Beautiful restaurant...good food...THE best wings...

Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's all about great service and way better than expected food. I just wanted a decent burger with a beer. I had a burger cooked EXACTLY medium well and the fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. I'm also a fan of 'build your own burger' and the sautéed mushrooms and onions were perfection! Again, the service was EXCELLENT! I was greeted by the bartender the moment I walked in and offered a variety of seating option by wait staff who were smiling and attentive. I will be back with friends :)

Gotta share!! Most amazing wings, myself never beer away from my wing favorites. I tried the bomb of wing sauces. Old union sauce. Mixture of a mild, with horseradish. Gives it that back kick. I ordered a take out on top!!! Old Union does it right!!!!

One of my favorite places in this area for chicken wings. I usually order hot garlic or Singapore chili. The hot is one of the only places around that actually has some spice to them. Plenty of seating inside and out. The servers always have a friendly attitude.

Best wings in the Binghamton area. Super nice people and good service. It's too bad they are not allowing anyone to dine in because it's a good atmosphere. The bar is nice with TVs and good bartenders and the dining area is quiet if you're looking to sit with someone for a date or good conversation. I tell everyone who likes wings this is the only place to get wings around here.

Best wings anywhere. While we were there today a Celtic bagpipes and drum band in killts came in and played a few songs. I'm guessing it was for St. Patrick's day. Monday night is their wing night special every week.

My wife and I have been going here for years and I can honestly say that this is one of our favorite restaurants! If you like chicken wings, look no further because they have the best that I have ever had! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back soon!

Love the bartenders and staff, good place to unwind after my own hospitality shift. It can be a little rowdy and loud, but the crowd tends to be locals and recurring patrons - no drama, fights, or arguments - just friends having a good time 😀 Just wish they (the bar at least) were open later on Friday and Saturday nights 😕 Being service industry myself, I don't often get to make it prior to last call/closing 😔 If you work a regular 9-5, though, this is a great regular spot for you to grab drinks at the bar or grab a table with friends/coworkers and dine in. The food I've tried here has been good, shrimp tacos are my favorite (ask them to make it po-boy style) - totally worth it,but the regular way they make it is great too ☺️

Came here with my Wife for chicken wings, as expected they were amazing. The pierogi appetizer was preeeeeeeetty disappointing. Like half a box of Mama T’s mini frozen pierogis for $8 disappointing if you get my drift. Literally every other thing was out of this world though. Stopped at the Union around 9:30 on a Thursday evening for a late dinner after the gym. The haddock sandwich was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The bartenders are excellent. I have only been there twice now, so not many would recognize me, but being the stranger, I still felt welcome. I was even given a warm greeting as I left. Will be sure to return again.

A very good spot for beer and wings. Arguably the best chicken wings in the area, with a good variety of sauces. The wings are large, and the skin is very crispy. The crispy coating makes the sauce cling onto the wing, it’s the perfect sauce coverage. The boneless wings are also very good, an order is one pound. They have a full bar and wide variety of domestic, imported, and craft beer at a reasonable price. There is a lot of space inside, and they were able to easily accommodate a 30 person party we brought in recently. The servers are efficient and friendly. Writing this makes me want to stop by for some wings!

Old Union has probably the best wings in the Binghamton area and that’s really saying something. The rest of the food is also great, typical pub fare. Definitely a local spot. The service is pretty slow. It’s usually very very loud in here, either with the music blasting or live bad… if you’re into that. However, the wings never disappoint here.

We showed up as a party of 10 after graduation a little later in the evening, they were busy, but they quickly made a place for us to sit and were incredibly accommodating. Our server was attentive and friendly, even though she was training a new server (who was also great!). We ordered apps and entrees, as well as drinks. You would think that in a group like that with all the different orders something would be not as good, but The Old Union knocked it out of the park! (My burger was the BEST!) This place is a gem, don’t hesitate. Every one of us left incredibly satisfied, and it was an opportunity to extend some great family memories post graduation! Thank you, The Old Union staff! P.S. Great live music, too, and not too loud at all in the dining area!

This is a great place to go if you are into chicken wings. I've tried most of the flavors over the years and the honey sriracha are my favorite. Their hottest wings are also really delicious, I also tend to order the fries which are pretty good too. Highly recommended if you are looking for something spicy.

