Rustys Saloon

Rolled into Bishop late after snagging a couple 14ers and this seemed like the only place open. The bar was packed! Still, I was able to get a burger, a beer, and chat with a few patrons. Everybody from the staff to the clientele in this place were fun!

This place was what you would call INCREDIBLE! The atmosphere was so fun and energetic we were visiting for the weekend and were welcomed by the locals as they helped us with awesome fishing spots and making delicious drinks. The bartenders were super nice and made us feel right at home! We cant wait to go back. Best hospitality you can ask for!

Pretty cool little spot, I like the way it looks, had a couple jägerbombs there and they were good. There's a huge snake skin up on a wall and I think you've just got to see it for yourself. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Place was clean. A few pool tables. open late 😁

Rusty’s in Bishop CA. Probably the finest choice in Bishop for a late night cocktail. Top choice and highly recommended by the locals. You can’t go wrong headed into Rusty’s! Pool, shuffle board, and good looking people.

An awesome dive bar! Super friendly bartender, 2 pool tables, darts, shuffle board, game night, cheap drinks, bring your own food, walking distance to all of the hotels in Bishop - don’t skip this place.

Great little place in Bishop. It really is the small town locals spot. Great prices, friendly locals, and a full compliment of bar games make this place my go to stop whenever Im passing through Bishop. Absolutely love it! Dont forget to tip the bartender!

Nice TVs , caught some Sunday football and enjoyed some cold beer at a good price. Some craft beers were so well priced I rather not list the cost. Nice LOCAL spot.

If you like Coors Light, pool, & Touch Tunes, this is the spot for you. Don't ask about the specialty drink "The Rusty Lei." Apparently, the bartender doesn't know how to make it, despite it being plastered all over the bar. It's a townie bar, but interesting.

There’s no better dive bar in Bishop! Great for day drinking and a wild night! The bar staff is super helpful and funny! They recently remodeled half the bar. It doesn’t take away from the “Dive bar ambience”. They still have wacky memorabilia hanging all over the walls. As of recently food is served inside the bar. The restaurant is separate from Rustys but very easy to order and it’s amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the fish taco is top notch! This is a great place to experience some of the local flavor. Many regulars drink here. If you’re nice to them they will give you some tips. There’s pool darts and shuffleboard and I also have a number of bar games. I would highly suggest stopping in for at least one drink before leaving bishop.

This place is fantastic. Aubrey (the bartender) is super sweet and skilled. The food is out of this world. I’m from Louisiana and usually end up disappointed in food outside of my home state. This was SCRUMPTIOUS! I was thrilled with the Mac and cheese burger. My husband also had some super tasty wings & lobster sliders. Such a gem. 100% MUST GO HERE!

Great local saloon with a good selection of beers and friendly locals. Dont serve food so not sure where the "grill" bit in the name comes from. Generally a pleasant experience.

This place is fantastic. I was stranded in Bishop for the night with car problems. So, stopped in for a few beers and couldn’t have been happier. Good vibes, great staff and a cool atmosphere. There’s pool table in the back as well as shuffleboard and foosball. You can also order food at the restaurant next door and they will deliver it to you in the bar. Be sure to say ‘hi’ to Linda... easily, one of the best saloon bartenders I’ve met.

Our drinks were great, service was quick, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Robert was the one who took care of everything for us and he was fantastic. If I ever came to Bishop again, I'd come back just knowing I'd enjoy being here.

It’s Tuesday the 10th of February, I know your open. Unlock the door, I need a beer. Update: they unlocked the door. Great bar for early weekday nights to have a couple and shoot some pool. Everyone complaining about not getting attention at the bar is just too lazy to walk to the bar mat and ask for a drink.

The Bloody Mary's with house infused vodka are .... Phenomenal, and I have had A LOT of bloody Mary's in my life. Also the staff is so nice and it's just the best down to earth local vibe you can ask for.

Just stopped in to watch 3rd period of game 5 of Ducks. Very nice and comfortable, maybe a little pricey but didn't care. Cold and hitting the spot.

Picked up a couple souvenir Rusty's shirts, had some Cold Beer and enjoyed chatting with the bar tender , Linda? Was in town for the first time as well as Rusty's first time , Tuesday night , Nov 30th, pretty slow this night but relaxing after a drive from Palm Desert to Bishop for the night . Nice stop over. If you came for its namesake you're in luck, it Is in fact a rustic saloon where you can feel the history practically overflowing from the wooden floor boards. The bartender is kind and the atmosphere is fitting for this town with cowboys making up its heart and heritage.

They have the stand up karaoke in the front with a full bar and the private party rooms all around the back. Good size rooms and pads to queue songs which is nice. Their bottle service and drink menu is pretty good, though a little pricey.

Great drinks at a good price. Lots of TV's, dart board, pool table, shuffle board, and Nike box for music. Very cozy inside and decorated with the Old West Theme. Good available to order after 4 pm

They have the stand up karaoke in the front with a full bar and the private party rooms all around the back. Good size rooms and pads to queue songs which is nice. Their bottle service and drink menu is pretty good, though a little pricey.

THE bar in Bishop. Diverse and friendly crowd, and amazing staff. The Tipsy Mule (separate business, but they deliver right to your seat) serves seriously delicious bar food. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and fries 👌🏼. Two stars deducted because the karaoke guy literally screamed at me for walking on "stage" (between performances) to ask him how to sign up...even though he never explained it over the P.A. and there were no sign-up sheets or songbooks on the main bar.

Pretty standard issue dive bar. Smells of stale beer, everything besides the burgers is deep-fried. The men's bathroom was clean which was kind of unexpected The bartender and the food staff were very polite.

Pretty great hamburger, however the seating arrangement is severely lacking. The environment is like a bar with a small warehouse attached. They served our beer on tap in a red solo cup.

Wasn't crowded. I can honestly say very bad service. They need to work on that

Not a comfortable place. The bartender saw me and ignored me multiple times, it was pointed out by another patron. This is the second time we tried it. I wouldn’t recommend- it’s definitely for a select few.

And when I said something about it she got an attitude and tried to assume that I was someone else even though I had never been in this town before. Absolute worst customer service period. She thought I was giving her attitude when she was making the drink incorrectly.

Bartender completely ignored us, made it feel like it was an inconvenience to order mixed drinks, and 2 hours before closing he snatched our remaining drinks literally out of hands. Zero warning or communication. Never experienced such rudeness in all the bars I've been to

So I have visited Bishop and this bar several times over the years with my climbing partners, but this is my first visit with my wife. We were met with an over served drinker making fun of us for riding our bikes to the bar. My wife went to the bar to get our drinks and bartender ignored her for at least 5 minutes, making eye contact several times. Besides the bigot wearing bar mech, there were only a few others at the bar. Not sure why we were not served in a timely manner. Never had this with my guy friends, the reviews were great, lots for out of towners, so not sure why us. I can deal with slow service when it is crowded. I can deal with slow service with nice welcoming people, but no service…Would not recommend… went across the street and had our drinks and lunch with wonderful people.

Lost my jacket, someone took it. Asked for help but everyone was busy with more important things I guess. Jacket had car keys and passport. I kindly asked everyone who was working with only one person looking in lost and found. Even asked Schatt owner... Those first minutes were crucial in discovering who took my jacket, very bummed
