Thankyou for such an enjoyable and delicious breakfast! It was my moms birthday so i booked in advance and mentioned in the booking notes to "make the meal special" and they really went above and beyond! Service was high standard from start to finish, very polite and friendly staff. We had the biscoff and bananna pancakes, vanilla chai and pistachio hot drink, They made a fuss of my mom by bringing out her meal with a sparkler and singing happy birthday which was very unexpected and to top it all off they very kindly removed my moms meal and drink off the bill so we had her meal for free!! Overall 10/10, again thankyou for taking the time out to make my moms birthday special!!

It was very busy though that isn’t the establishments fault. Our server, Kechae, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and understanding of our disabilities, and made sure we had everything we needed, even if we didn’t ask firsthand. The atmosphere and decorations inside the restaurant were beautifully designed and it was a very nice experience overall. Thank you. :)

First time going and it was amazing. Seated almost immediately and staff were friendly and honest about the food. I had the buttermilk chicken burger and it was extraordinarily good had the option to add cheese and bacon to make it better! 100 percent recommend. 10/10

Me and my partner was greeted by Addy, an excellent host making us feel welcomed and informed. My partner’s celiac condition was taken heavy into consideration with plenty of options available. The food was great too with excellent wating from other members of the team. Lovely spot to check out!

Just spent three days with a friend in Brum. We eat all our meals at 'Bills'. There is simply no where else decent to eat. The food is amazing, served quickly, hot & delicious. What's more all of the staff are exceptional. They work very long hours but still find time to engaging, professional & polite. You may have to queue but don't let that put you off, you won't wait long, you won't be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff that we made friends with over the last few days you are a credit to your employers xx

I’ve been to Bills in various locations but only ever for breakfast because I know their gluten free choices are great. This time we had an early evening meal here and again I was spoiled for choice as was my partner who had the main menu. The gluten free burger was spot on and the halloumi fries were perfect, the best I’ve had. Wonderful ‘typical Bills’ decor, quirky and cosy. The service was great too.

I had a brilliant breakfast recently! The service was top-notch and made my visit feel special. While my scrambled eggs were a tad overdone, everything else was perfect, especially the delicious orange juice. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, and I really appreciated the value for money. Can't wait to come back for more festive treats!

Felt very comfortable. Me and my friend had allergies and our server Keisha made us feel very comfortable and didnt make it awkward when taking our order. Very easy to check allergens on QR code too. Nice atmosphere and food

Me and my girlfriend dined here and had a lovely server, Kechae, she was very attentive and made sure we had the best time, truly made the experience worthwhile and made us both want to come back again. Thank you so much. We both would highly recommend!

Had a really good meal. Best to book in advance as it was extremely busy when I went. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The food was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Drinks were great as well. Good selection of dishes and drinks. Prices were very competitive. Would definitely go there again next time I visit Birmingham. Seating outside is available too.

Following a heavily disappointing 40th birthday meal here back in November we decided to give it another go. It’s a very busy restaurant and, as we’ve found, not ideal if you’ve got 2 under 2 as there’s not much space to keep a pram around the table etc But the food was spot on and the service was great this time around. Now I would gladly recommended to anyone. 👍🏽

I visited Bill's Birmingham today, and it was such a brilliant experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was lively as always ! A big shoutout to Adrian, who absolutely made our visit. His service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to make your meal feel personal, and Adrian definitely did that. The food was delicious — full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The cocktails were amazing too (as expected)! Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Thanks again to the team, and especially Adrian, for such a great experience! 🌴🍹✨

This place is quite remarkable. While Bill's food as a chain is ok, this one always seems to deliver above average quality. It's the food you hope for when you order off the menu. What really has set this one aside though is the staff, we have only visited a few times but have never had anything but the warmest welcome and best service from every member of staff. The last we visited after a month, a member of staff who had only met us once remembered us and remembered we had allergies in the party. Think about how many people go through here in a day let alone a month and that really says to me it's not just a faceless company. Now our favourite place to eat by far...

