The Baked Lobster Roll was amazing. We had three specialty rolls and three types of sushi and the garlic edamame. No complaints. Service was quick and friendly and everything came out as it was ready so it was all fresh! The yellowtail with the ginger/ponzu was also magical. Would absolutely return!
Possibly the best sushi I have EVER had. Chef is very talented and full of surprises.
We eat here almost every week. Service is great. Get the all in roll and the red dragon roll. The new snack out is fun, wonton chips served with spicy tuna. The sashimi deluxe is also a good deal The happy hour cold sake + beer pitcher for about 25. The restaurant is narrow so anymore than 6 people can be tough. They take but do not require reservations. Outside Friday night you might not need one.
This has to be the best sushi spot I’ve tried in the area! So impressed by the selection (Lemon Roll was the favorite!) and felt really elevated at a decent price. We also happened to pop in during happy hour and surprised by how many options there were! Staff and atmosphere was really nice too. Going to be coming back very often :)
Amazing sushi prepared fresh on site. Extremely fresh fish. Great service and easy parking. Helpful friendly staff. Very fair prices. Great place. This is the best sushi place in LA in my opinion. Lunch specials are really good too, they have teriyaki chicken with sides and great ice tea.
Our first time coming here was Valentine’s Day. Service was very attentive and gave great suggestions. Each dish was delicious and came out in a nicely paced but timely manner. Highly recommend the Monster and Double Double special rolls. Thank you for a great time!
I have been going to this restaurant for years. The sushi is always great. The prices are too. The staff is very well trained and professional. My favorite roll is the sun shine roll and next up is the whatever you like with salmon on top. Whenever I feel like have a filling meal, I always opt for the chicken teriyaki bowl which is a wonderful bargain. I hope it stays $10 forever.
Oops is not the super high end super fresh Omakase style place. But it is a sure fired good sushi restaurant. This is a very extensive menu... 30 appetizer options! Sushi is fine here, but the crowd pleasers are the rolls. Lots of fun combinations and sauces to go with the standard LA sushi spot favorites. Happy hour is worthwhile, and Saturday runs from Noon to 6...and all day Sunday. Indoor and outdoor seating. Prices were very reasonable. Service was good. Overall no complaints.
The food was AMAZING! Not only was the staff friendly and inviting, but the atmosphere is quite and peaceful. They have a huge selection of appetizers, salads, bowls and sushi. They were very accommodating to the changes I asked for on my food and were quick to bring the food out. Everything taste so good that you will keep ordering more and be so full by the time you leave.
Unexpected gem. The lemon roll was crazy fresh and the seared albacore sushi was the highlight (not pictured because we gobbled it instantly). Fish quality was good and nigiri sushi was not skimpy/over-riced. Would note that, while there was actually easy parking, there's not a lot of seating outside if that matters to you. That said, we had no issue getting an outside table with swift service on a Thursday night. They also still had happy hour running from 6-7pm.
Fresh and delicious sushi, attentive and friendly staff, and an enjoyable atmosphere—light music (not too loud), cute decorations, a classic sushi bar. Our favorite sushi place in LA. The restaurant name is a little goofy, but don't let it fool you, this place is great! They have lots of good rolls (double double and 310 shout out!), but I often order the nigiri set, which they put together with care and detail. They have a large sake menu. Prices are reasonable and an excellent value given the high quality. So glad we found this place and I hope they never change!
This is, by far, the Best Sushi Bar on the Westside with Premium Quality Sushi at affordable prices. Daily Happy Hour Specials which end at 7pm. Sunday is All Day Happy Hour Menu! "D" the manager/owner is amazing and the Sushi Chef's are incredibly skilled! The Chef's are young, extremely creative and they even have great personalities! Bonus! Spend $50, get $5 off Oops Card. This pic was a special birthday roll made just for me with edible garnish and on the house! 😘 They always make me feel special everytime I come! Ps. Been eating sushi for over 30 years! Hope this helps! Tell them Tina T sent you! Enjoy! 🍣🍤🍣
Fresh sushi, fast service, and great customer service. The Tic Tac Toe & Big Buddha were soooo yummy
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was served very quickly, and the presentation was truly elegant. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. I came with a family friends visiting from Thailand, and we tried every dish on the table each one was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place for its warm atmosphere and excellent service. A truly perfect dining experience! Thank you Oops Sushi see you next time...
Very good and fresh sushi. The happy hour is nice and it was packed! Friendly staff and fast service. I will be back.
Strange name but delicious sushi. We stopped in yesterday for an unplanned Sunday dinner and we were both really impressed with Oops! It’s situated in the corner of a small strip mall in a quiet part of Sawtelle. Parking in the parking lot can be a bit tricky because the spaces are small and close together and it was completely full when we arrived for a 6 PM dinner but we were able to find neighborhood parking on the block next to the strip mall. We were seated right when we arrived and had a great dinner at the sushi bar. I was really impressed with all of the options on the menu and the pricing is very fair compared to other sushi spots close by. As always, we got a mix of items and shared everything. We started off with the Miso Soup, which is something I order all the time, next came the Softshell Crab, which was terrific. It wasn’t over fried and still had the great soft shell flavors and I would highly recommend ordering it. Next, we shared the Yellowtail Sampler, and it was a perfect amount with four pieces of yellowtail nigiri. Finally, we split three rolls: the Barrington, OMG, and Oops (I Did it Again). All three were really delicious, but our favorite was the OMG roll. It was packed with different fish, basically a new take on the Rainbow Roll. Everything was prepared with a lot of love and came out very quickly, so it’s the sort of place that you can dash in and out or stay a while with friends, family, or a date. It’s fairly small on the inside, but in a cozy way. Definitely will be back in the near future to try more items and would recommend to anyone else who is a sushi fan to do the same.
Oops is one of my favorite sushi spots on the west side. They have the best happy hour deals, my favorite roll (the hot night) is only $12 during HH! & they have happy hour prices all day Sunday! The spicy tuna bites are amazing & the shisito peppers are delicious. Highly recommend coming here!
Small location and very packed, but for good reason. The service was great and so was the food. We sat at the bar and interacted with the sushi chef who was very pleasant. The food was prepared quickly and exactly how we ordered. They had unique rolls which I had never had before. The prices we also reasonable.
Wow simply amazing!! My boyfriend and I came here for the first time and we were very satisfied. Out of all the places we've tried this is by far the best in town. The "lemon" roll was my favorite but all of the rolls were so yummy and fresh. The chef is very nice and very professional. Love the atmosphere 10/10 🍣
This is a very hard post for me to make. I want to keep this place a secret but it really is to good to not share! I have been going here for over two years now and this is my favorite sushi restaurant in all of LA. The fish is so fresh the sauce is lite and the atmosphere (in my opinion) is perfect. I highly suggest this place! The lemon roll is where it’s at.
Delicious sushi with a good variety - quick and friendly service but did not feel rushed. We arrived on a weekday, 30 minutes after opening and they were only seating reservations. Luckily they always have 5 seats at the bar available for walkins.
This place never dissapoint me. Everything is delicious.
Amazing food best tempura I had and I been to many sushi place. You must come here and try it. Second visit and Sunday happy hour all day food and drinks.
Had an excellent happy hour + dinner here with a good friend. We had: -gyoza (fried, ok / medium) -mixed tempura (excellent) -toro sashimi (fire) -toro nigiri sampler (fire) -salmon nigiri (fire) -Sapporo pitcher + craft sake (lovely) All in all a kickass meal with wonderful value. Would absolutely recommend for happy hour (5-7pm Monday-Friday).
I spent November 2023 here in LA on business and have to raise a toast to the fine people here at Oops! The entire menu (for me: sushi, beef teriyaki and miso cheesecake were/are amazing.) Can't wait to visit you again!
The sushi is incredible! The Sapporo on draft is perfect! The sushi chefs are artisans and the overall vib is very pleasant. The place is immaculate and highly recommended.
Delicious fresh sushi! Went here for lunch and shared a rainbow roll, tic tac toe, and summer roll. All three were fantastic. The tic tac toe roll (pictured) was a little heavy for lunch, but that's on me for ordering a baked roll. Flavor was excellent in all three rolls. The miso soup was good as well.

