of underlying bitterness in the taste... Not too sure if it was like a burnt bitter but it was not very pleasant. Don't get me wrong, there were some positives in this whole ordeal. The Curry chicken masala toppings were good, when I reheated the pizza, the chicken was passable and had good flavor. The garlic bread stick had good garlicky butter taste too. It's just too bad that the saltiness and the dry dense dough made plus that weird bitterness added to be too much to give this pizza restaurant higher marks. I'll probably try it another time and see if this was a fluke, but for now, it's a No Go for me.

Used to enjoy going to this place - owner was always lovely in the store. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to be as good anymore. They did a text blast promoting their Cal combo late at night. I went to the store with a couple of friends who wanted to try the pizza, they claimed the promotion didn’t exist. I then called their phone number - also claimed that the promotion didn’t exist. Weird. They’ve been sending me these for months.