We were very impressed by the service. When the manager apologised that my wife's drink did not have a straw as they can contain gluten we felt very safe. Separate gluten free menus are much appreciated. A little busy but it is just before Christmas.

Everyone was so lovely at this Bills. It was 17.00 on the dot and they allowed us to order the afternoon treats, we had tea and doughnuts and they were delicious! The staff easily and efficiently added the blue light to our bill. We weren’t rushed, the lady got me the chocolate sauce I wanted. The staff were absolutely brilliant! Amazing service and amazing staff! Special thanks to Adele and Jasvine, Mihai who were most kind and helpful.

Good location , the terrace has spectacular views of the Cathedral . Good choices on the menu , Mediterranean food with Turkish / Moroccan twist, small portions the mains but tasty 😋 we love all the salads and small dishes tapas style 👌 whine is overpriced and not a good choices no organic wine but the classic cocktails are good price 😁 The bottom less pancakes are yammy 😍 Good fast service , not many smiles 😉 Overall good value for money and we def entry recommend it 🙂

I recently visited a Billś in Birmingham Bullring with a friend. Normally, the menu includes a lot of dishes with bacon, and I informed the waiter that I don’t eat bacon and requested a bacon-free burger. Unfortunately, when the burger arrived, it did contain bacon. I was understandably frustrated and spoke with the waiter, and soon after, the manager came over to apologize. They replaced my burger, offered complimentary coffee, and even provided a takeaway box for my meal. In the end, they even waived the bill entirely, which was a kind gesture that I truly appreciated. While the initial mix-up was frustrating, I was impressed by how the staff handled the situation. Their efforts to make things right definitely turned the experience around. I would still recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning in the future.

We have been here a couple of times. We enjoy the food, they have a great menu. It's well loved and the staff are friendly. However, they need more staff at busy times, or introduce an order by QR code option. Otherwise its a good place to eat.

Breakfast in brum 🥞☀️☕️ Good morning sun trap with a nice breakfast to follow could of been a 5 but maybe we didn’t make the right choices off the menu, biscoff pancakes was a sweet sensation but the chorizo dish was a bit confused lots going on but never really gelled needed a better dipping sauce for the flatbread. cappuccino was good but the coconut matcha wasn’t great but definitely could taste the 🥥 overall would recommend 🍽️

Went to this restaurant because I signed up for StoriBoard. It’s a platform that connects strangers together and you meet new people for the first time in a restaurant, interesting experience. So Bill’s, in terms of the food I’ve definitely had way better food. The atmosphere is chilled and calm and the crowd is decent too. I ordered the Sea Bass dish with Couscous, because I wanted a healthy option. If I ever visit there again, I’d try something else but I wasn’t the only one in the group that had something negative to say about the food tbh. Decent food but like I said I’ve had way better food dining in Bull Ring. The Pomegranate drink was okay.

Have been here a few times now and can safely say the food and service is always good. Dropped in 19.04.25 and the guy who brought the food to the table just had the best disposition and was just so happy without being over bearing - kudos for putting a smile on my face. Food is usually pretty decent and my go to is the buttermilk chicken pancakes which are usually top notch and my partner has the big brunch which is more than ample. The only issue I’ve had here is that twice now I’ve seen a manager admonishing a staff member in the restaurant floor which I find to be totally unprofessional and unnecessary. Just makes for an uncomfortable and unpleasant dining experience if you witness this.

Immunity Smoothie was decent-ish. Bottomless Pancakes were delicious, very filling. You get 3 for the first one then 2 for every refill.

I have been to Bills a number of times now. I am gluten free and all of the photos shared are of delicious gluten free food. Their gluten free menu and food is great. The service and atmosphere were a little loud and slow but understandable as it was very busy / popular. I would highly recommend their food especially for those who want to try a wide range of gluten free food - their menu is very diverse which is nice to see.

