No reservations can be made. Public parking and street parking are available. Wait time was less than half an hour on a beautiful Saturday night. Amazing prefixed menu. Lovely ambiance and knowledgeable staff. Each course was served in perfect timing. Fish was fresh and paired perfectly with white wine. Left feeling full and satisfied. Great little spot in Beverly Hills.

First time trying SUGARFISH as recommended by a colleague and it was utterly delicious. Don’t expect a traditional purist sushi omakase joint, instead quite the opposite. Sushi and rolls were BIG on flavour and I especially like the seasoned rice and the use of ginger and pickles in the dishes. Fish is also extremely fresh served along nice ice cold beers. Atmosphere of restaurant is very relaxed and service team was great.

One of my favourite spots to grab sushi to go as well as grab a quick meal! The fish is always fresh and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. Staff is also always extremely friendly here! It is a popular spot so prepared to wait. However you check in online and the queue is managed digitally so you can always walk around Beverly Hills while you wait.

If I could eat here everyday I would. I wish we had one in the Bay Area or Vegas! We eat here every chance we get. This trip we went twice for lunch. Service is always good. Dustin our server both times foe this trip is awesome! I get the TRUST ME and add other things or just pick all the things I want. Large scallops are my favorite. I can eat 6 orders in one sitting. I love the crab hand rolls too. Everything is good. The iced green tea is good and they give refills. Hands down the best bang for your buck. Quality of sushi for what you pay is just too good. I love SUGARFISH so much! 😋😝👌🏼💯

Food is really very good. I love the nigiri and the specials are always a delight. Service can be perfect or clumsy and inattentive, depending on the server. Having plates banged down in front of me with a vague mumble of what's on them is not very pleasant. The atmosphere at the BH one is non-existent, and as in several Sugarfish restaurants the acoustics are really mediocre, even when it's nearly empty. It's something a few acoustic panels would solve and that would certainly enhance the experience. But the fish is spectacular so I will keep going back.

Good quality sushi at exceptionally fair prices. The service was a bit slow and inattentive at times, but generally friendly. Vibe is hip but too dimly lit for my taste. Also, I hate that Sugarfish doesn't serve miso soup!

We enjoyed a quick stop at Sugarfish in Beverly Hills. Their Hamachi, Scallops and shrimp were particularly fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be back in the future.

I got the Don't Think Just Eat and there were about 7 different types of nigiris (2 pieces each) a sashimi plate and two 6 inch hand rolls. Everything was pretty fresh and flavorful. The service was just alright though, kind of impersonal.

Definitely a top LA sushi spot. All it takes is one bite to understand why this melt in your mouth sushi is called “sugarfish.” Small but delicious selection, we tried the “Nozawa Trust Me” Menu and loved it. Service was a bit slow but staff was friendly. No reservations, walk in and first come first serve. Probably recommend more for lunch than dinner.

Visited from London, and during our stay in Beverly Hills we tried many local restaurants most of which were fantastic. Unfortunately, Sugarfish was a major disappointment in both food quality and service. My fiancée and I ordered Sake, which never arrived, even after we reminded the server 15 minutes later. There were long gaps between dishes, and each time something was brought to the table, the server would place it down abruptly and walk away without a word. When it came time to pay, I had to ask twice for the bill, and after I paid, the staff member simply said “no signature required,” placed my card on the table, and walked off no thank you, no acknowledgment, nothing. When I mentioned my concerns, she seemed surprised but didn’t offer even a basic apology, which is disappointing, especially in hospitality. They also advertise a “no tipping” policy, yet still add a 16% fee to the bill, which is essentially a service charge despite the lack of service. Overall, it was a poor experience in terms of both food and service. It’s a shame, because the atmosphere is nice, but décor alone doesn’t make a great restaurant, good food and respectful service do.

Friends recommended this place, but the experience was awful. We ordered takeout. Then I changed my mind and asked if we could eat inside (there were plenty of empty tables). Brandon answered unfriendly “No, you’re not allowed to eat inside if you ordered takeout.” I replied, “Okay” and just went outside and sat on a waiting bench. Another staff member brought out our order. I asked if we could eat outside, and he very kindly said yes, of course, and even turned on the heater for us. While we were finishing our food, Brandon came out, angrily told us we weren’t allowed to eat outside as well, questioned who gave permission, and then returned after scolding the server just to coldly repeat the same thing. A couple sitting nearby commented on how rude and angry he was. Completely absurd behavior. It was our first visit, and Brandon single-handedly ruined the experience. We won’t be back.
