I love the BBQ Chicken! I usually get the plate which comes with 2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of Mac Salad. Chicken is juicy, perfectly marinaded and cooked. Typically, Hawaiian Macaroni Salad upsets my stomach… but not here! It’s made fresh (secret recipe so I’m told) and it’s so tasty! The family that owns and operates the restaurant is so efficient and they treat their regulars like royalty. I’m a lifelong customer and you should be too! Ps. Everyone RAVES about their Chicken Katsu. I like it a lot but prefer curry with my Katsu, so it’s not my go to.

I moved away from Berkeley many years ago, but I still really really miss the food at this Hawaiian BBQ joint. Better than what I could find in Honolulu... no exaggeration.

Our visit to this Hawaiian restaurant was a fantastic experience! The service was impeccable; the staff was friendly and eager to make our dining experience special. We enjoyed the spam musubi as an appetizer, followed by the BBQ ribs and grilled mahi-mahi. Every dish was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was very inviting, with a beautiful Hawaiian-inspired design and tropical plants. The soft lighting and relaxed atmosphere made for a perfect evening. If you want delicious food and a laid-back, island-style atmosphere, this place is a must!

Dining at this Hawaiian restaurant was a delight. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was a perfect blend of traditional and innovative – the ahi tuna poke was my favorite. The ambiance had a relaxing and beachy feel, with palm trees and ocean-themed decor. It’s the kind of place where you can really unwind and enjoy great food.

Service and atmosphere is horrible... The people who work here are mean and were fighting with each other bc I requested if they can separate spicy chicken separately and the male cook was not happy about it. I understood their language and it was very uncomfortable to sit there and wait for food. The place is really dirty and the food is horrible. Not sure how they have 4.5 stars. I won't be coming here again.

And charges lots of tax my mean was 13$ and it was 16$ (3$ Tax) and the man cashier man either doesn’t understand English too well or can’t really hear but anyways I rate this a 10/10 for the food but 0/10 since I got this RAW MOFO MEAT.

Shrimp burger combo for 9 bucks + tax + tip. More like shrimp sandwich with a single butterfly shrimp lettuce and a slice of tomato. Fries were okay for frozen. Side of curry sauce was flavorful but too runny. Atmosphere is old and grungy feeling. Might as well have a fresh coat of dust! Service…you did get your food. In reality zero stars, first time customer and last time customer. Tip: Add a burger patty and you can call it a burger.

Omg, don't order the short ribs I literally couldn't chew it enough to want to swallow. It was way to tough. Hope this saves you $18.

Can’t follow simple instructions. Could’ve had an allergic reaction. Order was: cheeseburger. No onions (note said: no sauce. No constant with onions). I received a plain burger. No cheese. One piece a lettuce. And a fat piece of onion in the middle of my burger
