Trattoria degli Amici, Via Vittorio Veneto 36, Ciserano, Bergamo province. It's always open and closes at 1:00 AM. It's a trattoria that serves excellent home cooking, with fresh pasta and top-quality meat and fish. It's run by truly friendly and down-to-earth people. We're located in the center of town, where you can enjoy their traditional dishes, accompanied by wine and a good espresso, for between €12 and €16, which I'd call very affordable. And if you want to go a little overboard on the dishes, you can expect to pay a maximum of €20. What immediately strikes you is the charm of the trattorias of the past, when everyone would eat together in the large courtyards of the farmhouses. I was very impressed...that's why I'm telling you to come and try it.

I went with my husband last month for lunch, the fried calamari was top notch. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we'll definitely be back. Not to mention the price...super reasonable.
Yesterday I ate at this restaurant, both for lunch and dinner. Quality and courtesy make this place a very family-friendly place, where Marzia and her brother take turns serving tables quickly and kindly. It's a place where you feel at home, with tasty, simple cuisine, without unnecessary frills. People understand this and enjoy the dishes as if they were cooked by a family. The excellent price/quality ratio, €12, gives a sense of the exceptional value of Trattoria degli Amici. I highly recommend it. Lore.

I went there in the evening and used the bar. I took a step back in time. The village bars stuck 20 years ago. This might seem negative, but it's quite the opposite. Enough with these nice places where you have to reserve a table and they rip you off. Here you come in, get a drink, sit down, play cards, chat, have fun, come in, and off you go, no appointments, requests, or lists. I'll definitely be back 😉
Everyone was definitely very kind and smiling. The food was reasonably good; we only went for lunch during our break. The atmosphere was a bit shabby, and the price was completely out of line... €17 for a set menu: first course, second course, water, and coffee... different from the advertised price list, and with no warning about any possible surcharges due to who knows what... What a shame...
I had lunch today with my wife. We were passing through. I've read some positive reviews on various websites, but today, they were at their best—very negative. They verbally offered us a couple of first courses, which we didn't order because they were too bland: spaghetti with ragù or gnocchi. We both ordered meatballs in tomato sauce with a side dish—three small meatballs, a small salad, a piece of boiled fennel, and a glass of water. We went to pay, €24 for two second courses, expensive for what was on the plate. Let's leave it at that; I don't want to comment so as not to offend anyone, but show them your plate is a bit full, and add two more meatballs. They didn't give us a menu, otherwise we could have chosen à la carte. Highly negative rating. No Bergamo specialties. A shame, never to go again. For us.
In thirty years, it's never happened to me. 😲😲😲👎👎👎 It's fine that one chooses their customers... but if you're open for business lunches... at least be kind enough to apologize before saying 12:50, come back in an hour because I'm full... when in reality, you could see empty tables. 🤷 We work too. If nothing else... I left there... just 7 minutes later, I found another... which I won't mention because I consider myself a step above... better only because he welcomed me... asked for 5 minutes... And he let me sit. 👍 Courtesy isn't for everyone. Enjoy your meal