My first time here. My office just moved in a few blocks away so it was convenient for an evening of wings and beer with the sales folks. They are going to get a lot of our business. Excellent service, amazing wings. I didn't try them all, but will eventually. This is such a classic old style restaurant. I'll definitely be having lunches and occasionally dinner there.

ABSOLUTELY Amazing place. We had lunch with Wings, Cajun Dry Rub, and Cheddar Bacon Ranch Union Fries. The wings are incredible and the fries were great too. Ashley and Mandy were our Servers/Bartenders and they both are So Awesome. We went here on a recommendation for m a friend and we're literally blown away how good the Old Union Hotel is. Cannot wait to make a trip back to Binghamton just to go there and eat.

Really great food. Handicapped access was fantastic. We do eat out quite a bit and in comparison to other, more expensive and "upscale" places, the Union Hotel is superb. This food is not typical bar or diner fare, this is really good food.

Came down from Syracuse to try the wings ... AWESOME!!! Great flavor and not over saturated wirh sauce. Worth the trip. Some of the best wings we've had outside of Buffalo, NY. Will stop in next time we visit family in the area

I’ve been here a couple time over the last few weeks. The wings are just so good! It has been a great experience every time I come. One visit I had the Jensen extra hot wings, the waitress wished me luck lol so I started getting nervous. They were fine, hot, but I like hot so they were great. I had them with fries and I ordered ranch to dip my fries, they were good. The next time I went, I had the sriracha honey wings. I anticipated a little heat with the sriracha, but it was mostly honey and two of the five wings were ice cold. I had a little side salad with it this time. Their side salad is good it has olives, onions, and cheese along with lettuce and tomato, they’ll take out anything you don’t want included. My plan for future visits is to try either the bbq which I heard was great, or the smoked creamy bbq a guy at the other table was raving about. Hopefully I can get a little closer to a kick in the other sauces, if not, it’s back to Jensens lol.

This place is awesome! Great atmosphere, decent prices and outstanding food. The shrimp po-boy tastes exactly like they do in Louisiana. The chicken wings are definitely in my top 3! But when the staff/owner warns you about the heat on their hot wings, pay attention. They are HOT! and they taste really good too! Definitely worth the Burn!

It’s true what they say about this place, they have some really, really good wings. I visited Binghamton for a work trip (From Miami) and decided to stop at 11:30 for a breakfast of champions. Got the wings mild, ranch dressing and Sam Adams. Service was great. This bar has a nice touch and decorated with pictures from the past. One of the locals told me this place is “spooky” (paranormal activity?). All locals were here when I showed up. Definitely recommend. Will be back

Outdoor seating with a band, great company, delicious food! Who could ask for anything more on a Friday night after a long week. Seating was comfortable and service was friendly and attentive. I chose the pulled pork tacos and they were delicious! Others enjoyed various selections of wings. Pretzel bites and cheesy fries appetizers had us almost full before the meal came. Again, great food, great service! Check them out!

I have not been in The Union for many years. Since I am a female, I wanted to see how I would be treated by employees if I stopped in alone. I wore a cotton dress, simple one shoulder. The bartendress was very nice… smiling back and really liked her job and the customers around her. I had my choice of seats. I noticed another lady near a podium all smiles too, as I asked for more celery. The Union was so good to me and so were the ladies, including a 3rd lady who brought me my check, upon request. The Union Hotel gets a 5 plus in employees assisting me so courteous… usually restaurants ignore a single lady! Not here… the girls and male cooks were so nice! Kudos to the Owner for hiring this team of hard and courteous workers!

The food and staff were delightful! We had a group of 9 come in, and we all got chicken wings. The sauces were fantastic! Our mistake was coming on a Saturday night without a reservation, as we had to wait for an hour to get seated, and another hour for our food.

Went to the old union for dinner last night (05-13-24) for mother's day. It was very busy but there are always enough tables even when it's busy. Normally the food is always great and the price is good for what you get. Service is generally good. My only complaint is that my burger was overcooked and I asked for it to be medium rare( slightly pink). My stepdaughters speedies were also overcooked and dry, so she really didn't eat much of it. I ordered a captain and coke but received a jack and coke instead. These are minor issues, but these small details make the difference between a 4 star review and a 5 star review. The chicken wings have always been great there and were great according to my mother and girlfriend. All around, we had fun and it was a good dinner. Some small details could be improved with better "attention to detail". It was very busy and it seemed as if the waitresses were a bit overwhelmed which can happen. Either way, I would recommend others to go there for food and drinks. It's a good place to go and always a good atmosphere. Patio was closed which was a bummer for those who vape or smoke.