Great food, as expected by Bill’s standard but service was quite poor. The waiter actively avoided listening to us or responding to our queries in lieu of chatting with their friend on the bar. When we asked if we can still have our order changed within minutes of placing the order, he said he would check, never came back, and just expected us to accept it as it is. We would be fine with no changes but the lack of acknowledgment and the actions of preferring to chat with their friends instead really make us felt ignored and unheard of.

Not a great experience to be honest. We visited as I’m coeliac and saw that bills is accredited by coeliac uk. We had to complain about 2 of 4 meals as they were incorrect or missing something. When complaining for the second time about the Second meal the lady was quite rude. Service wasn’t brilliant and we overheard the manager complaining too which shouldn't be done in sight or your customers. We waited while to order and then again for drinks to be brought to us.

This place automatically adds on a 12.5% tip to your bill and the only way to remove it is to ask a member of staff. Tips are supposed to be earned, not something a customer is strong-armed into. Also, the eggs benedict has something spicy added on top which is NOT mentioned on the menu so be warned.

​I had a mixed experience at Bill's. On the positive side, the staff are very nice and welcoming, which created a pleasant atmosphere despite the issues we faced. ​The food, however, was a letdown. While the pancakes are definitely value for money in terms of portion size, they were unfortunately overcooked, making them quite dry. Even worse were the fries; they were awful and not crispy at all, tasting as if they had been left sitting in the kitchen for a long time before being served. To make matters worse, the table was very small, which made it feel quite cramped and difficult to fit all our plates and drinks comfortably. Great service, but the kitchen and the seating space could definitely be improved.

Great location in the heart of the city. The food menu sounded nice but did not live up to my expectations. Don't think I would visit again as there are vast majority of restaurant, located in the area.

Won’t be back, we were seated at the back of the restaurant, to be greeted with a sticky table and filthy glasses on the table…. Then we asked for a substitute for one of the items on a breakfast, as didn’t want mushrooms, to be told ‘No’! Food was ok, my ginger beer didn’t have much flavour. There’s a lot of choice for places to eat in Birmingham, this place needs to do better, in my view.

The price for food is outrageous! I would probably give 4 stars, if the food were as tasty as in five guy. And the atmosphere is actually 1 out of 5. Because the furniture above the tables is dusty which is very bad, it can potentually fall, and get in customers food from above. The serice is 2 stars. The lady that were giving people food wore old clothes, this spoiling Restaurants reputation. I would be satisfied if they had clean and new furniture, if the staff wore nice looking clothes, if the food were as tasty as in most average five guys restaurant. So it's fairly 2.

The restaurant was very busy, we were seated on a table for 2 and our drinks orders were taken. Ordered 2 pints from the drinks menu to be told they had no draught, so I ordered 2 different drinks, the server said abruptly and condescendingly "I've told you there is no draught beer on!" I was shocked at how rude he was! Even the table next to us looked at us open mouthed. He said " do you want anything else?" I just shook my head and he walked off. I looked at the couple at the next table, they just stared down at their half eaten plate of food (didnt look the best as they'd put their knives and forks down at this point - so guessing didn't take great either!) I made the decision that anywhere that speaks to their customers in this tone certainly don't deserve my custom and we left. Never been spoken to like that in a restaurant before. The male who served us needs some refresher training in his customer service skills, that's for sure!! Their loss, we took our custom elsewhere and had a lovely lunch at Franca Manca who treated us with the respect and common courtesy that should be the norm in hospitality.

