Southside Station

I came across a reel on Instagram and today when we visited the Hall of Science I had to go to Southside Station. They have some of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was crispy, big and tasty, the slaw was perfectly tangy and and the sauce hit the spot. Perfectly balanced flavors in a big delicious sandwich. In addition, we tried the garlic noodles and the curly fries whichwere really good. Portions are good. I recommend this hidden gem. I'm definitely going back for the sandwich and will try the other items on the menu.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I went with a friend, and we ordered the shared meal with the Thai chicken wings, garlic noodles, brussel sprouts, rice, and spicy basil pork. Everything was very well seasoned and served hot and fresh. I also ordered the Thai Palmer, which was surprisingly yummy.I went back tonight with another friend, and everything was just as delicious. He got the Thai chicken sandwich and said it was better than Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A.

The fried chicken sandwich is sooo good, crispy on the outside, juicy/tender on the inside with very tasty Thai seasoning/flavor. Highly recommend. Probably not good for the cholesterol or heart but, that’s the only complaint!

Everything about this spot was good. 10/10. Great customer service. Very good portions of food for a reasonable price. Nice drink options. Good parking if you’re lucky. Def check this spot out.

Excellent food with excellent portions. Got the fried chicken sandwich combo + fried chicken thighs with garlic noodles. They gave 3 large chicken thighs which was very generous. Hope to come back. The only thing was that the ordering window is oddly placed so that you have to duck to order or else the staff inside can’t hear you properly.

This little shop opened right before I graduated and I always stop by every time I'm in town. Best fried chicken sandwich ever; quality is always consistent. Juicy, well-seasoned fried chicken with satisfying crunch, paired with papaya salad on a brioche bun. Lychee iced tea is made with fresh lychee. Curly fries are well seasoned and perfectly fried. There is a wait as everything is made fresh, but it's worth it. I've recommended to all my friends.

Best fried chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Stumbled upon this little family-run place by accident. Just looked good to me, and then I saw it had been rated the best chicken sandwich in the Bay Area. So that's what I got, it was out of this world. And I am a pretty harsh critic. The chicken breast was juicy and the coating was super crispy. They also make the buns in house, which I find pretty amazing and unusual, but makes a huge difference. The bun is lightly toasted. And it's got this tangy spicy sauce and crunchy slaw, and also quite a sizable portion. I will definitely go back to try the garlic noodles, which also sounded great. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious fried chicken sandwich with sautéed brussels sprouts! 10/10 recommend the combo! Not really a fan of the bubble tea there but you won’t disappoint with the sandwich.

One of the better fried chicken sandwiches I’ve tried. Juicy, good flavor, sizable portion. Just a tad bit soggy but that’s expected given I had a deliver order. Chicken could have used a bit more seasoning but still had solid flavor. Depending on your preference, you might want it more crispy, but I found it satisfying. Definitely will go back when I’m craving a fried chicken sandwich. Thai fried chicken wings are also incredible. Best chicken spot around town.

Honestly the best fried chicken in the bay area. This place is under rated even with a 4.5! The Asian flare in the flavor is also unbeatable . The best part is getting a takeout combo and eat it at a park on a nice day

Hands down the BEST chicken sandwich in B-town. Crispy, juicy and full of wonderful Thai flavors and seasoning. The brioche bread is soft and complements the chicken very well. The chicken satay taco's are very unique and also very tasty. Stop reading and just go try it! You won't be disappointed.

I found out about this place in 2020 and it remains my favorite fried chicken sandwich and curly fries in the Bay area! I also love that they are family owned, and people of color. every single time I’ve gotten food from there it has been top-notch along with the friendly service. They even collaborate within the community and sometimes offer deals for free food, which myself and a friend have been able to take advantage of! I love this place and I’ll never stop going :)

The hype is real. The chicken sandwich is like a fried chicken bhan mi with veggies. It's the crispiest sandwich with an extremely satisfying bite. Don't sleep on the Brussels, they're like pad Thai flavor brussel sprouts, so good. Sangria is also a banger. Hubby said it's the first time in a long time where everything was excellent. Satay tacos were packed with veggies and a delicious peanut sauce. Just know when you come you'll wait for your food. I think we waited around 25 minutes, but in our opinion, it was well worth it. If you have kids, bring them a snack while you wait. Great price point for a nice spread of items that were enjoyable for adults and kiddos alike. We will absolutely be back and will be telling our friends all about Southside Station!

Stellar Chicken Sandwich. House made brioche buns were buttery and soft, chicken was crispy, and the asian-style slaw was the cherry on top. The Garlic Noodles are a must try! The flavor is perfect- not too salty or overpowering, but fresh and fragrant. Garlic was clearly minced right before the noodles were made. It was my first time at recommendation from a friend, and the owner was super kind. He gave me a free sandwich on my way out! Atmosphere is super cute as well. Highly recommend.

I want to try everything but I can't resist crispy fried chicken thighs (or sliders) and garlic noodles. Last time, I got to try the dusty tofu and chicken satay tacos. Yum! And I'm not a fan of tofu lol.