I got the chicken speedie sub it was amazing although it came toasted and I did not ask for that option. I feel like they should ask before doing that as some people such as myself did not like that option. Food took forever to come out and it was very busy. Been here several times now - great service and good food! The starters can be a little hit or miss depending what you get. We usually get wings when we come in and they have always been spot on. Carolina Gold is a must try! When it’s really busy the noise levels can be a bit much as it’s a small space and tables are close together. You have to almost borderline yell to have a conversation. If you go during slower times tho it’s a vibe. We came here the other day with friends that were from out of town and they LOVED it.

The wings and pot stickers were good, but we were all underwhelmed with the roast beef dip sandwiches. The buns had no substance, and fell apart when you picked it up. The dip was quite good, but couldn't get a good amount because the bun just kept disintegrating. All 4 of us felt the same.

Stopped in for wings, midday. The wings were huge! I ordered 10 but could only eat 5. I had the house sauce which was delicious, and the wings were nice and crispy. The fries were also plentiful and crispy. This place has received a major overhaul from the dive bar it used to be. The interior was clean, outdoor patio was large. I do wish they'd had some shade on the patio.

Atmosphere is good but the music was a bit loud in the dining room. I found my beer to be overpriced, as well. $5.72 for a draft Yuengling seemed a bit excessive for a local bar on a Wednesday night.

Ate there on Thursday with friend ate the fried pierogies and chicken rice bowl. the pierogies were good and sauce was good but need to order more sauce to dip into, they were good but nothing to write home about, I like the flavor of the sauce of the chicken rice bowl ( nice teriyaki flavor kick in it but maybe for 13.00 add an egg or something to elevate the profile of the dish over all pleased with the meal I had ( I’ve ordered the wings before than they are BOMB)

This place was recommended to me while traveling in the area. All around a 4 star experience. We got right in as a party of 3 thankfully because it looked busy from the outside. Initially our server was attentive but it soon faded, it wasn’t busy at all. It took a lot of time to get the check. The burger we ordered was really dry and the bun was cold. The taste of it was ok, not the best I’ve ever had like some of the reviews say. The shrimp tacos were- very unappealing and nothing to write home about. The wings were excellent though, that is what is getting most of these 4 stars.

Drinks were good, and service was great but the wings were poor in our opinion. Tried a few different kinds, the garlic parm was prolly the worst i have ever had, the garlic was still raw and jusg poured shaker Parmesan cheese on them, and the boneless wing I swear frozen chicken tenders that were way over cooked.

Bought mild wings from there two weeks ago and received what I ordered. Went back to ight for the same thing spend almost 50 dollars on 30 wings which I should have checked before walking out the door. I’ve stopped here 20 times ish, 5 of 20 have been great, friendly bartender and good food..15 other times 2-3 people behind the bar walk right past me or stare elsewhere (phone or tv) the times I’ve felt welcome and stayed long enough to order food it’s been great. The majority of the times I’ve waited long enough to be noticed and got one beer and left or like tonite I just went to another bar without getting anything.

Nice place. Clean and good atmosphere. However, we wanted to sit outside on there patio for dinner during wing night because it was a nice night. The hostess told us they wouldn't serve us if we sat out there. I don't understand their thinking behind that. He was rude about it and we got put in a back corner of the room. It took us forever to get our waitress to our table to order. But we did get our food quick. The wings were really good. If you plan to go to wing night, remember, they charge an extra $1 for celery and blue cheese. Most places give it out for free. The only reason why I give it three stars is for the wings. I don't plan on going back anytime soon.

I went in last night for some wings with my sister and a friend. We wanted to sit outside and she said about 20 minute wait. Which was fine so we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks. I walked to the back to check out the new patio furniture and the manager/server was so rude and said “mam I told you I’d let you know when it’s ready” I said I’m just looking. So I went back to the bar and I made a comment TO MY SISTER AND Friend about the customers out back. The manager/server said she wasn’t gonna serve us dinner bc of my comment which wasn’t to her or staff or anyone. She was very rude ripped my beer from the bar and dumped it and threw 3 bucks down on the bar and said I was banned. Idc who anyone is they will not speak to me that way. A couple years ago my mom and I had an issue with her as well when we were in there eating. I’d really like to talk to the owner about this. Mind you we sat for a half hour for nothing bc she would not let us eat there.