Absolutely appalling service. My partner and I wanted to celebrate our first valentines here. We had a booking at 8 and arrived at 7:50. We were made to wait in a queue for 25 minutes with groups of other bookings because the boys was “understaffed and overworked” according to the guy at the counter. Once sat at 8:15, we were offered complimentary drinks on the house as compensation for the long wait. Our order was taken from the Valentine’s set menu of two courses and a free cocktail. The starters arrived at 9pm and were cold. We ate this anyway but didnt receive our cocktails. At this point we’d drank the complimentary drink and nobody came to check on us or offer more drinks. We asked for our cocktails and instead were wrongly given mocktails. When we complained, Instead of making the actual cocktails (which had different ingredients) the manager came over and had vodka shots to put in the drinks, this tasted vile. At this point it was 9:25 and we had a second booking to go to at 10. We asked about the whereabouts of the mains we’d ordered an hour before and the manager said the kitchen was overrun and understaffed and may not make it in time. He said he’d give us time to think about whether we wanted to stay. At this point we’d spotted all the tables around us had walked out due to the appalling service and that the table behind us had been told their order had never been put through. This didn’t fill us with confidence so we decided to leave. The mains suddenly arrived (we ordered rare steaks and what appeared was overcooked black/grey steaks). We said we wanted to pay for our starters and leave. Once again we were ignored for 10 minutes and nobody came over with the bill, so we went to the main counter. At this point the managers attitude completely changed and became very angry and rude. He tried to charge us for both the complimentary drinks we’d been offered and the “free” cocktails on the set menu. When we explained that these were free he became confrontational and said “I see what you’re trying to pull”. We kept trying to reiterate tha we were happy to pay for the food but not for drinks advertised and offered as free. It was a very nasty situation and a complete flip on the apologetic and understanding person who repeatedly admitted that the venue was being mismanaged and that the service was less than adequate. It’s clear he never intended for the “complimentary” drinks to be complimentary. The whole evening was ruined. This restaurant is completely mismanaged and not hospitable at all. They can’t get orders right, they don’t put orders in, drinks are watered down and served wrong, any friendly service is a facade to make money. It’s clear the customer comes last and the food is not fresh. Would give 0 stars if I could. UPDATE: responded to bills email request asking for more info. They did not bother to reply or follow up

Went for a bite to eat today 28/12/25 and found it to be nice and busy but still a couple of tables available. Waited in the doorway to be greeted, even though a member of staff was at the til, who could've acknowledged us but didn't until after he had finished looking around. We were then greeted by another gentleman who first of all told us that several items were off the menu because they hadn't had a delivery, so ok we get that can happen, he then confirmed allergies with us and sat us down at a table. We looked through the menu and were taken aback by how many items we couldn't order due to the lack of food delivery. Waitress came and asked us what drinks we wanted, even though we hadn't had time to look at the menu, she then came back later which is when we ordered the drinks, a Tropical Lemonade and a Rhubarb Ginger Beer. Drinks eventually came and my ginger beer nearly ripped my throat apart as was overly spicy, my wife's tropical just tasted of peach and nothing else. The lemonade was more water, as not carbonated and no taste in either drinks. Ordered food, Halloumi which was overcooked and soggy with a cream not a garlic aioli sauce, the dumplings we ok but not how they should be, we asked for the manager as we had decided enough was enough, especially after witnessing several other diners getting the wrong food and drinks that were also incorrect, this didn't instill much confidence in our mains. The manager was very nice and apologetic and waived the bill for what,we had received. She offered us a voucher to go back, but we kindly refused as don't go to Birmingham that often, this was a treat. It just seemed very disorganised and the staff let it down badly, obviously a lot of training needs to be done for both cooking and making drinks, even a cup of black coffee that had to go back from the table next to us.

Usually love Bills at other locations however our experience today was completely unacceptable. Booked well in advance for valentine’s day dinner. When we arrived there was a queue of at least 10 couples out of the door, all with bookings around our time. They left us waiting for half an hour, putting people with later booking times in front of us in the queue. We decided to leave as this was only an hour before the restaurant shut and we did not want to be rushed as none of the couples in front had been allocated a table yet. No apologies whatsoever from any servers. JUST TO UPDATE FOLLOWING REPLY - I emailed regarding my experience as instructed however still no reply. A simple email in return would be appreciated.

We went for the bottomless pancakes. Arrived 3pm and were only served twice - at the start and an hour after our first plate! How is that bottomless when we had to struggle to be served for an hour for our second plate. On top of that I had ordered an elderflower lemonade but after a couple of sips it became flat bitter lemon water! Would not recommend for a bill of £32.