I will always love this neighborhood sushi spot. The fish is excellent quality, the service is always great, and it’s just as good when you order takeout. I have a severe dairy allergy and they’ve always been great with my allergy. Highly recommend the Barrington and Gateway rolls!
Sat at the bar and Chef took my order. The toro, sake harasu, uni Hokkaido, and sea bream sushi were all delicious. No need for soy or more wasabi, fresh, seasoned perfectly.
An delicious dining adventure every time! An authentic sushi bar feel with an innovative, creative, and delicious menu! Prices are fair but for the quality I'd happily pay more, definitely top 5 in LA.
Don’t just a book by its cover. Loved it! So cute inside and the service was great. The cooks COOKED! Food was exquisite! Definitely recommend. #Follow us @Thegirlscs

Food is solid, lots of selection and every time I eat here is good quality. Easy abundant parking at the shopping plaza. It was my first time getting take out though and service was meh. One person was responsible for serving, food running, seating and take out and she was not a happy camper. I feel her pain but also smiling doesn’t hurt anyone. We got 3 packets of soy sauce and a teeny tiny container of wasabi for 4 dishes, wasn’t enough.

❌❌❌Me and my family been residents in this community for about 5yrs now and my daughter attends school right across the street from this place we’ve been to oops about 3-4 times every time we spend well over a hundred dollars yes the food is great but it’s a hole in the wall place and to be treated in the manner we was is unacceptable and sad to say this place is not for our people I will NEVER!!! spend another dollar here.
