Cibo buono e personale molto accogliente. Locanda al centro del paesino di Bosco Marengo. Da ritornare sicuramente
Bellissima osteria , cucina semplice ma ottima con prodotti di prima scelta
I've been to this restaurant several times and it doesn't disappoint. The welcome is excellent and the traditional dishes are very good and carefully prepared. The portions are just right, it's a restaurant, not a trattoria. However, if you're passing through Bosco Maremgo, it's worth stopping by and enjoying excellent dishes in a lovely atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere.
Traditional dishes with Ligurian influences, excellent wines, a lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere, almost like a living room. The menu rotates fairly regularly depending on the seasons and the availability of ingredients. The agnolotti, the tagliolini with mushrooms, and yesterday's sausage lasagna were all very popular, as were the gnocchi, which were incredibly soft. The rabbit roll with mustard mayonnaise is a must, as is the stockfish with Taggiasca olives and cherry tomatoes. Exceptional desserts. I come here about once a year, but I will definitely return. The rosé wine is truly excellent, perfect for the evening. My only small tip: I would prefer the wine to be opened at the table (I've seen it arrive already opened at other tables, too).
I come to Bosco once a year and I always come here. Over the years, the quality of the food, service, and hospitality has always remained very high. Well done! Unmissable.
They use only local products and they work under “slow food” brand
A well-kept and welcoming place. Attentive, courteous, and professional service. The food was truly excellent, using locally sourced and traditional ingredients. The Fassona beef tartare was delicious! The owner was friendly and very kind. Excellent value for money. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll know where to eat.
A must-see for anyone passing by on the highway, but so good you'll want to come back for more. (And ask them for recommendations for sleeping nearby.) Take Piedmontese cuisine, add a touch of Ligurian cuisine, and add the hospitality of Andrea, Michela (in the dining room), and Gianni (in the kitchen), and you're all set. Textbook veal with tuna sauce. Flambéed Carmagnola peppers with Bagna Cauda that you could eat a hundred times over. Fassona beef tartare made with a compass. Tagliatelle with mushrooms straight from Wikipedia. Fried anchovies that you wouldn't even find in Genoa. A cheese platter that looks like something out of the movie Ratatouille. Amazing stuffed peaches. All simple, traditional dishes, impeccably prepared. And the breadsticks! Oh, the breadsticks... Very nice wine list, partly made with their own wines. A place worth trying, trust me. From that day on, you'll no longer remember Marengo for Napoleon, but for the Locanda Dell'Olmo. PS: They also make the legendary Pollo alla Marengo, made to order.
We ate well, from appetizer to dessert, with very well-cooked dishes and more than adequate portions. The local, appetizing products were sourced for a gastronomic experience worth experiencing to the fullest. The service was impeccable: professional, courteous, and friendly. The bill was reasonable, and I consider it to be excellent value. The cuisine at this restaurant deserves frequent visits!
Great place to stop as the food is refined and the chef is really sweet. Typical Italian and non mainstream food.
This is honest straight forward italian cooking at its best. We loved it.
Great
Super!!
Great Italian traditional restaurant.
Discovered the Locanda almost 20 years ago, the same family is running it, and the food is great, all home made. Corzetti pasta are memorable. Battuta also. Friendly people and great food.

I piatti top...ritorneremo volentieri. Troppo caldo al interno ma poi si e risolto.
Pochi piatti molto ben fatti che coprono una cucina piemontese senza rivisitazioni inopportune, legata alla stagionalitá ed al mercato.
After several years, I finally managed to return for my "little girl's" nineteenth birthday, and I still found the excellent Piedmontese cuisine, with a slight Ligurian influence, that I remembered. Substantial cuisine with excellent ingredients and no frills. The basket of artisanal bread and breadsticks, included with the cover charge along with water, was excellent. A decent selection of wines, with ample space for their own, and fair markups. The final bill was in line with the offer.
Lunch with a la carte menu there is no fixed menu, the choice is not so vast but still interesting, as well as the wines offered are not many, all regional and traditional products. The dishes are all good from appetizer to dessert, the quality of the products is excellent and the prices proportionate, very friendly and punctual service. If you are in the area I recommend you try, you will hardly leave disappointed.
The restaurant is located in the town square, with parking right in front. In the summer, there's a lovely outdoor terrace; the inside dining room isn't huge, but it's welcoming. The menu doesn't offer a wide selection, which, in my opinion, guarantees the freshness of the ingredients. The dishes are well-prepared, and there's definitely a focus on the product and the producer. In my opinion, however, the price of the dishes is a bit too high for the quantity, especially the main courses. The bread and breadsticks are good.
I'm sorry. I had a different memory. The wine was good. No memorable dishes. I have the impression that all that remains is the story of a magnificent slow food trattoria, but if the standard is what I tried, it seems undeserved at this point. The flan was more like a flan in consistency. Tagliatella with pumpkin and crispy bacon, too sweet and with almost no bacon and not at all crispy. The pasta was excellent. The stew was decent but very fatty. The polenta was very good. Bunet, decent. Barbera Banaiotta Bondi, their product: splendid. Excellent recommendation. Friendly and discreet service. Pricey for the quality offered.
Nice dining room, very clean. Food was good. Friendly and helpful people who run it.
Bad experience. I made a booking for a friend, she arrived at 23:45 , on the 14th April 2023 , and no one at the property was available, no instructions of any kind, the property did not answer the phone, did not answer any message and any email. My friend had to sleep at the station of Milano the entire night. I contacted the service with whom I made the booking and it passed the buck, and made up excuses not to give the refund. Locanda Dell'olmo, shame on you and your staff. I wasn´t able to get any refund.
