Really great food! Tons of explosive flavors that make me wants to keep eating. Very balanced. 环境很好有云南特色！Every dish was good, my favorite were the stir-fried ricecake and the stir-fried beef with picked veggies.

The food here is very authentic and absolutely delicious! The spicy dishes are flavorful without being overwhelming, and the non-spicy ones are just as tasty. Everything we tried was cooked perfectly. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves Yunnan cuisine!

My wife and I had a good experience for Thanksgiving lunch. Nice to find good Chinese food close to home. The rich red and brown decor added to the cozy ambience. The service was warm and pleasent. We're looking forward to our next visit for experiencing the variety of food on the menu.

My family and I are in Boston for the weekend and wanted to try authentic Yunnan food, and this was the perfect place. The food was truly phenomenal, the service spectacularly fast, and the vibe perfect for what we needed after a long day. Our favorite dishes were the fried pea jelly, the Yunnan stir fried rice cakes and also the Yunnan sweet rice cakes, the lemon shredded chicken, the steam pot chicken, and the boiled fish in chili oil.

Delicious food! Loved the Xuanwei ham potato rice the best. Always come back for this! Tried the chicken soup and fried ribs too and they are good.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Boston. Good environment and very authentic Yunnan cuisine. The desert is delicious and the Beef Brisket Stew is so good.

We ordered the boiled fish filet in chili oil and the yongping braised chicken. The boiled fish filet in chili oil was delightful! It was soft and tender and full of flavor. The yongping braised chicken had a good flavor and was tender in the middle however the edges were a little overcooked so it was a little hard to bite into.

Absolute perfect! Everything was delicious, especially the braised chicken and Pau Ruda. It is my second time to Boston and also my second time here. Highly recommend.

Loved everything! The paoluda was sweet and creamy with amazing texture, the steam pot chicken soup was super fresh, and the red minced pork with tomato was so tasty and went perfectly with rice.

Very authentic and tasty Yunnan cuisine, one of my personal favorite would be the rice cakes, highly recommend for anyone who loves sour and savory dishes.

Second time here now and I love the stir fried rice cakes. It’s a chewy texture for those who don’t know. We also got the grandmas mashed potatoes and pork in chili oil. Very spicy, but very delicious!

Delicious, definitely get the rice cakes which are the best seller. I really liked the tilapia (takes 20 minutes to come out), the potato ham rice, and the wood ear mushroom salad. Next time I’d want to try the potato pancakes.

This restaurant is amazing, this is my second time coming within the past month! My parents are from Kunming and really appreciate experiencing a taste of home. I’m very glad we found somewhere to enjoy these dishes that you wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else! Definitely a regular spot for our family now that we have discovered it.

We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. I enjoyed my vegitarian potato pancakes, mushroom dish. My friends chicken dish was ok but was little more salty for her taste. The tofu skin soup was good but it was very spicy for me. Overall, we were happy with food but some items wasn't a right choice for our food preference. Staff was wonderful and great service.

Yunnan Kitchen is one of my go to's, honestly I love any of the potato dishes. But the boiled fish with chili is also one of my favorites.

A hidden gem in the south end for authentic Yunnan cuisine! Absolutely loved every dish but especially the lemon chicken and rice cakes. Can’t wait to come back!

The food here was great! My daughter and I really enjoyed the Xisguangbanna Lemongrass Tilapia. The service was amazing as well! Everyone was very welcoming. Overall a wonderful experience; the atmosphere was so cozy.

As a vegetarian, the restaurant has plenty of options to choose from. The vegetable stir fry Udon was the tastiest item. We even got the the Yunnan signature potato pancakes and rice pancakes, both were delicious with good portion sizes

The fish came out hot and was quite tender. It was not too spicy either. The yongping braised chicken is flavored well but the meat could be more tender. The bread that came with the coconut milk dessert was toasted well. It paired pretty well with the milk and sago. Overall, the restaurant has a calm ambiance with plenty of seating.

The atmosphere and vibe is nice, and the food is good, but I feel like either it's missing something to really bring it home or too salty. The definitely solid options however are the rice cake dish and the fried mushrooms.

We had a party of four for dinner Christmas day. It’s a cozy place. The menu is very interesting with a lot of dishes we haven’t seen anywhere. We had the fried pea jelly, the potato pancake, the stir fried rice cake (with the pork omitted), the sweet and sour dish and the stir fried shrimp rice (this last one was form the “classics” menu and was tasty but not interesting). All of the food was good and the stir fried rice cake was excellent. The problem was with the mismatch between the menu and what they had. We used the QR code menu because that was on the table and no one offered us any prong menu. It turns out that QR code key was dated. I ordered a sale cocktail I was excited about but it turns out that they no longer offer cocktails (although they do use sake just not in the menu😂). My friends ordered Chardonnay and the server came back to say they were out of that (she didn’t know up front). They then ordered Sauvignon blanc and the same thing happened. We initially ordered the tilapia and specifically checked about that; half an hour later they came to say they were out of that which was why we ended up with the sweet and sour fish (which was too sweet for my liking). I’d like to try it again, order only the interesting dishes and how they can get their act together. It was really a comedy of errors.