I got the black and bleu salad for take out asked for no onions or tomato and instead they put in olives when that's not even on the menu for$20 this is one of the most disappointing salads I've had everyone should stick to the wings cause this is gross the lettuce is soggy and the croutons are stale

The chicken wings here are very overrated in our opinion. They have 1 very rude male server. Deacons Bench, The Galley, Relief Pitcher, Harry Tufts all have much better wings and service is very good.

Although the food was amazing, I did not have a good experience. Our waitress hardly checked on us. We asked for more chips with our dip and they didn’t come out until 30mins after. She also brought us a side of fries after we already got them from someone else. The other waitresses seemed very good but ours was bad needed to check up on us way more.

Drunk bartender giving us the wrong drinks,trying to charge us for them then the local yokels got involved and they are also drunk. It was insane and and hostile. Sent them a message on FB the next…

The chicken was rubber. Could not even eat it. Also ordered turkey club sandwich my husband was sick from that 2 hrs after we left. It was interesting we had a lot of food left over and waitress never asked how are food was, because she already knew. I highly do not recommend.

I ordered medium wings, they were absolutely terrible. At first glance, I thought they had made a mistake and they were honey mustard. No, there was so much butter, that’s how they appeared. Would NOT recommend.

Terrible; soggy fries sent back and got a replacement but they tasted like the fries that were refried and brought back half of the amount. My burger tasted very odd like some of the veggies on it were bad. Took 2 bites and sent it back. I talked to the assistant manager. She argued with me about everything. “ so you just didn’t like the burger, we gave you a new basket of fries”; (although I told her they were awful); She was nasty. Then talked to the owner and he was also dismissive. Stated that you ate the fries so we will just take the burger off. Said nothing about how awful I said it was. He wasn’t nice at all. He was in the past. We shouldn’t have had to pay anything. Nice established business would have apologized and not charged you. This was not the case won’t go there again. Not customer focused. Jealous

Poor service, mediocre food, loud with drunks galore (in the evening). If someone didn't say they were open late I never would've gone. The bar obviously matters more to them than diners in the dining room. Took an extra 15 plus mintutes or so waiting until we finally decided to seek someone out to take our order. They messed up the order anyways and had to spend more time remaking the dish and waitress wanted to have an attitude and make up excuses instead of just keeping it short and apologizing for their mistakes. Can't forget the waitress shoving the remade food across the table and walking away. Ended up being there over an hour when all we wanted was to have a nice semi-quick meal after a long day at work and get home. Definitely don't recommend this place, there is much better food and service elsewhere.

Wow! Was so excited to try their food! We had 5 adults seated in the bar area. Ready for appetizers, entrees and drinks. A lady kept coming over to our table and making no sense but wanted to fight w us ??? No clue as to what was going on… no server or manager came over to help or even get our drink order :( so we left and went to Cortese … our go to place that’s always safe and has delicious food… sorry but never trying Union again.., we were actually frightened because the gentleman at the next table told us she was bothering them as well and she had actually punched a person for no reason!

I called at 8:24pm spoke to a male made an order for mac bites, 30 wings, poutine fries and an order of plain fries. I was thinking it was too many fries. My gf called back at 8:27 spoke to a woman and said "I just called with an order can I remove my order of regular fries and just keep the poutine fries." The woman took my number and name and said ok. I get there to pick up my order and a woman at the bar served me and said "can I help you?" I said yes here for a pick up, she handed me a receipt and said "are you Kyle?" At no point did I say my name. I corrected her with my actual name. She just handed me 1 order of poutine fries. I said I had more like 30 wings and mac bites she looked at me funny. She checks out the computer, there was another order under my name. I said to her "I just called to have the fries removed and keep the 1 order of poutine fries. I only wanted 1 order of fries." She argues and says "no I just talked on the phone and u wanted another order of fries." She goes back to the kitchen and comes back and says "I can cancel 1 order of the regular order of fries, but you're getting 2 orders of poutine fries." I wasn't going to argue because obviously she was right and the customer was wrong. After spending 71.68 on an order and told I was wrong, I will never go there again. The money wasn't a problem it was the service. I was trying to try a new place in the area my friend has told me about. But I couldn't recommend this place to anyone based on this customer service Make sure you get your order right the first time because if you call back, it will be your fault. Based on the service, I'm sure a reply of how I was wrong will follow this.
